Ch. 5
For the rest of the school day, the students of classes 1-A and 1-B worked hard training with their new heroes. Let's see what some of their matches looked like.
Field 1: Jonathan Joestar
Sero and Shiozaki had a look at the hero they were training with. A tall man with blue hair, a long, muscular, and lean stature, high boots, and large arm gloves. He walked towards the students, with a calm and caring smile. He began to speak to the heroes-in-training.
"I must say, I'm going to enjoy the training we do today. Are you both ready?"
"You bet I am!", Sero responded, winding up his arms and stretching his elbows."
"I am thankful for the opportunity to spar with a Pro Hero," prayed Shiozaki, her green hair whipping into shape. "I must thank you,... wait, what's your name? I don't remember seeing you around in the news."
"The name is Jonathan Joestar, but you can call me JoJo. All right, let's get started! I want you both to tie me up with your tape and vines, as if I was a criminal you just caught."
"Oh, that's easy!", and with that, Sero locked his elbows in a right angle and locked his eyes on his target. Tape began to spew from his elbows, and he began to run around, his eyes focused on Jonathan's. Once he got a good amount of rotations in, he cut the tape off his elbows with a sharp, jagged down pull.
Meanwhile, Shiozaki had her vine hair move forth in the ground, and around Jonathan's location, and tied him up not too tight to restrict his rib cage, but enough to keep him locked. She disconnected the hair she grew and turned around to get a look at the caught hero.
Jonathan resumed speaking with calmness, determination bright in his eyes. "Now listen up. There may be times where the enemy has you in a precarious position. In situations such as this, your head could be swirling with emotions and full of dilemmas. The best and first thing to do… is breathe. Concentrate...and breath...in...out…"
In that moment, Jonathan's body began to radiate with an orange aura. You could hear his breathing, and in a split second, Jonathan lifted his knee, where the orange energy channeled and broke through the tape and vine barrier immediately.
"Pardon the harm I may cause to your vines, young lady" and with enough of the energy he harnessed, he chopped through the weaker layer of vines, drying them as if they were dehydrated.
"There. Now that I've shown you how to best escape, let's practice." With that, Jonathan began a friendly sparring session with the two students, similar to how this first scenario began
Field 3: Joseph Joestar
The brash, brown-haired 18-year old Joseph had his eyes closed and facing away. Meanwhile, the invisible Hagakure was trying to do a sneak attack on him. Joseph took a deep breath in… and out… and as the invisible girl raised her hand to deliver a deadly blow…
"Aha! Found you, Invisible Girl!", and Joseph turned around grabbing her unseeable arm. She was hindered from moving her limbs.
"Now for the finishing blow! Hamon Chop!", and with that, Joseph focused the same energy seen in Jonathan into his hand and delivered a semi-hard blow...to what he thought was her stomach area. Instead, he accidentally hit one of Hagakure's...mammary glands.
You couldn't see Hagakure's face, but she was steaming with embarrassment and rage. She started to yell, "Get back here, you pervert!" and began to chase him.
"Oh geez! Hey, blue hair!" he yelled, calling out to Iida.
"Yes?"
"I forgot about you until now, but with those legs, you seem to be a good runner," he said while Hagakure was still hitting him, but it barely affected the muscular Englishman.
Iida took a quick look at his legs. His muscles were toned and strong with small, grey engines coming out of them. "That is true, as I am considered one of the fastest in our classes."
"Great! Pro Tip: In times of crisis or even in pure chaos, your best bet is to use your legs."
"Really? How so?" Iida pondered.
With that, Joseph gave a cocky smile, turned his arm and opposite leg in 90 degree angles, and began to sprint.
"RUN AWAY!"
"Wait!" Iida said, beginning to run right behind him, "Is there anything else?" and Hagakure was still chasing behind the two, albeit a bit far behind.
Field 9: Jean Pierre Polnareff and Muhammed Avdol
The three Class 1-B members (Kaibara, Kamakiri, and Rin) were standing together, but a few feet away from Todoroki. He gave them the cold shoulder (literally, it was his right side).
Two figures emerged from the other end of the field. One figure was a tall, lean man with a greyish-white hue of hair. He had red earrings on each side, each with a broken heart. His shirt hugged his body and a strap over his left shoulder. And his pants strapped around his lower half.
The other figure had a big coat, with sleeves around his arms. His face had two equal, curly scars across his face. His hair was in different combs and wore a headband around it. The golden ankh necklace around his neck glistened in the sun. The two men were the French swordsman Jean-Pierre Polnareff and the Egyptian fortune teller Muhammad Avdol.
"It seems that good fortune has brought us here today," spoke the fortune teller, "don't you think Polnareff?"
"Indeed I do," the Frenchman responded, "Now let's see how these students fare against my Silver Chariot."
"I heard one of you can also manipulate fire. Let's see how your flames fare against mine." and with that, Avdol manipulated his hands into a cross shape, and flames emerged from the ground in a DNA shape. All of a sudden, pillars of flame came out from the spiral and went really tall.
Avdol noticed that half of the flames immediately got extinguished as the pillars went up. It's as if they were frozen over, from behind the ice, Shoto emerged with a blank stare on his face.
"Just so you know, I can use ice as well. But your flames are impressive, I'll give you that."
"Very well. Let's see the passion that is within your flames."
"Very well…"
Field 11: Bruno Bucciarati and Leone Abbachio
Narancia called out to his former mentors, who were in the middle of a conversation. The shorter man was wearing a white shirt, with his chest exposed, and zippers on his clothing. His hair fit comfortably around his head and was combed with two braids.
The other tall man had his white hair split in different directions, with a purple, 6-folded star. His clothing had multiple strings to hold it together, with his chest slightly exposed. These men were Bruno Bucciarati and Leone Abbachio.
"Narancia!" Bucciarati said in a calm tone, "How has school been for you?"
"Great! Math's a bit difficult, but Fugo's gonna help me through it."
"That's good to hear," said Abbachio, "I assume these are your friends."
"I'm still getting to know them, but yeah."
"Alright," said Bucciarati, "Pleased to meet you all. I'm Bruno Bucciarati and this is Leone Abbachio. Our training will be a bit different. You'll be fighting with me, and Abbachio will watch from the sidelines to give you better techniques."
"I was on the police for a little bit, so I can help with investigating… what needs to be done differently."
A little bit into the fight, Tokoyami used his Quirk, Dark Shadow to block a zipper punch coming from Bucciarati. That's when Abbachio interrupted.
"Hang on a sec. Tokoyami, right? Simply swatting away Bucciarati's hand with your Quirk won't be the best idea. He could come back and try again. Plus, swatting will still do some damage to you." As Abbachio spoke, he got into the position where Tokoyami was. "Use Dark Shadow to grab Bucciarati's hand, as that leaves him open. From there, you could even yank it enough to bring Bucciarati closer to you and knock him out. Makes sense?"
"It does," Tokoyami responded, "Thanks for your tips."
"Good" Bucciarati spoke from afar. "Now let's try that again. This time, use what Abbachio told you to do."
Field 19: Josuke "Gappy" Higashikata, Joshu Higashikata, and Yasuho Hirose
The biggest group stood on the field, all the girls as far away from Mineta as possible. Who knows what he's thinking?
"Man, I'm with most of the girls! This is gonna be exciting!"
Just then, three figures emerged. The first one had a white sailor hat, and a lean build, sailor suit dressing his body. He had a small gap between his teeth and green lipstick.
Then the second figure also had a tall and long complexion. He had black hair with windows and bald spots on four corners of his face. He looked miserable and not happy with the situation.
The third stood to the side of the other two men. She had a slim figure, luscious pink hair, braided into ponytails, with purple orbs holding each stand together. She wore a blue shirt exposing her navel and a black skirt. The three figures stood, Josuke Higashikata ("Gappy"), Joshu Higashikata, and the common beauty amongst men, competing for her love, Yasuho Hirose.
"An interesting group we got here, don't you say Yasuho?", spke the gapped-tooth man.
"Let's see what they got," she responded
"Alright, students," spoke Gappy, "In times of crisis and panic, one must be able to think on their feet in case a plan does not work. For example…"
"You, the purple-haired boy," he pointed toward Mineta, "I want you to throw one of your hair balls at me, then come attack me with everything you got."
"Oh, ok," he said with a sly grin beginning to wear on his face, wanting to aim for the hot pinkhead next to him. As he said, he pulled one of the purple balls he had sitting on the top of his head, and threw it outfield like a baseball player in the US.
Halfway through its trajectory, it started to curve away from Gappy and towards his intended target, Yasuho.
I'm gonna get a pinkhead..., the perverted Mineta thought, not that Ashido isn't amazing, but this chick's even cooler. Mineta began to run at full speed, one stubby leg after another towards his target.
But in the blink of an eye, the purple ball he threw collided head-on with his face...and stuck to it. His body collapsed onto the ground with a heavy, but small thud.
The girls stood in perplexment. As they stood, Gappy came a bit closer.
"I had a feeling your friend might try to attack Yasuho instead. So I stole the stickiness property of his ball and flicked it back. Soon right after, I inverted and sent the ball's stickiness property right behind the ball. Once the ball collided, it gained back its stickiness property." By the time he was done talking, he had already been standing over Mineta, sitting on the ground, sullen in defeat.
"There are times where your enemy may use your strengths against you. Always figure a way to combat it. Then, you'll be soaring high. Now, I remember there being a girl who can use acid." He scanned the vicinity of the field, and found the other pinkhead with horns. "Let's what happens when your acid won't retain its properties!"
"Alright, you're on!"
So the rest of the girls worked with Gappy and Yasuho, while Mineta still sat on the ground, barely conscious…
Go girls...Do the fighting for me… tell the pinkhead I'm a good guy…
"Yeah, he's not a good guy," said Ashido.
MINA WHY WOULD YOU BETRAY MY TRUST?!
Field 7: Jotaro Kujo
Young heroes Bakugo and Midoriya stood on the field, getting a closer look at their hero with which they are training.
He was a tall man with a slightly muscular stature. He wore a white coat with a black shirt underneath, and white pants held together by two belts. He wore a white hat that seemed to blend in with his black hair, no traceable margin. He had green eyes that stared out into the open sky, hands in his pockets, taking occasional glances at the two teenagers in front of him. It was the man seen way back earlier, Jotaro Kujo.
"You know...just as a heads-up... don't expect me to hold back."
"I didn't want you to do that to begin with," responded the spiky-haired Bakugo. "Now come at me with everything you got!"
Jotaro gave a small grunt and replied with, "Show me what you can do."
In that moment, Bakugo rushed forward with great intensity, sweat running down his back. He put his hand forward, curved as he rushed towards Jotaro, an explosion forming in his fist. As he was about to let it burst, Jotaro sidestepped and took one of his hands out of his pockets.
Then, as he started to lift his hand, a second hand emerged right nearby it. It had a purple aura around it, and a black glove covered around its fingers. The hand lifted itself up along with Jotaro's hand, and delivered a blow to Bakugo's stomach, stunning him and sending him flying.
Meanwhile, Midoriya was running up from behind, green energy pulsing through his legs and arms, as he saw the white-hatted hero raising his hand, and could see the purple aura emanating from it.
Hey, that's the same aura Josuke had last night, Midoriya thought, when he fixed Kacchan's toothbrush.
Midoriya lept from the ground and readied his legs in the air, getting ready for a kick attack. More green energy was coursing through his veins.
"ST. LOUUUIIIIISSSS…."
Just as soon as Midoriya called out a few meters behind the hero, Jotaro turned his head around and saw Midoriya coming out of the corner of his eye. After sending Bakugo flying, he tilted his hand in a right angle and left his fist up, colliding with with Midoriya's hand.
Hmm, not bad. The kids' have skills.
Midoriya, still dealing with the impact of the kick, tried to prepare for another right there. He realized Jotaro put his hand down after the reflection.
Now's my chance!, though Midoriya.
But as he did another kick, he felt something grabbing him. He looked and saw that Jotaro's hands were in his pockets, so what could be. He then adjusted his vision to his leg, where the purple aura he saw earlier near his fist was grabbing at him.
He got a better view of the spirit's hand. The black glove that covered the purple arm had a few gold spheres on the glove. Along the arm, there were strands of yellow coursing along the huge, buff muscles. The grip on Midoriya's leg began to tighten a little bit, and the hand spun Midoroya around sending him flying in the direction he came.
This continued on for a little bit, Bakugo and Midoriya each trying to land attacks, Jotaro blocking each and sending the heroes-in-training back their way. Both of them thought the same thing:
W-What is his Quirk?!
"Hey, Kacchan!" Midoriya yelled across the field, "We'll have to attack at the same time, so it'll be harder for him to guard against our attacks!"
Bakugo was feeling a bit ticked from not being able to land a hit, so he called out, "Fine, just because I wanna beat the everlasting snot out of him. So start running, nerd!"
Both heroes ran and charged towards Jotaro, speed on par with each other. They were running with everything they got. Yet, Jotaro wore the same face, no fear running down, only a light sweat.
They got closer...closer...more energy surging through their veins...and then… the attack!
Bakugo took a light leap in the air and sent his hand down, his sweat combusting in his palm. Meanwhile, Midoriya ran low to the ground, taking a quick stomp a few feet from Jotaro, and jilted his left leg behind, and jumped up for airborne roundhouse kick.
Both attacks were so close to Jotaro, there was no way his spirit and his body could deflect. How will he deal with both attacks at once?!
...
Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, Jotaro was gone from his position, and Bakugo's hot hands caught Midoriya's leg. The knockback from the kick and the explosion from the arm was enough to send both of the heroes-in-training back and down for the count.
When they looked around after the collision, many questions were once again racing through Midoriya's mind.
That was a sure hit! How did we miss? What did his Spirit do?! Is that his Quirk? What is going on?
"You know," said Jotaro, "There's a lot left for you two to learn. But one top of all that...is to expect the unexpected, and deal with that you cannot comprehend."
Just as he said that, the bell for the end of the day rang and Aizawa called out over the field speakers.
Ok, class is over. Head back to your locker rooms to change and head to the dorms. And Class B will be coming over later on to hang out and get to know the new students better. That's all.
With that, our heroes-in-training got up from the ground beneath them, and returned with their classmates, who each had an experience of their own.
"Oi Deku," called out Bakugo as they were walking back.
"Yeah Kacchan?", Midoriya responded.
"Something seems off about the hero we were just with. In fact, I feel something off about all of our new 'friends'"
"What do you mean?"
"Think about it: How come we've never heard of these people? Are they really heroes? And what was up with that white coat's Quirk?"
"We couldn't see it, but we felt it. And how did we miss our attacks?"
"All I know is we'll have to see what they're up to. In the meantime, don't get in the way of my discovery!"
