Ch. 4
As the ceremony concluded, heroes entered the agency to engage in discussion with the new heroes who had the opportunity to work in this new agency. Nearby in the lobby, there was a table with two heroes sitting (Kakyoin and Avdol), holding sign-up lists for the use of the training facilities. The line for that extended all the way outside!
The heroes-in-training walked into the building with Aizawa and All Might right behind them. They stood in awe at the amazing building and lobby that lay before them.
The welcome desk was a clean, white table, with a wide surface, and on the edge of that disk, the surface dipped, two black computers sitting on the lower surface. The lower side of the desk had plenty of office paraphernalia, neatly organized and assorted. Behind those desks, two chairs stood, raised to a height where those who sat on it could greet someone who came to the desk.
Above the desk was the balcony and walkway of the second floor. The clean, beautiful glass railings on the railing were topped by a circular white bar, a good place to rest your arms after a long day of work. The doors on both floors were a clean paint of white, while the doors leading to the outdoor complex were again dressed in shiny glass.
"Well, it seems as though we have some guests" came a familiar voice. As it approached, the group turned their heads in that direction. The two figures were some of the major speakers who had just wrapped up the opening ceremony: Jonathan and Jotaro.
It was Jonathan who spoke before, and is now putting his hand out to All Might, "It's nice to meet you all one-to-one, especially the former number one hero."
Toshinori's arm went out to meet Jonathan's hand and they began to shake. "It's nice to meet you all too," All Might said and as the hand shake ended, he looked away to take another look at the building. "You did a real good job with establishing the Agency. Almost makes me wish I established one of my own!"
He gave a light chuckle, and Jonathan responded with a hearty laugh. Meanwhile, Jotaro was wearing the same intense glare he was known for, no trace of a smile visible. Aizawa met Jotaro's stare with a blank one of his own.
Jonathan turned around to the student body that was with the two heroes. First he glanced at Josuke and Giorno and said, "Josuke and Giorno, I trust that UA has treated you well so far."
Josuke put his arm behind his back, and with a light smile, said "You bet! I'm feeling a bit stronger already!"
"I'm really enjoying the student life and education as well," responded Giorno in a much more suave tone.
"Oh yeah, I forgot you two were related to the people in this agency," Uraraka interrupted, her hand also behind her back, but in a bit of shame.
"Oh it's no trouble," Josuke responded.
"We'll be taking you on a personal tour around the Agency," Jotaro finally spoke, "Follow me." He turned around, hands in his pockets, and slowly began to walk into the adjacent hallway. The group of UA students turned and walked with him, ready to take in the wonders of the new Agency.
(Author's Note: *insert montage of visit* I already talked about the major facilities, so I'm just gonna skip to the next important part of the story. Ok thanks have a good time bye!)
Mid-day (about 1-3 PM)
Jonathan, who ended up taking the lead in walking from Jotaro, turned around and said to the group, "And that about wraps up the tour."
As the tour was reaching its conclusion, the members of the tour were even more excited, after seeing the major amenities up close and personal.
"Man, the gym was so awesome!" Kirishima exclaimed, his hand one his other arm in an upright position, "I'm so gonna sign up for a membership!"
"I was certainly fascinated with the CIU office, and the VFS was a fun experience," Iida interrupted, his glasses shining bright with his smile.
"Yeah, that was pretty cool," spoke Todoroki in a nonchalant tone.
"I just really liked the pool," Uraraka said, turning her face to the boys behind them, "What about you, Deku?"
Deku responded in a normal tone, "I also liked the VFS, and the Outdoor Facilities were really cool! What about you Kacchan?"
Bakugo remained silent, pensive in thought. He had questions swirling around his head, some of which were beginning to exit his orbit and enter Deku's.
So why were we required to come? Was the prevailing question in both their heads.
"We're about to enter the gift shop," Jonathan said, pointing to the end of the hall, "So feel free to buy any merchandise you want ...oh and there's one more thing I should mention." Jonathan turned around and faced the students, "While we are requiring other people to purchase their memberships, all UA students are getting theirs free, since the school's paying for them. I talked with your principal about this, and he offered to do so for the sake of the students, so feel free to come when you have the availability."
The students cheered at the exciting news, especially Uraraka, relieved she doesn't have to spend a single yen.
"Now, let's head over to the gift shop!" Jonathan said in a positive tone, and the students began to walk to the gift shop…but as Midoriya and Bakugo were walking, there was a call of their names, but from a slightly-familiar voice.
"Hey, Midoriya and Bakugo," Jotaro called out, All Might standing behind him. The two were stopped in their tracks. "Follow me," he instructed, turning towards the hallway that stemmed off of the one Jonathan and the tour group went through.
The hallway they walked down had a door on the side. Jotaro took a card on his chest, and swiped it on the card scanner on the side. The door slides open, giving way to a fair-sized conference room. The room had a wide, round, brown table, with a black and white soundstation at the center. On the end of the room, a big, black screen TV was mounted on the wall, with the remote and a computer being next to the soundstation. There were four chairs, each on the highest point of the circle. Jotaro put his hand out towards the table and said, "Why don't you take a seat?"
As the four took their seats, everyone's eyes focused on everyone in that room. It was a few tense seconds of silence before Jotaro broke with a few choice words.
"So before we begin, I'd like to say, I was very impressed with our battle yesterday. You two are extremely powerful and have great potential... but I'm sure you know that's not the reason why I brought you into this room." The room grew a little bit more tense as Jotaro continued to speak.
"I can probably guess what you're thinking: How is it some heroes you've never heard of before show up and have this huge ruckus about a new Agency? And how did eight students manage to get into UA, Class 1-A specifically, when the admittance to the school is extremely rigid and strict?"
He continued, "I can assure you that we are indeed fighting for the side of justice...That being said, Giorno, Josuke, my colleagues and I aren't from around here."
Midoriya was the first new voice to butt in, "T-That does make sense...Josuke's from Morioh, and Giorno does often talk about Italy-"
"No, you don't understand…," Jotaro cut him off, "We're not from here...not from your world...or rather your universe."
