(Calvin's Birthday)

*September 28th, 1941*

*Jackson Private Academy*

Calvin was eating lunch by himself while he was thinking about his hangout session with Anya back in June.

"It's been awhile since I've hung out with Anya, I would change that today but Anya is resting due to the events of last week so I might as well spend my seventeenth birthday right here" Calvin had spoken out to himself as he looked over to see Megan and Lisa approaching him with two presents as this made him raise an eyebrow in curiosity.

"Happy Birthday, Calvin, we hope that you are enjoying your big day today so we brought you some presents.." Megan had spoken to him as she handed him the gift as Calvin accepted it.

"Thanks. I know we dont hangout anymore but I really appreciate the gift from you guys so I guess I should accept it" Calvin had spoken back in a tone of gratefulness as he opened one of the gifts to reveal a snowglobe as this made him smile.

"I do recall Judith saying that you have a knack for snowglobes so we've figured that you'll like the gift but don't forget to open the other gift as well, It's actually from Judith" Lisa had spoken to Calvin while Megan nodded her head as this made the young boy curious as he began to unwrap the second gift.

"Judith? It's been quite some time since I've seen her, I know we're not friends anymore but I'm surprised that she has been keeping her distance.." Calvin had spoken out as he finished opening the gift to reveal a rather nice brown sweater with a note attached to it as he began to read it.

"Dear Calvin, Happy Birthday. I've brought you a gift so I hope you enjoy it. I know we're not friends anymore but I hope that you might reconsider in the future. Thank you very much, From Judith"

Calvin had read the letter as he shook his head which made Megan and Lisa rather disappointed as he began to speak.

"If you guys can, please tell Judith that I will never become friends with her again, and as for the gift, I will accept it and that will be the only time that I will accept anything that she'll give me, okay?" Calvin had requested Megan and Lisa in a sympathetic tone of voice while both girls nodded their heads in agreement as they began to speak.

"Oh, I see, I guess I should forward this information to Judith but she's gonna be rather upset although things shouldn't get too bad or anything: Megan had spoken back in an understanding tone of voice while Lisa nodded her head in agreement.

"Damn it, It's all Anya's fault! If it wasn't for her and her nosey friends than Calvin would had still been our friends but we shouldn't complain about it too much but I guess we should be catching you later, Goodbye,," Lisa had chimed in agreement as she and Megan bidded Calvin farewell as they turned around to leave Calvin to himself.

"I wonder why these girls still hangout with Judith? Are they that desperate to be accepted into social groups or something? Well, It doesn't matter to me. I should see how Claudia is doing" Calvin had spoken to himself while throwing his lunch away before walking towards the hallway area in order to see Claudia as he eventually reached his destination by entering the hallway and entering the room to his right.

"Hey, Calvin, Happy Birthday! I hope that your day is going splendid and if not, I hope things get better for you" Claudia had spoken out to her friend with a smile on her face as she walked over to pull out a dummy while Calvin sat down on one of the chairs.

"Thanks and my day has been going pretty good so I can't complain about that but, how have things been for you these days" Calvin had asked his friend while waiting for his answer as Claudia began to speak.

"Things has honestly been pretty good although It's pretty boring without Emma since she's transferred to Highlands during summer but I do understand her reasonings since Judith and her little friends were always harassing her" Claudia had spoken back while walking over to her backpack to retrieve a letter as she walked over to hand it over to her friend which caused Calvin to raise an eyebrow in curiosity.

"A letter? Who is it from? I hope it's from Anya or someone that I know.." Calvin had spoken out in curiosity as he opened up the letter while beginning to read it.

"Dear Calvin. Happy Birthday! It's me, Anya I know it's been awhile since we've last seen each other in person but I hope that things has been going wonderfully for you during the last few weeks but without wasting anymore of your time, I hope your birthday is filled with wonderful blessings and the rest of us wish you a happy birthday as well! - From, Anya, Charlotte, Nancy, Emma, Mai, Mary, and Allison."

Calvin had finished reading the letter with a smile on his face as he looked up to see Claudia smiling back.

"Anya and the others wasn't able to visit you since they were busy with things but they made sure to wish you a happy birthday" Claudia had spoken to her friend in a reassuring tone of voice as this made Calvin smile with joy knowing that his friends had still made the time to send him a card.

'It's all good, At least they had the time to send me a happy birthday card so I can't complain about that, I truly have some good pals in me and I'll forever be grateful for that…" Calvin had spoken back to his friend while letting out a smile as Claudia smiled back.

"I'm really glad to hear that, Those people have truly changed our lives for the best so we should do our best to support them wherever they need it" Claudia had advised her friend while Calvin nodded his head in agreement.

"Of course, that's honestly my birthday wish and I wouldn't change a single thing about it…" Calvin had spoken back as he and Claudia continued to chat amongst themselves for the reminder of their lunch hour as both friends knew that their friends back in Highlands High were gonna make things just a bit better.
