Ch. 2

UA High School

For our Heroes-in-Training, the day went on as normal. Throughout it, there was excitement in students' faces, smiling as and laughing with their new classmates. Before the homeroom was ushered in, the girls were socializing during free time, save for Yukako standing near Koichi's desk. Josuke and Okuyasu were playing games on their new phones, yelling witty banter for every victory the other achieved. Fugo was busy working on the next day's homework while Narancia was stuck on Saturday's. Giorno was in the back, doing tricks and pranks for those who wished to be amazed.

Classes went on normally. But at around the middle of the day, right around lunch, Midoriya's phone began to vibrate. A call. As he picked up the phone, the number was that of Jotaro. He picked up with a sincere, "Hello?"

Hey, it's Jotaro. Everything going alright where you are?

"Uhh yeah. Something wrong?"

There is. It's connected to the disappearances of citizens on the news earlier. I'll need you, Bakugo, Josuke, and Giorno to come over to the Agency once the day is over. I already have permission from your school and we'll send someone to pick you up.

"Right"

I suggest you all bring your costumes. With the events that may seem to unfold tonight, I doubt regular clothing's gonna cut it. The call was cut short as Jotaro hung up. Midoriya took the phone from his ear and opened the news app, to find another breaking headline.

BREAKING: Disappearances rise to 700

Deku could tell, things were getting worse by the hour. But just how worse they would get is unbeknownst to everyone in the building.

UA Entrance, 3:30 PM

Deku was standing around the entrance, the suitcase with his costume tightly gripped in his hands. The ominous message Jotaro provided played on repeat in his head. Next to him, Josuke, and Giorno, with suitcases of their own with the numbers 21 and 25 on it, respectively. Bakugo meanwhile, wore a blank angry stare on his face, seething like a pugnacious dog.

"You know I don't entirely see the point of coming along," he spouted off.

"Well, Jotaro has an idea of what's causing the disappearances," Giorno said, "It may be something valuable to locate DIO."

"You really think that's something to warrant a visit instead of explaining in that phone call?" his voice calmed down a bit.

As they continued to talk, a sleek, black car drove up to the entrance, glistening in the sun as if it had just been washed. On the side of the car, was a giant, 5-sided, purple star, similar to the one on the Joestar building yesterday, but next to it was another sign. It looked like a large, brown, wooden wheel, and on the top it read "SPEED WAGON". As it came to a stop, the passenger side window rolled down, giving the students a view of their chauffeur.

He was an old man with a slightly-chiseled face. He had a large, black mustache, and slightly puff, white hair. His eyes were a bright, sparkling light blue. He was wearing a full black suit, with a yellow shirt and a blue tie, and a brown hat sitting on the top of his head.

"Good afternoon," the man spoke, "I hope you're all doing fine. I'm Roses, and I'll be your chauffeur. If there is anything you need, please don't hesitate to ask!" he gave a nice smile when he finished talking.

The students walked to the car and opened the doors, Deku in the front passengers seat, while the other three got comfortable in the back.

"Right...off we go then," Roses spoke and put his foot lightly on the gas, and drove away from campus.

The car ride began with a bit of pleasantries, the driver getting to know everyone, especially with Deku and Bakugo. As the ride continued, Josuke then popped an interesting question.

"So Mr. Roses, has Jotaro mentioned anything about the disappearances today?"

"Unfortunately, I haven't been told much," he responded, "but there were a few things I overheard."

"What are they?" Deku inquired.

"They believed that DIO is kidnapping people to form a small army, something about some sort of Grand Entrance"

"Grand Entrance?"

"It makes sense," Bakugo butted into the conversation, "Only the four of us, and I'm guessing the staff in the school, know about his existence."

"They also think he plans not on controlling them using Soul Possession," Roses continued, "or flesh buds, but something which harkens back to his days of old."

"Days of old?" Deku asked once more.

"You'll find out soon enough… Roses said, and as he turned the street corner, he came to a stop and announced to the group, "We're here!"

The building was still as shiny as ever, and some Heroes were standing outside, Jotaro among them.

"Looks like he's talking with other Pro Heroes from outside the Agency," Josuke spoke, "Probably letting them know of what will happen tonight."

The doors to the car opened, and the boys exited out, suitcases gripped in their hand. They walked up to Jotaro, one of his hands in his coat pocket, while another he was using for gestures. When the other Hero walked away, he turned his attention to the students and gave them a lukewarm welcome.

"Ah, look who decided to show up."

"Well it's not like we had a choice," Bakugo snarkily replied.

"Well, you're gonna see soon enough. Follow me." and the five of them walked calmly into the doors, as the final puzzle pieces of the Grand Entrance began to fall into place.
