Ch. 10
Outside Class 1-A Dorms
Although Midnight found herself being held hostage in the hands of a hungry Vampire, she remained relatively calm, although her face was stricken with a slight sense of shock. It was too chaotic for anyone to do anything to free Midnight from the vampire's grasp.
The Vampire let out a sinister cackle before continuing, "No, a Vampire is the quickest way out for you… Oh! You would make a great concubine for Lord DIO! Another one of his lovers!" He returned to his wicked chortles before he felt something wrapping around his neck, restricting his airpipe. When he looked down, it appeared to be a fine, red scarf that was choking him. And he turned his to see from whose head the scarf was comfortably sitting.
"She will be doing no such thing," this scarf bearer called out. The scarf began to show signs of an orange energy coursing through it. The energy from the sarf began to wrap around the Vampire, thoroughly reducing the creature to ash.
Freed from the Vampires grasp, Midnight turned around to take a look at your savior. The scarf wrapped comfortably around the neck of a tall, gorgeous woman, wearing black shades over her eyes. Even without the bright, red high heels she adorned, she was a tall beauty. She wore long, black pantyhose, which met with a black small skirt. The dark, strapless shirt she wore exposed her shoulders, but covered the area between them and her elbows. She also had black gloves on her hands which nearly went up to her shoulders, as well as some golden, raindrop-shaped earrings. Her raven-black hair flowed down, as she pulled off her glasses to reveal her sparkling blue eyes.
"Seems I helped you out of a tough situation," the woman spoke.
"Yeah, you did," Midnight spoke. As she took a better look at the figure, she resumed, "You're one of the new Heroes at the Joestar Agency, right?"
"That would be right," she responded, "I'm the Aja Hero:-"
"Lisa Lisa!" someone yelled out from a distance. It was Joseph, running towards her in excitement.
"That was very cool!" Joseph exclaimed towards her, "You pulled that off no hassle!"
Lisa Lisa smiled for a bit while he was ranting, before that smile turned into a look of displeasure. As soon as he was done babbling on, she gave him a swift karate chop to the head, bonking him enough for him to scream "Doh!" and ask "What was that for?!"
"You let your breathing get out of hand, Joseph. I should not have to tell you that!"
"Well excuuuuuuuuuuse me, Princess, if the sight of Madame Midnight over there took my breath away!"
"Do you want me to put the mask back on you again?"
"No, I'll keep track of my breathing on my own!" Joseph winced at the mere thought of going through that whole mask ordeal."
"Excuse me, Lisa Lisa," Momo interrupted, "What do you mean by 'controlling his breathing'?"
"Oh, I suppose I should explain then," Lisa Lisa spoke, "Our Quirks, which use Hamon, allow us to harness energy that is as powerful as the Sun's. In order to properly execute the technique, we have to regulate our breathing, otherwise it won't work."
"So you and Joseph both use Hamon," Momo spoke, "Does that mean you two are related somehow?" She was channeling some of Todoroki's inquisitive energy.
"Of course not!" Joseph rebuked quickly, "The only relation is that Lisa Lisa is my teacher! Although…" he took on a tone of smugness, "If Midnight here rejects my offer, I can always extend it to-"
"Not. Happening." Lisa Lisa shut down Joseph's operation quickly, before turning her attention back to Momo, "If I may be honest, Hamon is moreso a technique rather than a Quirk. Anyone can learn it, but it requires rigorous training. Not to mention, a Hamon user can channel the energy in different ways. Like you saw, I use a scarf, while Ceasar uses bubbles to channel his. And Joseph...just uses whatever he pulls out of his pockets."
Again Joseph was taken aback, "HEY! When you put it like that it sounds like I suck!"
"Well Little Miss Creati over here," Midnight spoke, "Can make a variety of objects to suit whatever you need to fight."
"O-Oh, right!" Momo flustered at the sudden recommendation before returning to her serious tone. "My Quirk allows me to create non-living products, so long as I know their chemical composition. Please let me know if I can help in any way!" She bowed as a sign of respect.
"Thank you for the offer, Creati," Lisa Lisa smiled and patted her on the back as Momo rose from her bow, "Now, we have to worry about the rest of the zombies on this campus. Luckily, some extra help came in." She pointed in the direction of Class 1-B's dorms, where some of the new Heroes had earlier made their appearance.
Outside Class 1-B Dorms
"Aren't you Mr. Avdol?"
"YES I AM!" Abdol shouted with enthusiasm.
"We got word of an attack on UA by the zombies," Avdol continued at his normal voice level, "So the Joestar Agency set a few Heroes to help deal with the threat."
"Well that's great and all," Tetsutetsu yelled, punching one of the leftover creatures in the face, "but where are they?"
"Well, four are already on campus, one's one his way, and the Calvary is heading to other sides of campus."
"The Calvary?" Pony questioned.
"That's the codename for two of our Heroes who ride on horseback."
"Quit your yappin, Avdol!" a figure called from behind, "There's a whole lot more of these things you know!"
Avdol turned his head to find none other than Polnareff face-to-face with a few Zombies. He had the pose of a fencer, ready to duel with his enemies. But he did not duel them alone. Rather it was the metallic, tall, silver Stand, dressed in armor, that did most of the fighting. In its right hand was a long and pointy foil, which depending on one's visage point, covered its right hand. Its chest plates buffed its appearance, while the helmet with a shining blue jewel in its center complemented its bright, yellow and blue eyes.
"SILVER CHARIOT!" Polnareff yelled as his Stand began stabbing and poking at the nearby Zombies. While some were weak to the point where Silver Chariot could slice them into small chunks, others had features such as hard skin which made it difficult for Polnareff to even pierce them.
"Dammit!" Polnareff yelled, "I can't even cut through some of them!"
"Here, let me help," Avdol responded to his friend's plea, as he turned his body, and assumed a pose that involved his thumb, index, and middle fingers upright, but slightly curled in.
"MAGICIAN'S RED!" around Avdol's body a fiery red energy began to swirl. Flames kindled and swirled around him as they coalesced into a certain form, as the legs of the Stand. Its body waist up was laid bare and well toned. It had skin that was a very light red, while its head was a very darker shade. But that's where its human physique ended, as its head shaped like that of a bird, with its large, yellow beak.
"CROSSFIRE HURRICANE!"
Avdol's Stand let out a screeching caw, before some of the flames wrapped around his hands began to flare up, allowing him to release a line of flames at the horde of Zombies closing in on Polnareff. Like the previous wave, the Zombies began to melt away, the fire eroding their undead flesh like water to a rock. But the flames seemed to have missed Polnareff completely, as if Avdol could manipulate the fire's trajectory...except for one small cinder coming into contact with Polnareff's buttocks.
Polnareff yipped in pain, almost as if he was in the air for a few seconds, before returning to the ground and yelling, "Hey Avdol! What was that for?!"
Avdol let out a big laugh, before returning to his normal tone, "Come now Polnareff! Lighten up a little!" Most of the other Class B students were not afraid to join in on the laughter. Even Vlad King got in on it, as he was walking up to greet Avdol.
"I have to thank you Avdol," he continued moving his hand out to shake his ally's, "We would have been crushed by the amount of enemies if you and Polnareff hadn't shown up."
"Your thanks are appreciated," Avdol spoke, reaching his hand to meet the teacher's, "But there is still work that needs to be done. Polnareff, call Jotaro and let him know of the situation."
"Right!" Polnareff said, pulling a smartphone out of one of the small sacks around his waist.
"Furthermore," he turned his attention back to the students, "UA isn't the only place dealing with these Zombies. They've flooded the city streets. Many Heroes inside and outside of our Agency are taking care of them, but we don't know how many of these things are coming."
"I see," Vlad King said in understanding of Avdol's briefing.
"Hey Avdol!" Polnareff called as he made his way towards his friend, "It's for you." Polnareff handed the phone to Avdol, who picked it up and spoke.
"Hello?"
"Avdol, have you taken care of the Zombies on Class 1-B's side?"
"Affirmative, Lisa Lisa. How are things looking on your end?"
"Most of the Zombies have been taken out. Is anybody injured?"
Avdol peered around in his vicinity, "Nobody yet. Are you with Class A?"
"Yes. We have the classes meet up?"
"Sounds like a good idea. Let's rendezvous outside the main building."
"Understood. We'll meet you there."
The phone hung up as Avdol handed it back to Polnareff. He turned his attention back to Vlad King. "That was Lisa Lisa who called. She's with Class A and wants us to meet up with them outside the main building."
He nodded again as he turned to his class to address them.
"Ok Class! We have to head to the main building! We'll be meeting up with Class A before we take care of the rest of the intruders on campus! Now let's go!"
The class gave an affirmation to Vlad King's orders, before heading from their dorm entrances to the main buildings.
In the midst of this brief moment of respite, there seemed to be an entity hiding on top of a nearby tree. This figure masked itself within the darkness of the night except for its two shining white canines and glowing red eyes glistening in the moonlight, yearning for the thrill of a massacre. As the figure peered out, it let out a little "wrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyy," as it fully wrapped itself in darkness and disappeared from any kind of sight.
