Chapter 2: Preparing for Christmas
Time began to fly by with every week closing. Many were getting prepared for when their families came to visit them, or at least those that were still in Littlebark. Christmas was getting closer and closer, while it began to snow more and more.
At Dade's house, his family was making many types of foods and desserts. Many of his siblings were causing a ruckus which didn't please Dade at all. "Welp, at least Jeb is coming over for the week," Dade said. "Jeb?" asked Wade, "Our big brother is weird." "He's not weird Wade!" Dade snapped, "He's just got his beliefs!"
At Kratz' house, Glenn and Mia were setting a lot up in and out of the house. Maria meanwhile looked after Winston. Kratz was working on one of his Christmas special Johnny Tornado comics. "Hopefully this becomes my best works of the year," he said. "Don't worry crutches, it'll totally not be!" Terrence laughed. Just then, he slipped and fell down the stairs. "Ugh! Why must this run in the family?!" he yelled.
At Harvey's house, Michelle was causing much chaos within the house. She was attempting to break many of the Christmas ornaments as she could. Harvey meanwhile tried to prevent it as much as he could alongside his parents. "Having a little sister sure requires a lot of work," Harvey said to himself.
In the center of Littlebark, many folks such as Piri, Hanzi, Jeremy, François, MJ, Tara, and Paul sang many Christmas songs near a giant Christmas tree. Randl and Meryl were going by them until Meryl noticed their singing. "Randl!" she said, "I wanna hear them singing!" "Ma! You can listen to the same songs at home!" Meryl put on the breaks to her wheelchair. "Ma! What are you doing?!" Randl asked in a raised voice. "We're listening to those kids sing them carols!" she replied loudly which set off an argument between them.
While everything seemed bright and cheerful in Littlebark, it was the almost opposite at this wearhouse located in the mountains of an unknown location. The Cardinal and albino Skunk alongside a bunch of other crooks were making plans and using a map of Littlebark to explain how everything should play out. "So Darryl, should we explain this to the boss?" asked the albino Skunk. "Why wouldn't we Chris?" the Cardinal responded, "If you wanna get paid for this than let's show it to him."
They all went into a meeting room where they're boss was sitting in. He was a dark gray rat who had black hair with some gray on the sides, wore a dark blue suit jacket, a black button down shirt, a white tie, and navy suit pants. "Chris and Darryl," the Rat said, "So you got an idea on how you think this should be done, yes?" "Indeed we do Mr. Erich," Chris replied, "Me, Darryl, and Pete will rob store numbers 8, 7, and 6. Mike and Julianne will rob store numbers 5 and 4. Then finally, Frank, Alan, and Belle will rob store numbers 3, 2, and 1. How do we do this you may ask? We'll take our vehicles and park them in the garages near by. When the stores close up, we'll take out the power by causing one of the power lines to fall. This'll cause the security systems to stop working and trust me, they're all old systems that run only on electricity like everywhere else in town. After that, we'll bring the vehicles to put the stuff we stole in the back. It'll be easy and don't worry, nobody will be around. Since this would be at roughly 11pm, nobody will be out. Not to mention, this would be on Christmas Eve."
After some thought, Mr. Erich gave his opinion. "Not bad I must say," he said, "Seems like a good enough plan. Although I do recommend you practice for this before the heist begins."
