Chapter 3: Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve had arrived, which only made the holiday spirit even stronger than before. Although the streets were empty, folks houses weren't. Many came to visit their families and celebrate as well as possibly staying the night. It was very cold and it snowed heavily.

At the wearhouse, Darryl, Chris, and the rest of the crooks were ready to begin their heist. Mr. Erich looked at their vehicles and looked at how his crew were ready. "Did you train for this?" "We sure did man!" Darryl said, "Now we're ready to do this thing!" "Hmm," Mr. Erich replied looking out how they were all in dark outfits, "You seem to be prepared for this. Therefore, you are clear to go do what you need to do." Everyone got into their vehicles with their robbing equipment. "One more thing though, Darryl and Chris," the rat said to the Cardinal and Albino Skunk, "I will know if you fail me." "Uhh...yes sir," Chris said unsure how else to respond.

11pm

Harvey, Fee, and Foo were on their way to their homes after a snowball fight rematch. "That sure was fun, right guys?" asked Harvey. "Maybe if Princess wasn't being such a dingus than maybe it would've been more fun," Fee replied. "I ate as many snowballs as I could this time," added Foo. As they were walking home, they saw 3 vehicles go by them. "That's weird," Harvey said, "Nobody drives here at this hour that often."

The trio didn't know it was Chris, Darryl, and the rest of the crooks going down to the center of Littlebark. The crooks soon pulled into the side walks of the stores. One member quickly got an axe and started hitting a wooden telephone pole with it. In a matter of a minutes, the telephone pole fell and the power went out.

"What the heck?" asked Harvey. "Hehehe," Foo laughed, "It went dark." They soon were coming around a corner and saw what had happened. "Someone knocked down that power line," Harvey said, "And what's with all those cars down there?" It soon hit them with the fact that there was a heist going on at the 9 stores down from where they were walking.
