Disclaimer: I DO NOT own any of these characters whatsoever, this is merely for entertainment purposes for me and/or anyone else that's reading this.
Author's Notes: I might be changing a few things about Tom Holland's Spider-Man character and this is my first fanfiction, so it probably won't be the best thing I make in the future.
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoy this Fan-Made alternate future.
Chapter 5: Breakfast Meeting and a lead
The next morning, Peter Parker and George Stacy were at a diner, getting some eggs and bacon, with coffee and chocolate milk.
"I didn't think you were the type of Police Officer to like old school diners." Said Peter.
"Me and my daughter love this place, we usually come here to vent or during a special occasion."
"Gwen Stacy, right?"
"You know her?"
"We've met across the halls, but nothing more than that," Peter said as he took the last bite of his bacon, finishing it. "So, how did you find out about me?"
"Some guys in my precinct used to work for Shield, so they're some crafty detectives," Captain Stacy said as he ate more of his eggs. "So, did HE say anything about why I'm waiting to recruit you?"
"Steve told me that you want to use me for political reasons." Peter said to the cop.
"He's wrong about that part," Captain Stacy said as he finished his coffee. "I think you can help get the Sokovia Accords off everybody's minds and you and I both know that it's needed more than ever."
"Sir, as much as I want to get rid of those stupid Accords, I'm just trying to be every's Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man sir."
"And yet, you went to Germany to fight and interact with the Avengers."
"I had no choice on that matter and Stark was blackmailing me at the time...soooo yeah," Peter said as a 16-year-old Waitress with Platinum blond hair with crystal blue eyes came to their table and handed them the bill.
"How was everything boy's?" Said the lady.
"Everything was great Miss" Captain Stacy said as he signed the bill and gave her his credit card and cleared the table of every dish and cup.
"Oh wait," Peter said as he handed the young lady a 20 dollar bill.
The young lady looked at the bill, smiled and placed it in her pocket, and said to Peter, "I forgot cute guys existed until you came along."
She then gave him a wink and walked off to the kitchen. Peter finally got over his blush and Captain Stacy said with a grin, "Sorry, Felicia flirts with a lot of guys. Anyway, I know you help people as Spider-Man," He said as he lowered his voice when he said the name. "But don't you also want Peter Parker to have a life as well, without you worrying about being hunted down by Stark, only because you are doing the right thing, don't you want that for your Aunt?"
Peter sat in silence for a moment, knowing two things; The first thing is that this conversation kinda reminded him of when Stark was trying to manipulate him to be on his side, but the second thing was that he knew that Captain Stacy was right about everything, but Pete also knew if this was going to work, then he needed to be more careful to not put Aunt May or Captain America in danger.
He finally found his courage and spoke, "If I'm going to do this, then I'm going to need help on "The ATM Robbery" case with the copycat Avengers."
Captain Stacy paused for a second before saying, "Put your best suit on and meet me at the Precinct under the cover of darkness at 9:30...tonight."
The star-filled sky shined bright under the Precinct that Captain Stacy worked and he was seen at the top of the building, drinking a cup of coffee. He then saw the Web-Slinger climb up the building and on the roof with him wearing his nightly time suit, the same one that he wore when he fought Iron Man during the ATM robbery, but it had many tears in it and the mask was replaced with a black spray-painted one with white glass eye lenses.
"When I told you to wear your best suit, I meant to wear one that's NOT torn up." Captain Stacy reminded him.
"Sorry, I'm just really attached to this suit," Peter informed him. "So, you said that you have a lead on the ATM robber's weapons?"
"I highly judge that you are asking a kid for help Stacy!" They both heard a female voice yell from the elevator doorway. The voice came from a Japanese-American woman with chin-length black hair and an athletic build. She is seen wearing a black leather jacket over a red and black flannel shirt with tight dark denim jeans and black shoes, with a gun holster on her and inside it was a pistol. She walked up to Captain Stacy and she said, "He's just a liability."
"Yui, we have weapons on the street that came from the same freaks that almost blew up New York 5 years ago and people like Stark and General Ross aren't doing anything to prevent it!"
"And that gives up the right to let an inexperienced child catch these dealers?"
"We have no other choice on the matter, if The Avengers aren't going to do anything to help this city, then we need to take smart yet calculated risks to prevent people from getting hurt!"
Yui was going to say something else, but she knew how to stubborn Captain Stacy was and was not going to let down, so she instead said, "If this backfires, then you're going to lose your job."
"I won't and this will work because it has to," He then turned to Spider-Man and said, "Sorry about that, we'll be sure to find you a new suit."
Spider-Man lowered his head in sadness, knowing that the Police Officer named Yui was right. Peter knew he wasn't ready to go up against stuff like this, but he had no choice in the matter because if he didn't get involved, people were going to get hurt...or worse.
