Okay, I know it's May, but due to the timeline of the fic, it is Christmas. So don't think I'm one of those Christmas crazy people that is either thinking too far ahead or not letting go. Trust me. I'm more of a Halloween person.

On top of that, I'd like to apologize for taking so long to update.

Anyway, enjoy the chap. This one's gonna be nice and fluffy.

Minoru slowly opened his eyes. He face was still pressed against Mezo's chest. The latter still had his arms wrapped around his small frame. The taller male was fast asleep.

What time is it? Minoru wondered. He lifted his head up enough to see the face clock mounted on Mezo's wall. It was a little after seven. Still kinda early ... what's the date? He turned his attention to the calendar.

His eyes widened in surprise.

It's Christmas?! ALREADY?! Minoru thought in shock. In all the chaos, he had completely lost track of the date.

Christmas at his house was always treated like a normal day. The most that would happen is that Minoru would get a new set of clothes from his mom and some sort of sexy figurine or poster from his father. It was never pornographic, but he still never liked the gifts his father had given him, but he always just smiled and nodded. He knew what the consequences would be if he refused such an unfitting gift. However, he did like the clothes his mother got were always comfortable and gentle against any wounds he got from beatings.

Mom... Minoru sadly thought, thinking about how he had found her. She didn't deserve that. I know she wouldn't have accepted me, but she still would have at least treated me better than he did. She was always there for me when no one else was.

He tried to shake the thought from his head. Get it together. It's Christmas! You're not spending it there! You're spending it here with Shoji- he cut his thought off when he remembered the events from last night. No. MEZO. On top of that, that fucking bastard is getting arrested, so consider this the best Christmas ever.

At this moment, Mezo stirred and slowly opened his eyes to see Minoru still cuddled closely to him. "Good morning," he said softly.

Minoru looked up at him. "Morning."

"How was the rest of your sleep? Good?" Mezo asked.

Minoru nodded. "Yeah. It was dreamless, but I'd prefer that over what I got beforehand."

"Well, I'm glad you got a good rest. You need it."

"Oh! Merry Christmas, by the way."

"It's Christmas already?" Mezo asked.

"I know. Crazy, right?" Minoru chuckled.

"Well, Merry Christmas, Minoru."

The two boys climbed out of bed and went to get changed into something warmer.

Mezo started taking off his tank top with his back turned to Minoru. The smaller boy took notice of this and quickly turned around, blushing fiercely. That was close! I don't need to see that much of him exposed.

Not now, anyway.

He mentally slapped himself for thinking such a thing. Ever since he promised to stop perving on the girls, he decided to stop perving on everyone.

I should only be thinking like that if we ever get together! And we're not, so cut it out, Minoru!

He decided to focus on getting himself changed. He didn't bring anything Christmas themed, so he just threw on a red hoodie he brought with black sweatpants.

He turned to see that Mezo had put on a red and green plaid poncho with plain jeans.

"Let's head downstairs. Breakfast should be ready soon," Mezo said.

Minoru nodded in response and the two headed downstairs.

"Merry Christmas, boys!" Mrs. Shoji said when they came downstairs.

"Merry Christmas, Mom," Mezo replied.

"Merry Christmas!" Minoru said.

Breakfast proceeded as usual and then it was time for gifts.

"We're minimalists in this household. We don't usually do as many gifts as other households," Mezo explained when his mom left the room.

"Same here. They were never that great. Just clothes and stuff I didn't even want," Minoru replied. "I honestly feel bad I have nothing to offer."

"Don't worry about it," Mezo assured. "Your safety is a good enough gift for me."

"Really?" Minoru asked with a smile.

Mezo felt his heart melt. "Yes."

Mrs. Shoji had returned with Mezo's gift. Mezo pulled it from the bag. It was a knitted blanket that had a blue, gray, and purple gradient.

"Figured you could use a new blanket," Mrs. Shoji explained.

Mezo wrapped himself in it. "It's nice and soft. Thanks, Mom!"

"You're welcome, sweetie," Mrs. Shoji said with a soft smile.

"Here, let me get you my gift for you," Mezo said.

Minoru watched as Mezo handed his mom his gift. She unwrapped out to find a silver Christmas themed necklace.

"Aw, Mezo, it's beautiful!" she gasped as she put it on. "Thank you!"

"You're welcome, Mom!" Mezo said with a smile. It was quite a bright smile, despite being covered by a mask.

Adorable! Minoru thought to himself. Actually ... now that I think about it ... what DOES he look like behind that mask? I know it isn't my business and he's probably uncomfortable with it, but ... I still can't help but wonder.

After that, the three of them decided to watch some Christmas movies, starting with A Christmas Story.

Minoru spent the whole film curled up on the couch next to Mezo. The taller boy had an arm wrapped around him. Both boys were blushing, but neither of them had noticed.

However, Mrs. Shoji did and she lightly chuckled to herself. Any time now, those two will figure it out.

During the second movie - Elf - Minoru felt his phone buzz.

Pikachu: Merry Christmas, bro!

Grape Boi: Merry Christmas, Kami!

Pikachu: So ... did ya get that mistletoe as a gift? ;)

Grape Boi: KAMI NO CDSSDGHKPNHFSA

Pikachu: Relax, I'm just teasing you

Grape Boi: G O O D

After a while, the boys started watching Die Hard while Mrs. Shoji got to work on making dinner.

About half-way through the movie, Minoru's phone buzzes again.

Only this time, it wasn't Kaminari.

"Mezo, it's Aizawa!"

Mezo immediately paused the movie. "What is it? Did they find him?"

"Don't know! I'm gonna find out!" Minoru eagerly opened his phone to see what the message was.

Caterpillar Man: We got to your house toarrest your dad. We found him stuck to the floor by the wrist. We take it that was your doing?

Grape Boi: Yes, sir. It was.

Caterpillar Man: Well, we appreciate it. Made him easier to catch. I'm also sorry about your mom.

Grape Boi: Oh ... don't worry about it

Caterpillar Man: Well, the good news is that we got your dad arrested. We're taking him to prison as we speak. He can't get to you anymore.

Grape Boi: Thank you so much! This is the greatest Christmas gift ever!

Caterpillar Man: You're welcome. Merry Christmas, Mineta.

Grape Boi: Merry Christmas, Mr. Aizawa.

Mezo had read the whole conversation over Minoru's shoulder. "That's great news!"

"It is! It really is! I can't believe I'm finally free of him!" Minoru said excitedly.

"I'm really happy for you!" Mezo said.

"Thanks, Mezo. I'd probably be dead right now if it weren't for you," Minoru said. "I literally can not thank you enough."

"It's my pleasure, Minoru. I told you I'd help you!" Mezo said.

They continued to watch movies and cuddle on the couch. Then the night got capped off with a delicious dinner followed by mugs of cocoa and watching a fire flicker in the fireplace. The two boys cuddles in it, wrapped in the blanket Mezo got.

Today could not have been more perfect. I spent it cuddling my crush, my dad's on his way to prison, today was just perfect! Minoru thought to himself. I was right this morning. This truly IS the best Christmas ever.
