"Well, seeing as everyone is here, we should get into it," Nate said, realizing that he couldn't put off the inevitable any longer. "Please, take a seat." Thankful that Shelly had arrived and hoped the man could keep Eliot out of it as much as possible. He watched his team and client sit down on various surfaces around the room, all looking up at him with expectant faces.

"So, the plan is to infiltrate Harris Studios so that we can locate not only Cat's contract but also her song portfolio. In order to do this, Sophie is going to pose as the long-lost daughter of Country music's great Grace Pearl Canely. She is a well-known recluse, and not a lot is publicly known about her private life. Hardison, I need you to create a new identity for Sophie," Nate said as he reclined against the arm of an armchair, newspaper in hand.

"How exactly do you expect me to do that? I have no idea who this woman is," Hardison asked, looking annoyed at having nothing to go on. It was one thing to create a alias about someone that was not known but to create one from someone that actually existed was a hell of a lot harder.

"You haven't heard of Grace Pearl?" Shelly, Eliot, and Cat said at the same time, looking at the tech in shock. Raised in the country she was a staple in most family's house hold.

"She's only one of the Nashville Greats. Grace Pearl was a living legend, though there was some speculation that she ended up in rehab back in '63. After that, she made few radio appearances, and her last album was a massive hit. Are we sure this will work, Nate?" Shelly asked, looking at the mastermind anxiously. Cat looked like she wanted to storm into her record label and raise hell.

"She died in '75. She was flying from Tennessee to Texas for a charity concert when the plane went down. Grace Pearl left behind a seventeen-year-old daughter, who inherited her mother's estate and publishing rights," Nate explained, waving away Shelly's concerns. He knew that no one had ever seen the daughter so someone could easily impersonate her as no one knew anything about her at all.

"When will you approach him?" Cat asked, she moved to a more relaxed sitting position with Eliot's help. Maybe she could help in a way. If she could get a hold of Trey.

"Next Friday," Nate said. "He gets coffee at the shop just down the road from the studio."

"But how?" Cat asked. "Are you just going to walk up to him and say hey?" she sounded doubtful. Would it be that easy she knew Derek was a suspicous person she also knew that he was obsessed with Grace Pearl's music. The singers picture was plastered all over his office from what Trey had told her.

Nate nodded his head from side to side. "More or less. Everything I've learned about him draws a pretty clear picture of a man who'd do anything to be accepted in Nashville."

Cat sighed softly. She could see that for sure. Derick had always had this air of someone who thought he was better than his current situation, but that wasn't her primary concern. "No one will get hurt, right?" He thoughts going to Eliot and Shelly they were all she had and she didn't want them risking their lives for her no matter how much Eliot stated it was their job.

"No one besides him." Eliot answered for Nate.

She held the hitter's gaze for a moment. She wasn't at all sure, but she let her worries go for now. "Hardison, need any help?" Cat replied, looking at the tech as she struggled to get up out of her chair before hopping over to him. The Hacker held out a hand to help her sit back in the chair by him..

Hardison looked at her before starting to follow the information she was giving him about the legendary singer. With what she gave him he should be able to find and build an alias for Sophie.

Eliot watched her give the information to Hardison though it annoyed him that she was even involved with this, at least giving him the information is one way she couldn't get hurt and keep her hopefully out of trouble. She might be hurt and recovering but she was never one to just sit around and do nothing. She could help find out about Grace. Hell, Tommy, Cat, and he had grown up listening to her records with Cat's parents. If anyone knew about Grace, it was Cat. He sighed as he went back to listening to what he would need to do while keeping an eye on Catherine.

Friday quickly came around, and Eliot found Cat sat at the breakfast bar scribbling on pieces of scrap paper. "Hey, kid. What are you working on?" Eliot asked as he moved around to get some orange juice out of the fridge.

"I'm writing music," Cat said, merely raising her head to look at him, cringing when he drank straight from the bottle. When he and Tommy used to do that, her mom would swat them with a wooden spoon causing the two to laugh. She shook her head. Old habits die hard, she guessed. She went back to writing on the paper. She wanted to make sure they looked right.

"Can I see?" Eliot asked, eyes lighting up in the excitement that Cat was back doing what she loved despite her accident. He thought after getting injured though it was only a couple of days ago, would stop her, but then she was always stubborn, and he was glad she still had that spark in her eyes. He knew whatever she wrote would be good.

"They're for the con. Nate asked me to write some music in Grace Pearl's style. What do you think?" Cat replied, ignoring the small frown that appeared between Eliot's brows as she slid the pages towards him. She sat nibbling on her bottom lip as he scanned the series of notes in the traditional Nashville style, humming under his breath.

"These are incredible, Cat. Derek will jump at these." He knew she had talent and these small songs just proved that right there

She arched an eyebrow, completely uncertain that was the truth, but then Eliot was never one to just tell her something if he didn't mean it. "Thank you, El," Cat leaned across to kiss his cheek affectionately. She looked at the papers. "Do you think Alec can make these look older than they are? If they look this new, he's not going to fall for it…." She looked at Eliot, who just stared at her. "What?"

"I don't like this, Cat. These guys are dangerous," Eliot said bluntly, looking pained at the reality of her situation. "if they put two and two together." Nate had assured Eliot they could keep Derek and Frank from recognizing Cats style, but it could take just one slip up and it could all come crumbling down.

"I've only met Derek a couple of times. Trey usually deals with him." She mentioned her agent, who she hadn't been able to get a hold of yet. That caused her a bit of worry. "Now, Frank is the one I have to deal with. He can be okay, even if he was a bit handsy," Cat said with a grimace as she recalled her last meeting with the producer in the studio. She giggled at the murderous look in Eliot's eyes that she remembered from the first time she told him she had a boyfriend. It hadn't lasted long because she found out that Eliot had threatened to castrate him if he so much as looked in her direction again. Shelly wasn't any better, and they both got their asses handed to them by Aimee when she found out. "You wanna help me make these more Grace Pearl when I'm done?"
