A/N)This was an intense Chapter to write.

Sorry for the unexpected Hiatus, things went a little side ways in the real world.

Unfortunately, it's going upside down for the boys in their world.

I'm sorry :(

Motivation is your Superpower.

Boomer doesn't know what happens first.

Buttercup collapsing, Bubbles screaming or the entire Haven dwellers exploding in motion and shouts.

Everything goes crazy – Boomer can't keep his eyes in one spot, his head swims from the motion, people run and spread everywhere, panic is evident in the air.

Blossom grabs her shaking sister fiercely. "How far?!"

"I – I-"

"Dammit Buttercup, how far!"

"Less than eighty miles west."

That's all Boomer heard before Blossom runs to the tent in a jolt of horror. He panics- everyone panics. He doesn't know where Brick is – someone's started screaming –is that Butch? Bubbles gasps and grabs his arm and drags him towards the tent.

Boomer feels like something is pulling up at his head – taking it off his shoulders and he's barely keeping his feet on the ground. His mouth is dry, brain numb – he can't think anymore, as his eyes bounce around frantically.

"What's happened!"? Bubbles cries when she bursts into the tent.

Boomer freezes. Butch and Mitch are screaming again, Butch more with sobs, weaker but still terrible, people are cursing outside, footsteps thumping on the ground, Boomer's heart thuds in his throat, choking him.

"- less than two days max – they're faster – " Blossom's voice goes in and out of his head as he stands there, unable to compute what's happening around him.

"Get the sedative!" Professor shouts, throwing things around desperately. Brick joins him, eyes red and wild, mask breaking every second.

"There isn't anymore!" Blossom wails, all the sounds and voices are dull, like he's hearing them from far away through a wall or something.

They won't stop screaming.

"Dammit, we have to stop him."

Stop screaming.

"Professor!"

Please stop -

"Hold on Blossom, let me – "

Boomer gasps, Professor curses and trips into him, the blond boy doesn't move in time.

"Professor!" Blossom and Bubbles screech at the same time.

Boomer groans, he doesn't feel the pain when his head hits the ground.

"Boomer – Boomer what the hell did you just do?!" Brick grabs him by the arm and yanks him up.

Mitch and Butch are still screaming.

"No – no – no – " Professor's eyes are wide, hands grasping at the broken tubes of red liquid spreading all over his desk and microscope thing. "That was – the last of Butch's blood – and yours, I don't have any more equipment to – "

"Oh no." Bubbles whimpers when Professor covers his face.

Shouts are heard.

"Professor! We need you to check on the supplies!" Someone bellows outside.

Professor stares at the growing puddle of blood before him like all his hope is gone in that puddle, the liquid is also black in the dimly lit space – they're still screaming.

"Sir?"

Professor jolts, as if someone's slapped him and stands abruptly. "I – am coming." Wait what? No! He rushes out, grimacing when Mitch starts gnawing at the bars. Butch is still crying. Why was he –

Boomer feels utterly sick.

Buttercup comes running in, "Bloss, why aren't you -"

"Shut up Buttercup shut up!" Blossom's voice raises a pitch so high Bubbles flinches as the red head starts flailing around in mindless circles, she's muttering something Boomer can understand.

"Cut it out Mitch!" Buttercup shouts, tears streaking her dirty face, she kicks the cage, Mitch hisses sharply.

"Stop Buttercup!" Bubbles cries. "Stop -he'll hurt you!"

"He can't do a damn thing to – "

"Stop it stop it stop it!" Bubbles screams as Buttercup kicks and kicks and kicks at the cages.

Blossom slams her hands on the desk, "Shut up, both of you!"

"You shut up!" Buttercup snaps

Bubbles bursts into tears, Butch starts convulsing.

"Oh – oh no!" Blossom gasps. Boomer stumbles his brother turns purple. "No – no – not a seizure, I don't - we can't - we aren't prepared for – " Blossom's panic stuns Boomer as she fumbles for something to stop Butch.

Bubble's cries harder.

Mitch howls.

Buttercup lets out an inhuman shriek and curse.

People run around outside. Things fall and shatter and bounce on the ground.

Brick rushes to the desk and grabs a needle randomly.

"Wait, you don't know!" Blossom cries

Brick stabs Butch with it – the whatever - empties out of it, stops the convulsions and Butch starts screaming like he's being burned alive.

Boomer turns around and throws up in the corner, hacking and choking on stomach acids that burn everything, including his eyes.

Stop – stop -please stop – He squeezes his eyes shut, and wills everything to just freeze for one damn second!

"Blossom we need – "Robin burst in and gasps, almost stepping in Boomer's puke.

"I can't help you!" Blossom screeches, pink eyes wild now.

Robin stumbles back and runs out of the tent, terrified.

Boomer stares at the horrific scene in this tent. He struggles to stand on his shaking legs, grabs the tarp and suddenly a loud tearing sound scares everyone, except Mitch and Butch, to a stop as the tarp literally rips of and Boomer goes falling out in a bundle of tarp, legs and screams.

People are still stampeding outside.

"Holy – stop, stop everything." Brick finally speaks up, "Blossom look at this. Look at it!" His voice has gone unnaturally high.

Boomer grunts, to and tears streaming down his face as he struggles out of the tarp clawing at it to see what's happened –

"What is that?"

"What the professor dropped. What Boomer made him drop."

Boomer crawls back into the tent, the place brighter from the smoggy dull rays of the red sun inside.

Mitch is starting to foam at the mouth, Butch is rolling in his cage, holding onto his head and kicking at the bars while Buttercup is trying to grab them so he won't hurt himself.

He looks at Brick, his eldest brother's hands shake as he puts something into the Machine micro thing.

"No – it can't be possible."

"I don't give a crap, give me that needle." Brick whirls around and snatches on empty syringe from the desk, Boomer watches with wide breathless eyes. Bubbles whimpers in a corner, crouched and covering her ears as she rocks on her feet.

"It'll be ok, it'll be ok, it'll be ok."

It will not. Boomer's thoughts go black as he watches Blossom grab his brothers arm roughly.

"You can't do that again Brick – you could kill him this time." She shouts over Butch's screaming.

"I have to, he's dying." Brick yanks out of her hold. "I have to – "

"No!"

"Let go, Dammit!"

"Brick we can't be sure – "

"I need to try!"

"Whatever the hell you're gonna do, do it!" Buttercup's voice cuts above all of them. She's sweaty, filthy, and looks terrifyingly deranged as she holds onto Butch's leg like her life depends on it. "Do it now!" She cries.

"No." Blossom gasps as Brick turns around, yanks Butch's arm through the bars, Butch swipes at him, scratching a mark on Brick's face, he doesn't even flinch, red eyes complete focused on the vein as he puts the needle into the infected area.

Boomer watches everything go dim – and slow – Brick jumps away, Buttercup gets kicked in the face, she bleeds, Brick stumbles, falls, almost breaks the vial. It rolls to Bubbles feet.

"Bubble – you – "

The blond girl picks up the syringe, crawls through sobs towards a foaming Mitch and stabs him in the neck. Literally, brings her arm down swiftly, eyes blazing through tears, and stabs him right in his jugular.

The needle drains –

The screaming slows.

The thrashing stops.

It turns to twitching – Then complete stillness.

Everyone's breath comes in hard gasps, sobs, or dry pants.

Boomer doesn't even realize he'd been crying – the Haven is still in full motion outside. But in here – inside this tent – everything has finally -finally stopped.

He doesn't know what they're waiting for – he knows it feels like there's a hand squeezing his heart inside, his neck hairs stand on end. What – what are we waiting for?

Blossom suddenly bursts into uncontrolled tears.

Boomer's eyes widen ten times more when Buttercup and Bubbles suddenly wrap their arms around her and huddle together, as if to hide their eldest sisters sobs from the world.

Brick's eyes drag from Butch's limp form, lips a thin grey line when he looks at Boomer.

What – what is happening? He thinks he should know -maybe he does – but his brain won't let him think it – Boomer looks at Butch.

Mitch is just as still – only worse looking. Yellow, pale, sweaty – left over foam around his mouth. Butch's veins are bulged and his wounded arm was almost a complete sickly grey at this point.

Brick kneels down, daring to move closer as the girls sob in the opposite corner together. Then Boomer sees it.

Butch – is Butch breathing? Is he – is he – He isn't. Is he. Is he! Boomer gasps, the unmoving stupor he'd been in suddenly broken and he stumbles forward, falling on hands and knees as he reaches for Butches cage bar's.

"Brick – he – he isn't – he can't be – "

Brick reaches a hand through the bars and presses two fingers at the side of Butch's neck. After a breathless moment he yanks his hand away, raises his eyes and Boomer forgets to breathe, the entire world stops and things start to spin.

"He's dead."

Um - don't kill me?

I'm sorry, really - I'll try to get the next chapter up tomorrow or Sunday since this cliff hanger sucks so much. Let me know how I did in the intense department, I know I suck at it sometimes.
