Here is the sixth chapter of the Blue Wolf. Will's time in Astapor has reached it end and now he makes his way for Yunkai. He's got the numbers, experience, and battlefield strategy to win but it's not going to be exactly like what happened in Astapor. The other Masters are just starting to realize the threat he poses and have recruited allies, allies who know the Prince's friends and have their own plans to take them down. Enjoy!

From one city to another…Challenges arise but are met in kind

295 AC: Slaver's Bay

While the main port city of Slaver's Bay was freed and enjoying its newfound freedom, the rest of the region was a different story. Yunkai and Meereen were still major slave cities but their export and selling of slaves was mainly relegated between the masters of the two cities and the caravans going through the adjoining mountains and Dothraki Sea. Will's play with the increased Astaporian navy essentially cut off any and all slave ships that ferried bought slaves from the cities of Slaver's Bay to the rest of Essos.

That didn't mean that all slavers stopped their activities in the region. The occasional brave, monetary motivated, or stupid slaver captain and his crew would try to sneak his ship through Slaver's Bay to make a transaction with Yunkai and Meereen. Unfortunately for them, the increased naval presence in Slaver's Bay made that pretty much impossible and Captain Gibb's armada had already apprehended two pirates who attempted to sneak past. Instead of calling quits, the pirates got smarter and resorted to sneaky tactics to try and sneak past. But as their enemies evolve, so did Will, his tactics, and approach.

The sun had set and gave birth to the moon, stars and pitch black of night over the land. The dark and low visibility made it the perfect time to try and sneak out of Slaver's Bay and deliver slaves to their intended buyers. There was no flicker of orange flame akin to a torch or lantern on the water, but if one was to look carefully, they'd see a bundle of light coming from across the bay. A slaver/pirate's ship convoy docked off the coast of the black cliffs between the cities Tolos and Bhorash across the bay from Astapor.

The three ships had docked by the beach with the brigs of their ships full of slaves to be taken to Volantis where they would be then taken to their sellers. The three-ship convoy consisted of about 50 armed sailors and pirates who were being paid handsomely for this transaction by the Masters of Meereen. With Will effectively cutting off Slaver's Bay from slavery, it forced the masters to pay slavers and pirates double their usual amount in order to get them to take on these assignments. The pirates and slavers had set up camp on the beach with their tents set up around campfires where the men roasted meat and drank their fill. Some of the slavers were dragging the women off the ship and onto the beach to have some fun while a few pirates stayed on the ships for watch.

The three captains of the ships were splitting up the gold they received when one of their ship hands rushed over. "Captain, we found someone spying on us!" The captains walked out of the tent and rushed over to the middle of the beach to see this spy. Unbeknownst to them and the pirates, the crashing of water on the nearby rocks acted as the perfect cover for several stealthy individuals who swam to the ships in an effort to climb up. A grappling hook was thrown up and latched onto the ships railing where one of the pirate lookouts heard the clank. He walked over and peered over the side of the ship only to get a blade to the throat and thrown down into the water. Before the other two lookouts on the other two ships could do anything, they were killed with arrows and throwing knives and slumped to the ground. No one paid them any attention since all the slavers and pirates had gathered around to see two of their own drag the spy to the center of camp by a large fire.

Said spy is none other than Iolaus who had his hands bound in front of him and his dagger taken from him. He was dragged into the camp by the pirates and thrown into the sand in front of the captains of the ship. "Who the fuck are you?"

"Greeting my compatriots. I am Iolaus of Athens and I come with glad tidings." Iolaus spoke with his usual cheerful and silver tongue.

"I don't give a fuck who you are. Who do you work for?" The captain asked.

"Oh, the bravest and strongest prince to ever exist…William the Conqueror." Iolaus answered and many of the pirates and slavers began to get nervous, even the captains. One of the captains saw one of his men dragging some of the slave women off the ship so he rushed over and slapped him upside the head.

"Put the slaves back and tell those watchers to keep an extra eye out! Now!" The captain shouted before giving his man another slap to the head.

"Fuck." The slaver begrudgingly pulled the slave girls chain and dragged them back onto the deck of the ship where they stopped by the door to the lower decks. The slaver pulled out his key ring but before he could unlock the door he was grabbed from behind and smothered.

The pirates dragged Iolaus and tied his hands and feet before stringing him up over a sharp rock that would go right up his ass if he were dropped. They tied the rope secure but one of the pirates had a torch ready to burn it. "You say you work for the Conqueror well then, where is he?" The captain asked only for Iolaus to keep his smirk.

"Oh, he's close and when he gets here, you're gonna wish you never took work from the Masters of Slaver's Bay." Iolaus threatened.

"Oh, is that so?" The captain asked as his goon put the torch close to the rope which made Iolaus a little nervous. "You know what I think? I think you're talking out of your ass."

"Joke all you want but he's coming. And be warned, he despises pirates and slavers." Iolaus warned him.

"Slaver's Bay has been good to us in the past. Generations of slavers and pirates have worked these waters for the masters, and it wasn't until that bastard Westerosi showed up that things went to shit. He thinks he can change things, but he won't last much longer. They've got plenty of surprises in store for him. Which means he won't be around to stop us." The captain taunted as his goon lit the end of the rope that was keeping Iolaus suspended in the air. Once he saw it was lit, he began to struggle to get free.

"The more you struggle, the faster you drop."

Iolaus tried to rip his hands free of the rope when he saw a hooded figure down by the water, obscured by the darkness and moonlight but the outline of a quiver and sword on the waist gave him all he need to know. "Many slavers and pirates thought as you did only for their bones to be buried in this earth. Struck down by the Conqueror who he himself toppled a demigod. And if you wonder what he will do to you and your men, why don't you just ask him."

The captains turned and saw the hooded figure by the water who soon stepped forward so the faint flicker of the campfires illuminated his image to reveal a figure with a Westerosi sword on his waist, armored gauntlets on his fists, and a quiver and bow on his back with a dark blue hood and facemask covering his face. "Kill you all and feed your bodies to the sharks!" Will shouted so they could hear him. "They could use something to eat. Either that or burn them."

"William the Conqueror." The captain sneered as all the pirates and slavers readied their weapons.

"Is that all the men you brought with you?" Will asked. "You should have brought more."

"There's over fifty of us and only one of you." The captain told him.

"But I will give you all this one chances to surrender peacefully. Do so now…or die. It makes no difference to me." The prince warned only for none of the pirates to take the deal.

"Make him bleed." The captain said as one of the pirates who had stayed in the back of the group aimed his crossbow at the prince. He had him in his sights and the bolt would go right into his chest but before he could fire, a throwing knife lodged itself into his heart. Everyone looked as the pirate slumped to knees at the knife in his chest only for another one to hit him in the throat, causing a torrent of blood to leak out and ending his life. They looked and saw it was the prince who threw those knives.

"Ha, easiest kill from such a distance. Still think you're a match for the Conqueror?" Iolaus wondered.

"Bring me his head!" the Captain shouted as all his men roared and charged forward.

"Time to go to work." Will said as he threw down two pouches into the sand that exploded into a cloud of thick grey smoke, making him disappear from sight. The twang of a bow was heard as two arrows landed in one of the campfires and exploded into more smoke, covering the entire beach in a thick cloud that rendered sight nearly impossible. The pirate's eagerness and arrogance began to slip as they quieted down to try and find their target.

Two of the pirates armed with spears moved slowly and quietly as they tried to get a clear line of sight on the prince, but the smoke was too thick. They took a few steps forward only to get grabbed from behind and pulled into the smoke where the only sound heard was a wet squish and thump of a heavy object. Three pirates made their way through the smoke, readying their swords as they stayed close together only for the shinng sound of two blades to be heard. Before they could even see their enemy, their throats were slit, and their bodies stained the sand red. Two more pirates ran through the smoke only for one of them to get a sword in the gut and another to get his head sliced off. Four more pirates were riddled with throwing knives, two were taken out by arrows to the chest and neck, one got a spear to the head, five were taken down in quick success by axes while another got his arm and leg sliced off before his head was parted from his body.

The captains and about seven of their men who stayed behind near Iolaus out of the smoke could only hear the sounds of pain and death in the thick cloud. Soon enough, the smoke began to clear and what they saw shocked them to their core. The bodies of their 40 companions stained the sand red with blood as none of them were alive. Some had arrows or knives in their bodies while others had their necks slit. A few even had their heads bashed in. It was truly a brutal sight and standing in the same spot as they saw him before was the Prince with no scratch or injury on him. Not so much as a drop of blood on his jacket.

The captain and other pirates were scared as to what just happened. 40 of their compatriots were killed and yet the prince stood as if nothing happened. "Like I said…you should have brought more." The prince told them.

"Still think you're a match for the conqueror?" Iolaus wondered as the head captain looked at his men who were too scared to move.

"What are you idiots standing around for?! Kill him!" He shouted.

William walked forward to go free Iolaus as one of the pirates unsheathed his sword and charged with a battle cry. Once he was close enough, the prince unsheathed Storm's Wrath and sliced the pirate at the waist. The pirate stumbled forward a few more steps before he dropped his sword and fell to the ground with a thud. Will's slash nearly cut the man in half with the sharpness of the Valyrian steel likely having cut the bone like a hot knife through fat. Another pirate rushed forward and brought his heavy axe down only for the prince to sidestep his attack. He slammed his pommel into the pirate's throat, causing him to grab his throat and gasp for breath before he got a sword through his back.

The prince continued walking forward as the remaining five man all charged at once to kill him but once they were close, the prince just killed them all with one wide slash. While it would seem that his one swing had killed them all at once, in actuality, you'd see small knives having hit them in the chest or neck but with the darkness of the night and the captains being far away they didn't know. That was the last straw as the three captains knew they were screwed.

Iolaus smiled, seeing their plan come to fruition but then saw the rope holding him up was nearly burnt through. "My prince! Hurry! The rope is almost gone! Hurry!" Iolaus shouted as Will walked forward, past the captains who cowered in fear, but he paid them no mind. Will just pushed Iolaus back as the rope finally snapped and dropped him to the ground with the spikey rock in between his legs. It was scary but he was alive with nothing damaged. "AH! Any longer, my prince and—"

"And I would have freed every woman from your advancements but no worry." Will assured him before he decapitated two of the captains leaving the third as the sole survivor. He grabbed him by the shirt and held his bloody sword at his face. "You live tonight not because of mercy but because you will do something for me."

"Anything. Anything you want, your grace!" The pirate begged as Will pulled him close.

"You will go to Volantis and tell all who will hear what happened tonight. Tell them all what should happen if any pirate or slaver gets any ideas about trying to sneak into Slaver's Bay to do business with the masters. All who travel here shall find nothing but pain and blood. Tell them that." The prince then stuck the pirate captain with a small dart coated in a very unique concoction that put him into a deep sleep. Once he was off to dreamland, Will dropped his body to the sand and removed his hood and mask. "Well, I think that went rather well."

He turned around and saw Ser Arthur Dayne, Hundred Eyes, Hercules, Autolycus, Atalanta, Tydeus, Amphiaraus, Lord Dondarrion, Thoros of Myr, Harion Karstark, Smalljon Umber, Garlan Tyrell and a few assorted men-at-arms dressed in dark clothes and their weapons stained with blood.

"I believe it did." Ser Arthur added.

"Rather bit a fun." Autolycus commented as they got to work on piling up the bodies to burn.

Thoros led a group onto the three ships to free the captured slaves and get them ready to sail along with organizing all goods on the ship. Will and the others piled up the bodies after taking their weapons and anything of value like coin or other miscellaneous items. They scavenged a couple of compasses, telescopes and navigational charts along with correspondence letters and scrolls between the masters and people in Volantis. At least they knew the names of the people they were up against.

Will dragged a body through the sand and piled it with the others after removing everything he could. He saw Hercules bringing over more bodies while Thoros and Lord Dondarrion helped the newly freed slaves from the ships. They were confused and concerned but once they heard who Will was and he explained the situation, they were grateful. They were safe for now.

He walked over to Ser Arthur who was talking with Garlan Tyrell. "Your grace." Garlan bowed his head.

"That's not necessary." Will told him before getting back to the matter at hand. "How's our prisoner?"

"Tied up, gagged and still asleep." Arthur answered. "We're preparing a small boat and we'll drop him off on the way back to Astapor."

"Good. Hopefully the message we send will stop any more idiots in Volantis from trying something like this again." Will commented.

"Do you actually believe that?" Arthur asked.

"No, but it'll scare the stupid ones." He replied. "You handled yourself well tonight, Garlan."

"Thank you, my prince. It's nice to put my skills to actual use but I didn't think my first battle would be this one." Garlan commented. "It's different than what I imagined."

"You'll get used to saying that on this journey." Arthur joked.

"He's right. You've been training for actual battles but to be successful here means some improvisation is necessary for success." Will said.

"Duly noted, my prince. I've heard stories and tales about your battle prowess and such but its clear the tales don't do you justice. You have a keen mind for strategy for someone as young as you are." Garlan said.

"I'm only two years younger than you, Garlan. And I'm old at heart." Will joked causing them to chuckle as they got back to work. Will and Arthur dumped another body onto the pile as they saw Autolycus counting some coin before putting them into a pouch as Atalanta walked over, carrying the arrows she recovered from the battle.

"That was fun." She commented.

"A successful night, Autolycus?" Will asked.

"Very, your grace." Autolycus put the coin pouch into his satchel. "These pirates may not have been very bright, but they were very well compensated for their feeble efforts."

"Did you see how the pirates quaked in their boots? I don't think I've ever seen anyone as scared." Iolaus joked.

"Oh, I did…when you fell to the ground and screamed like a baby." Will joked causing everyone to chuckle. "Still, the plan worked perfectly. Well done, all of you."

Hercules walked over and dumped the last of the bodies into the pile. "Oh, well compared to a Dothraki horde, pirates and slavers are child's play."

"Still, this shows that the masters aren't going to give up." Smalljon Umber said.

"I never figured they would, and it shows they can be clever. I'll have Mr. Gibbs increase patrols in the bay but still…good work everyone." Will said as he grabbed a lit log from the nearby fire and tossed it onto the pile where the bodies began to burn. "Get some rest tonight. Tomorrow…we start the march to Yunkai."

Line Break xxxxx

Astapor

The celebration of Astapor had come and gone quickly but it was a riotous affair. Mornings and early afternoons were spent on the games and contest while the evenings were reserved for the feasts and drinking. It was all in good fun although on occasion there were a few people who had one too many and were detained to sober up…Tyrion included but no serious infractions occurred. The celebration was good for the people and gave all of them a catharsis. With the celebration now over, people were resuming their regular lives, but the memories were still fresh. Young children watched as sculptors finished inscribing the names of the three victors of each of the games onto the walls of the arena while busts were being made of the top victors. It was a source of great pride for the winners and inspired future challengers who dreamed to have their names honored for years to come.

In the palace, Missandei had woken up and made her way to the prince's chambers to help him get ready for the day but when she walked in, she saw the bed was empty. His clothes were gone but his swords, bow and quiver were still in their place. "Looking for the prince?" She heard and saw Hundred Eyes walk over. "I believe he is spending his last morning here training."

Will had woken up from an excellent night's sleep feeling rested and ready. And he would need it as today he and his army were going to make their way to Yunkai. They estimated they'd be able to reach the outskirts of the city within a fortnight or two considering the marching distance and bringing along some of the artillery would slow them down, but they would make it. He wasn't sure what to expect but he would be ready to adapt if necessary. So, before he left, he got in some training.

Outside of the city walls in the wilderness and hills to the southeast, Orys could be seen soaring high in the air. His feathers fluttering in the wind and the light of the sun shinning down on him, he gave out a mighty caw before swooping down low to the ground. Orys maneuvered past some rocks and bushes before flying through the densely packed cluster of trees. As Orys flew through the branches, he was joined by Will who was jumping and climbing through them for his morning training. He was wearing his boot, pants, and a thin tunic as he rushed through the area.

The leaves and branches brushed past him as every single step took him further and further through the wilderness. He grabbed a large branch and swung himself forward before landing in the dirt with a roll and kept on moving. His labored breaths and sweat staining his tunic were signs of how much he was pushing himself with his training. The sound of his boots squishing through the dirt and crunching on twigs and dead leaves were the melody as he maneuvered through the diverse landscape. He vaulted over a bush and rolled from his impact before climbing up a steep cliff face and stopping at the top.

Orys swooped down and landed down next to Will and let out a happy caw. He smiled at Orys and took some deep breaths as the nice breeze was a welcome reprieve with his training. From his position on the steep cliff face he could see the expansive farmlands and gem mines outside the city along with the growing collection of houses and tents that was slowly starting to build a small town. Much like Winterfell had Winter town, Astapor had…whatever it would be named. Next to the small growing town was his Dothraki Caravan who were busy saddling their horses and packing their tents along with essential items like enough food and water for the journey to Yunkai. He was glad he got this training session in the morning as he wasn't sure when he would have a chance to be in the hills again. He took a final deep breath before taking a step forward and sliding down the steep cliff while Orys flew into the air.

He ran from the hills and past the small collection of houses, huts, and people who waved at the prince as he ran by. Some workers were pulling a wagon of rocks through the village which would normally be an obstacle but not for everyone. Orys flew above the wagon as Will raced forward and front flipped over it, showing off a great deal of agility and athleticism that made the nearby bystanders clap in applause. A smirk grew on his face as he kept running and passed through the side gate. Bystanders waved and cheered his name as children ran alongside him to see if they could keep up. He chuckled as he ran into the main square near the arena where he saw sculptors and builders working on the statues of the winners of the game. Those were a great couple of days.

Flashback…

The opening day of the games was a huge success with an intense horseback race throughout the city and the crowning of their three champions. And after the ceremony where the three champions were crowned, the party began. Wine was drunk, food was eaten, and good times were had. The entire city was celebrating in revelry with the main courtyards and squares the main hub of activity. The Unsullied were standing guard, of course in case something happened but Will spoke with Grey Worm and organized it so that every night half of the Unsullied kept guard while the other half relaxed, and they'd switch over the course of six days.

At the main square, joyous and festive music was played as everyone enjoyed themselves whether they were dancing, drinking, or engaging in friendly games. Rabbits, chickens, and fist were roasted over fires while bread and soup were eaten, and wine was drunk, but it was just the first night with more to come. Many of Will's party were there to enjoy themselves. Tydeus was stuffing his face at a table rather ungracefully which drew some odd looks but nothing else. Iolaus was chatting and flirting with some young maidens while Amphiaraus munched on some vegetables. Autolycus along with a few others engaged in a friendly game of dice for betting while everyone watched. But drawing the most attention was Atalanta who was engaging Harion Karstark and Smalljon Umber in a little test of strength. All three had their hands over a fire pit and whoever stayed the longest won.

They were all shaking and trying their best to hide their pain but sooner or later a victor would emerge. Edric, Gendry, along with Garlan and Tyrion cheered them on as well as a growing group of spectators.

"Hold it! Hold it!" Tyrion shouted at them only for Smalljon and Harion to pull their hands away in defeat as those who had bet on Atalanta cheered. The two Northern sons drank their sorrow and pain in wine as Atalanta chuckled.

"Keep practicing boys!" She joked as she sipped her wine and hugged a woman close to her. "Who's next? You? You?"

Missandei was sitting with Cedric and Hercules, watching the little bout between Atalanta and the Northern sons who were a little upset at their victory but Atalanta was tough and it was in good fun. And where was Will, well he was watching everything from the roof of a building around the main square. Orys was perched next to him as the two kept a watchful eye on everything. This wasn't the prince being closed off or upset, he just liked the peace and quiet and watching the proof of all his hard work pay off was nice. He reached to his side where he had a small bag, so he reached in and pulled out a small jug of water and poured himself a cup.

"Enjoying yourself, my prince?" Hundred Eyes asked as he walked over and sat himself down next to him.

"A little. After everything we've done, all the hark work…it's nice to see some of it pay off." Will commented. "But there's still work to be done."

"To true but it would do you some good to enjoy the victories you have." Hundred Eyes told him as he sat down next to him. "Too much focus on the future can obscure your vision of the initial purpose of your quest."

"But not enough focus on the future and you don't move forward." Will quipped back causing Hundred Eyes to chuckle.

"You've grown wise during our time together."

"I'm actually glad you found me tonight. I found something I think you'll like from a trader from Yi Ti." He reached into the bag and pulled out container and two glasses. "Spiced plum wine from the southern provinces."

He uncorked the bottle and poured two cups. They sipped the wine and Hundred Eyes smiled. "Home tastes splendid."

"Do you ever think of returning there?" He wondered only for Hundred Eyes to finish the cup, so he poured him some more. "I've been honored to have you by my side these years, but I also believe that everyone should have a choice. If I could arrange it, you could return home."

"A generous offer, my prince but as I told you when we first met that my travels here are penance for my mistakes. And I find great honor in helping you in your quest however I can." Hundred Eyes told him.

"The honor is mine." Will refilled both their cups and clinked their cups together before sharing a drink, watching the festivities play out into the night.

The next couple of days seem to blur past in a hurry. The mornings were usually filled with people getting ready and those that partied too hard recovering from their hangovers while the participants in that day's games readied themselves. The foot race trough the city was an intense competition followed up by the spear throwing, wrestling and now they were on their final event on the fifth day, the combat tournament. To get the crowd pumped for what they would see, there were going to be some mock battles to start everything off between various members of the Prince's party and any volunteers. Inside the arena was a large circle of wood that indicated the fighting area and you lost if you were knocked out or surrendered. No killing.

A blare of trumpets sounded the start to the days festivities which made the arena of spectator's quiet down. The seats were filled with not only citizens of the city but traveling merchants and visitors who had heard of the games and stayed for the duration were treated to amazing games of skill and enjoyable nightlife and parties. One of the Astaporian councilors stood up and walked to the edge of the viewing podium to address the crowd.

"Good morning, Citizens of Astapor!" He shouted and everyone cheered. "We have witnessed many incredible shows of competition these past few days in honor of the celebration of this great city and our bright future! But the best has yet to come for today marks the last and best contest! Today, this arena will be host to duels of immense skill where the only the best will advance on! The clash of steel and crashing of wood will fill our ears like a symphony! To encourage the best fights and fuel the soul of our fighters, a demonstration by warriors of immense skill. Two teams of warriors shall fight! The first team of warriors to take the field are no stranger to combat but we shall see if their skills shall lead them to victory!"

The workers quickly moved about and opened up the gate as the crowd cheered. The first to walk out of the gate was Harion Karstark. He held up his shield and wooden sword to the cheer of the crowd. He walked through the arena and stood on the left side of the battlefield as the rest of his team joined him. Thoros of Myr, Garlan Tyrell, Autolycus, and former slave gladiators Crixus and Spartacus along with Hercules.

Once their team was together out walked Smalljon Umber, Tydeus, Ser Arthur Dayne, Amphiaraus, and former slave gladiators Agron and Gannicus. The six stood together as their last member had yet to join them.

"And the final warrior for the opposing team is a man who needs little introduction! The Break of Chains, The Wolf of Storms, The Slayer of the Iron Born and the mighty Blue Wolf…Astapor I give you WILLIAM THE CONQUEROR!"

The crowd went ballistic as out walked William, clad in his hooded jacket. Once he stepped into view and the sun beamed down on him, he removed his hood to the cheer of the crowd. Men roared and the women swooned, some even showing their breasts. Will had a smile on his face as he walked forward with two wooden swords in his hands before raising them up and letting out a celebratory shout.

"RAHHHHH!" He shouted, getting the crowd pumped as he walked through the arena and over to his team.

"Had to take all the glory for yourself?" Smalljon Umber asked.

"What can I say? I give the crowd what they want." Will waved his hand and smiled. "If you want glory, Smalljon, best show everyone if you're skills have improved."

"Oh, if you weren't the prince, I would hit you." Smalljon said only for Will to chuckle.

"You're welcome to try." him replied as they faced the other team.

"Victory in this battle comes through expulsion from the circle or surrender. Best of luck to both teams!" The councilor shouted before raising his hand. "Begin!"

The two teams charged at each other in an epic clash of wooden swords and light metal shields that caused the crowd to erupt in an alcohol-induced frenzy of applause and cheer as fighter against fighter ignited the crowds passion and that of the warriors who would soon take the sand. With it being a mock battle, no one was seriously injured aside from some bruising and cuts, but it did its job to make the crowd wet with anticipation for the rest of the tournament. The last two days of the festival passed in a haze of cheers, wine, and revelry.

End of Flashback…

He was brought out of his little trip down memory lane by Orys as he let out a cry before landing down on the roof of a building. Will smirked as he ran over to the building and vaulted up some nearby crate before jumping up and grabbing a post which he used to swing forward and land on another post before climbing up the wall of the small building using his bare hands. Once he climbed up, he kept on running across the rooftops as Orys flew over him.

He jumped the gap between two buildings and landed in a roll before making a right and sliding down a deep slant of a roof. When he reached the bottom, he quickly jumped and grabbed a rope from a nearby pulley to swing around the side of a building before landing on a passing cart carrying lumber.

The driver turned and saw him land on the back of his cart with a smile. "Morning." Will gave him a small wave and nod before quickly jumping down from the cart and walking over to a nearby well. He grabbed a nearby bucket and filled it, drinking some water before splashing his face and wetting the back of his neck. Some nearby children came over and he playfully splashed them a bit before walking over to the main gate of the city with them following. When he arrived at the main gate, he saw many of the Unsullied standing in formation but most of the legion were marching out the gate and down the road.

"Morning." He heard as Autolycus walked over.

"Autolycus. How are we doing?" Will asked as the two walked.

"We're moving on schedule. About 5,000 of the Unsullied have already marched out following the scouts we sent early this morning. And the Unsullied are also guarding our food and supplies caravans. The wagons carrying our siege weapons are next and the Dothraki are just about ready to leave as well." Autolycus informed him.

"Yes, I saw them on my run. Good work. Make sure everyone's affairs are in order before we leave. We've got a long march to Yunkai." He bid Autolycus goodbye and made his way back to his room to get cleaned up and dressed for the journey. Most of his people had already moved out of the palace that was their residence for their time in Astapor.

Will got himself a quick bath to scrub off the dirt and sweat he had caked to his body from his morning run and savored it. He wasn't delusional to think he would never have another bath again, but he knew that things would be even harder in the years to come. Once he finished bathing and dried off, he wrapped a towel around his waist and saw his clothes set out for him on his bed, probably by Missandei.

He got dressed, putting on his pants and lacing up his boots before slipping his Valyrian steel daggers in their holsters. After that he slipped on his white tunic and adjusted it as need be before putting on his armored vambraces and flicking his wrists to make sure both hidden blades were working right. The last part was putting his jacket over that and then tying his belt before putting Storm's Wrath on his left hip. His bow, quiver, and Wolf's Fang were together on a chair and would be placed on his saddle for the journey. Taking one last look around the room for anything he missed, he grabbed his stuff and left seeing Missandei and Cedric waiting there.

"Time to go." He told them and they nodded, carrying their personal items and they made their way to the palace exit where the Astaporian Council was waiting for them.

"You leave Astapor in a hurry, Prince William. We hoped to throw you a feast for your journey." Councilmen Eras told him.

"Unnecessary. The festival celebration was more than enough. And I wished not to make a spectacle of our leaving. This is your city, not mine. I must continue my journey, but should you need anything just send a messenger or a raven. I've ordered a contingent of a thousand Unsullied to remain here to protect the city should the masters get any ideas and Spartacus continues to train the city watch. And Master Gibbs patrols the waters. You will be safe. I wish you all good fortune for you, the people, and this city. It has been my honor." Will bowed his head before they bowed as well.

"The honor has been ours, your grace." Councilwoman Quasa replied as Will shook each of their hands before leaving the palace where he, Missandei, and Cedric got on horses. True to his word, he did order a thousand Unsullied to remain in Astapor and protect the council, the city, and the inhabitants along with keeping him informed of anything going on. He had other spies in the city from his various contacts with traders and such but some more never hurt. Grey Worm picked a commander to lead them and they protect Astapor as the Astaporian City Watch continued to build. The rapid-fire ballistae they used against the Dothraki charge were still on the walls of the city, so they were protected for now and the harbor had Master Gibbs and the army of ships to defend them. Astapor was safe but safe was a fleeting mistress. If they were ever gonna be safe from the Masters then Will needed to put the target back on him and marching to Yunkai did just that.

As Will, Missandei and Cedric road through the city to the gate leading to the road north, people waved goodbye and tossed flowers to the ground wishing them good luck. He smiled and waved as he met up with the rest of his party by the gate. Most of the army had marched out with the Dothraki galloping around to cover the Unsullied and the wagons of supplies, chariots, and siege weapons. Ser Arthur Dayne was on his horse and was waiting along with Hundred Eyes, Smalljon Umber, Harion Karstark, Garlan Tyrell, Hercules and his brothers. He looked back at the city one last time before looking out at the army marching north.

"Let's go." He ushered his horse forward with his army. The Conqueror was now heading to Yunkai.

Seven days into the journey to Yunkai, William and his army had made it about 35 leagues down the Old Ghiscari road towards the Yellow City and that was with their caravan of supplies, the Unsullied, Dothraki and the scouts making sure that the ways ahead was clear. Another fortnight and they would arrive at Yunkai. He could push them to go faster but with the hot sun of the Ghiscari road he didn't want anyone passing out, hurt, or sluggish so they took their time and were careful. He made sure everyone had enough water and they already had enough food rationed for the entire journey. He was smart like that but the Ghiscari road was close to Slaver's bay so they could fish which helped.

Currently, the army was parked near a small oasis to resupply water along with giving the horses and everyone some rest from the riding. Will decided they had marched enough for the day and decided to make camp for the night which was a nice relief. Will was next to water, taking Roach's reins and saddle off as the horse drank the water. Many of the other horses were drinking from the water while people were refilling empty containers and pouches. Tents and such were being set up as the Unsullied on guard duty took their positions while some Dothraki went to hunt.

"You did good today, Roach." Will pat the horse on the neck before reaching into his pocket and taking out a small apple. "Here's a treat. Don't go spending it all in one place."

Roach happily munched the apple and gently nudged Will before he went back to drinking water. Will grabbed his gear and walked over to see that his tent had been quickly set up which was a common occurrence. It wasn't just his sleeping quarters but also their main tent for discussing issues and planning their trip, so it was often one of the first things set up. He placed his pack, Wolf's Fang, and his bow down just as Ser Arthur, Cedric, Missandei, Grey Worm and Hercules walked in.

"I trust everyone is getting settled in." He spoked.

"Yes, your grace. The Unsullied are in their positions and everything seems to be fine." Cedric told him.

"Good. Make sure everyone gets some food and Grey Worm, inform the Unsullied about the rotating shifts. I want them all to get enough rest."

"Yes, your grace." Grey Worm replied.

"And for the concerning news?" Will asked as Ser Arthur handed him some small, rolled parchments they got from ravens.

"Things in Astapor are fine. No news of any changes or whispers of the Masters involvement. I think pretty much everyone in the city is enjoying their new life. But the traders have been getting whispers that the Slaver's of Volantis are getting worried. Master Gibbs has already captured three of their ships since we left and per your instructions the slaves were set free, the slavers were killed, and their ships added to the Armada. The Astaporian council is opening up a maritime school to train new sailors and ship hands." Ser Arthur explained. "I'll give the Masters of Volantis one thing, they're determined. Do you have any plans to deal with them?"

"A few rattling in my head. I might just sneak into the city, find a nice perch and take aim with my bow but we have other matters to focus on." Will opened up the map and placed two markers down. One where he and his camp were parked and another on the city of Yunkai. "If we keep our steady pace then we'll arrive at Yunkai within a fortnight and we might be able to time it properly so that we'll have a new moon after which could play to our advantage."

"How?" Misssandei was confused.

"I'll explain later. Hercules, have our scouts reported anything?" He asked.

"They have. The path ahead is still clear but they're reporting some movement in Yunkai. It seems that Wise Masters are aware your coming after them and they're preparing. They've sent out riders and messengers out to gather allies. We're not sure on who they're contacting but I'd imagine they're talking with the masters of Meereen and trying to hire a sellsword company to be ready for us." Hercules explained.

"Interesting. Have our scouts keep an eye out and find out everything they can. I know we can handle anything, but I don't want us caught unaware." Will told him.

"Will do." Hercules replied when Garlan Tyrell walked into the tent.

"Sorry for the interruption but there's a visitor here to see you, your grace." Garlan announced.

"A visitor?" Ser Arthur wasn't expecting that.

"Aye. A woman in a red cloak. Says she's here to see the Breaker of Chains. Lord Dondarrion and Thoros of Myr are watching over her." Garlan explained.

"A woman in a red cloak?" Arthur repeated.

"She could be a follower of the Lord of Light." Missandei suggested.

"But what brings her here." Will grabbed his sword and they all left the tent to see their mystery guest.

Garlan led them to the east side of the camp where the visitor was waiting under guard and true to his word when they arrived, they saw Thoros of Myr, Lord Dondarrion and various Storm's Land men-at-arms keeping watch over her. The visitor was indeed a person in a red cloak, but they couldn't see if she were a woman as they had a hood over their head.

"Your grace." Thoros, Lord Dondarrion, and the men bowed their heads.

"I heard we have a visitor." Will said as he looked at the stranger. "All are welcome into my camp so long as they bear no ill will. Who are you?"

"I bear you no ill will, Prince that was Promised." She removed her hood to reveal a woman of 30 summers of age. Long black hair with green eyes and a unique chocker that contained a special gem. "I am Kinvara, High Priestess of the Red Temple of Volantis."

Will clenched his fist and many of the others moved their hands to their weapons. "Easy, everyone. She means us no harm." Thoros said.

"I trust your judgement Thoros after traveling so long together but you'll have to understand that I'm a little suspect of someone from Volantis." Will pointed out. "What brings a Priestess of the Lord of Light to my camp if not to spy for the Masters of Volantis."

"The Lord of Lights brought me here." Kinvara told him. "Word of your triumphs have reached all of Essos, even in the city of the Masters. Slaves whisper your name and pray for your victory over the Masters of Slaver's Bay. Of course, the followers of the Lord of Light expect no less from the Prince that was Promised."

"You're not the first one to claim I am your prophesied warrior but I'm afraid to say that I'm not Azor Ahai reborn." Will told her. "Why did you come here and how did you even find us?"

"The Lord of Light showed me the way. He showed me a vision in the flames of the prince and the trials he shall face. He felt it was necessary to send along a priestess to help guide you in the dangers you will face." Kinvara replied.

"And what dangers do you mean, exactly?" Ser Arthur asked.

"Death comes close to you, my prince. All your skills yet it looms close and the Lord of Light has sent me here to keep the darkness away for the night is dark and full of terrors. And those terrors await you in Slaver's Bay and back in Westeros. Terrors you will have to face to save this world." Kinvara explained but Will didn't buy what she was selling. "Doubt my words if you desire but the Lord of Light believes in you and shall guide your hand in the years to come. And I shall be here to help."

"How exactly can you help us?" Hercules wondered as she looked at the large man.

"Provide wisdom, guidance and show the gifts the lord grants his most faithful servants. Gifts that shall help you Hercules, son of Zeus in finally settling the deeds of your past that still haunt you." Kinvara said as she walked over to him and looked at the large man with no fear. "It still haunts you, doesn't it? Seeing your wife and children on the ground, the growls of the evil wolf, their screams echoing in your mind, their blood staining your hands…"

Will and the others could see that Kinvara's words were really getting to Hercules as the large stoic man was suddenly silent and frozen with fear. "That's enough." Will walked forward and moved her away from him.

"Fear not, Hercules. The Prince that was Promised shall aide you in finishing the last labor." Kinvara assured him before looking at everyone. "His journey shall help all of you and I am here to aid the Prince."

"And if I don't want you in my camp?" Will asked.

"Then I shall honor your wish but shall remain close to aid you. As the Lord of Light has shown, that is my task." Kinvara bowed her head while he contemplated what to do.

"Lord Dondarrion, find her a tent but task your best men to make sure she is under guard at all times." Will spoke and Lord Dondarrion nodded.

"Of course, your grace." Lord Dondarrion led her away but she stopped to look at him.

"You shall see I am telling the truth, my lord. Your destiny is much bigger than you can imagine." Kinvara said before following Lord Dondarrion and his men. Thoros moved to join them when Will grabbed his arm.

"What do you know of this woman?" He asked.

"She is who she says she is, and nothing would bring a high priestess out of the Red Temple unless it was important. Do you believe now, your grace?" Thoros wondered.

"All I know is she unnerves me." Will said, letting Thoros go and join Lord Dondarrion. He looked over at Hercules and saw he was still rattled by what Kinvara said to him. "That's enough for today. Get some rest. All of you."

"Come, uncle." Iolaus led his uncle away as his compatriots joined him.

Ser Arthur walked over to Will as they watched Hercules and his group walk back into camp. "I don't think I've ever seen the man frozen like that."

"Hercules past is his own. None of us know what demons lay in his head when he sleeps. Whoever Kinvara is…there's something strange. Tell Lord Dondarrion if she does anything suspicious to capture her. Whether she is really here to help me remains to be seen." He said and Arthur nodded as the two walked back into camp.

When night descended onto camp and many were sleeping, Hercules was having a sleep plagued by nightmares. Having drank a few cups of wine to go to sleep to forget what happened, he was instead met with a reminder of his past. A past that led him and his companions to leave their native land. A past of blood and loss that woke him up. His breath was ragged, and his body caked in sweat. But curiously, a faint echo was heard that he could have detected as the laughter of children. He walked out of his tent and followed the laughter until he passed the ends of camp. He kept walking until the sands around him seemed to morph into that of an old forest with trees surrounding him and large trunks of roots littering the ground. He soon saw the trunks of roots were replaced with the bodies of the many people he had faced in his lifetime but what drew his attention were the collection of bodies under direct moonlight. The bodies of his wife Megara and his sons and daughter.

The growling of a fierce beast was heard as a large three-headed wolf with fur black as the night crawled in the woods and began gnawing on the bodies like a dog would a bone. Cerberus, the guard dog of the Underworld.

"NO!" Hercules charged forward to stop the beast as Cerberus growled before charging at him. Hercules raced at the beast with no fear and picked up a large stick and thrusts it forward like a spear to end the beast of his nightmares, but nothing happened. A hand clasped his shoulder and he was brought back to reality to see there was nothing there and the forest had turned back into the flats of the Old Ghiscari road. Hercules looked and saw it was Tydeus that had brought him back to reality but wondered if this punishment from the gods would ever leave him or drive him to madness yet again. Unaware to both Tydeus and Hercules, Will was watching everything.

Early in the morning, Hercules washed his face with water to try and calm himself down after the night he had. "It happened again, didn't it?" He heard and turned to see Amphiaraus. "Another vision of Cerberus, the three-headed beast of Hades? The gods show you things they don't share with others."

"There's a word for that. Madness." Hercules told him.

"When we were driven from Athens, I consulted the Oracle of Delphi on your behalf. Do you remember her prophecy?"

"Hercules must finish the labor that remained unfinished."

"And what is that Hercules?" Amphiaraus asked, rhetorically. "Confront the beast that haunts you. Only then will you find peace. I speak from experience. No matter how far you run, no matter how fast you go, the beast will follow. Man cannot escape his fate."

Will walked through the camp, passing people who were taking down camp to continue their journey to Yunkai. He saw his brother's helping load one of the wagons with water jugs and barrels while Harion Karstark and Smalljon Umber saddled their horses. Will eventually found himself at a small campfire where Iolaus, Atalanta Tydeus, and Autolycus were getting some last-minute rest and conversation before the journey. Amphiaraus had returned after his talk with Hercules and was resting his eyes for a moment underneath a tree.

"Room for one more?" Will asked.

"For the prince who is promised, of course." Autolycus joked as Will sat down around the campfire. "If you really are this prophesied hero then maybe it'll help improve things going forward. We are lacking in female companionship on this journey. Atalanta doesn't count."

She looked at him with an amused expression. "If only your manhood was as long as your tongue."

A funny gest which just earned a shrug from Autolycus. "Both can satisfy in different ways."

Everyone chuckled a bit as Will looked at them all. "I've never been one to believe in prophecies. We make our own fortune and so far, fortune as favored all of us as the copious bags of coins you all have seem to prove."

"That they do." Autolycus replied.

"Your help has been much appreciated and you will forever have my gratitude. I just ask one thing." Will said.

"And what's that, my prince?" Iolaus wondered.

"The truth…about Hercules and how you five came here. A man as famed as Hercules doesn't leave his home unless he is forced to and what I've heard doesn't match to the man I've come to know." He said.

"What have you heard?" Iolaus wondered.

"That Hercules slaughtered his own family and should he ever return home that King Eurystheus will have him executed. Granted, these words have been passed from person to person from ship to ship so who knows what to make of them." Will pointed out as Iolaus, Atalanta, Tydeus, and Autolycus shared looks of pain and discomfort with the subject.

"Hercules had completed his labors and returned home. But Hera…" Iolaus started.

"No myths or stories. I just want to know the truth." Will told them.

"No one knows the truth." Autolycus stated. "Not for sure. We found Hercules alone. His wife, Megara, and the children, dead. He remembers nothing."

"What do you think happened?" Will asked as Autolycus looked at him.

"We grew up together, both orphans, just trying to survive in the streets of Athens. We found a home in the army. Looked out for each other. Hercules' strength set him apart. Kings of Athens started to send him on all the most dangerous missions."

"His twelve labors." Will surmised.

"And he took me with him. To fight by his side. And with each mission, our numbers grew. Scythia, the Amazon Kingdom where the Royal Family had been assassinated." Autolycus looked at Atalanta.

"My family was gone. Everyone was gone. Hercules helped me avenge their murder. He became my brother-in-arms." She added.

"Thebes, the city of corpses, where we found a single child, still alive." Autolycus looked at Tydeus.

"Hercules took Tydeus in when everyone else saw nothing but a wild animal." Iolaus explained.

"You know how rumors spread. How a legend grows. Hercules' deeds were so incredible, they could not possibly have been performed by a mere mortal. So, we played along. We encourage people to think Hercules was the son of Zeus. It's good. Scares the enemy. Iolaus helps. He talks nice." Autolycus joked.

"He's a good man and a fine warrior. All of which I already know but you're avoiding my question." Will reminded him.

"Hercules is a warrior. And there is something that haunts warriors. It can cloud their minds. We call it the blood rage. He swore to me to keep the world away from him, so he would never hurt another innocent again." Atalanta told him.

"And that, my prince is the truth." Autolycus added.

"The Truth." They all turned and saw Amphiaraus had waken up. "Whatever the truth, the death of his loved ones haunts Hercules. Only the gods can help him, if he listens."

With that answer in his mind, Will decided to visit one last person who could potentially tell him what he needed to know…he just wasn't sure if he would get a straight answer. He saw several men guarding one solitary tent. They stood at attention as he walked into the tent to see Kinvara sitting before a campfire.

"How can I help you, my prince?" Kinvara asked.

"You spoke to Hercules about his past, yet you never met him. How?"

"His past was in his eyes and they are the fire of the soul. I could see everything and I can see the same in you. Troubled dreams of your past and of your mother. New powers that awaken yet you cannot harness—" Will held up his hand to stop her then and there. He didn't want to drag this conversation into places he didn't want it to go.

"You also told him that I would help him complete his last labor. How did you see this?" He wondered.

"The flames showed me." Kinvara gestured to the large fire and begged him to see as well.

"I've already tried this and saw nothing. What did you see?"

"A battle in the Yellow city. The Wise Masters have found friends in the enemies of your allies. A man Hercules once thought of as a friend reveals his treachery…and the mark of the White Ape waits in secret." She explained and that last part caught Will's attention.

"Did you say mark of the white ape?" He asked for clarification and she nodded. "Tell me everything you saw."

295 AC: Yunkai

After a fortnight of more traveling, they finally arrived at their destination. Will got off his horse and walked over to a small cliff face to see the walled city of Yunkai. A city made of yellow bricks with walls and towers encircling the area, keeping it secured. Archers and slingers manned the walls with thick gates that would be formidable during a siege. But what stood out were the two large pyramids that overlooked everything else in the city and the golden harpy similar to the one in Astapor but unique to Yunkai.

"There she is. Yunkai." Will muttered, noticing the two large pyramids adorned with harpies.

"While taking Astapor was relatively easy with the element of surprise, this one won't be." Arthur said as he walked up to Will along with Missandei, Grey Worm, and Tyrion who for some reason joined them.

"From what I've heard Yunkai is a city that trains bed slaves, not Unsullied like warriors. And with such formidable warriors already battle hardened then it shouldn't be that hard to take the city." Tyrion guessed and he was partially right.

"True we could take them on the field with ease, but they'll never let that happen. They've got strong walls and would prolong this into a siege." Arthur pointed out. "But we do have some countermeasures for a siege that the Wise Masters don't know about."

"True and we need to make sure that it stays safe. Have our best Unsullied guard the siege weapons at all times." Will ordered and Arthur nodded before he looked out at the city. "Killing the masters is all well and good to me but a wise ruler shows mercy as well. And showing some mercy might get us some useful information. Speak softly yet conceal a dagger behind your back."

"A wise proverb if not a little odd." Arthur praised as Will turned to Grey Worm.

"Send a messenger to the city gates. Tell the slavers that I will receive them to discuss terms. This may be their only chance to avoid bloodshed if they so choose." He said and Grey Worm nodded before leaving to dispatch a messenger. "Let's get the camp set up the way we like it and have everyone on alert. And tell Autolycus to have our scouts on regular shifts. Give everyone some rest and make sure they're focused and attentive."

"Right away." Arthur replied as he signaled everyone to get the camp set up.

"Oh, this meeting will be interesting. I can feel it." Tyrion muttered.

Their messenger returned and the Yunkish would be sending someone to meet with Will in his camp under safe conduct. A few hours later, steady drumbeats began to sound as a Wise Master from Yunkai was carried into the camp in a large decorative and ornate human carriage carried by slaves, of course. With him was an accompaniment of Yunkish soldiers and more slaves carrying chests.

The Wise Master was carried into the camp but looking at the Unsullied surrounding the camp and standing at attention, he was understandably concerned. And considering what he's heard about the Westerosi leader and his penchant for killing slavers and distaste for slavery, he just hoped that his promise of safe conduct was real. The Wise Master's carriage eventually arrived in the middle of the camp at a large tent where the meeting would take place and noticed some Dothraki nearby along with more Westerosi. Inside the tent was Will sitting at a table with Ser Arthur Dayne, Hundred Eyes, and Cedric Angar standing close to him with Orys perched up on a pole. Along with those three were Edric and Gendry, Hercules, and his party and Grey Worm, while Tyrion, Garlan Tyrell, Harion Karstark, Smalljon Umber, Lord Dondarrion, and Thoros of Myr were stationed around and outside the tent as safeguards.

The slaves put down the human carriage allowing the Wise Master to walk out as Missandei escorted him in. "Now comes the noble Razdal mo Eraz of that ancient and honorable house. Master of men and speaker to savages to offer terms of peace." She announced as Orys let out a screech. "Noble lord, you are in the presence of William the Conqueror of House Baratheon, crowned prince of the Andals and the First Men, the Blue Wolf and Breaker of Chains."

"Please, sit." Will gestured him to take the empty seat across the table which he did as Missandei walked over with a pitcher and empty cup.

"Will the noble lord take refreshment?" Missandei asked and he nodded. She poured him a cup and he took a sip before putting it down.

"Ancient and glorious is Yunkai. Our empire was old before Aegon the Conqueror formed the Seven Kingdoms. Many an army have broken against our walls. You will find no easy conquest here." Razdal mo Eraz told him.

"Then perhaps the people who attempted before didn't try hard enough. I may be young, but I've had enough practice to make breaching your city look like child's play. And my Unsullied wouldn't mind the practice. As former slaves themselves, nothing would make them happier than freeing others." Will pointed out.

"If blood is what you desire then it shall flow. But why? True, you have committed atrocities in Astapor but the Yunkish are a forgiving and generous people." Razdal clapped his hands and his slaves walked over with chest filled with gold. "The Wise Masters of Yunkai have sent a gift for the Prince of Westeros. This and much more is yours and all we ask is that you sail your ships back to Westeros where you belong and allow us to conduct our affairs in peace."

"It's a very generous gift but you're mistaken on one thing." Will pointed out.

"And what's that?" Razdal asked.

"Thinking that I can be bought." Will said with a smirk. "I don't do this for personal gain, gold or any motive you that and the Masters have. I do this for the people you and the Masters have enslaved because you feel they are inferior or because of a tradition that dates back to an old empire that is long gone. Slavery is wrong and I will do everything in my power to make sure that the people here won't suffer with a chain around their neck or a whip on their back."

"What gives you the right to decide how the Yunkish handle our affairs. This is not King's Landing or Westeros; this is Essos and you hold no power over us." Razdal warned him.

"That's what the Masters of Astapor thought and look what happened to them and Astapor itself." Will replied. "Now a thriving city with no need or want for slaves. Slavery has been outlawed in Westeros for centuries, yet I find myself and others wealthier then the Masters here which begs to question as to why you continue this. The only reason you and the master's keep them is to fuel your own pockets and make yourselves feel powerful over people you control like animals. So, tell the masters to release all the slaves and leave or else there will be violence."

"You are a mad boy! We are not Astapor, we are Yunkai. And we have powerful friends, friends who will take great pleasure in destroying you. Those who survive we shall enslave once more. Perhaps we'll make a slave of you as well!" Razdal shouted only for Will to pull his Dragon bone dagger and stab the table, barely missing the Master's left hand but just barely. "You swore me safe conduct."

"I did…and you're not hurt, injured, or cut. But you should know I don't take well to threats or idiots who dare to threaten my compatriots." Will warned him.

"Get the gold!" Razdal told his slaves but Autolycus shut the chest and everyone had a hand on their weapons.

"I believe that is my gold. After all you did say it was a gift. And my compatriots and I thank you. We shall put it to good use. Tell the other Masters of my warning because when we meet again there will be no safe conduct." He promised. "Now get out."

Razdal got out of his chair and rushed over to his carriage, muttering curses in Low Valyrian. Calling him a son of a whore and word that might mean either horrendous or beautiful. It was kind of hard to hear as he muttered under his breath.

"Well…that went well." Gendry commented, breaking the silence.

"Actually, that went better than I thought it would." Will told him.

"The Yunkish are a proud people. They will not bend." Cedric reminded the prince.

"Well things that don't bend end up breaking. And besides, making them Wise Masters angry could play to our advantage. Angry people tend to make mistakes and we'll be there when they happen." Will adopted a smirk on his face which earned some chuckles.

"He said he had powerful friends." Hercules added.

"Something tells me those friends will be showing up soon. Keep a tight watch on the perimeter of the camp and on the city." Will told them all.

"And what are you plans for taking the city?" Tyrion wondered.

"All in do time, Tyrion. In the meantime, we prepare for every eventuality." He replied. "Send a raven to Master Gibbs. Have him send a few ships up here to keep an eye on Yunkai from the sea."

"Yes, your grace." Arthur replied and everyone got to work.

They followed Will's plan and prepared their camp and army for a possible siege, taking care to keep the black powder under wraps and away from anything that could possibly set it off. The catapults and rapid-fire ballistae were guarded constantly and the Unsullied were diligently doing their duty. The Dothraki just trained and rode their horses but also began scouting the area and a few days after Will's meeting with Razdal mo Eras, they found out who the Wise Master's had as allies but luckily thanks to his network of spies, so did he.

Will, Ser Arthur, Garlan, Hercules and some others were hiding behind some large rocks as they watched men on horses ride over to a small growing camp outside of the city by one of the smaller gates. Men in armor with swords, spears, bows, and other attendants like squires to help with the horses, cooks who were tending to large bubbling vats of food and women to keep the men company.

"So that's their plan for us?" Will didn't know if he should feel honored or insulted.

"Men who fight for gold haver neither honor nor loyalty. They cannot be trusted." Garlan stated.

"We have some former sellswords in our company." Will reminded him.

"But they can be trusted to kill you if they're well paid and I would guess that the Yunkish are paying them well." Hercules added.

"I don't know if I should feel insulted or honored that they hired the Second Sons. I was at least expecting the Golden Company." Will muttered.

"I doubt even the leader of the Golden Company would be foolish enough to take on the Prince of the Seven Kingdoms, but he might be a problem in the future if the Slaver's of Volantis band together to hire them." Thoros commented. "Still, the Second Sons are not to be trifled with. They're led by a Bravosi named Mero, the Titan's Bastard."

"More Titan or more bastard?" Will joked.

"He's a dangerous man, my prince. They all are." Thoros cautioned him. "Two thousand armed and mounted men who love to kill. While it's not a lot, they could prove to be dangerous."

"That's if they get the chance but they won't." Will declared. "Send a messenger to the Titan's Bastard that I'm willing to discuss their surrender and let them leave with their lives."

"He might not decide to meet with you." Ser Arthur told him.

"Would you, Hercules if you were in his position?" Will asked and Hercules nodded.

"I would and I did. If you're up against an enemy you're paid to kill, it's best to learn everything you can about them before." He answered.

"He'll come." Will said as they went back to camp.

And like Hercules suspected he would, the two leaders of the Seconds Son arrived in his camp to meet. Inside the main tent, Will sat at the table as the two leaders were escorted in by Lord Dondarrion with Hercules and the others keeping watch over the two.

"Your grace, allow me to present the captains of the Second Sons. Mero of Braavos and Prendal na Ghezn." Lord Dondarrion introduced as Mero walked forward a few steps.

"So, you're William the Conqueror?" Mero looked over Will and smirked. "You look more like a girl than a boy. Do you moonlight at the pleasure houses of Lys?"

"Mind your tongue." Ser Arthur Dayne warned him.

"Why? It's not like the boy prince can do anything about it." Mero just bravely walked in and noticed Atalanta standing next to Hercules. "Oh, well isn't she a beauty. I bet you take in the ass, don't you?"

"If I were you, I'd watch my tone." Will warned him.

"Oh, what's the matter, boy? Is she your favorite?" Mero then looked at Missandei with a leering smile. "Personally, I prefer her. Slave girl, bring me wine."

"We have no slaves here and you're not in the position to be making demands." Will told him.

"You'll all be slaves after the battle unless I save you. Isn't that why you sent for us? To try and bribe us to join your side?" Mero asked rhetorically

"You're mistaken. I didn't bring you here to hire you. I brought you here to give you a chance to leave this conflict with your lives." He corrected the Titan's Bastard. "Take the Second Sons and leave the city. Keep the gold the Wise Masters gave you but leave while I show you this mercy."

"You've got quiet a pair on you, boy." Mero stepped forward only to stop when everyone put a hand on their weapons.

"No, just some common sense. You have at most two thousands men armed and mounted while I have 11,000 trained Unsullied who are battle hardened against a Dothraki horde which I broke. And those three thousand remaining Dothraki now ride for me. The odds are not in your favor." He pointed out.

"The Second Sons have faced worse odds and won." Mero proudly boasted.

"More like faced worse odds and run." Ser Arthur joked.

"You've taken the Wise Master's gold and I don't care. Keep it and walk away to fight another day against someone else." Will told them.

"Our contract is our bond. If we break our bond, then no one will hire the Second Sons again." Prendal na Ghezn answered.

"I'd offer to hire you but quite frankly the Titan's Bastard's behavior has ruined that, so I think this conversation is over." Will told them. "Go back to your camp. You'll see me soon enough."

Mero and Prendal stood up to leave but the Titan's Bastard had a few more words to say. "In the Second Sons we share everything. When I cut your head off, guess that means your women as well." He smirked before looked at Missandei. "I'll come find you when this is over."

He slapped her on the ass and Missandei kept her composure as best as possible, but she didn't like it. Everyone else in the tent thought the man was an ass and Will's smile turned to a sneer. "Everyone, prepare your weapons and darkest clothing. We take them down tonight. Any objections?"

"None from us." Hercules replied and everyone was of the same mind.

"Bows, knives, and we take them all out with green gas. We do it quick and quietly, but no one touches the Titan's Bastard. I have an arrow with his name on it." Will promised.

Night descended onto the camp of the Second Sons and many of them were either drinking, conversing by the fires, sleeping or having gone into city to partake in the city's pleasure houses. Mero and Prendal returned to camp after the meeting with the Prince of the Seven Kingdoms and neither of them seemed concerned. Sure, they couldn't defeat an army of Unsullied on the battlefield, but it wouldn't come to that. They hatched a plan to kill the prince tonight in his camp by having one of their men sneak in and slit his throat. Said assassin was a young rising warrior in the Second Sons Daario Naharis. A long haired, Tyroshi Sellsword, he was skilled with his arakh as well as his knife and was pretty stealthy as well. He was promised to be made a lieutenant if successful, so he was motivated.

He had stealthily moved through the surrounding desert/shrubbery laid terrain and saw the faint glow of torches and campfires as he neared the Prince's camp which was a safe distance from the city. Daario crouched behind a large boulder, paying close attention to the Unsullied patrol patterns and lines of sight. They were grouped closed together and the patrols moved within narrow windows so there wasn't much room for error. The prince was smart.

Before Daario could move, he heard a twig snap which made him freeze solid. He slowly pulled out his knife with the woman carving on the handle and turned to see a small desert hare scurry past him. Seeing the brown-furred rabbit move past him, Daario lowered his guard when he heard the whistling sound of a fast-moving projectile and got an arrow in the neck. He fell to his knees, gargling and chocking blood as he dropped his knife and looked at the arrow lodged in his windpipe when another arrow came out of the same direction and went through his head, killing him.

From out of the dark surrounding terrain, Will stepped forward in his jacket with his hood and face mask on. He had his bow in his hand and a quiver on his back but other than that and his two daggers in his boots along with a small pouch on his side that was it. He didn't bring Storm's Wrath or Wolf's Fang because carrying the swords around his waist risked the sheath knocking around and making some noise. So, he left them in his tent and carried a pouch that held a lot of the green powder.

Ser Arthur walked up to the prince, dressed in dark clothing and carrying his sword on his back. "I see that the Second Sons thought the same as you."

"That would appear to be the case. I'm impressed." Will muttered before reaching down and picking up the knife with the woman carving on the handle. "Cute."

He put it back down on the ground as two Unsullied came over to dispose of the body. Will let out a sharp whistle and they continued with their plan. At the Second Son's camp, other than a few echoes of conversation by campfires and some drunken clamors and shouts the Sellswords didn't seem to have a care in the world. One Sellsword walked away from his tent and over to a rock to take a piss. He groaned in relief as he released his bladder and once he was done and pulled his pants back up, he heard a small whistle which caught his attention. Taking a few steps forward which would be his last, he was grabbed by his vest and thrown into the tall grass before he got a blade through the throat and died. Said attacker was Will who was getting very good with the hidden blades.

Once the sellsword was dead and hidden by the tall grass, he slowly crouched out and hid by some crates. A peak behind the crates and he was able to get a good look at the camp and saw the men stationed around it. Some men around the central firepit, drinking jugs of wine or picking at a rabbit that was roasting on a spit. Around the smaller campfires throughout the camp, there were fewer men, but they lounged around drinking and eating. Two Second Son members walked past the barrels, conversing and joking and when they walked a little further, he sprang into action. He kicked one in the back of the leg which sent him to his knees and then stabbed him in the back of the neck with his hidden blade before stabbing the other in the heart. He was quick, efficient and no noise was made. Autolycus quickly came over and took one of the bodies Will while took the other and they dragged them away.

A Second Son merc walked over to his tent and when he did his mouth was covered and got a knife to the back curtesy of Harion Karstark before being dragged into the tent, out of sight. Another merc walked over to a wine barrel to refill his mug when he was grabbed from behind and pulled out of sight where he got his neck snapped by Hercules. One sellsword that was relaxing in his tent heard some noise outside, so he opened his tent flap only to get an axe to the head from Tydeus and pushed back in before he threw the axe and hit another merc in the back. Said merc hit the sand with a small thud which attracted the attention of two other men who were walking by but as they turned to investigate, they got their throats slit by Ser Arthur Dayne and Garlan Tyrell.

Four Second Son members were huddled around a fire only to get pin cushioned by arrows from Atalanta and Will. Three more walked over to see their friends riddled with arrows but were killed by throwing knives curtesy of Autolycus. Some tents shuffled and out walked two mercs who had woken up from noise but before they could shout or call for help, Will plucked two arrows from his quivers and fired them both. The arrows hit their mark and no alarm was sound.

"Quickly. Start taking what you can and place the pouches around as far as you can." Will told them as he and a few others moved further into the camp while the others took what they could and placed down large bags of the green powder all over the place but also connected them via oil-soaked strings and ropes.

Will continued moving further into the camp when he saw the largest tent set up by a large firepit It had to be Mero's tent and he did see Mero and Prendal na Ghazen talking. Probably conversing on when their assassin would be back but too bad for them, he wasn't coming back, and he had the perfect shot lined up. He took out an arrow and pulled it back on the draw string, taking a deep breath and released when he was yanked from behind by a Second Son which altered the course of his arrow. The arrow flew through the air and nailed Prendal na Ghazen right in the throat, ending his life then and there. The Second Son unsheathed and dagger and stabbed down but Will unsheathed a hidden blade and parried it before stabbing him in the neck with the other. Quickly pushing the dead body away, he grabbed his bow off the ground and plucked five arrows out of his quiver.

Mero saw Prendal get killed and turned to see a hooded figure hiding by some tent with a bow and fired an arrow. The Titan's Bastard smirked, catching the arrow in his hand with ease only for a second arrow to go his through hand, a third go through his other arm, a fourth hit him right in the leg and the fifth hitting him in the collar bone. Will quickly use his bow to parry an axe swing before he pulled out an arrow and stabbed the Second Son in the throat. Then used that same arrow and fired it at Mero, landing his final shot right through Mero's right eye.

By now the Second Sons knew someone had infiltrated their camp so while they were still trying to figure out who and get their weapons, Will threw the green powder pouch onto a campfire before running away as fast as he could. Some of the Second Sons gave chase and he threw throwing knives at them as he ran away. The pouch that he threw in the campfire had been in long enough, so it burned through the material and once the fire contacted the powder it erupted into a giant plume of green smoke/gas. The Second Sons who were caught in the smoke began to cough before convulsing and then bleeding from the eyes. After that, it wasn't pretty.

Garlan Tyrell, Autolycus and the others who had been taking items and boxes from the Second Sons camp along with their horses saw the green smoke erupt in the middle of the camp and knew they needed to go.

"I believe that's our signal, gents!" Autolycus shouted and everyone began heading into darkness of the surrounding terrain. Will and his party soon followed them as Ser Arthur grabbed a torch during his run and tossed it onto the oil-soaked rope on the ground which quickly caught fire and began to spread to the pouches it was attached to. Will and everyone ran from the camp and got onto the horses they stole saddled with the supplies they lifted and saw several plumes of green smoke erupt so they galloped away. No one gave chase as anyone who was after them was exposed to the gas and soon died. Not by a sword, knife, or arrow but by a poison that took the form of smoke.

The survivors of this attack would spread tales of what they witnessed and of the scourge of this green smoke and the horrors it brought. That was the night the Second Sons were broken. Their leaders dead and a majority of their men killed, those that survived turned tale and ran with what gold they kept from the Wise Masters.

The next morning, the Wise Masters had slaves tend to and remove the bodies of the dead from the ruins of the camp and recover anything of value. Will's scouts reported a lot of cursing from the Masters but he knew they wouldn't stand idle with their thumbs up their asses for long so he needed to launch the next attack first and take that city which led him to call a meeting around midday after everyone ate to discuss the plans to take the city.

"With the Second Sons taken care of, we should take the city as soon as possible before the Wise Masters get anymore help. We kill them, take the city then we continue our work." Will told them all as they surrounded a table that had a map of the city and the surrounding area. "But first things first, we won't turn this into a siege. I'm here to free the people of this city from the Masters, not destroy it. Just like Astapor, the masters and slavers are our concern. I don't want to turn the people of this city against us so be on your best behavior or else I'll have Hercules use his club on your head."

Hercules chuckled at the idea along with everyone else. "We'll be on our best behavior." Smalljon Umber told him.

"Good. Ser Arthur." Will let him go first.

"According to our scouts and messages we've received from the merchants inside the city the Yunkish army patrol the city and have been rather brutal in quelling any talks about our freedom movement or even about Astapor. And it's not just limited to slaves but the free people in that city have been punished for even speaking about us. I've seen things like this before, so it won't be long before things escalate even further. Master Gibbs has his ships blocking Yunkai from the bay so the Wise Masters can't escape while we enter through the front. Or more accurately through the side." Ser Arthur put a figure on the map right next to the city.

"There's no way we'll be able to get through a side gate without them spotting us and then turning this into a siege." Garlan Tyrell pointed out.

"Which would be true if this were going to happen during the day, but it won't be. And we won't be going through the gate, we'll be going over the wall." Will explained with a smile as Thoros and Lord Dondarrion smirked while everyone else was confused.

"Over the wall?" Missandei asked, a little confused at the idea.

"During the Greyjoy Rebellion, the prince and his uncle were tasked with conquering the island of Great Wyk and its largest castle Hammerhorn. Rather then prolong things with a siege, the prince devised a plan to infiltrate the city and open up the main gate which let the army through." Ser Arthur explained.

"All warfare is based on deception. The side gate is the one that's the least patrolled so that's where we infiltrate. I'll scale the wall and open up the side gate where a team will enter and we'll begin making our way through to open up the main gate. Once we're inside, it won't be long before the army surrenders and then we'll take out the Masters. We've done this before, and it's worked. Lucky for us, a new moon cycle starts tomorrow night, so we'll have the cover of darkness to help us." Will added. "Grey Worm, start ordering the Unsullied to set up siege lines and catapults a safe distance from the wall. It'll draw their attention and have them focus most of their efforts there leaving us a better chance to take the side gate."

"True but then we'll have more men to face at the front gate when we need to take it." Harion Karstark pointed.

"Not if we draw their attention away again and Cedric has prepared a few things for that." Will smirked.

"All tested and ready to be used, your grace." Cedric assured him.

"All warfare is based on deception, my friends. And I've got plenty of tricks up my sleeves. Still, we'll need to be prepared to infiltrate the city. We have a day to get ready so prepare. In three days, the Wise Masters shall join the Masters of Astapor in death." Will told them and they all nodded. "Get ready, get some food and get plenty of rest. We'll reconvene tomorrow to go over any last details."

One by one they left the tent to go about their business as Grey Worm began ordering his Unsullied into position for their distraction. Hercules and the others went to relax and get their gear ready along with the others. Edric and Gendry walked into the tent after everyone left to talk to their older brother.

"Don't bother asking because neither of you are coming on the mission." Will told them both without even looking up from the map.

"Oh, come on, Will." Edric was quite frankly getting sick of being treated like a child.

"You let us fight in the battle outside of Astapor. How is this any different?" Gendry asked.

"Because this isn't a battle, it's a stealth mission. We'll need to move quickly and be prepared for every eventuality and you two aren't ready yet. I've made up my mind." Will walked around the table to his two brothers and took them by the shoulder. "I won't be able to keep my mind focused on my mission if I'm worried about you two. I wouldn't forgive myself is something happened. Keep to your training and you'll get your chances soon enough."

They nodded as he pulled them close and hugged them before they left. Once they were out of earshot, Edric leaned over to Gendry. "We're not actually going to listen to him, are we?"

"What do you think? We just need to find some new clothes and possibly some larger boots with blocks to make us taller." Gendry planned and the two quickly went in search of the items they needed.

Hercules was walking through the camp with Amphiaraus to talk. "What do you think of the plan? Seems a bit of a risk." Hercules stated.

"True but that boy has seemed to defy every single expectation I had for him since we've met. Must be a gift from the gods." Amphiaraus commented as he sipped some water.

"So, have you seen if we win or lose?" Hercules asked.

"The gods have been annoyingly silent on that matter. What they have told me is that I'm soon to discover if there really is an afterlife." Amphiaraus replied as Hercules stopped.

"When will you die?"

"Soon and in a place that looks an awful lot like hell. As always, the gods are generous with hints but cheap on specifics." Amphiaraus chuckled when he noticed Hercules' expression. "Oh, cheer up Hercules. I've lived, not always well but long enough. I'm ready for what's next."

Hercules nodded and the two shared a hug, knowing that the next few days could be the last.

The next day, the prince met with everyone to discuss the plan and everyone's roles in taking Yunkai. Harion Karstark, Smalljon Umber, and Garlan Tyrell would be with Grey Worm and the Unsullied army acting as the main distraction. Even just setting up the Unsullied army got their attention which is exactly what they needed. Will, Ser Arthur Dayne, Hundred Eyes, Thoros, Lord Dondarrion, Hercules, Atalanta, Autolycus, Amphiaraus, Tydeus, along with some Dothraki, and some Stormlands and Northern men-at-arms made up the team that would be infiltrating Yunkai.

Will was in his tent, kneeling on a fur blanket with his eyes closed as he was doing some meditating. Hundred Eyes suggested he do it every now and then to help relax his mind and doing it before a battle would be beneficial. After enough meditating he got suited up in his jacket and holstered his daggers in his boots before putting a throwing knife belt around his waist. Missandei and Cedric helped him put on his light metal greaves before putting on his Samurai and making sure his shoulder pauldrons were in place. He then slipped on his vambraces and checked his hidden blades to make sure they were fine before tying Storm's Wrath around his waist and putting his quiver on his back. Since he was taking his quiver and bow, he was leaving Wolf's Fang behind and despite the risk that his sword would make some noise, he would need it.

"Best of luck, your grace." Cedric pat him on the shoulder as Will nodded and Missandei gave him a hug for luck as he stepped out of the tent, pulling up his hood and mask. He and his group quickly and stealthily left the camp and made their way to the side gate of the city, sticking to the darkness to avoid being seen.

The two guards by the gate were killed by arrows and their bodies hid by the rocks and shrubbery as the group gathered together for their infiltration but also to hide their second distraction. They placed down small pouches and containers of their black powder within the area along with modified tubing similar to the ones they used on the arrows in the Nest of Bees.

"Are you sure these things will work?" Thoros wondered as he connected the pouches to the tubing via an oil-soaked rope.

"Cedric hasn't let us down yet so I don't see any reason he should start now." Will replied, placing down the last rolled tube before he rolled out the rope and poured a lot of oil on the ground around it. Once that was done, he took note of the surrounding buildings on the wall to remember for later before crouching over to front. "How are things here?"

"The patrols just left so we move now before they come back." Lord Dondarrion told him.

"Right, let's move." Will told them as Ser Arthur and some others carried up a large battering ram like pole. They raced to the wall as fast as they could but doing care to make little noise. When they were close, Will grabbed onto the battering ram like pole and raced up the wall, using the pole to hold up his weight as a thick iron crossbow bolt pierced into the spot above him which he grabbed onto.

Hercules and the others looked at the crossbow men who fired and reloaded the heavy bolts, essentially making mock handles for the prince to grab as he climbed the wall. While that was ridiculous to think about as an idea, given Will's agility and expertise with climbing it made a lot of sense. "Huh, that's actually quite clever." He muttered.

After about ten or so crossbow bolts, Will had made it up to the top of the wall but stopped as a bowman walked by for his patrol. When he was close, Will propped up and stabbed him in the heart with his hidden blade before pulling him down, throwing him down to the ground. Ser Arthur signaled the others who quickly came over to remove the body. The prince climbed up onto the wall and quickly fired an arrow at a bowman who was coming from the other direction. He peaked around to make sure there were no other patrols coming so he signaled the others to come.

Ser Arthur signaled them, and they came over with a ladder and quietly placed it on the wall before climbing up. Once Atalanta was up, she and Will quickly killed the two guards below them, guarding the gate from the city side. When the last man was up, they pulled the ladder up with them and hid it on the wall as they grouped together one last time.

"Ok, so far so good. We know what we have to do. Hercules, lead your team over to the main gate but stay quiet and hide any bodies you kill." Will told them.

"Right." Hercules signaled them to start heading down the stairs from the wall and into the city. His team was himself, Autolycus, Tydeus, Atalanta, two Dothraki and some of the men-at-arms while the rest would go another way. It was better for their chances of not being discovered if they went in two groups. "Best of luck."

"You too." Will shook his hand as Hercules went to join his team. Ser Arthur and the others took the stairs down the wall while Will jumped onto the roof of a nearby building, wanting to keep a bird's eye view of everything. Hercules and his team quickly left as Ser Arthur led the others down the street, keeping watch for any patrols while Will kept watch on him.

Will jumped from one rooftop to another and stuck the landing so he didn't roll and make more noise. He saw an archer posted up on the roof as a lookout, so he moved in closer and fired an arrow, getting him right into the head before taking his position in the lookout post. Ser Arthur and his team hugged the walls of building as they crossed an intersection and kept moving towards the main gate. One Yunkish patrol guard walked by where he was quickly grabbed from behind and had his throat cut by Thoros and the body hidden in an alley. They kept on moving when with Will on the rooftops while Ser Arthur and the others were on the ground.

Hercules and his team moved through the narrow streets and side passages that were common close to the wall as they were going to hug that area to make their way to the main gate rather than risk heading further into the city. Atalanta and Autolycus would deal with archers, slingers or lookouts while knives and daggers dealt with the ones who got close. They kept moving and stopped only to hide a body but were closing in on the main gate when all of sudden a Yunkish squad of soldiers charged from the alleyways and nearby homes and attacked.

Hercules bashed one in the head with his club and tossed his body away as Amphiaraus parried a sword and sliced the soldier's neck with his dagger before throwing it at another. Atalanta fired arrow after arrow along with using the blades on her bow to cut down man after man. Amphiaraus extended the blades out of his spear point and moved with precision and purpose as he took down guard after guard. The other members of their party were doing good but one Dothraki got his knocked into a wall and a spear tip in his gut. That soldier got an axe in the back curtesy of a helmeted man-at-arms who quickly turned and slashed another soldier in the chest before using his axe to disarm another guard, sweep his leg out from under him and then finish it up with a final axe swing to his chest. Hercules killed another guard and turned to bash the last one, but a spear was thrown and went through his chest. Hercules looked and saw a man-at-arms had saved him but before they could do anything more guards showed up along with archers who trained their bows at them and dark-skinned warriors wearing white-furred pelts who were very familiar. They were surrounded and outnumbered.

"Hell." Hercules looked at the others and they all knew they were screwed.

"Lay down your arms." One of the guards shouted in common tongue. "Or die."

Hercules nodded to the others and they did, throwing their weapons down but Autolycus and Hercules hid small knives in their boots. The guards came over and took their weapons and secured their new captives, removing everything from their possession. A guard removed the helmets of two of the man-at-arms so Hercules and the others could see it was Gendry and Edric.

"What are you two doing here?" Hercules was not expecting them to be here and felt that this was the worse possible scenario.

"Doing what our brother would have done." Gendry told him as he and Edric were grabbed and hit in the back of the head, knocking them unconscious. Hercules rushed over to them only to get hit in the gut with a club. Tydeus, Atalanta, and Autolycus rushed over but were held back and soon knocked out as well.

"Take them to the dungeons. The Wise Masters will deal with them." A captain told his men and they nodded, doing as they were told.

Back with the prince, he stuck to the rooftops and managed to find a tall enough building so he could continue to track Ser Arthur and his group. They were closing in on the main gate, but he also saw a lot of guard movement and chatter which wasn't a good thing. Either they found the dead bodies or Hercules and the others were found so time for the second distraction. He took out an arrow with a fat coated cloth tip and lit it using a nearby torch. Looking over at the wall until he saw the buildings he committed to memory from when they placed the barrels of black powder, he took a deep breath and pulled the arrow back before releasing. The arrow flew through the air above the city and while it was ridiculous to think he'd be able land a direct hit on the barrels from that distance, he could hit a larger target like the oil-soaked ground next to the powder.

His arrow found its mark, landing in the oil-soaked area he marked, and the fire spread until it managed to light the rope which led to the pouches. Those then went off and outside the walls of Yunkai, bright colored flashes of light erupted into the air inspiring awe and amazement. With Cedric's brilliance, he found that black powder was dangerous yet but also beautiful is handled right. After a lot of trial and error, adding some colored dyes and a thickening agent to keep it together and then wrapping it on a tube turned it into a projectile that shoots into the air in a marvelous display of flashing light and loud booms. Still working on a name but it was beautiful and the perfect distraction.

The lightshow outside the wall drew the attention of all the guards in Yunkai who quickly rushed over to the side gate to see what was going on. Will climbed down the building as the light show in the air picked up speed and became more frequent. When he finally touched down on the rooftop of a smaller building, a huge black powder explosion went off outside the wall with a loud boom and huge flash of red. With the guards distracted, he raced across the rooftops as fast as possible to the main gate as Ser Arthur and the others knew it was time.

Ser Arthur and the others watched from an alley as many of the guards from the main gate rushed away to go to the side gate and deal with the massive explosion. When many of the guards were gone, Arthur nodded to his team and they all took out tied and bundled pouches before lighting the wicks with a torch. They threw them over at the main gate as the pouches exploded into puffs of purple smoke that many of the guards and archers were caught in. Rather then struggle for breath and bleed from the eyes, the smoke made them all feel weird before they all fell down and went into a deep sleep. They'd wake up later but by then it'd be too late.

Ser Arthur and the others ran from their cover over to the main gate as an archer fired at one of the slingers on the top of the wall, hitting him in the chest. A guard that wasn't caught in the smoke drew his sword and called for help as Ser Arthur parried his blade and sliced his head off. There was a small fight by the gate as Ser Arthur and his group dealt with the remaining guards quickly and brutally. Thoros lit his sword and sliced through two men as Lord Dondarrion shield bashed one in the side and slashed him in the back before covering his flank and then stabbed his attacker in the gut. Hundred Eyes blocked with his sword and cut down guard after guard with skilled expertise when he heard movement nearby and smirked.

Ser Arthur was duel-wielding his swords, taking out five guards by himself when he saw an archer rush from the top of the wall and aim at him only to get an arrow in the chest and fall to the ground. He turned and saw Will running across the rooftops where he jumped the gap between two buildings while firing an arrow which flew through the air and killed a guard who tried to kill one of the man-at-arms from behind.

Ser Arthur and the others went to clear the left guard tower while he cleared the right. One of the archers in the right tower aimed at Will but missed so Will fired back and hit his mark. He jumped rooftop to the wall where he climbed up to the walkway and saw a guard rush out of the tower entrance, so he threw a throwing knife at his arm before rushing forward and sinking his hidden blade into his throat. Once inside the tower, he quickly climbed the stairs until he made it to the top where the last guard slashed at him with his sword but parried it with his hidden blades before stabbing him in the gut and then slashed him across the throat. He began cranking the gate wheel, opening the left gate slowly and slowly and once it was opened enough, he moved the dead guard into position and used him as a weight to keep the crank from moving back.

He climbed out of the tower window and onto the wall where he saw Ser Arthur and the others rush out, having opened up their side of the gate as well. "Gate is open."

"Good, send a rider on a horse to the army. Tell them to quickly head for the gate. Ser Arthur, stay here and keep them from retaking the towers. Use the powder to keep them back." Will told him.

"Where are you going?" Ser Arthur asked.

"Hercules and the others never came, and I overheard some of the guards talk about prisoners and dungeons. I'm heading there now to get them. Stay here for the army and don't let them take the towers back." Will ordered, taking arrows from a nearby barrel and refilling his quiver.

"Your grace, let us go with you! It's too dangerous!" Thoros told him.

"No, I need to move quickly, and you'll just slow me down! Stay here, that's an order!" Will quickly jumped from the wall and landed on the roof of a building before making his way back into the city. He spotted two guards running towards the main gate, so he jumped from the roof and landed a hidden blade assassination on one of the guards. The other guard unsheathed his sword but was disarmed quickly and thrown up against the wall with a hidden blade held at his throat. "Where is the dungeon?"

"What?"

Will moved the blade closer. "Fighters were captured earlier and taking to the dungeons. Where?!"

"Underneath the second pyramid." The guard answered.

"Thank you." Will punched him across the face, knocking him out when he an arrow struck him in the left shoulder. "SHIT!"

He clutched his shoulder in pain as it hurt but thankfully it didn't go too deep. His leather armor didn't do much against the arrow but the light metal covering he had on the leather pauldron managed to stop the arrow enough so it didn't dig into his shoulder as it would have if he was just wearing leather. The shot came from an archer down the street who was soon joined by about twenty guards who soon charged him. He pulled the blood-stained arrow out and dropped it before charging at the guards, vaulting off a barrel and landing on a guard feet first.

Rolling from the impact, he quickly pushed a spear to the side and stabbed the spearmen in the chest with his hidden blade before rolling over his back where grabbed a spear handle and stabbed the man in the throat. Then using the spear, Will stabbed a guard in the gut after spinning to avoid a sword slash. Another guard came at him with his sword, but he grabbed his wrist, twisted his arm behind his back and using the sword to block a spear. He kicked the spearman back and used the guard's own sword to impale him from behind. A spearmen came with a wide swipe, but he ducked under it, punched the spearmen in the gut and then slashed his throat when he was grabbed from behind. He threw his head back and hit his grabbed in the nose which allowed him to quickly move out of the way of a sword slash that killed the guard. Will headbutted the guard and kicked out his leg before blocking a dagger swipe and punching the man in the face and kicking him back. Another guard came in with his dagger, but he grabbed his wrist and twisted his arm, so he stabbed guard with it in the gut, then ducking to avoid another sword and slamming the guard's head into the wall.

He unsheathed Storm's Fang and quickly slashed the man in the back of the legs before doing a behind the back block and elbowing the guard in the face. That left him open to a slash across the chest. Will sidestepped a spear and sliced it in two before spinning his sword into reverse grip and slashed the man in the stomach, then blocked another sword and using his hidden blade to slash his attacker's throat. More guards were coming and he couldn't fight them all himself so he tossed several pouches onto the ground and threw a torch at them, causing them to explode into a large puff of black smoke. He disappeared into the smoke as the guards coughed up a lung to try and find him, but they didn't and just found the corpses of the dead guards who tried to stop him.

Underneath the second/smaller pyramid of Yunkai laid the dungeons where criminals and especially disobedient slaves were kept and punished for their crimes. Unlike things in the city that were elegant, beautiful, and reflecting of the Wise Master's pompous and superior nature the dungeons were the opposite. Dank rocks, stone cells, and horrors you wouldn't want to endure.

Hercules was coming to after being knocked out and stripped of his armor and weapons leaving him just his pants and his boots. His arms were kept apart and chained to the rocks so he couldn't move them, and the constant strain was tiring. He moved his head around and saw the others in cells of the dungeon when he heard a familiar growling. Through the smoke and torchlit view of the dungeons he was greeted to the sight of the three-headed monster of his nightmares. Cerberus, guardian of the underworld.

He blinked his eyes a few times and what was one a three-headed dog changed into three large black-furred wild wolves, snapping and growling at him as their eyes showed just animal anger and hungry. "Cerberus?"

"I'm afraid that is not a three-headed guardian of the underworld." Razdal mo Eras walked into view as he looked at his prisoners in delight. Once he was under their care, now they are under his. "But they are quite magnificent."

"Yes, aren't they?" Another voice was heard as that figure walked into view, showing a neatly dressed man wearing armor/robes that weren't common with the Yunkish, long hair and an accent that wasn't from Essos. "An extraordinary species. Incredibly loyal. As long as their fed. Remember them?"

Hercules recognized the man before him as his former king and the man who casted him and his friends from their home. "Eurystheus."

"They remember you." Eurystheus said as he walked over. "Along with some others who remember you, like my new associate."

In walked another familiar individual. Large, dark-skinned and wear a white-fur pelt around his neck and carrying a large club/spear. "M'Baku?"

"Hello, Son of Zeus." M'Baku just chuckled as he saw the miserable state his former sellsword was in. "Oh, how far you've fallen."

"What are you doing here?" Hercules asked.

"Arranging to take back my kingdom. Like the prince, I'm looking into new alliances." M'Baku explained as Hercules managed to get to his feet and saw the others, all awake and witnessing everything. "King Eurystheus and I have a little business arrangement. His army helps me retake my island by force along with providing the forces necessary to take back Astapor while I provide the Masters with anyone they could wish for. And as a bonus, I get to settle the score with you for betraying me."

M'Baku punched Hercules in the gut, sending him down one knee as Tydeus and the others tried to get free. The Summer Isle former king smirked as Hercules looked at the wolves and realized the truth. "Cerberus only exists in my mind."

Eurystheus walked up to Hercules to gloat and soak in all this wonderful heartache. "Speak a little louder, Hercules." He slapped him across the face, partially to wake him and partially because he could do that. "I didn't quite catch that."

"The wolves…they were there that night. The wolves were there. You drugged me." Hercules surmised. "The wolves were there the night my family was murdered."

Eurystheus smirked and took it all in while Hercules looked at him in horror. "My men told me how your children screamed as my wolves gnawed on their bones." Hercules struggled against his chains to kill him but couldn't. The others had looks of horrors as they heard everything. "As their fangs despoiled your daughter's pure flesh. When people called out your name louder than mine, you see, when they saw you as a god, how long before they saw you as their king?"

"I wanted nothing!" Hercules shouted.

"Precisely! Your sin, Hercules was that you had no ambition! I can deal with an ambitious man! He can be bought! But a man who wants nothing has no price!" Eurystheus shouted in his face. "Killing you would have turned Athens against me. I had to ruin your name."

"MY WIFE! MY CHILDREN!"

"Well, you have our permission to join them in death. All of you!" M'Baku shouted.

"I thought about chaining you up and selling you as slaves, but this is much better." Razdal signaled one of his men who walked over to the cell holding Edric and Gendry. "What better way to start then with the prince's bastard brothers."

"No! Get off! Get the fuck off!" Edric and Gendry fought back but the guard backhanded Gendry to the ground and took Edric out of the cell before locking it back up. He dragged him over to the middle of the dungeons as the others shouted curses and struggled to get free.

"NO! NO! EDRIC!" Gendry banged on his cell doors to try and get free.

"Let him go!" Atalanta shouted as Tydeus banged on his bars. Autolycus slipped his knife from his boot and tried to open his lock but a guard saw him and knocked it away before punching him in the face.

"NO! NO!" Hercules shouted as Edric struggled and fought back but was dragged to an executioner's block.

"You'll pay for this, fucker! You hear me, bastard?! I'll get you for this! My brother will kill you and everyone else who works for you! FUCK YOU!" Edric shouted only to get punched across the face and strapped down to the block.

Hercules struggled and struggled to get free as Amphiaraus looked at him. "Who are you?! Are you a murderer? Are you a mercenary who turns his back on the innocent?"

"FUCK YOU! YOU'RE GOING TO BURN FOR THIS! ALL OF YOU!" Edric shouted.

"Are you only the legend?" Amphiaraus asked his friend. "Or are you the truth behind the legend? We believe in you. William believes in you. We have faith in you. Have faith in yourself."

Hercules began to pull and charged as his constant struggle only motivated him further. "Be the man you are! Remember the deeds you have performed, the Labors you have accomplished!" Amphiaraus shouted as the executioner placed the axe on Edric's neck.

"FUCK YOU IN THE ASS!" Edric shouted as the others shouted in curses and pleas.

"Now, tell me! Who…are…you?!"

"I AM HERCULES!" He ripped the chains from the rocks and charged forward, leaping through the air slamming the rocks onto the executioner. The axe dropped to the ground next to the stone as Edric breathed a sigh of relief.

"Release the wolves!" Razdal shouted only to get an arrow in the back. The guard released the wolves as Hercules ripped Edric free of the block.

"Get back!" Hercules pushed him aside as the wolves pounced on him. One digging its teeth into his right forearm and the other two gnawing at his legs. He punched one of the wolves away only for the second to chomp him on the shoulder but then it let out a whine in pain and let go. The wolf on his leg also did the same as Hercules saw Will leap through the air and fire three arrows at the wolves, injuring them and making it a fair fight. Hercules grabbed one and threw it at the wall before grabbing the second by the mouth as it tried to bite him. He snapped its jaw open as the third one pounced at him.

"Hercules!" Will unsheathed Storm's Wrath and threw it. Hercules grabbed the handle and bisected the wolf in two. Edric had taken the axe and was cutting the locks off the cell doors as Will shot the lock off of Amphiaraus's door with an arrow who walked up to Hercules with pride.

"The gods have revealed your innocence. The final labor is complete."

"Not yet." Hercules handed Will his sword back. "Thank you."

"You'll never have to thank me." Will told him as he looked at the Razdal on the ground with an arrow in his back and then at the gate where Eurystheus and M'Baku escaped. "I don't know about the rest of you, but we should do some cleansing of the pyramid. Starting with those two."

"Sounds about right." Edric walked over to Razdal with the axe. "I told you I get you for this."

"Please…mercy…" Razdal begged only for Edric to raise the axe up and part his head from his body.

"Sorry. All out of mercy." Edric said before joining the others who grabbed weapons off of the dead guards. They walked over to the gate and Hercules lifted it open.

"Doesn't take a vision to know what waits for us up there." Amphiaraus muttered.

"Then stay behind me." Will told him as he took lead. He killed two guards with arrows before unsheathing Storm's Wrath and going nuts. Hercules grabbed one guard and bashed him into another before crushing both their heads. The others picked up the weapons the guards dropped as Amphiaraus used a sword to slash his neck when he saw a guard throw a spear at him. It passed through a torch, so it was aflame, and he knew what it was.

"My time." He dropped the sword and closed his eyes, waiting for his death when an arrow knocked it off course, so it hit the wall. Another arrow fired by Will killed the guard who threw it. "Excuse me. That was my moment, my fate."

"Your welcome." Will pat him on the shoulder as they pressed forward.

Will slashed another guard with Storm's Wrath as Hercules picked up another guard and bashed his head into the wall before using him as an arrow shield. Autolycus and Tydeus took care of the archers.

"I'm going after Eurystheus." Hercules told them and the others nodded, taking care of the guards.

M'Baku ran away with his tail between his legs as Eurystheus scrambled to find an exit but saw Hercules was right behind him. He tossed fire pits and torches, but it did nothing to keep him back.

"Hercules, listen to me. None of this is my fault. You see, it was the other kings in Greece. They turned me against you. Poisoned my mind. They're the bad guys. I like you." Eurystheus begged but it did nothing. "No, stop. Stop! I command you to stop! I'm your king! You took an oath to obey me! You swore to Zeus!"

"I swerve another king." Hercules told him as he grabbed Eurystheus and threw him through a door into another room.

"Wait, wait!" Eurystheus crawled away. "You're a mercenary. You fight for gold. I have plenty of gold. Name your price. Find it in your heart to forgive."

Hercules just grabbed him by the throat and lifted him into the air with one hand. "You want forgiveness?" He threw him into the wall with enough force that he couldn't move. Hercules walked over and grabbed his former king, taking the dagger from his belt before stabbing it straight through his heart. He even twisted it, so it hurt a lot more. "Ask my family for forgiveness."

And like that, he had completed his last labor and killed the man who murdered his family. He breathed a sigh of relief when a whip lashed itself around his neck and yanked him onto the floor. Hercules struggled to breath as he saw it was M'Baku who held the whip. He sneered at his former sellsword and walked forward with Hercules' own club. "I can at least take the satisfaction in killing you. When I kill a demi-god, what will they think of me?"

He raised the club over his head only for a sword burst through is back and out the front. M'Baku gurgled blood as his body was tossed to the side so Hercules could see it was Will who delivered the final blow. "Don't have to worry about that now."

Hercules undid the whip around his neck and took a few deep breaths as Will held his hand out and helped him back to his feet. "Thank you."

"My pleasure." Will handed him his club. "The Unsullied have already started marching into the city and dealing with any opposition but it won't be much."

"Let's finish the Wise Masters then." Hercules told him as the two rejoined the others and began going through the pyramid and dealing with all the Masters and slavers they came across. The guards didn't stand a chance and seeing what the masters were doing in the pyramids with their slaves…no one shed a tear over their deaths.

Will kicked the door in of one of the Wise Masters who ruled the city and saw him on the bed with two bed slaves who screamed in fright and scrambled from the bed. His two guards rushed over to stop Will, but he charged forward and did a leaping punch with his hidden blade, stabbing one of the guards in the chest before spinning to a knee and finishing him off with a hidden blade in the back. The other guard looked at Will in fear and dropped his sword before running away.

Will walked over and grabbed the Master before throwing him across the room and into his desk. The Master scrambled away, grabbing a quill from the ground and stabbed at Will who grabbed his wrist, twisted his arm and then stabbed him in the neck with his hidden blade.

"All the wise masters are dead and you're the last. It's over." Will told him only for the Master to actually manage a smirk.

"It's not over. Valar Morghulis." He said before his body went limp and his eyes lost their life.

Will looked back at the two bed slaves who looked at him in terror. "Peace. I'm not here to hurt you but free your city from the Masters. I'm William the Conqueror."

They recognized his name and bowed their heads, thanking him for saving them. He looked out the window and heard a horn blow go through the city. That was a message from Garlan signifying that the city was theirs. While he would normally be happy, he couldn't help but shake a funny feeling after what that Master said so he began searching through his desk for an answer. And what he found made him understand why.

Hercules and the others walked out of the pyramid to see the Unsullied standing at attention as many of the guards and soldiers who surrendered were spared. Many of the slaves who had found out what happened began cheering and celebrating. Ser Arthur walked over to see Hercules and the others looking worse for wear but also saw Edric and Gendry.

"What in Seven Hells are you two doing here?" He asked.

"We joined the mission." They replied.

"The two disguised themselves in helmets and nearly got themselves killed." Hercules answered. "But they also proved very capable and saved my life."

"We did pretty good. Our training is coming along nicely." Gendry told them all. "I know Will worries for us, but we should be helping him."

"It was brave of you both to do such a thing." Hundred Eyes commented. "But your brother will not be as happy."

"That's an understatement." They heard and saw Will walk out of the pyramid over to them. "You two are fucking reckless."

He smacked them both upside the head rather painfully as they clutched their heads and tended to their bruised scalps. "We just did what we thought you would do." Gendry told him.

"And you did do something similar during the Greyjoy Rebellion." Edric added.

"That's a fair point." Arthur muttered when he saw the look he was getting. "Sorry."

"That's fair but tonight both of you could have been killed." Will told them.

"Any day one of us could die. We'd want to do it helping you." They both said.

"I'm furious at you both but I'm just glad you're alive." Will brought them into a fierce hug before smacking them both upside the head once more. "But do something like that again and I'll kill you myself."

"Understood." Gendry replied.

"Yunkai has followed Astapor, your grace. Once the Unsullied marched into the city, the guards and soldiers tossed down their weapons and surrendered. We did it." Ser Arthur told him.

"Yes, but it's not over yet." Will pulled out a piece of parchment from his pocket. "A final fuck you from the Wise Masters."

"What is it?" Hercules wondered as Arthur took the parchment and read it over.

"The final correspondence between the Wise Masters of Yunkai, Master of Meereen, Masters of Volantis and Harry Strickland." Will told them. "The Golden Company is coming."

End of chapter 6

Yunkai has fallen but the battle is far from over as the Wise Masters had one last gambit and its coming for them. Hercules has finally completed his last labor which couldn't have come at a better time as an army is coming for them now. And this time it won't be like another Dothraki horde.

Next chapter, no rest for the weary. Despite taking Yunkai and killing the Wise Masters, their last act set the Golden Company in Will's path. This just might be his toughest trial yet and he won't escape unscathed.

I hoped you guys like the chapter. I know it took a while, but I've been busy. A lot of plot stuff has been set up for the next chapter, including the introduction of Kinvara who will play a part in everything while Will is in Essos. I hope everyone in the US has a nice Thanksgiving and everyone stays safe and healthy. Love your families and be nice to each other. Until next time.
