Back in Pikarigaoka, Hiroko came back home with a tired look. Ever since her husband passed away, she did her best raising her kids, Seiji and Mao, into decent people. Her job as a courier leaves her little time with them. She's happy that her friend Kaori lets them have dinner with her daughter, whom she believes her son will be happy with in the future. Hiroko sighs, turning her head to a photo of a young man giving a younger Seiji a piggyback ride. Shoichi, Seiji's late father after he caught a mysterious illness, but made her skeptical. Her husband didn't show signs having a illness since they're latest visit to the hospital. It's like that 'illness' just came. Hiroko sat on the couch, till she noticed something, where are her kids? Ever since Seiji and Megumi disappeared months ago cause they went 'camping with a friend', she became more worried about them. She and Kaori swore they saw a scar on Megumi's midriff. And she was wearing different clothes instead of the ones she sees her wear everyday. This made her suspicious, have they went on a quick vacation without telling her? Did Megumi wanted to try out a new look for fashion? Why did they have lockets with Mao's gifts inside of them?
Hiroko began to think, she gets up and walks to her room. She goes to her closet and pull out a chest and opens it. She takes out a few pictures and show her, Shoichi, Kaori, and Masaru in their high school years. All gathered and laughing in front of the school. She then takes out another picture that shows them all in a beach, alongside four other people, one of them having a mustache. She sighs with a smile, remembering all those happy memories. Then she pulls out a strange box and opens it, revealing it to be a gray crystal.
"Ow..." Megumi groaned with swirls on her eyes and sees shes on a pile of the rest of the Star Knights after "Peach" was revealed to be a fake that exploded in her face. And the Baby Bros, with Mao, Eri, Teru and Shiori were on top of her.
"Are you okay, Megumi?" Seiji muttered.
"Yes." Megumi rubbed her head before realizing something. "Why are Mao, Eri, Teru and Shiori doing here on this dangerous adventure?"
"GET THE HELL OFF OF ME!" Bakugo snarled since he was in the bottom of the pile.
"Shut it." Seiji glared with red eyes. Stay there in suffocate. He thought before shaking his head. After the group got off of the pile, they see they are now under the Koopaseum.
"Are we in a cave?" Yui asked.
"It seems we are buried 10 feet underground by the impact of the explosion." Double D said.
"Dang it!" Eddy grunted. "We should've known it was a trick by those aliens!"
"Pipe down dorky, we'll bite them back!" Kevin said.
"But, how are we gonna get out of this cave?" Lip said.
"Do what me and my bro do best, walk around!" Mario said, picking up they're baby selves and roamed around the place, searching for a way out. Then they encountered ghosts. Dark Boos for example.
"What the, Ghosts!?" Kanade exclaimed in shock.
"O-Obake!?" Hazuki shivered and hid behind Luigi. But unknown to everyone, Kodama hid behind a rock and was shivering.
"Afraid of ghosts too?" Luigi asked, as she nodded. "I know the feeling..."
"There was that one time she almost went insane." Aiko said. "We don't talk about it."
"Good thing I brought this!" Luigi said, pulling out a strange vacuum out of... somewhere?
"Dude, did you took that out of your pants?" Kengo asked.
"Don't judge me." Luigi then used it to suck up the Dark Boos. "E. Gadd will be impressed when I found rare Boos."
"He studies ghosts?" Coco asked.
"Who you gonna call?" Ed laughed and sees a crack on a nearby wall and runs to it. "I'm a Woodpecker!" He smashes his head on it, breaking it. "Expect with rocks."
"Yeesh, did he became dumb like that?" Azuki cringed.
"Well, he was always like that when I first met him." Eddy said.
"Well I think Mom kept on dropping him." Sarah said.
"Hello! Welcome to Monty Mart!" A Monty Mole said, behind the destroyed wall. "We don't get many customers here."
"Well duh, we're underground for crying out loud!" Another Monty Mole said. "We should've set the shop in Dimble Wood.
"Well, we could buy some stuff here." Mario said, while buying a few items for they're adventure before paying them.
"Thank you, come again!" The Monty Mole thanked before he somehow puts the whole mart alongside the other Monty Mole in a suitcase and digs a tunnel.
"Well that was something." Haruko said before they all continued and they encountered a sarcophagus.
"Isn't that one of those stone beds Mummies sleep in?" Mina asked.
"They're called sarcophagus, Ashido." Yaomomo corrected before it begins to shake.
"Do you guys have any friends that is a mummy?" Megumi asks Spyro.
"Well there's Grave Clobbler, but he's trappable.
Then the sarcophagus opens as everyone prepares what comes out of it... only for it to be a Snifit dressed as a pharaoh.
"...What the heck is that?" Doremi asked, before the Snifit shoots small projectiles at some of their faces and gets back in it's sarcophagus... that begins to take off like a rocket ship and blasts off through the roof.
"...The Author was bored, don't ask." Eddy looked at the screen. The heroes then continued to roam underground while solving puzzles and defeating enemies, but most of them were defeated by Bakugo... cause he's Bakugo. He's always angry.
"Um... why is the ground shaking?" Doremi asked. Then Petey popped out of the ground.
"It's that plant!" Jimmy cried out as some of them got into a battle stance, but they see Kylie tied up and dangling on the roof.
"Unhand me you clods! This minute!" She growled as see the Shroob walking forward with a axe. "Um... could I say my last words?"
"No." A Shroob bluntly said.
"...GUYS, HELP ME! I SHOWED YOU THE ENTRANCE TO THIS PLACE! I DON'T WANNA BE PLANT BAIT!" Then the Shroob swung it's axe, cutting the rope and lettting her fall. "AAAAARGH!"
"KYLIE!" Mario and Luigi yelled in shock.
"One For All: Full Cowl!" Izuku activated his quirk and jumps towards Kylie, grabbing her before Petey can eat her alive.
"Thanks, Broccoli Boy!"
"It's a hero's duty to save people after all." He smiled.
Petey growled before roaring at the group as they got into a fighting stance.
"Let's prune this plant!" Megumi exclaimed before summoning her crossbow.
"Megumi, that was terrible." Seiji deadpanned.
"I know." She slumped, before noticing her crossbow. "Huh, I forgot I had this.
"You can even shoot lasers." Seiji reminded.
"Didn't we also transformed?"
"We'll transform if it's necessary.
"Cue Boss Music!" Ed yelled.
"Is he always gonna yell that?" Kanade said.
"He's my brother, just deal with it." Sarah said.
"Let's fight already!" Azuki yelled before jumping in the air and kicks Petey in the face but he slaps her away with it's leaf hands and spits out goop.
"Ew!" Nazz cried in digust and dodges it then her shuriken at the enlarge plant.
Megumi fires energy arrows at him, before Petey jumps forward to maul her, as she jumps away and launches a fireball.
Bakugo fires explosions at it's face and Eijirou punches it, then Denki electrifies it.
Petey growls and begins to spin, spitting it's goop everywhere as everyone goes for cover.
"Gross, it's puking everywhere!" Mina said in disgust.
"That's the goop that made Delfino all messy!" Mario revealing.
"Time to clean up!" Aiko said as she aims her trident and fires a current of water to clean the goop and some at Petey's mouth, filling him up. Mario and Luigi then ground pound it on it's belly, causing it to puke out the water and Hana launches an ice spell at the current, freezing it in Petey's mouth. The giant Piranha Plant then crushes the frozen current with it's jaws and growls before digging into ground, making the heroes go wary.
"He'll pop out any second." Seiji said cautiously, before Petey pops out of the ground and goes for the Eds then...
CHOMP!
Bit they're heads off.
"EDS!" The Cul-De-Sac Kids yelled in shock and everyone else were horrified... but the bodies were not limping and Petey felt like he was chewing on nothing until the Ed's heads pop out of they're 'headless' bodies.
"Good thing we're cartoons!" Eddy grinned as Double D was sighing in relief.
"We're like turtles!" Ed grinned before his ring glows and his arms becomes a big tentacle. "*Gasp* I'M MUTATING!" He then uses it to slap Petey in it's face, then Petey fires a tornado then it's goop, merging it into a goop-Nado that splats all over Sarah and Jimmy.
"Gross, it's all ooey and gooey!" Jimmy cried out and Sarah punches Petey in it's belly. Petey then stomps on the ground, causing the cave to shake, making stalagmites to fall off, making the heroes scatter to avoid getting impaled but some were destroyed by Eijirou's body and Bakugo's explosions. Petey then spins around, it became a tornado, causing the debris and fly around him.
"Can we end this battle now?" Hazuki said, going for cover.
"Then let's finish it!" Mario said as he ran forward alongside Seiji and Megumi. Seiji lifts his hand in the air and summons a thunderbolt on Petey, paralyzing him and the tornado stopped. Megumi than drops to the ground and sweep kicks Petey's legs, causing him to fall on his back. Aiko then gets an opportunity to spray water into it's mouth, as his belly began to bloat until his belly button is exposed. Then the Mario Bros ground pounded Petey's bloated belly, causing at to puke out the water. Then Luigi takes out a Fire Flower and the Bros transformed into their fire forms and launched alot of fireballs into Petey's mouth. As his belly gets bigger and bigger, he explodes with nothing but his head left.
"Well that was unnecessarily brutal." Aiko cringed, before the cooked head coughs out a Cobalt Star shard.
"Hey, another shard!" Megumi said they collected it and it connects with the other two.
"Whoo, you all gave that thing a noggin!" Kylie came up to them. "I'm in your debt when you saved me from that oversized veggie!"
"No problem, Kylie!" Megumi winked. Then Mao walked up to the shard and begins to stare at it... until she sees a red eye glaring at her.
"AAAHHH!" Mao screamed and falls on her butt, as Seiji ran up to her while the rest stared in confusion. "Mao, what's wrong?" He asked.
"T-That thing! It was looking at me!" Mao pointed at the shard in fear. Shiori then walked up to it, and uses her power to speak to it.
"...I'll...Des...ou...al..."
"Weird..." Shiori said.
"Mao, you probably saw alot of stuff when you got here." Seiji informed. "You'll need alot of rest."
"Okay Onii-Chan." Mao nodded.
"Oooookay then!" Kylie spoke up. "You all are a big group you know that? With all your power, you'll stop those fungus in no time!" She grinned. "But I got something that will lead us to victory in no time!" She then takes out a purple key with a Shroob face implanted on it.
"Wow Kylie, where did you get that?" Yui asked in astonishment.
"Found it inside of that thing's gut." Kylie pointed her thumb at Petey's bodyless head, which coughed. "With it, we'll discovered they're secrets within they're mother ship!"
"Alright! We have a chance to stop this invasion!" Misaki cheered.
"Welp, gonna be on my road now, see ya everyone!" Kylie waved and took off. "Oh yeah, I think I saw Peach in a prison cell when they brought me here."
"Really!? Where is she?" Mario asked.
"She hidden in a secret passage, up ahead." Kylie said. "Be safe everyone!"
"Thank you Kylie!" Megumi waved.
"I think she means that crack on the wall." Kanade points at the crack.
"This is a job for a man!" Eijirou grinned as he hardened his body and smashes threw the wall, breaking at easily.
"Cool!" The younger members said in amazement before walking in.
"Peach? Where are you princess?" Megumi called out.
"Megumi? Is that you?" Peach's voice is heard. "You came back, I don't believe it!"
"Peach!" Mario exclaimed as they ran up to the cell. "Are you okay?"
"I'm so glad you're here! Seiji and the rest, you all came back!" She then notices the new ones. "Alongside some new friends!"
"Glad to see you again, Peach." Aoi bowed.
"You all need to get me out of here before..." Then a silhouette looms over Peach and takes her away! "AAAAAAAHHHH!"
"PEACH!" Mario cried out as Eruptor used his lava to melt through the bars as they went through.
"Peach? Where are you?" Megumi and the rest all searched the cell, before they see a silhouette that resembles her. "PEACH!"
"Megumi wait," Seiji grabbed her shoulder. "It could be a trap."
"Princess?" Are you well?" Double D slowly walks towards her and sees a horrific sight." GOOD LORD!" He then fainted.
"DOUBLE D! What happened!?" Eddy and Ed ran to their friend and see what he saw. "HOLY SMOKES!"
"SHE HAS A PARASITE!" Ed pointed and his arm was still a tentacle before it changes back.
"Eh?" Megumi walks forward and her eyes widen. "EEEEEEEHHHH!?" Then everyone else came and were in shock.
Peach now has a purple mushroom strapped on her face before she could collapse, Azuki and Chacha caught her.
"Oh my god..." Momoka gasped.
"We have to take her back, NOW." Mario said before they all ran into the nearest Time Vortex.
Back in the present, Elder Toadsworth was walking back and forth, hoping for the heroes to come back with the princess, safe and sound.
"Princess, please be okay, please be okay, please be okay..." He repeated before tripping and rolls through the place and into a meadow. "Ugh, these old bones can't..." He then notices a hand, and sees what surprised him. Four teenage girls knocked out on the ground. "Oh my goodness, who are they? They don't look like they belong in the kingdom. Could they be like Master Seiji and Megumi? From other worlds? I have to carry them to the medical bay!" He tried to carry one of them, but fails. "Drat, looks like I need help from Soichiro and his guards! Soichrio, Help me quick! These young women need assistance!" He called out and ran back to the castle. Then a glitch appear on one of the girl's arms before sizzling out. Like it was out of power.
Short chapter was it? I think I'm going to put this on hiatus again, cause I ordered Project X Zone and enjoying it. Plus, I need a break from this story, hard work. Ciao!
