Winter is by the beach playing the flute of the song he remembered of that girl with his dog Autumn.
"That voice. I can't get it out of my head. Ohh! I've looked everywhere, Autumn."
Where did she go?
Where can she be?
When will she come again?
Calling to me?
Calling to me
Somewhere there's a girl who's like the shimmer of the wind upon the water
Somewhere there's a girl who like the glimmer of the sunlight of the sea
Somewhere there's a girl who's like a swell of endless music
Somewhere she is singing, and her song is meant for me
And her voice
It's sweet as angles sighing
And her voice
It's warm as summer's sky
And that sound, it haunts my dreams
And spins me round until it seems
I'm flying
Winter thought about the girl who that beautiful voice.
I can sense her laughter in the ripple of the waves against the shoreline
I can see her smiling in the moonlight as it settles on the sand
I can feel her waiting just beyond the pale horizon
Singing out a melody too lovely to withstand
And her voice
It's there as dusk is falling
And her voice
It's there as dawn steals by
Pure and bright, it's always near, all day, all night
And still I hear it calling
Her voice!
Come set me free…
While by the beach near his castle
Summer is in the surface world and notice something different about herself that instead of a mermaid tail she has human legs.
"Well, look at what the catfish dragged in." Kamome was on one of her human legs. "Look at ya. Look at ya. There's somethin' different. Don't tell me. I got it. It's your hairdo, right? You've been usin' the dinglehopper, right?" Summer shock her head "No? no, huh? Well, let me see. Huh. New seashells?" Summer shocked her head "No new seashells. I gotta admit I can't put my foot on it right now, but if I just stand here long enough, I know that…"
"She's got legs, you idiot!" Kavouras yelled at him. "She traded her voice to the sea witch and got legs. Geez, mon!"
"Summer's been turned into a human. She's gotta make the prince fall in love with her, and he's gotta k—he's gotta kiss her."
"And she's only got three days!" Summer tries to stand up but falls and Kavouras is freaking out "My nerves are shot! This is a catastrophe! What would her father say? I'll tell you what her father'd say. He'd say he's gonna kill himself a crab, that's what her father'd say! I'm gonna march meself straight home right now and tell him just like I should have done the minute…" Summer picked up Kavouras "And don't you shake your head at me, young lady. Maybe there's still time. If we could get that witch to give you back your voice, you could go home with all the normal fish and just be…" Kavouras saw the sad look on Summer "Just be… just be miserable for the rest of your life. All right, all right. I'll try to help ya find that prince." Summer kissed Kavouras by the check and puts him down "Boy, what a soft shell I'm turning out to be."
Winter could not stop thinking about that girl and Autumn then sniff a familiar scent and barks "Autumn? What?" and runs off and Winter runs after him. "Autumn!"
Summer was wearing a handmade dress out of sail "Ya look great, kid. Ya look sensational!" they heard a dog barking and Kururun went back into the water and Kamome flew off and Kavouras jumps into the handmade dress and Summer got onto a boulder and the dog licks her.
"Autumn!" Winter called out "Autumn!" Autumn came to his owner "Quiet, Autumn. What's gotten into you fella?" Winter then saw Summer "Oh, I see." Winter came up to Summer "Are you okay, miss? I'm sorry if this knucklehead scared you. He's harmless, really. Uh…" Winter takes one look at Summer "You… seem very familiar to me. Have we met?" Summer nodded "We have met. I knew it. You're the one, the one I've been looking for! What's your name?" Summer tried to give him her name but forgot she traded her voice to the sea witch for human legs. "What's wrong? What is it?" Summer puts her hand on her throat "You can't speak? Oh, then you couldn't be who I thought." Summer was disappointed by this but does a little charade "What-what is it? You're-you're hurt? No, no. you need help?" Summer falls of the boulder and into Winter "Whoa, whoa, careful! Careful, easy. Gee, you must have really been through something. Don't worry. Don't worry. I'll help you." Winter then takes Summer to his palace.
Summer is taking a bath "Washed up from a shipwreck." says the palace maid name Spring "Oh, the poor thing. We'll have you feeling better in no time." Spring grads the handmade dress that had Kavouras.
Kavouras is then taken for a wash and on a clothing wrack and Kavouras then gets through the window, but he finds himself in the kitchen with the fish's head cut off octopuses' tentacles in the and fish tails in the boiler, and stuffed crab and Kavouras faints.
Meanwhile in the palace dining room
"Oh, Winter, be reasonable. Nice young ladies just don't swim around rescuing people in the middle of the ocean, and then flitter off into oblivion like some..."
"I'm tellin' ya, Gimbe. She was real. I'm gonna find that girl… and I'm gonna marry her."
"Come on, honey. Don't be shy." Winter saw Summer in a beautiful white dress with a tropical color design.
"Oh, Winter, isn't she a vision?"
"Uh… you look wonderful."
Summer blushed "Come, come, come. You must be famished. Let me help you, my dear." Gimbe brought Summer to her seat at the table. "Now, quite comfy? Hmm?" Summer saw a fork but do to Kamome poor lack of knowledge of human stuff she didn't realize that Kamome poor lack of identifying human stuff would not be very helpful. One Kamome didn't realize that the dinglehopper was actually called a fork and was not used for hair brushing but for picking up food, second the snarfblatt was not made for making music but made for smoking and it was actually called a smoke pipe which Summer then blows contents into his face and Winter laughs.
"Oh, so sorry Gimbe."
"Why, Winter, that's the first time I've seen you smile in weeks."
"Ah. Very amusing." Gimbe removes the contents off his face "Well, Spring, my dear, uh, what's for dinner?"
"Oh, you're gonna love it! Chef's been fixing his specialty, stuffed crab."
In the kitchen
Pour moi?
Noh! Oui!
Les poissons, les paissons
How I love les poisons!
And to serve little fish
First, I cut off their heads
Then I pull out their bones.
Ah mais oui, ça c'est toujours délice
Les poissons, les poissons
Hee-hee-hee, hon-hon-hon
With a cleaver I hack them in two.
I pull out what's inside
And I serve it up friend.
God, I love little fishes, don't you?
Here's something for tempting the palate
Prepared in the classic technique.
First you pound the fish flat with a mallet.
Then you slash through the skin.
Give the belly a slice.
Then you rub some salt in
'Cause that makes it taste nice.
Chief Shut then found Kavouras "Zut alors! I have missed one!"
Sacrebleu! What is this?
How on earth could I miss
Such a sweet little succulent crab?
Quel dommage, what a loss!
Here go in the sauce.
How some flour-I think just a dab.
Now I stuff you with bread.
It don't hurt, 'cause you're dead
And you're certainly lucky you are.
'Cause it's gonna be hot
In my silver pot
Tootle-loo, mon poisson,
Au revoir!
Chef Shut found out that Kavouras is in fact alive and there was a fight in the kitchen. "Stop!" there was a loud wreck in the kitchen. "En garde!" says chef Shut sounding like à French soldier. "And now something truly exquisite."
The crème of the crème de la creme
"Ho ho ho! But you may ask, what is it? Well, it's a teensy surprise. Crabs you don't have me beat! I'll cook you up nice."
Bon appétit!
"You shellfish are so selfish!"
"Hee hee hee!"
"I'm gonna get you, my little passe- temps."
"Honh honh honh!"
"And now… prepare to fry!"
Les… Poissons
Les poissons!
Ooh la la! Here they are
Say bonjour to our friends from the sea
Fish fillet!
Now way, now way!
Fish flambe!
No way, no way!
It's a fish—how you say? —jamboree!
Curried bass! Kippered smelt! Fish kabobs! Tuna melt!
Little crab, you'll be grilled to a T
Fish lightly toasted and roasted and steamed
Tossed in the blender, tenderly creamed
Dish after dish like you'd wish to have dreamed
Les poissons!
Aaahhh
Aaaaahhhhh
Shut is covered in flour "I knew playing Chef Louis was a bad idea."
