New chapter for the new universe 7, I still don't know what I have planned for this or the other stories so we'll just go with whatever I'm feeling at the moment.
There's also some ideas I have for other crossovers that will be a spin off of the Kakarot Universe, not this one but the other story with all his generals and army.
The people cleared the street as rebels and regime soldiers fought against one another. Unfortunately it seemed one sided as the regime deployed more advanced weapons.
Batman and Catwoman were trapped behind a destroyed building trying to hold off the yellow lantern corps.
"Bruce! I don't think we can hold out much longer. Superman and his goons will be here any minute!"
"I know" He said, rolling out of cover and throwing explosive batarangs at the squad sneaking up on them.
"Then why are we still fighting?! Its over!" In her screaming she didn't notice a flash bang landing behind her.
'BANG'
Her ears rang as she stumbled before a giant cage landed on top of her holding her in place. Bruce quickly sprinting to her was caught off guard as a blur raced to him punching him into a building. Dazed and disoriented her pushed the rubble off himself, tumbling out he crashed into the ground not even noticing his helmet broken.
"Its over Bruce" An all too familiar voice said with a commanding authority, gritting his teeth he pushed himself off the ground to look his enemy in the eye.
Superman even with all his power still looked as bad as the day he lost his wife and unborn child, killed by his own hands. With the lost he cried but with the hatred he killed the joker without a second thought then went on to change the world.
"We both know this isn't over, not by a long shot" The unsaid question hung in the air mixed in with the burning smoke and burning buildings.
"I have a plan for him"
"No you don't, his son is too weak and when he learns Diana has betrayed him he will destroy the entire planet" He said, Superman could only narrow his eyes.
"That is no longer your concern Bruce, you're going away for a long time-"
'What, you don't plan to kill me like you did our friends? You have some nerve you kryptonian bastard!" After finishing the sentence Batman found himself being choked by the man of steel, he narrowed his eyes in continued defiance as he gasped for air.
After a few seconds he dropped the human "Don't think I would kill you so easily, I need info on the remaining rebels, we'll have someone force you to give up the information"
Looking at Superman Batman spoke "Well then here is your first hint then, the league of assassins has obtained something extremely...dangerous" Clark looked at him with a suspicious look "It is an object from the sanctuary you raided, it belongs to Kakarot"
"The league is dead, I killed all of them remember"
"Then they did a good job tricking you, no they live and they want their world back" Superman becoming angry looked at his soldiers.
"It doesn't matter what they want, I'll put them in their place like everyone else"
"If only it were that easy, an artifact from Kakarot's vault" he paused as the soldiers proceeded to arrest him and lead him to a armored truck "I only hope it is just a decoration" with that the doors closed on the former caped crusader and began driving away.
The sound of two people landing made him turn around and look at the forms of his two friends that have supported him since the beginning of this nightmare.
"Diana, Gohan, a little late to the party? I already got Bruce on his way to the facility right now"
"About time, for human he sure can be super resourceful" Gohan said, looking at the workers begin to fix the damage in the area.
"Unfortunately he had some last words that might bring trouble if I ignore them" He turned around looking at the city until he felt a hand on his shoulder, he looked at the beautiful eyes of Diana as she gave him a concerned look.
Immediately he felt the guilt begin to creep into his body, she had expressed feelings for him to the point he could say she loved him but...he couldn't move on from their deaths. His own two hands are what ended his own family, his own powers that snuffed the two lives he treasured so much and went on to kill more friends then he would like to remember.
Turning back to the two he spoke in a serious tone "Bruce said an artifact is missing from the vault "
"No that is impossible, we made sure nothing was missing when we cleaned out the old man's vault" Gohan said.
"That is what I thought until he said the league of assassins was behind the missing artifact"
"He's lying then, we would've seen something missing if that was the case" Diana said, crossing her arms.
"Diana you have to understand this wasn't some recent loss, the league is great at infiltrating and if they did get away with an artifact then what's to say how much is missing" Gohan said giving the queen a look "I'll look into this, I dont know any person on this planet that may know what the artifact is but we could always look into restarting the AI we disabled"
"Not happening, the moment we turn that thing on the entire planet will be in trouble"
"Then maybe we call up some magical folks-"
"What do you mean you can't access the sanctuary?!"Clark and Gohan looked at the shocked queen looking at them "It shouldn't be closed down, we disabled all security locks-" The voice on the other seemed to be getting annoyed "I'll be there" she cut her call looking at the two.
"The doors to sanctuary were sealed, our teams have no way to get in. The teleporters inside won't respond and communications inside were cut"
"Then we need to head there now-" The sounds of people running got their attention as soldiers stopped in front of them, clearly in a panic.
"Superman sir, the transport holding Wayne was attacked!"
"WHAT?!" He yelled scaring the other soldiers behind the commander.
A FEW MINUTES EARLIER
Defeated and tired, Bruce Wayne sat in his seat quietly. Well as quiet as one can be when he had to deal with idiots who couldn't shut up.
"It is so hard to believe this guy was Batman, I mean with all that money he could hire people to do his job"
"Yeah but instead he decided to dress up as a bat and scare the living daylights out of everyone haha!' his laugh making Bruce angrier " But it worked, grown ass men peeing themselves at the mere sight of this guy"
"Naw he ain't so scary once he is in the daylight" Bruce narrowed his eyes and stared the guard, the guard quickly shut up making his buddy laugh.
"SHIT!" The driver screamed out as he hit the brakes making everyone but Bruce fall over.
"Hey what the hell?! Why did we stop?!" Sliding the reinforced window they saw the driver pale and staring straight ahead of him . The guard looked out the window only to pale the same way.
"What the hell are you two doing?" The third guard looked out the window only to scream "WHAT THE HELL IS DOOMSDAY DOING OUT THERE?!" Bruce could only catch a small glimpse of the monster looking right into the widow.
Standing at a terrifying height of 15ft the spiked monster was covered in armor of unknown design with his hands covered in solid spikes. Unable to move they stared at the monster in horror until the sound of doors ripping open made them look behind them to see an armored figure looking at them.
Looking at Bruce they spoke "Hi Mr. Wayne, you're coming with us" Bruce could only nod as he got out, the figure casually cut his cuffs and began walking away to a nearby alley.
"MA'AM" Doomsday spoke
"Kill them and destroy the truck, need to leave them with some evidence at least" With a mighty roar the monster grabbed the three screaming guards before crushing them with ease , blood covered the truck before Doomsday began ripping the truck apart with ease. An explosion rocked the area before the burning truck was hurled into a store across the street.
"Lets go big guy, we're running late. You know how Boss lady gets when we stay out for too long" Bruce stared at the being in front of him with a calculating gaze, his thinking interrupted by the giant figure of Doomsday walking right next to him. Every fiber of his being was screaming at him to get away from the monster that killed superman of all people but through sheer will he held his ground as the monster walked into a door too small for him.
"Move it Wayne!" The figure pushed him through the door, before he knew it darkness was all he saw.
"oops, didn't mean to knock him out" the figure said shrugging her shoulders.
"IDIOT" The creature mumbled.
"GAHHHHH!" Superman stared at the final image of the massive hand of Doomsday reaching for them.
"When did Doomsday get out?" Gohan asked, scratching his chin.
"That wasn't the Doomsday we know, it was a different one. The armor and control he showed is completely different from the animal we know" Clark explained, looking at the burning truck "We have no idea where they went?!" He asked the commander standing next to him.
"No sir, the entire area was dark, no cameras or witnesses" He looked at his tablet " the people living in the buildings have no memory of hearing a roar or explosion so the only thing we could conclude was there might've been magic at play"
"Great Doomsday with magic...terrific" Gohan muttered poking the wreckage.
"I don't know, that armor the woman was wearing. It seemed more advanced than anything we have"
"More advanced huh? Almost like it came from..."
"Sanctuary" Superman said "Hopefully Diana finds something and if she does lets just hope he isn't back"
"Ah don't worry Clark, I got this. I have gained a lot of power over the years" Gohan said, flexing his muscles.
'No, for us to win we'll need everything in our arsenal'
"Superman" answering his earpiece, the voice of cyborg spoke sounding tired if that was even possible considering he had just started his shift in the tower in the rebuilt metropolis.
"Clark we got a problem" already the headache he had was getting worse.
"What is it?" he asked already feeling mentally tired.
"Come back to the tower, you'll want to see this" annoyed Superman bid farewell to the half saiyan before shooting into the sky to Metropolis.
Sanctuary
Landing in the research area she saw several people standing outside trying to open the giant doors of the most guarded place in the universe. They all parted ways as she approached, she placed her hand on the door expecting a light to scan her hand but all she got was cold silence.
Trying again she got the same result, getting annoyed she reached between the space in the doors and began pulling them apart. She yelled out in frustration as the doors didnt even move an inch.
"Clear out the area and return to the base, I'll let you know when I'm done" quickly obeying they all got in their vehicles and disappeared over the hill leaving the queen of the amazons alone. She looked at the door in confusion till she heard two people walking up to her.
Turning around with her sword and shield drawn she looked at the two figures walking towards her, one a female and the other 15ft tall monster.
Her eyes narrowed as she saw one of them carrying Batman over their shoulders. They stopped before her as if waiting for her to move.
"Oh you have some nerve showing your face here traitor" surprised by the cold response to her presence and even more so to them knowing about the vault.
"How do-"
"Look I would love to answer your questions but we need to get this guy inside before he dies of hypothermia, move traitor"
"And what'll you do if I don't move? You may not know it but you have a prisoner of ours and I can't simply let you walk into this vault so easily"
Turning to her companion "I'll meet you inside, I need to put this queen in her place" Doomsday nodded before walking to the door.
Diana with her sword and shield drawn was ready to attack the monster casually walking towards her. To her shock he simply went around her and to the door, feeling insulted she yelled as she swung her sword towards Doomsday head.
'ooooo I wouldnt do that" the armored being said before Doomsday moved.
"How dare yo-!" Diana said until she saw it.
During her swing she saw the giant hand of the beast coming at her sides aimed at her shield, gritting her teeth she felt the impact send her flying across the cave and into a wall. She held her scream as she looked at her arm badly bruised and her shield broken in just one hit.
'What is this? I can barely stand just one punch!' she thought while she dropped her broken shield to the ground and began crawling out of the hole in the wall.
"I guess I don't need to do anything, thanks big guy" the monster grunted before looking at the door, the door itself stood taller than the monster with strange marking decorating the entire surface. It had a blend of futuristic technology and very ancient magical origins with a floating black orb hovering above the doorway.
A bright light filled the cave as it scanned Doomsday before the black orb turned into dust surrounding him.

The monster narrowed his eyes as the dust surrounding him came together forming a mirror showing himself.

The woman in armor stepped forward as the system repeated the same steps and after a minute of confirmations revealed her identity.
WELCOME LADY GRAIL, THE GODKILLER
"Heh" she smirked making the giant monster roll his eyes. A bright dot appeared on top of the door before racing down created a line before spreading open to make a triangular door of white warm light. Before they could walk through they heard the sound of Diana climbing out of the hole she was thrown into, her arm throbbing in pain as she walked towards them.
"I'm not done with you" she said annoying Doomsday, not wanting to listen to her he walked through the light. Grail took off her helmet showing her face to wonder woman, the queen of the amazons could only stare in mild surprise as her features resembled that of Darkseid.
Grail shook her hair combing back, the side of her head shaved and the hair she did have was cut short so she could put a helmet on easier. Opening her eyes confirmed what Diana was suspicious of, they glowed red just like the god himself just waiting to unleash her power on her next target.
"Now Diana I know we amazons love to fight but this is one of the rare few times where you should drop the sword and go back to the sorry excuse for a leader and yes my father is Darkseid, I know that look" she said smirking, the glow in her eyes got brighter.
"No self respecting amazon would ever lay with such a creature so stop lying" she said tightening her grip on her sword.
"Yeah I know, too bad mother died a while back so we'll never know why she did spread her legs for my father" she said chuckling "but I do have something to say to you"
They stared at each other, the smirk on Grail's face gone " you betrayed Kakarot" Diana gave a small flinch " he opened his home to you just like he did for us, you then decided to steal everything inside just so you could please the alien"
Angered but such an accusation " I did not do this for Superman, I did it because there was a chance i could secure a safe world for mankind. No more fighting, no more crimes, and no more evil" Grail laughed, throwing her head back.
"Still so naïve, hang onto those ideals. You're world is about to get a wake up call, no one betrays our lord so expect a final judgement when Kakarot returns" Her eyes began crackling with red energy" Now get out of my sight you pathetic mortal"
In a great display of power two huge omega beams shot out of Grail's eyes racing to Diana who could do nothing except raise her bracers to minimize the damage. Unfortunately for she forgot about one detail Grail and her father share.
She can change the trajectory of her beams at will.
Diana saw the beams make a sudden left before slamming into her side sending her flying to the exit screaming in pain as the beams burned her side. The beams pushed her into the ground making a huge trench, feeling the searing burn destroy her sides she passed out from the pain in a giant crater a few miles away from the cave.
Smirking again "I should just finish her" her eyes began to glow again ready to finish off Wonderwoman until a giant hand covered in spikes appeared from the portal and grabbed Grail by her head.
"Ow ow let go dammit ow ow ow ow!" she screamed as her head was squeezed and she was pulled into the portal. The portal turned off and the door opened to reveal nothing inside except a cold and forgotten base.. In the cold snow laid Diana barely hanging on to life, her body burned and armor broken.
She'll live though, she has to pay for her mistakes.
League of Assassins
Hidden deep in the mountains Nanda Parbat a group of people gathered in a chamber surrounding their leader. An old man who has been alive for too long, his tired eyes were lit up with a fire many thought had been extinguish since Superman had taken over his world. His glowing eyes stared at an object sitting on the ground, his head filled with whispers of the possible person he hopes is inside.
Ra's Al Ghul at the crowd gathered spoke "For too long we have hid in the shadows watching that alien tell us what we can and what we cannot do! The son of Kakarot even sides with the conqueror when he should be against him!" The crowd of his loyal followers stayed quiet.
"But now, we have found evidence of where our lord had disappeared to. He has been missing for some time but he unlike the alien he has given us a chance to grow and become something greater than what we are"
"They betrayed our lord and we believe he has been sealed in this vase, you can hear the whispers right? it calls to us to release our lord from his prison, to free him so he could rain his final judgement on those heroes who have failed too many times" Smirking he thought this entire situation was ironic, assassins seeking help to stop the powerful regime.
"It's time to reclaim our world my fellow believers" he walked to the object, his two daughters nodding to him as he passed. The vase looked to be nothing special, just a simple design with a note attached to the side written in an unknown language. He removed the note and took a few steps away from the center, nothing happened for a few seconds making the followers look at each other in confusion then it happened...
A small crack appeared, smaller than many would realize but the light coming from it could not be missed. Ra's smirked as more cracks began appear on the vase and began shaking as if something was finally escaping. Everyone watching backed away in fear as the light became brighter and shaking intensified.
The vase exploded showering the whole room in light as a voice screamed hurting everyone's ears. Once the light faded away it revealed a body of a green alien dressed in a uniform of some kind and right next to said alien was a body that was covered in blood and clothes torn to shreds.
Immediately recognizing the injured man with the familiar hair, Ra's signaled his guards to move in and help. The green alien saw the masked figures moving to them in a slow fashion, he quickly raised his hand aiming at the humans.
"Stay back!" a purple ball formed in his hand and fired vaporizing one of the guards, the others quickly pulled out their swords. They stepped back as another ball formed in the white haired alien's hand.
"Stop! Put your weapons away and get back!" The guards quickly jumped away while putting their swords away, the alien quickly looked at Ra's with his hand still raised.
"Wait!" he yelled quickly explaining "We are not your enemies, we freed you from your prison"
The alien quickly looked at his hand holding the seal written in the mortal language, his eyes narrowed as he slowly lowered his hand. Ra's gestured the his fallen ally covered in bruises and cuts from what seem to be a bad fight. The alien himself seemed no different as his uniform was torn but no visible injuries could be seen on his body.
"We can help him, it would seem lord Kakarot is losing too much blood. If we dont help him he could die" Ra's saw the green alien in front of him flinch at the name he said, he would like to ask later once he healed Kakarot.
"Then heal him" he said.
"We need to put him in a pool, it'll heal his body but I do not know if it'll make him younger" Seeing his questioning gaze he elaborated "the pool can revive the dead and make them younger, I have used it multiple times to continue to live" With no other choice available the alien nodded. Ra's signaled the guards again, they rushed in with a gurney and quickly rushed Kakarot to the pit.
They were shadowed by the alien as they entered a room containing the pool that had brought Ra's back to life many times. The guards carefully placed Kakarot down on the ground allowing Ra's to walk to the body. The green alien remained quiet as he watched the human lift the body up and walk into the green pool.
Looking around the room he thought to himself 'Look at us, relying on mortals to heal us. How far have we fallen?' the old man gently sunk the body of Kakarot into the liquid and stepped away.
The alien watched, waiting for what the human claimed to work. Hopefully it did because once his other half recovered.
They were going after that Saiyan.
Mindscape of ?
' I lost?...'
'I lost...'
'I lost to him...' The being could feel his rage growing, the memories of his last fight playing back into his head. On repeat for who knows how long, the voice laughing at him. That bastard's voice echoing in his head again and again.
'Pathetic! Even as a saiyan you are still weak HAHAHA!' That smile was burned into his brain, his laugh creating unmatched hatred.
'Even with all the power you gained I still am better than you' His red eyes were alight with amusement as he brought that old man with him 'Unfortunately our fight is over, the two of you have shown me how little you understand mortals' No, even when they fused they were still outmatched by one man. The gods, defeated by a mortal.
No...
He wasn't a mortal anymore
No he stood with the rest of them as a god, surpassed all of us without anyone noticing.
'Old man, seal them away, I want them to think about what they've done for a long time' the small human with the sunglasses nodded before performing his technique, his other half screamed as he was dragged into their prison followed by him. Too weak to fight it he was trapped in eternal darkness, unable to tell how long it had been.
The being's anger reached a new height, higher than any other emotion he had ever felt. That bastard trapped him, to suffer while he laughed the whole time.
'HE HAS TO PAY!' Feeling his energy racing back to him, his power growing passed the limit he had reached before.
Laying in the pool he shot up screaming to the heavens, his power coming out like a tsunami of unbridled rage. His hair exploded into a vibrant pink with red electricity crackling around him. The roof of the base exploded outward sending debris flying everywhere outside and a huge beam of light shot into the sky like a beacon.
Everyone close enough to see could hear the voice of one man screaming a name, the name of the god who locked him away.
"KAKAROT!"
Zamasu had returned...
