Yumi Edogawa: thanks for your review my friend. We will begin to see it in this chapter.

Izuku checked his clothes one more time. He was wearing a black hoodie, black combat pants with a utility belt, and steel toed combat boots. In the utility belt was a small first aid kit, knives, zipties, and smoke bombs.
They had tested the watch that amplified his quirk. It allowed his Lyoko gear to appear over his quirk. The weapons from his gear worked just as they would in Lyoko. Biggest difference was that it needed physical contact with him. Long range weapons wouldn't work.
Mei of course wanted to further test the scope of what the combination could do. She insisted that with work he could use it to pull the Lyoko gear of the others forward. For his part Izuku wasn't so sure. Sure it was powerful to a point but it couldn't be that powerful. Right?
Tonight would be the first test to see how far his quirk would go. If it wavered he would mark his position using the watch. With a general idea how far he could get from the factory. This in turn would allow them to make patrol routes.
Once he finished checking his gear Kavar double checked it. Tugs were given on his jacket and belt. He checked the weapons and kit.
Then he stepped back and said, "You're all good to go. But please be careful."
Izuku smiled gently as he said, "Always."
Izuku turned to find Mei holding out a comm for him. Without a worry he took it and put it in his ear. Then he activated his quirk and his Lyoko gear settled over his other gear. The weight of the katana on his back was comforting.
Tonight would be a test run to see if it would work the way they wanted it to. Mei wanted him to avoid getting into trouble if at all possible. Izuku knew better than anyone how plans could change in a moment.
Shinsou said giving a nod of approval, "It looks good. We will monitor your progress from here."
Izuku bowed his head in acknowledgement before heading into the tunnels. The tunnel led him out into Musutafu and he went straight to the rooftops. Standing there the cool night air energized him.
Parkour that had become muscle memory in the virtual world was used to a lesser degree here. He had to adjust his reactions to the world around him. Extra weight no could be the difference between making and failing a jump.
South side of Musutafu was his first check point. He needed to know how far he could get into the bad part of town. That side of town needed help more than any other. No heroes patrolled it because of how poor it was. Not even the police patrolled it.
South side did have its perks. No one there would rat out a vigilantes as they looked after the civilians without ulterior motives. Carefully he ran across the rooftops and looked over the streets. While he could use System to act as a map or locator he needed to know the streets by heart.
Small shops littered the streets with people coming in and out of them. No one looked up as he passed over the rooftops. Their entire focus was on the ground in front of them. As if they feared what could be happening around them. With any luck that would change. That people would be less afraid of the world around with a vigilante looking after them.
As he reached the only gas station on that side of town he felt System waver and with it his Lyoko gear. He stopped on its rooftop he marked it using his watch. Then he listened to the city around him.
Cars could be heard backfiring and blaring their horns. Humans could be heard talking to each other. Words weren't discernable just mindless noise. Deciding there wasn't anything for him he headed to the east next.
While the east side was bad it wasn't nearly as bad as south. Running through the rooftops was easier on this side. Buildings were closer together so it was less of a jump. He had nearly reached the edge of the city on this side his gear began to flicker again. So he marked it easily and took another breather.
On the ground below him were more people. These people acted the same as those who were on the south side. Very little trust was held between the residents here. It was quieter on this side as well less cars out but more people. That would be something he would need to keep an eye on. If they couldn't afford cars muggers might be prone to hitting here.
Moving into the better parts of the cities had to be done with caution. Heroes did patrol those areas always looking for trouble. There wasn't much to see in there. His quirk faded at several points and he marked them.
It was coming up to be a productive evening when he heard a scream. From what he could tell it came from nearby. Izuku without realizing what he was doing ran towards the scream. He came up onto a mugging in progress. A woman clutched her purse to her chest while a man held out a knife. The way he held it spoke of inexperience even the kid knew it wasn't right.
Without conscious thought his body jumped down onto the street. One hand grabbed at the man's wrist twisting it painfully counterclockwise until he grunted in pain and thus released the knife. It was followed through by a punch to the man gut winding him and giving the boy the chance to knock him out. Pulling out a ziptie he tightened them around the man's hands and stepped back.
Part of Izuku was surprised with himself. In less than two minutes he had disarmed and knocked out a mugger. His first act of vigilantism though he very much doubted it would be his last.
The woman stuttered incomprehensibly at him. Seeing that she was unhurt just scared he sent an anonymous message through his quirk to the police department. They could handle things from here he needed to finish mapping out the range of his quirk. With a tip of his head to the woman he rushed back up onto the rooftops.
