"What I did For Love"
"Blaine I didn't, we didn't" Sam was so surprised and upset and all around confused at what was going on before him. Blaine squeezed his hand, assuring him that he was with him.
"I believe you" He responded.
"Shut Up! Don't touch him! He's the father of my unborn child! How dare you taint him and confuse him with your sinful nature, Sam does not love you he is not gay, HE LOVES ME" She screamed and threw herself at Blaine, but Edgar got in the way and grabbed her.
"Ok, crazy ass, let's get you out of here" He was struggling with her but he still had a tight grip on her.
"Let's go Edgar, let's take her to the office so her parents can come pick her up." Mr. Schue said. "Nothing happened here, get back to the dance. Kurt, come with us."
The boy rolled his eyes and followed Emma and Will along with Edgar and Penny to Emma's office.
"Poor Penny, what is she going to do with a fatherless baby?" Kurt said sighing. "Sam needs to man up and-" Edgar tripped him over and he fell on his face, well he was able to put his arms in front of him.
"Shit, Kurt are you ok!?" Edgar asked pretending to care. "It's kind of hard seeing where I'm walking and having to hold on to crazy ass" He said referring to Penny.
"Mr. Schue!" He screeched, but the teacher ignored him so he just huffed and puffed all the way to the office.
At the gym, a buzz of gossip and whispers could be heard above the music. Everybody kept looking at Sam. Blaine noticed how uncomfortable Sam was so he walked with him away from everyone.
"I swear we didn't do anything Blaine" The boys had gone to a secluded area behind the makeshift stage. "I have never even kissed her. You know that kiss the whole school was talking about? She kissed me! When I pushed her away, I was looking for you but you were gone."
"You were looking , for me?" Blaine asked, with a goofy smile and his heart like a popcycle on the fourth of July.
"Yeah dummy, I was so happy that you talked to me that day and I had hoped that it could be the start of us getting back together." Sam was smiling and it was as if he had forgotten what just had happened.
"I went to the airport that morning you left to Honduras" Blaine said biting his lower lip. "But I was too late, to think that if I would've arrived just a few minutes earlier" he said hanging his head low. "It's crazy what we do thinking we're doing it out of love"
The taller boy grabbed Blaine's chin to make him look into his eyes. "We're a pair of idiots." Sam said chuckling but causing an awkward silence between them. "So…you….like…Stuff?" was all Sam had to say to have both of them laughing again. "Look, we suck, we lied to each other and we need to move on… I won't give up on us Blaine. I will fight for you, you can't deny that we make a great team"
"You don't have to fight" Blaine said "I love you and I want to be with you, so Sam Evans… would you like to be my boyfriend?" Blaine was nervous but at the same time he was certain that Sam would say yes.
"Can I take 2 months to think about it? and in those 2 months I won't communicate with anybody and then I'll probably do something stupid and make us wait another 2 months and before you know it, it will be cinco de mayo again, only this time you will have to dance in pointy boots and I will have to bump into you and start all over again…. On second thought Yes, I would love to be your boyfriend Flaquito!" Sam said with a ginormous grin.
"You beautiful idiot!" And even before he could playfully shove Sam, the latter took his hands and put them behind his neck and then he put his own hands on Blaine's waist and kissed him. "I've missed you so much" Blaine said as he sighed and put his forehead with Sam's.
"Hey listen, I know that things right now are crazy. But if we stick together there's nothing that can stop us. I don't know if Penny is really pregnant or not but I do know that there is no way that baby is mine."
"I believe you… So what should we do now?"
"I want to talk to her family; I want to make sure that they know I had nothing to do with this. Her dad was very nice to me and I don't want him to get the wrong idea about me." He said as worry started to creep up.
"Ok boys put your boners away" Santana said as she and Brittany made their way to the boys "Hey Trouty, did you know that Kurt and Penny are cousins?" She asked with her hands on her hips ready to let her feisty side rise up.
"What? No, I had no idea!" Sam said shocked. "So, do you think that she just pretended to be my friend to keep me and Blaine apart?"
"I wouldn't put it past Kurt, he's an evil bitch" Britt said hugging Santana from behind and resting her chin on her shoulder.
"Blaine, come with me, we need to put a stop to this once and for all" Sam said aggravated, grabbing Blaine's hand and making their way to the office.
"Let them have it Samgelina Joelips!" Santana said causing everyone to laugh, including Sam who was very irritated with what he just found out.
"I was about to text you Blaine, You will never guess what happened!" Edgar said laughing as both boys made their way to the office.
"What's going on Edgar?" Blaine asked
"Penny's parents got here and all hell broke loose! She kept saying that she made it up, that she's not pregnant and her mom slapped the shit out of her! Mr. Schue had to come between them and told his mom that he would not tolerate violence but that's not all!" Edgar was having too much fun retelling the Penny's fake pregnancy Saga. "Azimio showed up and said that the baby was his, turns out that this is not the first pregnancy for Penny, Kurt paid for an abortion last year"
Sam felt so humiliated. He felt used and stupid for being so gullible. Blaine sensed Sam's shifting emotions so he intertwined his fingers with his.
"I am here, you're not alone" He kissed his cheek and then turned to Edgar but was interrupted by Sam.
"I'm not alone, but I am stupid. How could I not see that she was just using me, that Kurt, orchestrated all of this" He said letting go of Blaine and running his hands through his hair.
"Hey man, don't sweat it. You're not stupid if anything you're too trusting. You're a great person from what I've heard form Blaine and everyone here" Edgar said as he patted Sam's shoulder. Sam smiled and looked at Edgar.
"That means a lot Edgar, thanks" He said reaching for him in a tight embrace. "I know we got off on the wrong foot, but I would love to start over and maybe you can share some Blaine stories from when he was little"
Edgar laughed and winked at Blaine. "I sure can, I have a lot of embarrassing stories I have to share with you"
"Ok, ok let's change the subject" Blaine said, blushing a little. "Are you going to wait for them to come out?" He said referring to what was going on inside Emma's office, just as he said that the door opened and Penny's dad came out.
"Sam, son can you come in for a minute?" The man asked, warmly and serene. Sam was really close to him so he immediately went to him.
"Pastor Owen, I assure you that…" He started saying but was interrupted by the older man.
"Son, you don't have to say anything. I'm the one that is very sorry that my daughter treated you the way she did." With that he opened the door and let Sam in the room, before Sam went in he turned and looked at Blaine.
"Can you wait for me?" He asked pleading.
"I will" He said smiling at him, reassuring him that he wasn't going anywhere. Inside Emma's office Penny was crying and her mom was livid getting after Azimio. Kurt was annoyed, angry and frustrated. All his plans were derailed thanks to Azimio.
"Cassie, please be quiet we will deal with Penny and Azimio at home, for now I want her to apologize to Sam" The pastor said. "Penny, Sam is waiting."
"I did it for love Sam!" She said between sobs. Her mom was about to Slap her but her father stopped her.
"I will not repeat myself again Cassie, you better calm yourself. And you young lady, stop lying to this poor boy and apologize now" The pastor never lost his cool, he stayed calm and serene but firm and in charge.
"It's ok, Pastor… I don't need an apology. I just want to know why" Sam said looking at Penny.
"Fine, look…" She looked at Kurt who gave her a murderous look but she continued anyway "I owed Kurt a favor and he asked me to try and come between you and Blaine because he didn't want you guys to be happy" Kurt was red with anger.
"By the way Uncle John" Kurt said referring to the pastor "That favor was an abortion that I had to pay because your dumbass daughter got pregnant from Azimio a few months ago, and clearly she hasn't learned her lesson as she thinks she is pregnant again by him" Penny was livid and she slapped Kurt and he went for her hair. Mr. Schuester had enough so grabbed Kurt and took him next to Emma.
"ENOUGH" He yelled. "Kurt I can't suspend you or do anything to you as far as the school is concerned but as of now you are in probation from Glee club. You will attend every practice to make sure that we have all we need but you will not perform in any activity we have and that includes sectionals. You will not go with us but will be here to help load the bus and make sure we have everything. Do I make myself clear?" The teacher was fed up with all that Kurt had done.
"Yes sir, crystal" The boy said rolling his eyes. "Have a good pregnancy Penny" He said blowing a kiss at her and exiting the room.
"Sam, I truly am sorry that my daughter and nephew did this to you and to your friend Blaine" The pastor said.
"Boyfriend, Blaine is my boyfriend and you don't have to be sorry Pastor, you didn't do anything wrong but I want you to know that I never did anything to hurt Penny or gave her false hope or even come close to kissing her, much less sleep with her." Sam was nervous but had to get that out. "Now if you'll excuse me, there's something I need to do"
"Let's go young lady, you're obviously not ready for public school, let's go empty your locker. You're going back to being home schooled. Azimio, call you parents and tell them to meet us at our house."
As soon as Kurt exited Emma's office, Blaine got on his face. "Don't you get tired Kurt?"
Kurt rolled his eyes and tried to go around but Edgar stopped him. He was about to scream but Sam came out of the office as well. "What's going on?" he asked the 3 boys.
"Sam, help me, they are trying to attack me, you know I'm not a fighter!" He said pleading to Sam and trying to get him on his side, a pathetic attempt. The blond boy grabbed Kurt by his arm and walked him out to the parking lot, Blaine and Edgar followed not knowing what was going to happen.
"Your days of messing with me and Blaine are over Kurt, I should kick your ass and show you how pissed I am but you're not worth it" Sam was so angry, Blaine had never seen him this mad, Edgar was enjoying seeing Kurt squirm. "I always had your back but you alone chose this, don't ever try to do anything to us, we are happy, we are together and we will not let you mess with us ever again."
"I hate you Blaine Andrade, you should've been killed too when they killed your dad!" Kurt screamed at Blaine causing the boy to lunge at him ready to punch him but Edgar stopped him.
"Don't chaparro, allow me" Edgar said but when he turned Sam had already beat him to it.
"Didn't I make myself clear? Leave us the fuck alone!" He shouted at Kurt. "Let's go guys, let's try and enjoy the rest of the dance." Edgar lunged at Kurt making him wince but he didn't hit him, he just laughed as he saw Kurt cry.
"Damn Sam, you got one mean left hook." Edgar said throwing punches in the air.
"I don't condone violence but he had it coming" Sam said bringing Blaine closer to his side. The latino boy just sighed and melted into Sam's side.
Kurt texted Tina and told her his version of what happened, she rushed to his side and left with him.
When the guys got back to the dance Santana was rushing out and bumped into them, clearly outraged.
"What's going on Lopez!?" Blaine said stopping her
"He's here Blaine, my evil step brother is here and he's Mckinley's high newest student, Jesse St. James"
