Dan 10 Ultimate Summer EP 22: Meet the Batman
Disclaimer: Batman and other characters belong to DC comics. "The Batman" Is made by Warner Bros Studio and in anyway is not something I made up.
Intro:
A green glowing, steel pod was flying through space, hurtling towards earth as it crashes, making a huge green flash.
The camera zooms out from the glowing symbol on the Ultimatrix as Dan looks up close at it.
He then activates it while smirking at the camera, raising his hand high and slapping it down on the core.
The background turns all green as Dan morphed into Four Arms, who pumps his upper fists while cracking his lower ones with a smirk.
A white number appears on the left side, starting at 1.
"Dan 10!"
2: Heatblast ignites 2 fire balls in his hands.
"Dan 10."
3: XLR8 zooms into the right.
4: Diamondhead swaps his right arm across as it turns into a blade.
"DAN 10!"
5: Cannonbolt uncurls and poses.
"Dan 10!"
"Dan 10."
6: Upgrade stretches out of his puddle form.
7: Grey Matter hops off the 7 and lands into a crouch, giving a thumbs up and a smile.
"DAN 10!"
8: Water Hazard slides in on his water blasts and raises his fists up.
"Dan 10."
9: Wildvine extends his legs and stretch out his right fingers while holding seeds in his left one, chucking them offscreen.
10: Big Chill phases through the number and floats briefly before zooming near the camera.
"DAN 10!"
Big Chill's head turns back into Dan's as it rotates.
The camera zooms out to reveal Max and Kate by his side.
Dan gave a low-five as his Grandfather as Kate crosses her arm and shakes her head playfully with a smile.
The 2 then ran off-screen, making Dan run towards the camera with a look determination.
He then froze as the series logo appeared above along with his alien, 5 on each side.
At the Grand Canyon, the Rust Bucket sat in the empty parking lot while the family inside get ready for a hike, unaware of clouds are forming above with signs of a storm. Well… almost everyone.
A boat is heading towards an Iceberg on a foggy night, making the crew panic as they try to steer around it, only to crash against it as ice formed on the boat, keeping it floating. As the rich people on board gather themselves, they gasped in surprise at a figure in the mist. "Weather's a bit... mucky." "You are not invited on board, mister... Mister..." "Freeze." The man answers as he steps on board, reveling to be a human wearing a hi-tech suit with ice covering it, showing his red, cold eyes. "Mr. Freeze will do." Steam blasts out in response. He then fires a blast of ice that froze a man, making the 2 women scream out. "What do you want?!" "Ice..." Mr. Freeze approaches.
"Man! This is going to get good!" Dan exclaims as he watches the flat screen wall TV as Max and Kate looks at him. "I don't understand on why you want to watch reruns while the glory of the outdoors awaits?" "'Reruns'? This is "The Batman" show marathon! One of the most awesome Batman shows ever to be created! Besides, I'm only on Episode 5 of Season 1." Kate comments. "Sorry, little bro. I seen a few episodes. I think it's a little dark." "DUH! It take place in Gotham! What, have you been living under a rock or something?" Kate sighs and rolls her eyes, following her grandfather outside.
"I can't believe that my brother would watch Trash TV!" "You know, when I was kid, they called it a 'Zombie box'." Kate add to his Grandfather's comment. "Well, there's a big box of zombie in there." BOOOMMMM CRACKLE
Kate looks up to see approaching storm clouds covering the area with booming thunder and lighting in the skies. "Uh… are you sure we should be doing this?" Max puts a hand on her as he responds. "Come on, Kate! We can't let a couple of clouds keep us cooped up in the Rust Bucket all day! Where's your pioneer spirt?!" They continued on as the storms rage on.
Just as Dan kept watching as the show is getting to part about Batman investigating the bay, the screen went all static, making the child angry as he looks out. "UGGGHHH! Stupid piece of junk TV can't handle a little bad weather!" He then saw the watch and gets an idea. "'Piece of junk TV', huh?" FLASH
"Let's upgrade this puppy!" Upgrade mergers with the TV, connecting to the dish and give it a space satellite makeover. The show went back on as Upgrade stretches his head out. "THIS IS AWESOME! It's so HD! Good thing Upgrade has a long neck! Otherwise, it would be hard to watch TV when you are the TV." But just then, a bolt of lighting strikes the dish, electrocuting Upgrade as he frizzles in pain, FLASH The light dies down to reveal the TV was normal, but Upgrade was gone as the screen was static.
In a dark city, a squad of police were investigating the docks, unaware of a figure spying on them from a rooftop. The man is fit and strong jawed and is wearing a grey suit with black briefs, boots and gloves, that has 3 side spikes and claws. He has a yellow and black bat symbol on his chest and yellow belt. He has a black cape that has several pointed ends and folds like a cloak. A matching cowl with bat ears and white eyes is attached that leaves his mouth and chin exposed. "Not cold enough to the naked eye. But an Infrared..." Batman trails as he uses a gadget to look at the docks, spotting trail of white footprints along the cops. "Bingo. Freeze's trail is as clear as crystal."
Meanwhile, Upgrade arrives in a flash of light, in an Alley. "Whoa... "Where am I?" He then heard a sound and looks over to see the Batmobile sped away. "Wait! The Batmobile? And this city must be Gothem. That lighting bolt must have zapped Upgrade and was downloaded into the show! SO AWESOME!" He then notices the car was getting away. "Oh, man! I got to get Batman's autograph! but how am I going to..." He noticed a nearby truck and narrows his ring. "Hello there..." He slips down in puddle form and reaches the car, merging and upgrading it as it sped off, following the Batmobile.
"Man! This is so cool! It's one thing to watch Batman from a TV. But seeing it in person?! This is just as awesome as well!" Upgrade glees out. After chasing for a bit, the cars pulled up at a large building as Batman got out and grapples towards the roof. Upgrade unmerges as he looks up. "I got to get up there!" BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP FLASH "Man." Dan groans out as he decides to use the doors, finding unlocked, much to his luck. As the kid enters into the building, he notices it was getting cold as he rubs his arms. "Whoa! Who turned down the heat?" Dan questions out as he can see his own breath.
Dan the notices an elevator and went up to it, pushing it open as he chose the roof, just as the shaft starts pulling up. As Dan waits, he noticed it was getting closer to the rooftop as he noticed the gauntlet is recharged. "All right! Time to turn up the Heatblast and get warm!" He slaps down on Heatblast's icon, only when the light disappeared, he got XLR8, instead. "XLR8? Really, watch? Fine! I can work with this." The doors flew open with a ding as he closed his visor and took off, bursting into the jewel vault as he tackled Mr. Freeze away from a frozen Batman. As the mutant recovers, he glares up at XLR8. "Looks like you got this party started without me, snowflake!" The frozen man narrows his red eyes as he tries to blast XLR8, but the alien is just too fast as he dodges and strikes back with his claws. Only to accidently slips on some ice as he groans out. "Note to self: XLR8 doesn't do well on ice."
"FREEZE! POLICE!" An Asian woman and an African American adult male burst through the doors with blasters raised as XLR8 comments. "Sheesh! Talk about bad timing." But Mr. Freeze creates an ice bridge that smashed through a window, grabbing his stolen good as he spoke to Batman. "Another time, Batman... Unless you catch your death of cold!" He chuckles as he made his escape, sliding down an ice bridge all the way. "Aw, man! He got away." XLR8 groans out, only to noticed the weapons pointing at him. "Halt, you speedy lizard thing! Gothem PD! Claws in the air, now!" The man spoke as XLR8 deadpans. "I have got to pay more attention in these things."
But XLR8 used his tail to whip the blaster out of the man's hand, saying a quick 'sorry, as he zips over and starts jabbing his claws into the frozen Caped Crusader, chipping the ice away until he stopped as Batman is out as XLR8 waves his claws in discomfort. "Man! That was cold." He then grabs Batman and zips past the police out to the Batmobile. After getting the caped crusader in, just as he manages to wake up to set the car to 'Auto-Pilot', XLR8 hops in as well as it took off.
The Batmobile arrives at the Batcave as Alfred stands by with a beverage tray. "Something cold to drink, Master Bruce?" But the elder got a big shock when the cockpit opens to see an unresponsive Batman and a strange lizard creature that helps his master out. "Make it hot! Batman's freezing and out cold." The butler drops the tray as he helps as well.
Upstairs at Wayne Manor, Bruce Wayne, Batman's civilian identity and CEO of Wayne Tech and super rich man of Gotham City, shivers as he held a blanket wrapped around him as he held a thermometer in his mouth. Alfrid took it out and examines the reading. "104.8? it's official Master Burce. you're running a fever." "Yeah... Being turned into a human popsicle can do that to people." Dan comments as he stood nearby, having to introduced himself after changing back from XLR8. "Freeze..." Burce shivers out as they both glanced at him. "Freeze... It's my fault. He is what he is, because of me." "Master Burce?" Alfrid askes as the man responds. "Right Alfrid... maybe it's time for the Batman to take a vacation... A permanent one." Both Dan and Alfrid were shocked as they glanced at each other at the man's decision.
"But... You just can't quit after all you had done!" "Our young shape shifting visitor is correct, Master Bruce. As much as I be delighted to encourage you to hang up the cape and cowl out of concern of your general health and welfare. But... You would hold it against me when your fever broke and came to your senses." Burce then looks up to that portrait of his parents as the other 2 notices, understanding why he is looking, considering they know the history of Thomas and Martha Wayne and what happened to them on that infamous night the Batman was created.
As Burce nods off, Alfried escorts Dan back down to the Batcave as the butler began working on something as Dan watches and can't help but fell a little down. "I can't help but feel like it's my fault." "Beg your pardon?" Alfred stopped as he glances at the boy. "If I was only quicker, then Bruce won't have been frozen. I feel like I let him down. And all I wanted to do is meet him." "Chin up, Young Tennyson." The butler assures as he walks over and knees down. "You can't let yourself down after a little misshape. You didn't know the Batman would have been like this. And if you haven't come to his assistance, then Gotham would be without the Batman and the last Wayne would be gone as well. And I'm sure you can bounce back from this with renewed vigor."
As Dan thought about it, the elevator dings as Bruce, now back on his feet, walks out. "Alfried?" "Ahh! Regain some of your fire, have we?" "The Batman is needed." The man nods in response to his master as he states. "I thought as much. That's why I had taken the liberty of weather proofing your suit." The butler displays the new Batsuit, designed for fighting cold weather and keeping the usher warm. Bruce smirks at the suit as the computer went off, displaying a news report. "The crime spree of Mr. Freeze continues. He was last seen entering Gotham Park. The Police, who have entered in pursuit, has yet to emerge."
On that cue, Bruce suited up in his new suit, ready to go as Dan calls out and runs up. "Let me come with you, Bruce! I can really help!" The man in the mask stares for a few secs and nods in response. "Try not to act on your own, kid." Dan secretly fist pumps with a big grin, only to look focused when Bruce looks back, making him resume his excited demeanor as the Batman's back has turned. The 2 got into the Batmobile and speeds off to stop Mr. Freeze.
The Batmobile made it to the frozen park, passing by surprised cops as the computer had found Mr. Freeze's signal! "Getting warmer..." The man mumble as Dan grins out. "Look out, Mr. Freeze! Here comes the heat!" The boy cries out as he is pumped and ready for hero time! The Batmobile burst thought the large ice dome and came to a halt as both heroes got out and looks around, noticing the frozen helicopter and policemen. "Guess we know what happened to the first squad of cops." Dan starts shivering from the cold as he quickly dials the glove and slaps down, turning into Heatblast as he grins out. "Oh, yeah! Toasty warm." "Just be careful on your flames can affect the environment." Batman warns as he walks as Heatblast mumbles and scratches his head flame. "Weird... for a sec, he sounded like Kate."
The duo walks by the frozen cops as Heatblast's flames starts melting the ice around him a bit. "It was all too easy." Both looks back to see Mr. Freeze on top of an ice throne while playing with the stolen diamonds. "The diamonds... the police! Challenges for an ordinary criminal. It's clear now that I am destined for more than this! After all, you've made me more than human." "Sorry, Vic. But I'm done taking credit for your handy work. We both know you put yourself on ice. Now... Me and my friend here are bringing the heat." Batman narrows his eye as Heatblast cries out. "Yeah! So, less talk Snowflake! More fight!" "Very well..."
Mr. Freeze strikes 1st with a frost blast as Heatblast counters a stream of flame, coming to a stalemate as Batman leaps to the side and chucks a Batarang into the wall behind the frozen villain, making it exploded as Mr. Freeze was sent flying forward. He notices more Batarangs as he quickly froze them, exploding as Heatblast leaps out of the smoke and smacks him around with fire punches, hurting Mr. Freeze as he got knocked away with a blaze kick.
As he recovers, he glares at Heatblast as he stood up. "Your flames can only last for so long, freak." "Maybe... But even been near the sun, dude?" Heatblast grins out as he spins around and conjures up his fire tornado as Mr. Freeze is shocked. He tries freezing the flames, but his ice kept melting and turning into steam. Batman then appears from a ledge and whips out dual flamethrowers and fires at the cyclone, increasing the heat as the ice starts melting as Mr. Freeze is getting weaker and weaker. "Hey, Mr. Freeze!" he looks up, only to widened in shock at Heatblast leaping out as absorbs all the fire into a massive fireball with a grin. "Special delivery!" He slams the meteor down that caused an explosion.
The frozen rouge was sent bouncing and sliding right towards Batman as the Capped Crusader rears back a fist and punched Mr. Freeze so hard, he broke the ice surrounding his torso and head. Mr. Freeze was defeated as he was knocked out, making both heroes towers over him as they look down. "I think he has enough." Heatblast smirks as Batman nods at him, only to notice the alien holding out his fist as he grins. "Come on, Bats! Just a quick one? To celebrate?" The masked man looks down for a few secs and although the alien can can't see, Bruce smiles out, deciding to humor him. "Okay..." he bumps fists as Heatblast grins out fist bumping Batman himself! They made it back to the Batmobile as Dan manages to time out once in, speeding back to the Batcave as the cops clean up Mr. Freeze's mess and arrest the guy.
The 2 made it back as Alfred preps some tea. "That was so awesome! Mr. Freeze just got heatblasted, big time! Yeah!" Dan grins as he swings his fists in excitement as the 2 approached the butler. "So, I say it worked out great for the both of you?" "What do you think, Alfred?" Bruce smirks as he pulls back the cowl.
Just then, a green vortex shows up in the Batcave as Dan has a feeling that he knows what that is. "Guess that's my ride home." "Looks like it." He turns to Dan and said. "You know, you remind me a bit of me when I was young. I think you got a career in being a great hero, Dan Tennyson." "I'll won't forget this, Bruce Wayne. Even if we did got off on the wrong foot at first." They both shakes hands as the boy stops in front of the vortex and looks back. "Let's do this again sometime." He leaps in as Bruce smiles as Alfred. "Well... That certainly will be an experience that won't be forgotten, young master Bruce."
"You know, Alfred? I kind of envy Dan in a way. He still has his family past 8 years old. Makes me wonder what my life will be if my family is still around." Just then, the Batcomputer went off. "The bat-wave. Another time, then?" Bruce nods at his butler in response. "Teeheeti will have to wait." He suits up and drove off in the Batmobile in his never-ending mission to rid Gothem of crime and chaos.
Dan was shot out of the TV and lands on the bed, groaning as he recovers as the screen shuts off. "Whoa... What a trip!" "Dan?" Max askes as he and Kate enters. "Have you fallen asleep, watching your show, bro?" "Not really. And you know what, I had enough TV for a while. I'm going outside and enjoying nature! Bye, guys!" Dan ran out as both sister and grandparent were stunned at what they heard. "I think we're in the wrong RV." Max nods as well as the boy enjoys himself while looking at his phone of his new photos of him in the Batcave and with Bruce and Alfred, smiling at meeting his superhero icon and the adventure they shared.
