Kairi.
Two signatures on the wall that mean so much to me. Two stars of hope glinting in my heart, my soul, as I wait for you. I ache for your love and I wait for you to come back.
Just like you promised.
I love you, but when will I say that to you? For you? Those three words seem like too much, yet it's not enough.
The two names are not only engraved in the cave walls, but in my heart as well.

I look up at the starry night sky, and I shed yet another tear, realizing that I've spent yet another day without you.
I'm too scared to admit my true feelings to you, Kairi, for if anything goes wrong, what'll happen to our friendship? Me? You?
I don't want to hurt us.
Still, yet, I wait for you in the distance, waiting for that fateful day I'll see you, and you'll be in my arms, where I'll say "I love you" and you'll say it back. Every battle I fight is for you; every victory one step closer to your smile, your lips.
I just hope that you're all right and safe, and that the same star I see is the same star you see at night.
