Summary: After seeing baby Harry interact with a Student after the death of his Parents, Dumbledore has a better idea of where Harry should be raised. Inside the halls of Hogwarts.

"Time to get up." Poppy Pomphrey said, shacking Harry awake from his spot on the bed next to her.

Harry snuggled into her side for a few moments, then his eyes opened and he shot upright.

"Happy Birthday." Poppy said, giving him a hug. "How does it feel to turn seven?"

Harry was so exited that he could barely sit still. He got dressed, was Fed, ate breakfast and then they were off.

Poppy Apperated them in a few blocks away from their destination and they walked the rest of the way. It was a large hall in Muggle Exeter which was normally used for Wedding Receptions or for High School Formals. When Poppy opened the door and they walked in there was an almost overwhelming wall of sound that crashed over the two of them.

"Happy Birthday Harry!" all his Big Sisters said.

None of them were loud but two-hundred and forty odd voices all saying the same thing will make quite a noise. And that was just his Big Sisters. Mummy M was there as well along with Granddad Dumbledore, and all his Aunts and Uncles, made up of all of the Hogwarts Staff except for the DADA Professor who was constantly changing and Professor Trelawney, who was quite reclusive. Even the Caretaker, Mister Filch was there with his cat Mrs Norris.

As was tradition for the last several years, rather than getting lots and lots of little presents, each Class of Big Sisters would pool together and get Harry a nice gift. Each group would get some group time with Harry to talk with him and give him the gift. Harry tried to give all his Big Sisters the same amount of attention but he could not help having favourites. Mafalda in particular. All of her class were doing well, with members going into family business, or the Ministry while others playing Professional Quidditch or starting new businesses. Tracy, former Slytherin Quidditch Captain and now Chaser for the Hollyhead Harpies offered to get tickets for any game he wanted to play while Mafalda was happy working at the Ministry and a few of the other girls had to stop her sharing salacious gossip with 'her little man'.

Harry also made time to talk to Karin and Danni. Danni was happy and doing well now that she did not have to hide from her Dorm Mates. As for Karin… Karin had brought along her Girlfriend, a French Witch called Celeste, who took one look at Harry and instantly adopted him as her Little Brother.

After a few hours the Birthday Party was wrapping up and Harry was standing with Minerva McGonagall, who was ready to take him back to her house for the remainder of the Holidays, as always.

Wendy was nervous as she sat in the Hogwarts Express with Harry sitting in her lap. She was the first one allowed to take Harry home for Christmas Break. Harry had been exited for the train ride but had fallen asleep an hour into it.

Seven of her fellow Sixth Year Girls had volunteered to take Harry home for Christmas and apparently the debate had been long between Professor McGonagall and Madam Pomphrey as to who got the Honour. Wendy was a Prefect and, assuming this went well, she thought it would help her chances of getting Head Girl next year. That was not why she volunteered though. Like all his other Big Sisters, she loved Harry as a Little Brother. The train pulled into Platform 9 ¾ and she helped him out of the carriage and spotted her parents waiting over by the wall. Her father owned a small shop in Diagon Alley selling Potions Ingredients and her mother worked part time as a Welcome Witch at St Mungos.

They had no seats on the Wizengamont or any contacts in the Ministry. They were your average working class Magicals.

"Mum, Dad. This is Harry Potter." Wendy introduced the seven year old.

"Hello Sir, Ma'am." Harry said. "Thank you for letting me spend the Holiday with you."

"You are so welcome, young man." Wendy's mother said.

The five of his Big Sisters who were on the Quidditch Teams were flying around with Harry on the Quidditch Pitch. Each had, along with previous Big Sisters who were on the Teams in the last three years, shown him their individual positions and how to play, but today it was just all of them flying around and having fun. One of the presents he had gotten for his last birthday, from the current Seventh Year Big Sisters, had been a middle of the range Broom, so he did not have to use the 'distressed' School Brooms anymore.

Harry was sitting in the Seventh Year Girls Dorms dressed in a miniature tuxedo. It was a week before the end of the school year and the girls were getting ready for their Graduation Ball. Danni had not been going to go to the ball, because she thought no one would want to date her. Harry had not only insisted that she go but that he would personally go as her date.

All of her dorm mates were helping Danni get ready so they could all have a good night. It turned out to be the best night of her life so far.

Nine year old Harry stood proudly beside his Big Sisters as the TC was about to start. The new Sixth Years walked in and arrayed themselves in front of the Seventh Years. The ceremony proceeded and the first minder stepped out from the Sixth Years. She was striking by her bright pink hair.

"My name's Tonks." She said. "Never use my first name."

Harry pouted slightly at that and she sighed as her hair turned from pink to yellow and then back again as they walked out of the TC room and headed for the Hufflepuff Dormitory.

"Fine, it's Nymphadora, but please don't call me that." Tonks said.

"Maybe Dora?" Harry asked.

"Fine, you can call me Dora." Tonks said. "I am your Cousin. Second Cousin once removed I believe."

"Well, now you are Big Sister." Harry said. "But do I have any other Cousins?"

"Most Purebloods are distantly related, but not really relatives. You do have a few Cousins like me. Primrose Malfoy is now a Second Year and has a little brother, Draco, about your age. Their mother is sister to my mother. You may have a few others but I never really cared much about that kind of thing."

"Ok. But how did you change your hair like that?" Harry asked. "You did not use a spell like Uncle Flitwick would and Mummy M said partial self-transfiguration is really hard to do."

"I am a Metamorph." Dora explained. "I can naturally just change things about myself, within limits. Hair is easy, things like height and body type are more difficult."

"Is this your real looks?" Harry insisted.

"Mostly. My hair is not really pink, obviously, but yeah. Most of it." Dora replied.

"Good. I like to be with my Big Sister, my real Big Sister. You, not what you think I or anyone else wants you to be." Harry explained.

"So, what's on the plan for today, Mummy M?" Harry asked.

It was the day after Harry's eleventh birthday and he was having breakfast with Minerva in her highland house.

"Well, I am escorting one of the new Muggleborn Students, a Miss Granger, to get her School Supplies. I was wondering if you wanted to join us for the day." Minerva said.

"That would be nice." Harry agreed. "It will be nice to meet someone I will be sharing classes with."

"Don't forget when we get back to Hogwarts you will have to call me Professor, not Mummy M, as you will be a student now." Minerva instructed.

"Yes, Mummy M." Harry said nodding.

A/N: Ok, so that brings us up to date with Harry growing up. Next chapter starts Harry's life at Hogwarts as a student. Also, I have added an older sister for Draco because I see Narcissa and Lucius being several years older than James, Lily, Sirius and Snape. Lucius mentored Snape during Hogwarts so it makes sense and in this I don't see Lucius being a closet gay like in most Fanfics nor that the Malfoys would wait several years to have a single child, instead they had Primrose not long after graduating and four years later had their second child, Draco, at the same time as the younger Potters had Harry. The tendency for so many Pureblood children in series seeming to be only children seems a bit unrealistic to me, so I may make reference to older or younger siblings for several seeming only child characters. This will obviously not affect the Weasleys.

A/N 2: Two chapters in one day is unusual and should not be expected to happen very often at all, but my muse screamed at me to write this immediately after the previous chapter.
