Chapter 33: Smash
Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter. Sorry about the wait on this one but I had so much stuff going on I had tp put so much into one chapter. I think you'll like what I have planned. I'm bringing in quite a few characters for this one thanks to the help of my friend Nitro Zeus for the villian add ins at the end. Hope you like what I have planned. Please Review and Enjoy.
It was late at night on the outskirts of Metropolis at a SHIELD warehouse that was under heavy armed guard.
As one agent was watching the front, he saw a van approaching from down the path.
"ID please." He said as the figure inside the van reached in and pulled out a SHIELD ID. "Alright go on in."
Driving in the van pulled up on the side as 4 men dressed in black stepped out.
"I can't believe you managed to forge it." The Leader said.
"I told you it would work." The forger smirks.
Moving to a warehouse, one member hacks the panel allowing it to open.
Walking inside the 4 of them smile seeing cases upon cases of SHIELD tech.
"Jackpot boys. Grab whatever you can and let's get these back to Tinkerer." One said using a high tech electric torch to blast the locks off.
"I can't believe Fury left this stuff unguarded." The other said using some sort of electric claw.
"Well then I guess it's a good thing that he has us stop by." Looking up the four crooks saw Spider-Man and Supergirl looking down at them from the roof window.
"Sorry, but SHIELD isn't selling you're gonna have put everything back where you found it." Supergirl said.
"And what if we don't?" The last two asks pulling out two blasters.
"Wow do you guys act this way when your mom asks you to do chores?" Spider-Man asks causing Supergirl to giggle before looking at Spider-Man with dreamy eyes.
Firing two webs at them Spider-Man swings in only for them to aim their weapons at him freezing Spider-Man in midair snapping Supergirl out of her trance as they slammed him into the ceiling and onto the ground.
"Spider-Man!" Supergirl gasps.
"What was that?" Spider-Man asks he's blasted again smashing into some crates.
Supergirl flew in and used her super-breath blowing crates towards the other three trapping them.
Using the claw they threw crates at Supergirl which she tried to catch all at once until they fired a plasma blast knocking Supergirl to ground and all the crates land on top of her.
As they aimed the torch at her he was about to fire when Spider-Man fired a web yanking it out of the way causing the blast to hit multiple crates causing a giant explosion blasting a giant hole in the wall.
With this opening, the 4 guys run back to their van and race out before the SHIELD agents could stop them.
From inside, Spider-Man pushes a crate off him as flames surrounded him.
"Supergirl! Where are you?! Supergirl!" Spider-Man calls out as he spots Supergirl in a corner with her leg caught under some large crates.
Running over he helps her lift up the crates and ran out before the warehouse exploded in flames.
Turning around Spider-Man and Supergirl cringed.
"Fury's gonna kill us, isn't he?" Supergil gulps.
"Probably…who were those guys?" Spider-Man asks.
At an old warehouse, the van pulled up inside it and the four guys carried the cases in where at a table a man was working on some tech.
"Hey Tinkerer. We got some new gear for you." They called out revealing the man to have curly brown hair and glasses.
Walking over, Tinkerer examined it and smiled. "You guys got some really good stuff. I can make quite a bit with this."
"How long will it take?"
"Give me a few days. If done right we'll be ready for the big one very soon." Tinkerer said closing the cases.
The next morning at Super Hero High, Jaden and Kara were standing in Principal Waller's office as Nick Fury was looking at the damage report caused by them while Coulson was yelling at them.
"You two are supposed to be Avengers but instead you blew up a warehouse filled with high-tech SHIELD weapons and even with what we managed to salvage you still let the criminals escape!" Phil snaps.
Kara was about to open her mouth to apologize when Jaden spoke first.
"I'm sorry it was my fault. I got surprised by their tech and they got the drop on us." Jaden sighs.
"Director Fury I believe a punishment is in order for these two." Coulson said causing them to cringe.
"Yes, I agree. Tomorrow morning you two will report to my second in command, Maria Hill in a very important mission. I expect you both to pull your weight, especially if you two wanna still be Avengers. Do I make myself clear?" Fury asks.
"Absolutely." Jaden and Kara nod.
"Dismissed," Coulson said as they walked out. "Wow, you're making them go on that one? Those kids are in for it."
"Even so, they might be the only ones we have at the moment who can stop that thing before it gets out of control. We need this thing on our side." Fury said.
In the student rec room, Jaden and Kara were sitting down.
"I seriously need more field experience." Kara said holding her head.
"You'll get it sooner or later. Right now we need to try and be on the same wavelength if we're gonna be on a team." Jaden said.
"It's because I hesitated back at the warehouse last night. I uh got distracted." Kara admits.
"Is something going on Kara? When you train with the other Avengers or the other students you're focused but why do only seem to have this problem when you're with me? Do you not like me?" Jaden asks.
"What?! No of course I do! The whole reason I'm even the hero I am today is because of all the help you and the others have done." Kara said.
"So why?" Jaden asks.
"I-I-I." Kara stutters trying to say the right words but just sighs hanging her head down. "I can't tell you."
"Wow, really thought you and I could make quite a team but if you can't even trust me enough to tell me what's wrong, I really don't think we can even be a team anymore." Jaden said causing her to gasp. "See you tomorrow." Jaden stood up and left the room.
Groaning Kara grabbed her hair in frustration. 'Ugh! Why?! Why can't I just tell him how I feel? I just wanna be able to say Jaden I love you and now I'm about to lose any chance of ever saying it at all.' Kara thought before realizing something. "I have to fix this."
In Jaden's room, he was sitting down with Diana telling her everything.
"And if I don't complete this mission I'm no longer an Avenger." Jaden said shocking her.
"What? But you're like one of the first. He can't do that to you." Diana said.
"Apparently he can." Jaden said.
"Have you tried talking to Kara about what's going on?" Diana asks.
"I tried but she doesn't seem to wanna tell me anything. It's so frustrating. I wanna be an Avenger and now I'm about to blow everything." Jaden groans.
Seeing her boyfriend was completely stressed out Diana walks over and hugs him from behind resting her head on his shoulder.
"Hey it'll be alright. Things have looked bad before but you always pull through. That's why you're so amazing." Diana said.
"Amazing Spider-Man?" Jaden raises an eyebrow.
"Amazing Jaden Copper." Diana smiles kissing him on the lips which he gladly returns.
"You're the best." Jaden smiles.
"I know exactly how to make you feel better." Diana said sitting in his lap as they continued making out.
"You are one Sexy Amazon." Jaden said.
"Hey you're the one who opened my eyes and my legs. Now I can't get enough you." Diana moans in between kisses.

"Heard you had a little fun with Barbara and Silena. You lose the Hero of the Year and next time you three get together I want in." Diana said as Jaden liked the idea of taking on 3 of his girls at once.
"Alright but if you lose you have to spend the entire Spring Break with me and whoever else I might ask to stop by." Jaden said.
"Oh you are so on." Diana grins at the challenge.
The next morning, Jaden and Kara were being led through the SHIELD Helicarrier as it flew through the sky.
"Assistant Director Maria Hill will be in here shortly." The Agent said before turning to Jaden and leaning. "Word of advice kid, if you value your life don't stare at it." The Agent said confusing him.
"Stare at what?" Jaden asks.
"Trust me, you'll know it when you see it. Good luck kid." He said clapping Jaden on the back before leaving.
"Gotta admit, it sure is nice flying through the sky without using my powers from time to time. Plus I don't have to worry about eating bugs." Kara jokes hoping to get a reaction.
"I guess." Jaden said not really paying attention.
"Jaden look I—" Kara starts.
"Let's just get this done so Fury doesn't kick outta of the Avengers." Jaden brushes her off.
"Fury isn't the one you two need to worry about right now!" A female voice boomed across the room. Turning around they saw a woman with black hair, brown skin wearing a standard SHIELD body suit. This was Maria Hill. (Google Maria Hill: Avengers Earth's Mighetest Heroes)
As Maria walked past them to the computer Jaden saw her body suit clinging her to sexy ass and almost instantly he understood the agent's warning.
'Oh so that's what he meant.' Jaden said.
"Are you two just gonna stand their looking pretty or are you gonna come over here so I can give you the details of our assighnment?" Maria asks and instantly Jaden and Kara ran over.
"Uh hi I'm—"
"Jaden Cooper, aka Spider-Man and your Kara Danvers aka Supergirl. Fury sent me your files." Maria said not even looking up from the computer.
"Oh uh, so what's our assignment?" Kara asks.
"You kids are part of the Avengers, our personal team for fighting to save the world like the Justice League, but you guys aren't very big on adding new members despite being at a school literally filled with superheroes. But I found someone that could either be a great asset or a danger to us all. It all depends on what you two do today." Maria said getting their attention.
"Well who is this special hero?" Jaden asks.
"We'll be meeting him shortly. Suit up and follow me to the Quinjet." Maria said walking out as Jaden put on his mask and he and Supergirl followed her out but as they walked Spider-Man was really having difficulty no staring at her ass while she walked as it swayed back and forth.
'I have to nail this mission. I can't get distracted.' Jaden thought, but little did he know Supergirl was thinking the same thing.

Flying over the Nevada desert, the Quinjet landed in a small town where Maria took them to what seemed like a normal house before Maria knocked on the door.
"I'm coming. I'm coming." A man with short brown hair said opening the door and when he saw the two heroes he chuckled. "Little early for Halloween, don't you think kids?"
"Prof. Bruce Banner? We need to talk about your recent activity." Maria said.
"Sorry lady, but you got the wrong guy. I don't do that stuff anymore." Bruce said closing the door for Maria to grab it.
"Our sources aren't wrong. Something is happening and you seem to know what's going on." Maria said.
Bruce rolls his eyes and sighs. "Betty, we have guests!" Bruce calls out.
Sitting down in the living room, a woman with long brown hair walked in, this was Betty Ross.
"I thought Fury and I had a deal. I agreed to lay low and he agreed not to make me his lab rat." Bruce said.
"It's true, Bruce hasn't done anything." Betty nods.
"Really? So why did SHIELD get footage of this happening a few towns over last week?" Maria asks as showed them all footage of a large, muscular green monster jumping over buildings and smashing almost everything in its path causing Spider-Man and Supergirl to look in shock.
"W-What is that?" Spider-Man asks.
"That's why I brought you two. It's a super-powerful creature that's fueled by anger and rage. We call it a Hulk." Maria said.
"A Hulk?" Supergirl gulps. 'That thing's strength could rival Superman's.'
"Wait…Mr. Banner are you the Hulk?" Spider-Man asks.
"I was. You see Betty and I were partners in the same department when I started an experiment to tap into the hidden strength all humans have, but unfortunately, an overdose of gamma radiation caused a side effect that allowed me to turn into…the other guy whenever I got angry." Bruce explains.
"Yes but clearly you're not as in control as you claim to be." Maria gestures.
"See that's the thing lady, you think because there's a Hulk out there I'm to blame but it's not. That's my son." Bruce points out surprising them.
"When Bruce and I got married our son, Brian Banner ended up inheriting his father's side effect and he has a little more trouble controlling it than my husband." Betty explains.
'Can't control his powers? He's just like me before Jaden helped me.' Supergirl thought.
"Do you know where your son is?" Maria asks.
"Yeah I have a pretty good idea, but what do you kids plan to do if you find him?" Bruce asks.
"I was just asked to find him for these guys, what do you plan to do if you find Hulk?" Maria asks looking to Spider-Man.
"Look I can't guarantee I can do anything to help your son, but if he's looking at his powers like they're a disease he needs help. I think he ccould be a great hero and I wanna help him." Spider-Man said.
"Me too." Supergirl nods in agreement. "If we can convince your son, we'll take him to Super Hero High."
Bruce and Betty smile hearing this. "Brian will be easy, it's the other guy that'll be the real challenge." Bruce smirks.
At a small diner, a hooded figure walked in revealing him to be a teenage boy with brown hair and glasses. This was Brian Banner.
At the counter, a large muscular was eating a bowl of soup as Brian walked over and sat next to him.
"What would you like?" The waitress asks.
"Coffee, please." Brian said.
"Regular or Decaf?" She asks.
"Definitely decaf." Brian said as she went to get him a mug before looking to the muscular man. "Carl Creel? Carl "the Crusher" Creel?" Brian adds getting his attention.
"What do you want kid?" Carl asks looking at him.
"I've heard about you, a guy who got a serious overdosage of gamma radiation. Quite a few people are looking for you." Brian said.
"So how was it a teenager found me when the best scientists in the world couldn't?" Carl asks.
"Gamma radiation runs in my family. Guess you could say I'm an expert. I'm asking you to stop what you're doing." Brian narrows his eyes. "Lot of people are getting hurt."
"So those reports of another monster. You've been the one getting blamed for all my stunts." Carl grins as he touches the spoon and his entire body turns to metal changing him into Absorbing Man.
Just outside the diner, Spider-Man, Supergirl and Maria were about to walk in when suddenly Brian was thrown out the door.
"I've been wanting to pick a fight with you for a long time." Absorbing Man grins.
"Hold it!" Maria yells drawing her gun. "Absorbing Man, you are on the list of SHIELD's most wanted. You are under arrest."
"A SHIELD agent? Oh this day just gets better." Absorbing Man laughs when they heard Brian growling. "What's a matter kid? Getting angry?"
Brian growls as his body started to turn green and grew in size turning him into the Hulk who let out a fierce roar causing Supergirl to jump into Spider-Man's arms.
"Sorry, he surprised." Supergirl apologized.
"This time I'll let it slide." Spider-Man said as Hulk threw a punch sending Absorbing Man flying into the desert before Hulk leaped after him.
"Okay we seriously need that thing on the Avengers." Spider-Man said.
"We really can't afford to make an enemy of that thing." Supergirl said.
"You two follow them, I'll get the Quinjet!" Maria orders running off.
"Supergirl I need a lift." Spider-Man said.
"Seriously?" Supergirl blushes at the idea of holding Jaden causing her to act nervous.
"Supergirl please, I need you to concentrate. Act the way you did when we fought Granny Goodness." Spider-Man said as Supergirl shakes her head snapping out it.
"Let's go!" Grabbing his arms Supergirl took off into the sky while Spider-Man held onto her.
In the middle of the desert, Hulk was punching Absorbing Man again and again before throwing him threw some rocks.
"What a waste. All that power and yet your punches are so soft. You trying to be a hero? Is that why you brought us out here? To protect people? I got news for you Hulk, those people think you're more of a monster than me!" Absorbing Man snaps punching Hulk in the face knocking him to the ground.
Turning his arms into hammers, Absorbing Man was about to smash Hulk into the ground like a nail.
"Hey ugly!" Looking up Absorbing Man saw Spider-Man swing in and deliver two kicks to the face knocking him to the ground. "You wanna pick on heroes? Well let's see how you do against others."
"Why you." Absorbing Man was about to squash him.
"Stop!" Spider-Man said holding up his hand causing Absorbing Man to stop in his tracks confused. "Hammer time."
Suddenly from above Supergirl smashes a giant rock on top of Absorbing Man hitting into the ground.
"Yes!" Spider-Man said as he and Supergirl high five when Hulk's shadow drapes over them as Hulk glares at them making them nervous until they heard a soft chuckle turning into laughter.
"Hammer time! Hulk think Strong Girl and Bug Boy funny!" Hulk laughs.
"At least he's not smashing us." Spider-Man said as Supergirl nods in agreement.
Groaning Absorbing Man grabs some rocks allowing his body to change to rock.
"You kids really are idiots. I can absorb anything! Even rock!" Absorbing Man said as Hulk just grins before literally punching Absorbing Man's arm off.
"Hulk smash rock, Einstein." Hulk said about to rip the rest of him to pieces.
"W-Wait! You can't do this!" Absorbing Man said as Hulk grabs him by the head and slams him into the ground.
"Watch me." Hulk said about to deliver a powerful punch when Supergirl stops his arm.
"Hulk wait!" Supergirl said causing him to look over. "I know he's bad, but don't be the monster everyone thinks you are. You can be better."
"Why Hulk help? No one give Hulk chance." Hulk admits.
"We'll give you one." Spider-Man said. "What if I said there's a team of heroes that would want nothing more than to have a big guy like you on it?"
Hulk looks to Spider-Man and Supergirl before pointing to himself causing them both to nod.
Hulk smiles softly when Absorbing uses this opening to punch Hulk off him.
"Didn't anyone ever teach you to not take your eyes off the enemy?" Absorbing Man asks when Maria flew in from above on the Quinjet.
"That's why I'm here." She said firing a missile.
"Hit the deck!" Spider-Man said as he, Supergirl and Hulk jumped out of the way as the missile smashes into Absorbing Man leaving only his stone skull.
"I hate heroes." Absorbing Man groans.
Up on the Helicarrier, Absorbing Man was being thrown into a cell with Jaden, Kara, Maria and Hulk looking at Nick Fury and Amanda Waller on the screen.
"I must say kids, I'm impressed. You defeated Absorbing Man and even made a friend in Mr. Banner." Fury said but Hulk roared.
"Not Banner, Hulk." Hulk corrects.
"Right, right. Well Hulk, I think Superhero High is the perfect place for someone like you. We would love to have you join us." Waller smiles.
"Hulk student!" Hulk smiles pulling Jaden and Kara into a bone-crushing hug. "Strong Girl, Bug Boy and Hulk friends now!"
"You bet Hulk." Kara groans.
"But could you let us go so we can get you set up?" Jaden groans as Hulk let go.
As Jaden picked himself up Maria looked at him with interest. 'This kid might be fun to have around.'
Back at Super Hero High, Jaden and Kara were walking down the halls.
"Well guess we're still Avengers." Kara said.
"Yeah…guess we are." Jaden said.
"Jaden I need to tell you something. It's really important." Kara said as he stopped and turned to her. "Yes I get distracted when I'm on missions with you, and it's gotten in the way so many times but it's because there's something I have been struggling for so long to say."
"What is it?" Jaden asks when Kara grabs him by his supersuit and pulls him into a kiss on the lips surprising him.
"Jaden I have been in love with you for so long. When I first saw you swinging in and save the day I thought you were the most amazing hero in the world and then when you helped train me to control my powers as Spider-Man and taught me how to have fun and be myself as Jaden I fell in love with you even more. I get distracted when we're on missions because I love you and it wasn't until that you almost walked away from me that I'm finally able to say it and I know this is a bit out of—"
Before Kara could finish Jaden pulls her into another kiss stopping her mid-sentence.
"You worry way too much you know that?" Jaden smiles.
"Yeah, I know." Supergirl blushes.
"How about we start small? Wanna go get some dinner?" Jaden asks.
"Absolutely." Kara smiles as he reaches out and took her hand causing her to feel like a million bucks.
That night, at Belle Reve, the same van that robbed SHIELD pulled up in front of it.
"Alright boys, time for the moment of truth. You guys ready?" Tinkerer asks over the speaker.
"Oh yeah." The 4 shadows said.
Suddenly a large explosion went off, in his cell, Adrian Toomes was sitting down when 4 shadows came into the light.
One was wearing a yellow suit with a brown vest up front with two gauntlets that had static electricity flowing from them. This was Shocker.
One was wearing a black and purple suit with a purple mask and projectile like bracelets strapped to his wrists. This was Prowler.
One was wearing a green armor with red lenses over the eyes and a long scorpion tail coming out of his back. This was Scorpion.
And the last one was a large man in an orange bear-shaped armor with two giant claws, this was Grizzley.
"Hey Vulture, we're putting together a new team but we need one more. Interested?" Shocker asks as Adrian grins.
"On one condition. I want our first target…to be Spider-Man."
