Lex climbed onto the plane and sat down next to his step sister, Daley. The minute the plane left the ground, the rest of the group was kidding around. I don't understand teenagers.

He wished he was the same age as everybody else. The camping group had one more slot open, and Daley had encouraged him to go. He knew he would feel left out.

A couple hours later, the plane started shaking. Lex looked out the window to see dark clouds. The pilot yelled at them to sit down. Daley gripped his hand, and he tried to let go, to show he wasn't a baby, but she held on tight.

Lex gripped Daley's hand as the plane started to fall.

Lex realized Daley was just looking out for him. She had always been pretty bossy.

The plane crashed to the ground. Daley immediately went to talk to the captain. Then they all headed out of the plane.
