Chapter 43: Field Trip Chaos
Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter. I went all out with this one and put not one but two different episodes in this. I hope you like what I have planned. I also would like to say I am truly sad for the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman who was an awesome Black Panther. I hope you like what I have planned. Please Review and Enjoy.
In the cafeteria, Jaden was sitting down at a table with MJ, Miles, Kitty and Courtney who all had their masks off as Courtney was saying how she got her powers.
"So this Cosmic staff belonged to the former hero Starman and when he died he gave it to his sidekick to pass it on to the next worthy successor and as luck would turn out his sidekick was my new stepfather." Courtney said.
"Whoa what happened when you used it the first time?" Jaden asks.
"I uh…blew up a bully's car." Courtney said embarrassed causing them all to laugh.
"Classic." Kitty chuckles.
"But man when I came back into town I was hoping to see you two again but never did I think it would be like this." Courtney said.
"Yeah life is full of surprises like that, but it's great to see you again." MJ said.
"Same here. It's great to see you again." Jaden smiles.
"Hopefully you won't mind hanging with us too." Miles said.
"Hey if you guys are willing to put with this guy, you're alright in my book." Courtney giggles pointing to Jaden.
"Oh thanks Courtney." Jaden said as they all laughed.
"You're alright Stargirl I like you." Kitty smiles.
"Thanks guys." Courtney smiles before looking to Jaden. "So what's your deal?"
"It's a long story, but basically I was bitten by Radioactive Spider and with a little science know how I was able to become a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man." Aiming his wrist at the desert table Jaden shoots a web out and yanks a slice of superfood cake off the counter and onto his plate.
"That's cool. Trade ya." Courtney said holding up her staff.
"No way my spider-powers are way cooler than that." Jaden smiles.
As Wonder Woman walks up to the counter, she dials Batgirl and Supergirl.
In the study hall, Supergirl was groaning.
"Ugh man I hate homework." Supergirl said.
"Who doesn't?" Batgirl smirks when her phone rang. "Oh hey it's Wonder Woman."
Answering it Wonder Woman's face appeared on screen.
"Hey want anything from the caf before it closes? Got quite a selection." Wonder Woman said showing them all that was left when they noticed the last slice of Superfood cake.
"Superfood cake!" They both smile.
"That sweet, sweet quinoa center." Batgirl smiles.
"In a cauliflower meringue crust." Supergirl smiles.
"Only one piece left." Wonder Woman said hanging up.
"Eh cake." Supergirl shrugs.
"Who needs it?" Batgirl asks.
Seconds later both were running out.
"Eat my dust!" Supergirl said taking off.
Acting quickly Batgirl took out her net gun and fired causing it to trap Supergirl before she used her jetpack to fly ahead.
"My mind says don't use heat vision on a friend but my gut says cake." Supergirl rips off the net and fired Heat vision at the jet pack causing Batgirl to fall.
"Whoa!" Tumbling to the ground Batgirl looks up to see Supergirl flying ahead. "Oh no you don't!" Batgirl takes out her grapple gun and fired it causing it to latch onto Supergirl's cape stopping her.
"Whoa good grappling." Supergirl said impressed before flying off with Batgirl sliding behind.
"You learn quite a bit when your boyfriend swings from building to building like it's nothing and soon I'll be swinging in for that cake." Batgirl said.
Racing to the cafeteria they saw the door open to reveal Lady Shiva.
"Whoa!" Batgirl and Supergirl yelp as the heroes leap out of the way.
Jaden was about to take a bite when his, Miles and MJ's Spider-sense went off.
"Incoming!" Jaden said as they grabbed Kitty and Courtney avoiding both girls as they crashed in.
"Can't stop." Supergirl said.
"Won't stop." Batgirl said as she yanks Supergirl back and spins her around throwing her across the room.
"They really want that cake." Wonder Woman said.
From opposite sides Supergirl and Batgirl glare each other down before leaping in only to smash into each other and fall to the ground.
Groaning both look to each other and start laughing.
"This is so silly." Supergirl laughs.
"Yeah we can split it." Batgirl smiles.
However right before they could grab the slice Harley moves in and takes it.
"As a famous girlie once said let me eat cake." Harley smiles before eating it.
Groaning both girls groan in defeat.
"Yikes." Kitty said.
"Talk about a mess. They went through all that for cake and someone else got it." Courtney said.
Jaden looks down to see he hadn't eaten his slice yet and then to them.
Getting up Jaden walks over to them.
"Here." Jaden said holding out the plate surprising them.
"Jaden?" Batgirl said.
"Hey I can get a slice another time. If you two were willing to go through all this for a slice you need it more than me." He smiles.
"Aw. You're the best." Supergirl smiles as both girls give him a hug before taking the cake.
"Wow Jaden way to be the hero." Courtney said.
"It's just me being helpful." Jaden shrugs before yawning. "Listen guys I'm gonna turn in. See you guys tomorrow."
"Wow amazing how some things never change." Courtney said.
"Yeah tiger is one of a kind." MJ smiles.
As Jaden walks out Supergirl looks at him and smiles.
Making his way to his room, Jaden was about to enter when a pair of hands covers his eyes.
"Guess who?" A familiar voice said.
"Hmm this is tricky." Jaden said. "Barbara is that you?"
"Wrong."
"Uh Diana…no wait. Kara." Jaden smirks as she took his hands off her.
"Correct." Kara smiles.
"Been a while since I've seen that pretty face." Jaden said.
"Yeah…not since our big date." Kara smiles as they both blush at the memory. "Thanks for the cake by the way."
"Well I'd be a pretty lousy boyfriend to let my girls go hungry." Jaden chuckles opening his door. "You wanna come in?"
"I'd love to." Kara smiles following him in.
"So tell me how was it sharing a place with Big Barda and Lady Shiva?" Jaden asks as she sat down next to him.
"Oh very interesting Barda was a sucker for Aunt Martha's cooking." Kara smiles. "Sorry I didn't contact you much after our date I went on a few trips with my Aunt and Uncle."
"Well look at you reaching out to your foster family." Jaden smiles.
"It's like you said they're my family." Kara smiles.
"You've come a long way from that shy girl I first met." Jaden said.
"Well I had an amazing boyfriend looking out for me." Kara said hugging Jaden.
"Oh you." Jaden smiles hugging her back.
Looking up both Jaden and Kara lean in and kiss each other.
Wrapping their arms around each other Jaden and Kara moan as they make out passionately.
"You are something else." Jaden smiles.
"Right back at ya." Kara giggles. "So any plans for the rest of the night?"
"Well I was about to take a shower. Wanna join me?" Jaden offers.
"Hmm tempting." Kara teases before flying up. "Meet you inside." Kara winks before flying into his bathroom.
"Shy Kara is cute but bold and forward Kara is hottie." Jaden grins going in after her.

Turning off the water, both Jaden and Kara went to bed and snuggled in close.
A few days later, Phil Coulson had taken a few students on a field trip to the museum.
There Jaden, T'Challa, Courtney, Danny, Hal Jordan, Carol Ferris were with Coulson as they walked into the exhibit.
"A Nordic Rune Stone, named for the great myths like Odin, Loki and the Mighty Thor." Coulson said as Jaden was in the back with Courtney.
"I thought a straight A student like you would be at the front of this." Courtney smirks.
"Yeah well the last field trip I was on gave me quite a few problems so I really don't want any more field trip trouble coming my way." Jaden cringed.
In front of the stone, T'Challa, Danny, Carol and Hal were looking at it.
"I sense something unique about this stone." T'Challa said.
"What do you mean? It's just a rock." Carol asks.
"I studied ancient text in Kun Lun." Danny said reading the texts. "It says Warrior…be afraid of the coming…winter?"
Suddenly the stone glowed bright causing all the heroes in the room to gasp as sudden cold wind blew through the museum.
"Did someone crank up the AC?" Courtney asks when from the blizzard a large frost giant with a strange talisman around its neck appeared.
"This is why I hate field trips." Jaden cringed as the frost giant roared causing everyone else to scream and panic.
"People quick! Get to the exit!" Phil said trying to lead everyone away. "You're on kids."
"What is that thing?" Danny asks.
"You're the one who read the rock." Carol said.
"Doesn't matter. We gotta take that thing down." Jaden said opening his shirt to reveal his suit under and put his mask on.
"Agreed." T'Challa said as his necklace activated turning him into Black Panther.
Using their rings Hal and Carol turned into Green Lantern and Star Sapphire, Courtney took out her cosmic staff and turned into Stargirl and Danny changed into his Iron Fist outfit.
Leaping in Black Panther kicks the Frost Giant in the face but it felt nothing.
Swinging its club, the giant forced Black Panther to retreat as he leaped back narrowly dodging the attacks.
"Hey Frosty the Ugly Snowman back off!" Swinging in Spider-Man fires a web getting his attention.
Roaring the Frost Giant attacked him but Spider-Man dodges causing it to destroy an old Viking ship.
"Hey buzz off!" Stargirl fires a beam from her staff causing the giant to cringe. "I just met up with my childhood friend and I really don't wanna see him get squashed so soon!"
Flying in Stargirl swings her staff but the frost giant swings his club and his overwhelming strength sent her flying backwards into Spider-Man knocking them both to the ground.
Moving in Iron Fist slowly approached it.
"There must be a weak spot somewhere." Iron Fist said when the Frost Giant swings his club at it.
"Look out!" Moving in Green Lantern made a giant baseball mitt to catch the attack. "Dude now is not the time to be thinking!"
"Come on Iron Fist get your head in the game!" Star Sapphire said flying in but the frost giant blasts her back.
"Sapphire!" Both boys gasp before the giant broke free and whacks them both to the ground.
"Man we are not doing so hot." Spider-Man said as Black Panther stood up.
"We need to work as a team or we will surely fail." Black Panther said.
As all of them stood up they were about to face the monster when they suddenly heard thunder echo.
"Huh?" Suddenly lighting shot down from the skylight and from it a man in armor, a winged helmet, blonde hair and a hammer landed in front of the Frost Giant, this was Thor.
"Whoa." Green Lantern said
"For Asgard!" Thor held up his hammer trapping the Frost Giant in a prison.
As the heroes ran over Thor stops them. "Stand back. The matters of Asgard are no place for oddly dressed younglings. As the Son of Odin, I Thor will handle this myself." Thor said as the Frost Giant broke free and attacked him.
"Did he say his name was Thor?" Stargirl asks.
"Did he call us Younglings?" Star Sapphire glares.
"And oddly dressed." Green Lantern said looking at his outfit.
"Thor we can help. We're all Super Hero High students. We can help you beat Big Ugly over there." Spider-Man said as Thor dodges the attacks and lands next to him.
"Your bravery is admirable, but the "Big Ugly" as you call it is a Frost Giant, not a common thief. Best you all leave this to me." Thor said as the Frost Giant created an axe made of ice and charged in.
Leaping in Thor whacks it away with his hammer.
"Did he just dis us?" Stargirl asks.
"He'd have to notice us first." Green Lantern said.
"So rude." Star Sapphire said.
Spinning his hammer lightning surrounds it before Thor throws it sending the Frost Giant smashing through the wall knocking it out.
Holding out his hand, Thor's hammer flew back into it before he turns to the young heroes.
"Fortune was merciful on you today. You could have been hurt." Thor said walking over.
"Thor, we could have taken care of ourselves." Spider-Man said.
"Aye. Someday you will all make fine warriors, but for now any troubles of Asgard that come to Earth are my responsibility." Thor assures before walking away.
"Man did I suck out there." Stargirl said.
"I thought you were pretty cool out there. You know until it whacked you into me." Spider-Man said.
"In the Green Lantern Cor. I heard about the amazing warriors and gods of Asgard, but seeing them up close." Green Lantern said.
"Clearly all that fame goes to their heads." Star Sapphire said.
"The way he talks reminds me of my father's lectures." Black Panther said as Thor walked up to the giant and noticed the item around his neck.
"What's that around your neck giant?" Thor asks curious.
"Let's take a deep breath. Remember, he who angers you conquers you." Iron Fist said when Spider-Man's spider-sense went off.
"Oh no." Spider-Man said before running to Thor who was about to touch it. "Thor don't touch that!"
Looking over at him Thor glares.
"Uh look I have a bad feeling about that item. Don't touch it." Spider-Man said.
"Stand down little one, the matter is well in hand." Thor said grabbing the item and when he did a bright green light engulfs Thor causing Spider-Man to step back.
"Thor!" Running over the others arrive to see Thor had been turned into a frog.
"Ribbit." Thor said.
"Aw he's so cute." Stargirl and Star Sapphire said.
"Cute? I am the Son of Odin!" Thor said.
"Uh Thor how do I put this delicately?" Green Lantern asks.
"You have been transformed into a frog." Black Panther said.
"Only one person in the 9 realms who could have accomplished such bewitchment." Thor said.
"Who? Dr. Facilier?" Spider-Man asks causing Stargirl to gasp.
"You've seen Princess and the Frog? That's one of my favorite movies." Stargirl said.
"Mine too. So romantic." Star Sapphire sighs.
"My evil half-brother Loki." Thor said.
"The god of mischief and trickery?" Black Panther asks.
"The very same. Our father, Odin is the ruler of Asgard and ever since he was a child Loki has sought the power for himself. There's no mischief that will not attempt to disgrace me, usurp my father's throne and seize control of Midgard and the rest of the nine worlds." Thor explains.
"Midgard? Wait that's Earth." Spider-Man said.
"Trouble is at hand. I must return to Asgard at once." Thor said hopping away.
"Dude I get that you're hopping mad at your bro." Green Lantern said as everyone gives him the deadpan look.
"Leave the quips to the pros." Spider-Man said before turning to Thor. "But he's right Thor you're not exactly in a position for revenge."
"I am still Thor the Thunderer and Loki will face my—" Before Thor could finish a fly flew in and Thor shot his tongue out and ate him.
"We're going with him." Spder-Man said.
"Agreed." They all said.
"Where I go is no place for mere mortals." Thor said.
"You said it yourself. Midgard is in danger which means we are in just much danger as you are. That means we have just as much reason to fight alongside you." Black Panther said.
"Not to mention the small problem that where you are a frog!" Spider-Man reminds.
Sighing Thor let out a ribbit. "Very well." Thor spins his hammer quickly and a portal to Asgard opens. "Prepare yourselves for a world of wonders beyond your imagination."
All of them smile eager to see the place.
However, when they arrived they were instead greeted by a winter nightmareland with the whole place covered in ice and all the citizens frozen solid.
"Asgard covered in ice? No! Loki has already seized control. Beware young heroes." Thor said leading to them to palace.
"This is horrible." Star Sapphire said looking around.
"A Prince always prays he never has to see his kingdom in danger." Black Panther said.
"Sounds like you know what Thor is going through right now." Spider-Man said.
"I do Spider-Man. When I given the title of Black Panther by my father, I swore an oath to always be there as hero to the world but to my people and my home as well. It is a heavy burden but I will carry it." Black Panther vows.
"Loki come out!" Thor calls out when suddenly they heard him be silenced.
"Thor!" Spider-Man said as they saw Thor frozen in a block of ice and suddenly Frost Giants burst out of the snow and it all went black as one hit Spider-Man in the head.
In the royal palace, we find our heroes trapped in an ice prison as a man with black hair, horned helmet and green clothes sat on the throne with Thor trapped in an orb. This was Loki.
"Apologizes for the chilly reception brother." Loki said but got no reaction from Thor. "Nothing? Not even a sneer of disdain for my spell of containment? I hope you appreciate the effort it took to drag you and your accursed hammer here all the way from Midgard."
"Brother! Release me or suffer!" Thor yells.
"It was so easy to use your arrogance against you Thor. You never could resist showing off against Frost Giants. One reason I made a pact with them. I simply set the stage and you came charging in warts and all." Loki smirks. "I have so many frog jokes the mind is reeling."
While Loki was gloating Iron Fist was feeling around the prison to find a weak point.
"This Magical Stone of Norn is what transformed you but it was your pride that made you a frog. With it, I can keep everyone in Asgard trapped in ice. As for father, he sleeps in his chambers recharging his powers in the Odinsleep. Unaware that my frost giants will soon make his nap more permanent." Loki said.
Behind Loki they saw two frost giants banging against the door with a battering ram trying to break it open and kill Odin.
Looking at his brother, Thor growls.
"What I have been denied these long centuries is finally within my grasp. Thor disgraced and Loki triumphant!" Loki declares.
"Uh sorry Joki. Don't wanna interrupt this family moment but we have something to say about that." Spider-Man said getting his attention.
"Have you found it yet?" Green Lantern asks looking at Iron Fist.
"Patience is a virtue." Iron Fist nods causing them all to ready themselves.
"Then there are these." Loki said floating down with Thor and landing in front of them. "Keeping pets of your own Thor?"
"We are not pets." Black Panther said.
"Says the guy in a cat costume." Stargirl said.
"Found it! Hyah!" With a glowing fist Iron Fist smashes the ice prison allowing the heroes to leap out.
"Bring it!" Spider-Man said as Loki flew back and the Frost Giants charged in.
Firing a web, Spider-Man swings in and kicks one in the face.
Charging in Black Panther slashes a club to pieces before delivering a powerful strike to its wielder.
Doing a frontflip Iron Fist punches one with a glowing fist while Star Sapphire created a bow and arrow and wings before firing knocking them back allowing Green Lantern to create a giant fist to smash them to the ground.
"Stargirl get the frog!" Spider-Man orders.
"I'm on it!" Stargirl said flying in.
Loki looks to her and fires green beams but Stargirl flew out of the way and fires a beam at the containment spell freeing Thor.
"To me, Mjolnir!" Thor orders as his hammer flew into his hand. Loki! Gird thyself villain!" But before Thor could attack a Frost Giant forced him to leap back.
"We got this!" Star Sapphire created a giant teddy bear that blocked a Frost Giant's attack and pushed it back.
Creating a machine gun, Green Lantern fired multiple blasts to keep them away until one froze his arms and legs.
Looking around Spider-Man saw they were all surrounded.
Black Panther was pinned under a club trying to keep it from crushing him, Iron Fist and Green Lantern were trapped in ice, he and Star Sapphire were barely keeping them at bay and Stargirl was trapped in Loki's containment spell.
"Thor! I'm calling a tactical retreat!" Spider-Man yells.
"By Odin's beard…this is humiliating." Thor groans before slamming his hammer down creating a bright light.
When it faded away Loki saw all the heroes had disappeared even Stargirl from his spell.
"No!" Loki roars in anger.
In a cold winter forest, a portal opens and all the heroes crashed into the snow.
"Is everyone okay?" Black Panther asks.
"Well we're alive." Green Lantern groans as Thor floated down.
"What were we thinking? Fleeing from battle? The Son of Odin would never—"
"Yeah I get it. Believe me buddy we're heroes too and we hate running away." Spider-Man interrupts. "But the only thing I hate more than running away is getting obliterated which if we stayed would have happened. We need to be smart guys. We need a plan, strategy, something."
Stargirl looks at Spider-Man and was surprised. Her childhood friend Jaden taking charge in a situation she's still new to.
"Spider-Man is right. With so many lives on the line, we have to be careful." Black Panther agrees.
"Spider-Man and Black Panther are right. I put us all in danger because of my pride. My rush to battle may have doomed us all." Thor admits.
Looking at him Black Panther walks up.
"I too know the feeling of royalty. It is not easy being a prince and being a hero as well." Black Panther said.
"Even so you are mortals, I am not." Thor said.
"Yeah but even so no one's perfect." Star Sapphire said.
"Yeah making mistakes is part of life." Green Lantern said.
"Losing an illusion makes you wiser than finding a truth." Iron Fist said.
"What we need is to find a way to lift that enchantment off of Thor." Spider-Man said.
"Got it. Ladies kiss the frog." Green Lantern said.
"Nuh uh blech no way." Star Sapphire said grossed out.
"Hey you guys said you saw the Princess and the Frog." Green Lantern said.
"That's a cartoon. That's not gonna work here." Stargirl said when Thor realized something.
"An idea. Yes, the odds are long but there may be someone Loki has ignored in his conquest. Someone who might help us in tipping the scales in our favor." Thor said getting their attention.
Soon Thor was leading them through a freezing cold cave.
"Are we there yet? I feel like I'm freezing to death." Star Sapphire shivers.
"Fighting Loki would have been faster." Green Lantern said seeing his breath.
"If we make it back no one will ever believe us." Spider-Man said.
"I'm right here and I don't believe it." Stargirl shivers.
"There's something up ahead." Black Panther said.
Making their way to the end they saw a dwarf by an anvil forging a weapon.
"We are here. The home of the Dwarf Eitri, Master Forger." Thor said.
"He is definitely no Snow White dwarf." Spider-Man said as Thor hopped over.
"Master Dwarf, it is I, Thor the Thunderer, Son of Odin the Allfather. I have come—" Before Thor could finish Eitri put out his hand stopping him.
"I know, I know. Make this, sign here, fix that, pull here." Eitri lists.
"But, but." Thor stutters.
"I knew the moment you walked in, Thor Odinson. I made your hammer. The finest weapon in all the nine worlds but did you ever thank me? Did you visit? Write? No! You come only when you need something." Eitri said.
"I don't know Spidey, he's starting to remind me of Grumpy." Stargirl said causing Spider-Man to chuckle.
"Yeah he does." He agrees.
As Thor hangs his head, Black Panther and Spider-Man walk up to him.
"Any prince can say the right thing but a good one can admit his faults." Black Panther said.
"Just saying." Spider-Man said as Thor walked over to him.
"I apo-apologize." Thor said taking off his helmet. "You deserve the highest respect Master Dwarf. The Prince of Asgard should have accorded you that respect and for that I am truly sorry."
Pausing Eitri looks to him. "Your state has taught you some humility. If a prince can bow to a dwarf then maybe there is still hope for Asgard, for all of you." He smiles. "Now what can I do for you, my frog prince?"
Smiling Thor looks to him and then to his friends. "My new friends are in need of some weapons." Thor said.
Nodding Eitri walks up to them.
"To defeat Loki each much turn their shortfall into a strength." Eitri said handing Star Sapphire a bow. "This bow draws on your ability to see the flaws in others but requires absolute concentration. Block out your distractions and focus on the task on hand and your aim will be true."
As Star Sapphire pulls the string an arrow appears. "I can work with this." She grins.
Next he walked up to Stargirl.
"Your cosmic staff is strong but this halberd will bring double the damage." Eitri said handing it to Stargirl who struggles to hold both. "It requires a steady hand, be patient, pick the right moment and unleash your power."
Smiling Stargirl holds the halberd in one hand and her staff in the other.
"How cool do I look right now?" Stargirl asks.
"So cool." Spider-Man said as Eitri walks up to Iron Fist.
"There is no margin for error with this short sword. You cannot wait for opportunity. You must make your own. Trust your instincts." Eitri said handing him the sword.
"I will wield it with honor." Iron Fist bows.
Walking up to Black Panther, Eitri holds out a short spear.
"You possess great speed and quick strikes this short spear will be of great aid. For a fierce warrior who will always fight the hardest for those he loves." Eitri said.
"Thank brave dwarf." Black Panther said taking it.
"You use your powers to protect others but now you must use them to attack. This axe is made to attack. Use it to strike your enemies down." Eitri said handing Green Lantern an axe.
"This is cooler than any axe I can make." Green Lantern said.
"And me? What about me?" Spider-Man asks as the dwarf turns to him.
"You? You have great power inside you all along. The world has been hard on you. You use your words as a shield to protect yourself from an unkind world now you must use them as a weapon." Etiri said.
Sighing Spider-Man looks to the dwarf. "Still a weapon would have been cool."
"True but from this you might find something even better." Eitri grins.
Back in Asgard, the Frost Giants were banging on the door until finally, it started to open.
"At last! Knock knock father. Who's there? Death. Long Live Loki!" Loki declares when Thor enters the room and ribbits. "You again? Looks like we'll be eating Frog's legs at my feast. Destroy him!"
Swinging his hammer, Thor opens a portal and the heroes with their new weapons appeared.
"Surprise! Attack!" Spider-Man declared as they charged in.
Drawing her bow, Star Sapphire aims it and fires. The Frost Giant tries to counter but the attack knocks it to the ground.
"Take them now!" Loki orders as more Frost Giants charge in.
Flying in Stargirl swings her staff and halberd with a duo weapon style whacking two giants down.
"Kyaa!" Leaping in Iron Fist clashes weapons with a Frost Giant and splits its club in half before delivering a series of slashes to its body before kicking it in the face.
Gripping his short spear, Black Panther dodges the Frost Giant's attacks before delivering several quick and powerful strikes to its legs causing it to scream and fall to the ground.
"Strike the tendons and even the most powerful beasts will fall." Black Panther said.
Swinging his axe, Green Lantern slams it down causing the whole place to shake.
"Alright everyone move in! Iron Fist, Green Lantern, on the left, Stargirl, Thor, Black Panther on the right! Star Sapphire, you and me are going right down the middle! Lets move!" Spider-Man said as they the Frost Giants tried to stop them.
Charging in Green Lantern swings his axe shattering their weapons allowing Iron Fist to leap in and nail it with a glowing fist.
Spinning both her staff and halberd Stargirl fires two beams blasting the giants into the wall.
Throwing his short spear it pierced a Frost Giant in the shoulder before Black Panther leaps in and kicks it to the ground.
Running forward Spider-Man fires a web latching onto a Frost Giant's club before yanking it away.
"All yours Sapphire!" Spider-Man said.
"On it!" Star Sapphire said firing an arrow sending it crashing to the ground.
"You thought you could defeat Asgard's warriors? I say to thee…ribbit!" Thor said throwing his hammer knocking the frost giant to the ground. "Fear the Frog of Thunder!"
"You will not stop me!" Loki said using the stone to remove the door. "I will destroy father!"
Suddenly two webs flew in stopping him as Spider-Man lands across from him.
"Geez dude haven't heard it's rude to enter without knocking?" Spider-Man asks.
"Stand aside mortal." Loki orders.
Thor tries to hop in to help but Loki blasts him knocking the little frog to the ground.
"Odin's end is nigh." Loki grins.
"Really? You're smiling about taking over the world like this?" Spider-Man asks.
"What are you babbling about?" Loki asks.
"No one's gonna call you King. You didn't do anything to earn the title. You froze everyone while they weren't looking, hired some giant snowmen to kill daddy while he's sleeping? Talk about pathetic." Spider-Man said.
"You. Then Odin. Then the rest of the universe." Loki growls ready to end him.
"The only way you'd ever get respect is to beat Thor who's a frog. Big whoop Frog Slayer." Spider-Man mocks.
Looking to Thor, Loki undoes the magic turning him back into a man.
"Goodbye brother! No one will challenge my rightful claim to the throne!" Loki said but Thor smirks and slams his hammer down destroying the stone.
"Wow you really fell for it." Spider-Man chuckles.
"The trickster tricked by a mortal?" Loki asks when Thor grabs him by the sleeve and lifts him up.
"He is no mere mortal. He is the Man of Spiders." Thor declares.
"Eh close enough." Spider-Man said.
Whacking the Frost Giants away they turned and ran out leaving Loki all alone.
"Stay on your guard Spider-Man. For the rest of your useless life!" Loki declares before disappearing.
"Man talk about issues." Spider-Man said as Thor looked to see Odin was still sleeping.
"My father still sleeps." Thor said before shushing them.
Back at the museum, Thor brings them back through a portal.
"Til we meet again friends. Your names will be sung through the halls of Valhalla." Thor said.
"We'd settle for those weapons." Stargirl said.
"The dwarves will keep hold of them in case you need them again." Thor said before turning to Spider-Man. "Although I am sorry that you did not receive anything for your efforts."
"Well there is one thing I would like." Spider-Man said getting an idea.
"Name it." Thor said.
"I'm part of a special team of heroes along with Black Panther, Iron Fist and a few other heroes and after seeing you in action I would love for you to join us. What do you say? Wanna join the Avengers?" Spider-Man said offering a hand.
"My friend, I would be honored." Thor smiles shaking Spider-Man's hand. "Until the next time we fight together."
"See you then Thor." Spider-Man said happy for a new powerhouse joining his team.
