Charlie and the Arrested Development

In my opinion, I always thought that Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator was left a bit open for another story. So I thought to myself of what might go on in the third book, had there been one.

Currently I'm working on Tainted Love and the upcoming story Coco Chanel, the final story. I'm hoping that this will be started in November, but I'm going ahead and giving you a little taste tester.

"Dad, do you really believe aliens exist?" a girl asked at breakfast one morning. She was in the kitchen, getting ready for school. On the tv, the same thing was broadcast.

Men from Mars and Venus. Do they truly walk among us?

"That, or very clever humans. You would have to be, to be able to get into the Space Hotel" her father answered.

She nodded and turned back to the screen. Images of a flying glass capsule were now being shown. The little girl wondered what it was. It couldn't be a spaceship. Or could it...

"Do you think people from other planets are cute?"

"I heard they have purple skin!"

"It's the end of the world! They have come to kill us!"

"You saw them?"

"What do you think they were saying?"

"Where are they from?"

Questions were being asked everywhere, left right and centre. Every person wanted a glimpse of the people. Every news team wanted to interview them. There wasn't a soul who didn't want to know every morsel of information. But through this all, a group of people sat in a helicopter, scared.

"Mr. Wonka, do you really think that people are going to buy that we are from another planet?" Charlie asked.

"Maybe. I don't know!"

Charlie stared out the window. They were about to land on top of a huge department store. There was no way, they were going to survive this. The people would find out. Surely...
