Authors note: This whole story started after I saw a tik tok to prompt and I decided to make it a reality, enjoy.
A young couple was enjoying a nice quiet night in their living room. They enjoyed living in a small town surrounded by forests and nature, at least the male did. The female on the other hand was less than pleased for more than one reason. She had been told that the friends she had planned to be her baby's godparents were unable to do so. Hearing such news took a toll on her mood and thus, her visage was soured.
Charlie could easily tell his wife was put out at the fact her friends could not be his child's godparents. Deciding to think up a way to cheer her up he went to the kitchen and got her some chocolate.
Thinking back to some of their previous conversations he remembered Renee's interest in Norse Mythology. Smiling he knew exactly what to do.
Heading back towards the living room, he got his wife's attention.
"Renee, lovely. How about we name Loki the godparent of our child if we cannot find another? I remember you were interested in mythology and we can always change her middle name to one from the Norse myths."
Despite the awkward way he presented it Renee appreciated that he remembered her interests. Smiling and taking the chocolate she responded.
"I'd love that Charlie," she replied, happy.

Oh? It seems I am now a godparent, let the games begin.
--Nine Months Later--
A hospital room was filled with the screams of a mother who was currently cursing her husband out.
"CHARLIE, YOU SON OF A BITCH! NEXT FUCKING TIME YOU'RE GOING TO BE THE ONE GIVING BIRTH I WILL MAKE SURE OF IT!"
Charlie laughed nervously knowing this was the tamest thing she has said in the last seven hours. The doctors were still horrified at the words that came out of her mouth thirty minutes prior. Unknowingly an invisible presence was laughing his ass off at the scenario.
Once the baby had finally come out she was cleaned swiftly and given to her parents. Charlie and Renee looked down at their daughter, smiling softly.
Renee's eyes roamed over her baby and stopped at a birthmark on her collar bone. Looking at it closely she smiled in amusement, laughing. Charlie looked confused until she pointed at the mark. Squinting his eyes he recognized the symbol.
"Hey, that kinda looks like a rune doesn't it?"
Renee laughed again and nodded, getting ready to explain.
"Charlie, that is the Kaunaz rune. You know the one associated with Loki?"
Charlie understood and laughed at the coincidence.
"Funny, we did name Loki as her godparent though. Maybe this is acceptance of the offer?" He laughed, not believing it.
Baby Bella moved her head around stopping when at a particular corner of the room. She smiled a toothless smile and reached out her arms, clenching and unclenching her hands. The entity in the corner smiled back and reached out his hand to let her grab his finger.
