No, I don't care if other people post smut on here but you won't convince me to post it here so don't bother complaining or trying to argue about it. Other than that, I hope you enjoy the chapter.
Chapter 2: Dream of You
Naruto and Sasuke stumbled through the door of the blonde's hotel room, never breaking the kiss. The door slammed shut as he roughly pushed Sasuke up against it, causing a moan to escape the dark haired man's lips. They only broke apart to discard their clothing, haphazardly tossing each piece somewhere in the room. Narutos' band was the opening act for some well known rock band, causing them to be on a world tour. No matter how many times he'd asked Sasuke to join him, the other man refused to give up his job to follow him around the world. This was the first night Sasuke had visited him on tour in three months and they were beyond desperate for each other.
"Fuck," Naruto panted as he ground his hips against Sasuke's, loving the sounds the other man made in response. "I've missed you so much," he told him, his hands moving down the other man's body until he made it to his ass, giving it a squeeze before lifting him up and carrying him to the bed. Sasuke would never admit it, but they both knew he had a bit of a strength kink and loved when Naruto manhandled him during sex.
He put him down on the bed, his eyes roaming his lover's body. He licked his lips as he watched Sasuke position himself so he was sprawled out in the middle of the bed, his legs spread open and cock hard and leaking, desperate for Naruto's touch. "Baby, I need you," the dark haired man whined, pulling Naruto out of his trance-like state.
"I'm going to ruin you," he told him huskily as he started kissing his way up Sasuke's body. Their lips met in a sloppy kiss. There was nothing romantic about it, after being apart for three months, they were both far too desperate to care about soft touches and sweet kisses. Those could wait until later.
"Please," Sasuke begged as he tangled his hands in Naruto's hair. He moaned as Naruto made his way back down his neck leaving marks in this path. His possessive side loved the way Sasuke looked when he was covered in his marks, showing the world he was taken. He loved when Sasuke gasped a little as he took the tip of his cock in his mouth, teasing the slit with his tongue. "Stop teasing, baby," Sasuke moaned.
"Naruto!" a voice yelled, pulling him out of his sleep. He was painfully hard from his dream and it was the last person he wanted to see when he was in such a state. "Naruto," the voice repeated as he was being shaken awake.
"Please get out," he groaned at his pink haired friend, Sakura. She meant well, but he wasn't exactly in the mood for company unless it was that of his soulmate. Unfortunately, he had yet to find his soulmate, hence why he was still having the dreams. It was said that the dreams would stop once you and your soulmate fell in love. When the universe felt it's job was done, the dreams would stop and you could have your happy ever after, or as close as you could get since life isn't a fairytale.
"Only if you get up, you have to meet your manager today, remember?" she huffed. "You know, the one with the same name as your soulmate," she reminded him, making him quickly get out of bed. "Oh," she looked at him with a smirk. "It was one of those dreams?" she teased as she signaled down to his crotch.
"Go away!" he yelled as he covered himself up. It wasn't the first time that she had woken him up in such a state, but she still teased him every time.
She raised her hands in surrender as she made her way out of his room. "Hurry up and take care of your problem so we can get going," she called from down the hall.
He could hear her laughing, but ignored it in favor of a shower. Naruto sighed as he got into the shower, trying to will his boner away but every time he closed his eyes he couldn't help but imagine his soulmate naked in front of him. "Fuck," he cursed as he grabbed himself and started pumping. It was almost embarrassing how quickly he came with Sasuke's name on his lips.
"Enjoy your shower?" Sakura grinned when he walked into the kitchen. He wasn't sure what made him think it was a good idea to be her roommate. He had met Sakura when he first started at his previous entertainment company, Sound Entertainment. She was a stylist and clearly unhappy with the company. Once they had gotten to be friends, she had warned him that they weren't very good to their artists and that even she was looking for a new company. He quickly found out that she was right and was happy when they weren't happy with his work to the point that they let him out of his contract. Sound Entertainment refused to give their artists creative freedom so he was happy when he found Uchiha Incorporated, or more so their subdivision, Uchiha Entertainment.
Naruto's first album with Uchiha Entertainment, released earlier that year, did surprisingly well. He was considered the up and coming artist and expected to win Best New Artist come awards season. Unfortunately, his first manager had met her soulmate and ran off with him after abruptly quitting. That was how he got his new manager, Uchiha Sasuke. The name made him nervous, knowing it was the youngest son of the owner of the company. He had heard rumors that the man wasn't very pleasant, but at the same time he also knew that Sasuke was the name of his soulmate.
"You ready to go meet your soulmate?" Sakura grinned. He had gotten her a job at the company shortly after, saying that she was who he trusted as his stylist. He was surprised when he got his way, but thankful to have a friend within the company. "I can't wait to see him in person, he's always hiding behind face masks and hats whenever he goes out. You know he's attractive, the entire Uchiha family is attractive," she sighed.
Naruto just laughed as he shook his head, "You really think I'm lucky enough to have some sexy rich guy as my soulmate?" He hoped she was right. It was possible given the Sasuke in his dreams was extremely good looking and happened to have many of the Uchiha features.
"Don't get your hopes up too much, I hear he's an asshole," she told him, always up to date with the latest celebrity gossip. "I heard he cussed some girl out when she tried to touch him," Sakura started to list all of the rumors surrounding him.
Naruto shrugged, "I wouldn't want to be touched by some stranger either if I were him. How many people do you think use him for his status?" He always tried to see the good in people. After seeing what he had been like in his past life, he wanted to make sure he was better in this life. His Sasuke deserved better; not someone that could be sweet one minute and a drugged up asshole the next. He had never even tried weed. Naruto knew it wasn't the "gateway" drug that conservatives claimed it was, but he still never wanted to even try any type of drug. Even when he drank he kept his alcohol consumption to a minimum and was more often than not the designated driver.
"You're just saying that because you think he might be your soulmate," she laughed as they headed out the door. He had a photo shoot later that day for his promotions so she decided she'd just come with him. At least that was her excuse, they both knew she just wanted to meet Sasuke.
Naruto was nervous as they waited for Sasuke to arrive in one of the conference rooms. "What if it is him?" he asked nervously.
"Then you get to live your happy ever after," she joked, trying to lighten the mood. "Just calm down, you'll figure it," she assured him with a smile.
Before he could respond the door opened and his jaw dropped at the sight of the man in front of him. It was indeed the man he had dreamed about last night. He was dressed rather casually in a pair of dark jeans and a black button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up, exposing his tattooed forearm, as he looked at a file in his hands. "You covered it up," he blurted out as he stared where he knew the soulmate mark should be.
Sasuke's head snapped up as he stared at the man sitting in front of him. He damn near dropped the folder he was holding with that day's schedule. He followed the blonde's eyes to where he was staring at his tattoos. "Technically you can still see it," he countered. "It would be illegal to cover it."
"Close enough, I sure as hell can't see it from here," Naruto huffed. It upset him that his soulmate would cover the mark that showed they were meant to be together. "Why would you cover it up?" he wasn't sure if he should be mad or sad with Sasuke's actions.
Sasuke's eyes shifted to the pink haired girl next to Naruto. She was clearly shocked, staring at the two men, knowing what was going on. "Can you leave us alone for a minute?" Sasuke demanded. She nodded and quickly ran out of the room, shutting the door behind her.
"Traitor," Naruto mumbled as he watched Sakura leave. So much for the emotional support she was supposed to provide. "Are you going to answer my question?" he asked, trying to remain level headed. He couldn't take his eyes off of the other man's arm.
The dark haired man sat across from him, feeling like he might run away too if he didn't force himself to sit. "I don't know what kind of dreams you have, but mine aren't the best. They didn't exactly make me want to meet you," he told him, trying to appear unfazed by the man's appearance in his life.
"There are good dreams too," he reminded him. "I'm not the same guy that I was then, you don't know me, so don't judge me just off of whatever dreams you have," he hoped that the man would understand that he was a different person.
"Yet every time I look at you I only think of him," he countered. "I never wanted to meet my soulmate," Sasuke admitted, ready to run out of the room and tell his father that he couldn't be the man's manager. Maybe beg him to give him some difficult diva pop star that no one else wanted. He could deal with that much better than he could handle the man in front of him. "I can't do this."
"You don't want to at least try to get to know your soulmate?" he frowned, finally looking into the other man's eyes. It surprised him how expressive his eyes were when the rest of his face showed no emotion. There was something that seemed like a mix of fear and sadness and he didn't know what he could do to change the other man's mind. "We can at least be professional, right?"
Sasuke bit his lip, his mind was telling him it was a horrible idea, yet his heart was screaming at him that he was being a fool. "I don't think it's a good idea," he told him. He was terrified as to what would happen if they worked together. He wasn't sure how he would handle being near his supposed soulmate. Sasuke had heard that people were drawn to their soulmate, that it was impossible to stay away once you found them. He didn't believe it until that moment. He thought once he saw the man he would run for the hills, instead he found himself unable to move.
"That's not a no," Naruto said hopefully. "Give us a chance," he was ready to get on his knees and beg if he had to, but he hoped it didn't come to that. He didn't want to seem completely pathetic. "Just a manager/singer relationship, I'm not asking for anything more," he told him, while add "yet" in his mind.
Sasuke was silent as he ran through his options in his mind. His father would probably say no if he asked him to assign him to someone else. His mother was huge on soulmates and would never forgive his father if he separated him from his soulmate, even if he was the one requesting it, and his father would be able to see through any lie he could come up with, "I don't think I have a choice."
"I promise, you won't regret this," Naruto grinned. He knew that Sasuke wanted nothing to do with him, but he was determined to change his mind.
"Again, I don't have a choice," he sighed, wondering what he could have done to deserve this. He was kind of an asshole, but he wasn't bad person. He didn't deserve the one thing he dreaded the most. Fuck the universe, he thought to himself.
"So, you didn't request to be my manager because you thought I might be your soulmate?" Naruto asked skeptically. He thought that he had to have known his name, it was said the first time they met and everyone dreamed of the first time they met their soulmate in their past life.
"I didn't even know my soulmate's name," he informed him, surprising the blond.
"That's not possible," Naruto shook his head. "We introduce ourselves the first time we met. How could you not know my name?" he asked in disbelief.
Sasuke shrugged, "I've never dreamed of the first time we met. Every dream I have we just call each other stupid pet names, even when we're fighting."
Naruto blinked, unsure what to say. He took a deep breath, "I really hope you get to dream about it one day. It's a nice story." Silence fell over the room, neither one of them knowing what to say. Sasuke was hesitant to even be around him and Naruto was trying hard not to come off too strong. He had been told that his personality can be a bit much at times and he didn't want to push the man further away than he already was.
"You have a schedule to keep," Sasuke broke the silence as he got up. "Let's go," he turned away form the blond and opened the door to find the pink haired girl pretending as if she weren't just listening in on their conversation through the door. "Who are you?" he asked.
"My name's Sakura. I'm Naruto's stylist," she said before looking at the blond. "And friend," she added nervously.
"Whatever, let's go," he called out, walking past her without looking back.
"I'll tell you about it later," Naruto whispered as they followed the dark haired man. She just nodded in response. From the little bit she could hear through the door, she understood why he wouldn't talk about it in front of the other man. He told himself that everything would be okay as he followed the other man towards the exit so they could go to his photo shoot. It would be difficult, but he was going to make Sasuke see why they were soulmates, no matter how much the man may try to fight it. He was going to show him that he shouldn't fight destiny and make him regret ever covering up the soulmate mark.
Let me know what you think...
