When Asta woke up the next morning he exit his room and ran into a pillar hard enough to crack it and once he pulled him out of the pillar he said ''what the this wasn't here yesterday''

Just then Magna walked up and said ''hey there newbie what new''

''not much though I do have a question about this column'' Asta said

''what about it'' Magna asked

''it's just I am sure that it wasn't here yesterday'' Asta said

''yeah, well that it wasn't there'' Magna said

''huh what do you mean'' Asta asked

''it's because this building moves all the time''

''what it does'' Asta asked

''yeah, and ahh you'll get used to it'' Magna said

''huh and here was wandering is if I was imagining this'' Asta said

''alright are you ready for the tour rookie'' Magna asked

''yes sir'' Asta said and for the day Magna showed Asta around the Black Balls base then as the sun was setting and Magna was leading Asta outside when Magna suddenly stopped and Asta bumped into him and said ''could you at least warn me when you do that'' then he looks where Magna was and sees a girl with a slender build and pink eyes as well as long, silver-coloured hair then asked ''who the heck is that''

''well, look at it your fellow rookie'' Magna said

''so, she is a rookie as well'' Asta said the walks up to the girl stick his hand out and said ''hey there I am Asta, and I am from a village that is called Hage''

The girl then slaps Asta and said ''how dare you speak to me so casually you are nothing more than an insect that has barely any mana now then allow me to introduce myself I am Noelle Silva of the royal Silva family''

''what you're a royal'' Asta said shocked then said ''Ahh like I care if your royalty the thing is that we are guildmates and one's statues means nothing in a guild''

''you tell her Asta'' Magna said

''that is where you are wrong'' Noelle said

''Ohh and who decided that'' Asta asked

''I can see that words won't work on commoners like you'' Noelle said then channelled some to do a spell then she said ''now you must know your place'' then she fired the spell

(Oh no I don't have Liebe's grimoire) Asta thought but just before the spell hit Asta the spell curved and hit Magna causing Asta to gain a confused look

Magna gets up and said ''what is wrong with you intituled brat you just attacked me who is a senior member''

''yeah, well that was your fault after all I didn't tell you to stand there'' Noelle said

''what kind of crazy are you I am your superior'' Magna said

''that might be true, but I am royalty'' Noelle said

''and I don't care if your royalty or the sister of the captain of the Silver Eagles and I know that the captain is the only person I know that would take someone like you'' Magna said then Noelle takes her Black Balls robe and throws it on the ground and as she walks away Magna said ''and where do you think you're going''

Noelle turns around and says ''I am quitting this ridiculous squad before any of its filth rubs off on me and everyone knows that the Black Bulls is the worst possible squad to get into and it is not the place for a royal like me'' then walks away

As Noelle was walking away Magna picks up the discarded rob and says ''how dare you to that come back here and apologise to Yami and the rob'' but Noelle keeps walking away

Asta decided to go back in the building and as he does, he says to himself ''what was that about''

The next morning Asta was walking outside when suddenly a large ball of water hit the ground just in front of him and he said ''what was that thing'' then he heads to the spot it came from and hides in a bush then sees Noelle in front of a tree with a target that was painted on a tree with little craters all around and she appears to be panting heavy then she prepares another spell but it misses and heads to where Asta is sending him backwards a by a few feet

In the clearing Noelle took a couple of deep breaths then fired water ball after water ball all the while saying ''why god damn it why can't I hit the target'' then she bend over and says ''I guess what they say about me is true'' and is close to tears then starts to fire more spells while saying ''no I will make you accept me'' then thinks about what her family said to her

In the bushes Asta was crouching down next to Nero and said ''huh I guess she has it bad as well'' Nero made a sound then flow of

Noelle was alerted by a sound look around and said ''who's there'' and saw Asta

Asta, seeing he has been caught gets up and says ''hey''

''you you're the insect from last night'' Noelle said then goes on to ask ''how long have you been there'' then goes to thinks (here comes the mocking)

''what are you'' Asta begins to ask

Noelle who was thinking about the time she had been mocked beings up her arms then begins to cast a spell and said ''no'' but something went wrong and the went out of control and it grew around her and begins to rise causing Asta to run

After a few minutes all the black balls was outside talking about the out-of-control spell when Yami asked Finral ''hey could you use your spatial magic and pull her out of there''

Finral looks at his captain and said ''you must be joking there is no way I can get near that thing''

''well that bullshit'' Yami said then goes on to say ''now if only there was someone that can cancel out magic'' just then there was an explosion and Asta came over the trees and was heading towards them and Yami caught him then said ''well kid you decided to drop in at an excellent time'' then points at the out of control magic and says ''see that thing well we need you to do something about it''

''do got it'' Asta said then he asked ''huh quick question how I am going to get up there after all I can't fly''

Yami looks at Asta and unleashes some magic and says ''and I don't want to hear you your excuses, so I want to suck it up and push pass your limits'' then he throws him

While Asta was flying towards the big ball of water he pulled out his sword and cut the spell dispelling it as both Asta and Noelle was fulling he swaps grimoires as it was it was still early the magic from sunshine gave him some muscles but nor enough to rip his shirt but puts a strain on it then he manoeuvres himself and catch her then turns around so that he was protecting her and he told her ''it is okay Noelle'' then just before he hit the ground a portal opened up and he slid across the ground he gets up and walks over to Finral and says ''I appreciate your help Finral but it wasn't needed a little full like that wouldn't have done much to me''

''so, this is the power that comes from your crimson grimoire though aren't you being a little arrogant'' Finral said /asked

Asta puts the grimoire away and his muscles decrease then he says ''yeah that type of talk comes from the Grimoire that hold the power that once belongs Escanor who was one of the seven deadly sins the sin of pride'' then he turns to Noelle and says ''hey Noelle I have to admit I am jealous of you because you have some serious magical power''

Asta's five leaf grimoire glowed and Liebe appeared walked over to Noelle and said '' your magic power is so great that that you have no control over it'' Liebe sees Noelle flinch then continues ''you know Asta told me what happened last night and I told him that there might be the reason why the spell curved so let me tell you a secret there have been a hand full of people though out time that had magic that they couldn't control''

Noelle looks at Liebe and gasp at his appearance but manage to say ''what do you mean''

''what do mean'' Noelle asked

''what I mean is that though out magical history some of the greatest mages was so much power that they couldn't control it and one of those people is in Asta procession when Escanor was alive he had a title which was call the lion sin of pride which at night he was powerless but during the day he was powerful but he had no control over cause in the morning he grows stronger and the reverse in the afternoon'' Liebe said

''yeah, and that mean that once you get your magic under control you can be powerful'' Asta said

''you really mean that and what do you mean by your jealous of me'' Noelle asked

''I really do mean that once you get control over your magic you can be powerful and well the reason, I am jealous it's just that I have no magical power at all'' Asta said then realised something ''Ohh man I am fucked if I have to keep up with you''

''what you mean to tell us that the reason you were running away was because you can't control your magic '' Magna said ''you should have said so sooner after all this is the Black Balls and we are the squad of misfits''

Asta then said ''yeah plus from what Escanor has told me from his time and the time where this land was call Fiore there was always a squad or guild that was for outcast, and he should know as he was one of those out casts, but it was called the Seven Deadly Sins and I plan to find the other four grimoires'' then the rest of the squad was encouraging her and not caring that she cant control her magic and it was enough to bring tears to her eyes and Asta puts his hand out and said ''now come on we will do our best together as I will be there helping you control your magic and cancelling it if it goes berserk again and I will kick anyone's ass that mocks you''

Noelle grabs Asta's hand and says ''thanks Asta and I look forward to working with you''

As Asta and Noelle was going into the hideout the latter said ''thank you Asta and I also look forward to you to''

A week after the whole out of control spell and the day before Asta had asking around to see what a Magic Knight actually do and right now he, Noelle and Magna are heading to a Village that is near Magna's home village called Saussy village for a mission

When the trio rested for the night and when morning came Asta started to hunt the flame boars and after a few hours the trio was heading to the village while Magna was carrying one and Asta was carrying the rest and Magna was telling them what he used to get up to and that it was the chief that taught him how to truly use him grimoire amongst other things

When the group of three was able to see the Magna quickly drops his boar runs to the edge and says ''somethings not right''

Noelle and Asta not far behind him and the former said ''I see mist is covering the entire village''

''ether this area has some weird weather or someone in the village is using a bit of magic'' Asta said

''we don't have time to chat come on'' Magna said as he rushed towards the village with Asta and Noelle not too far behind him

Once at the village entrance Noelle said ''we can't go in there as it would be as useful walking around while wearing a blind fold on''

''yeah, I have to agree with you there and I don't think I can walk around in there while using sunshine will help ether'' Asta said

''magical power that can cover the entire village this didn't come from Seihi or anyone that lives in this village somethings going on'' Magna said then he looks to Asta and said ''alright rookie cut though the mist with that sword of yours''

''yes sir'' Asta said as he walks up to the village entrance but stops then goes to say ''now you're being silly Magna after all everyone knows you can't cut mist''

''I'm being silly you little punk or did you forget that you can cut and erase magic'' Magna shouted

Releasing that Magna was right Asta pulled out his sword and said ''alright gets started'' then he starts to dispel the magic while Magna directed the team to the town square and when they were close both Magna and Noelle felt some magic

When the trio got to the square and was shocked at what they saw as all the villagers was there however that wasn't what shocked them it was the icicles that was above them as aimed to kill them then they heard someone said ''kill them all'' then the icicles headed towards the villagers

Magna acting quick rush forward with his grimoire active then said ''explosive scatter shot'' and the fire spell hit all the ice spell

After the explosion settled some of the villagers looked up and saw Magna then on of the villagers said ''Magna is that you''

''yeah, it's me what going on here'' Magna replied then gasp as he sees Seihi laying on the ground with a blood wound then rushes over and kneels down and says ''old man you have to stay with me'' up on realising that he was dead he said ''no, please you can't be gone''

Then behind Magna a young boy said ''it like you said grandpa the magic knights are he the village is now saved''

Just of to the side Asta and Noelle the former thought (to kill someone just like that and someone that was a great man)

Of to the other side someone was looking at a pocket watch and when Magna noticed them, he said ''did you do this''

The man looks up and said ''you have made me delay my schedule and I do not appreciate that''

''like I care about your schedule'' Magna said

''well, you should cause in ten seconds every one here is going to die'' then man said then he gets up and as he does me makes a massive icicle then he shoots it

(Ohh, shit I don't have the magic power to destroy that thing) Magna thought then Asta run past him, with Escanor's grimoire out and he thought (what are you doing Asta)

Asta activates his crimson grimoire, and he grows in hight and muscle mass and as it late morning his muscles ripped his shirt but he held put his hand stopped the spell from killing the villagers then he crushed it which shocked everyone with the exception of Magna and Noelle then Asta said ''I will not let you kill anyone else who do you think you are coming here and kill someone''

One of the clocked figures that is behind the ice mage said ''I know for a fact that a magic knight wasn't supposed to be here today, so the only conclusion is they are here for an unofficial mission, but the main question is how did they get in the mist''

Asta heard the question and because of the little side effect of the sunshine he said ''I have the magic known as anti-magic which can negate, and erase said magic and with Magna who knows the village so put the two together getting here wasn't any problem''

The leader then said ''the Black Bulls it is said that they are the roughest toughest out of all the magic squids as well as being the most undisciplined dealing with these will be a waste of time and in five minutes, we will have disposed of everyone here in a manner that is befitting of there state as well as found what we came here for''

Asta walk toward the gang with pride in his step then he brings out a giant axe with a blade shaped like a crescent moon, as well features two golden protrusions, one larger than the other, with the white tips of a spear, the longer one is in the middle at the top of the axe and the smaller one is on the opposite of the blade of the axe and the handle is dark blue and it features a golden semi-circular guard with four golden spikes on it then he said ''like you can do that while I am here''

Then one of the cloak figures said ''mist magic shroud illusory mist'' then goes to say ''if you think we will let you get close to master Heath just like that then you have another thing coming and now in the mist be lost''

Asta just keeps on walking as if the mist wasn't affecting him then he said ''you have it the wrong way it will be you four that will get lost whether it be you walking out of here or I will drag you out of here the choice will be yours''

Heath who was watching thought (how is it possible for him to catch my ice spell with his bare hand and then crush it and as I don't know what type of magic, he is using I can't let him get to close''

''now I am going to ask you a question and I hope you will have enough pride to tell me truth and my question is why massacre this village'' Asta said

''you want to know why'' Heath said as he gets up then goes on to say ''then I will tell you as you know there are three regions in this nation''

''I am aware, and they are the noble realm, the common realm, and the forsaken realm'' Asta said

''so you are aware that Saussy village is in the forsaken realm and most in this realm are inferior just all because that can use a few measly spells that can help there life kinda like beast that cant use tools and to why I intend to kill the villagers the answer is simple I am getting rid of the useless beast that are wasting my time consider yourself you are from the common realm and you have you have enough power to become a magic knight so you are here out of duty but even you can see that they are a waste of time''

Asta begins to think back to one of the things that drives his goal to help those in need no matter the strength of one's magic then he begins to laugh then after a minute he said ''well Heath to you they may beast but as long as I am standing, I will protect them, and you have me all wrong''

''interesting the insects are that important to you and how have got you all wrong'' Heath asked as he makes some ice spears

''I am from the forsaken realm, and I don't have any magical power and I will defend the villagers'' Asta said then the mist mage covered the area and Asta said ''cowedly tact ticks where is your pride''

''do you think you can protect a heard of beasts like this any way I have never like the slow method this way get the same results'' Heath said

''you underestimate me and that will be your undoing'' Asta said then he spins around, destroying the icicles

''I see you are a talent but if you think that will stop me from making my ice fangs then you are a fool so let's see you protect these beast'' Heath said

As both Asta and Magna protect the villagers the latter was thinking (damn it to hell both Asta and I have our hands full protecting the villagers and to make things worst my magic I starting to run out and we are going up against four mages that are powerful enough to be magic knights and I know that leader hasn't shown us everything and this is a hell of a first mission for both Asta and Noelle as this is going south faster than Luck) then he shouts ''and I wouldn't be a man it I let that stop me''

After about five minutes Noelle was think about running away when she heard a females voice in her heard (you can save the villagers but the thing with magic is that it responds to ones heart that is how Asta can use two grimoires they responded to his heart as well as he has no magic but with you your magic will respond to you giving you a new spell one that will save the villagers)

Before Noelle could do anything, a little girl grabbed her clothes and the girl said with a begging tone ''please miss magic knight you have to help us we need you''

Looking the girl in the eyes Noelle could see how terrified the little girl was then thinks (this little girl is terrified and yet she is looking me in the eyes and beg for help I have to protect her) just then her grimoire began to glow then opened and a new spell appeared then though (a brand new spell I will not run not now not ever) then a dome of water covered and protecting the villagers then she said ''I can't run as I am royalty and what's more I am a member of the Black Balls''
