"So. No boat, eh?"
Jack looked up from his compass to see Anamaria staring at him intently. Too intently for his taste.
"Ah. Well. It blew up, didn't it?" His voice revealed nothing of his fear of Anamaria's wrath. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
She narrowed her dark eyes. "Convenient, Sparrow." He cringed inwardly, wondering if she would slap him. Instead, she began to head below deck. Jack's tentative voice stopped her.
"I suppose you'll have to… stay onboard the Pearl until we can find you one."
She looked behind her with a half-smile.
"I suppose so."
