[Somewhere in Regina: Canada]
Two Mountie police were investigating reports of suspicious activity in an abandoned warehouse just outside of Regina. Both pulled out their flashlights at the ready as they saw that one of the doors of this building covered with 2x4s look like it was forcibly opened with a great deal of force.
"McFarland stay behind me."said the older Mountie to his partner as both of them readied their sidearms as they ventured into the dark warehouse with their flashlights being the only source of light they had available.
"This is crazy...This Warehouse has been abandoned for years so why are we bothering kicking out some squatter?"asked the younger Mountie as he felt like he and his partner were wasting their time.
"Don't be stupid. This building used to be a research facility for the Canadian military back during the Cold War where Canadian scientists researched conventional weaponry and chemical research. Although abandon there was still many items in this Warehouse that are too dangerous to be in civilian hands. Besides with all of this snow and the fact that whoever broke in here went to such trouble proved that however they are they ain't no squatter McFarland, they are here looking for something . It's our job to make sure that this is just a false alarm and nothing more."scolded the older Mountie to his partner who felt like he should have been taking his job more seriously.
"A shame you two were the one sent here to get in my way. I was using this place for my research but it seems I will have to move along as I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the calvary comes. I don't want to deal with any unnecessary headaches that will take me away from my research so I will have to move along."said a mysterious voice as the two Mounties wave their flashlights around as they went back to back trying to find where that voice came from.
"Saskatchewan Mountie Police! Whoever you are come out of the shadows with your hands in the air!"said the older Mountie as the other one, known only as McFarland looked like he was going to pee his pants.
"A last I can't have you putting any unnecessary attention on me. So I'm afraid I will have to put you on ice for a while."send Mr Freeze as he came out of the shadows and fired his freeze ray at the Mounties.
Both men can only scream with horror as they were frozen solid in a huge block of ice. Once Mr Freeze was satisfied that any immediate threat was taken care of did he past them Frozen men before heading outside with documents in his arm and several crates being pulled by a rope he was holding and his other hand.
Mr Freeze just calmly walked to one of the snowmobiles outside as he tied the crates onto the back of the snowmobile and looked at the documents one last time before getting on the snowmobile and driving away, somewhere into the snow.

[Beverly Hills high School]
"Now class I want you all to all to remember you must finish your assignments on your overall summary of Elephant run and what impact it had on you. Take your time and choose your words carefully as remember words are a powerful force and choosing the right words to say what you mean will help you all out in the long run as you move on to college and/or eventually your future careers."said Mr Wayne as the bell rung, indicating that it was time for lunch as his students began to pack up their stuff and leave the classroom.
"Clover may I have a word with you."said Bruce as Clover looked at him with a confused look as she walked over to see what was wrong.
"Is something wrong Mr Wayne?"asked Clover as Mr Wayne pulled out what look like homework.
"I was grading your homework that I gave you on running out of time and frankly I was underwhelmed."said Mr Wayne as Clover could clearly see a big F on the paper.
"But why?!"asked Clover and she didn't understand how she got an F.
"Clover I carefully read your paper and it's clear you only read the back as you didn't go into detail on several parts of the story and it's clear on the some of the multiple choice parts of your homework that you guessed, and even then your answers were wrong."said Mr Wayne with a disappointed tone in his voice as he knew Clover could do better.
"I'm sorry. I was just really tired and I didn't want to read the whole book so I just skimmed it."said Clover honestly that she felt like lying wouldn't get her anywhere
"I know you're young and you want to enjoy your life but you got to remember to keep up with your school work as you want to get into a good college with your friends don't you."said Bruce as Clover nodded her head.
"Then you need to keep up your grades as I can tell that you three really want to go to the same college together so I will give you another chance to do your homework and this time Clover properly read running out of time. If you want I can tutor you sometime after school or the weekend."said Bruce as Clover got a brilliant idea.
"Um Mr Wayne is it okay if Sam joins us. She usually helps with my homework and I have come to understand her study method."said Clover as Sam dropped her books on the floor as it didn't take a genius to realize what Clover was up to.
"I don't see any problem with that as if having Samantha with you makes you more comfortable then I have absolutely no problem with her joining us for our study session."said Bruce as Sam quickly walked over to them.
"I'm so sorry Mr Wayne! Clover didn't mean any of that and I'm sure you're a busy man and probably have a lot of students to tutor."said Sam as she was really nervous about this as she knew Clover would try something to get her closer to her teacher, even though she has told Clover a thousand times that she did not have a crush on Mr Wayne.
"Samantha I really do not mind as you are a bright student. Clover needs to redo this homework assignment and if she feels comfortable with you around I asked that you please join us for a study session since I can tell she really wants you to be there and if it helps her improve then please accept my selfishness by coming. I understand that you probably want to enjoy your weekend I promise to make it up to you."said Bruce who although he was only pretending to be an educator took his personas seriously.
He needed to work harder than any other teacher that way the principal and the school board didn't get suspicious as any break in his cover could launch an investigation and that is the last thing he needed until he successfully rounded up every super villain now in this world.
Sam meanwhile was blushing hard as she knew that Clover would try something. But the way Mr Wayne asked her was so sincere that she couldn't think of any way to properly refuse him.
"Well if it will help Clover I suppose I can give up one day of my weekend."said Sam as she accepted Mr Wayne's proposition.
"Good. How does a study session here at school on Saturday morning work for you?"
"We are free Saturday morning Mr Wayne. All of our plans for that day are in the afternoon so me and Clover shouldn't have any problem meeting you here Saturday morning."said Sam as Alex and Clover smiled at each other.
"Great then I will see both of you Saturday morning."said Bruce as Sam, Clover, and Alex walked out of his classroom.
"We like totally need to pick you out a new outfit for your date."said Clover as Sam began blushing.
"Guys I don't have a crush on him!"said Sam even though the blush on her face said otherwise.
"Come on Sammy. Mandy has it bad for Mr Wayne like you do and she's already taking a massive step by sitting next to him during lunch. You need you up your game if you hope to pass her."said Alex since as Sam's friend she wanted to help Sam out.
"Look I don't have a crush on him!"said Sam although the more she denied it, the more her friends were convinced that it was true.
But just as all three of them were about to reach the cafeteria a massive vacuum appeared out of a locker and before any of them knew what was going on they were all WHOOPED!
"Jerry really has bad timing as today we were supposed to have pizza!"said Alex as all three of them fell down the tube that would lead them to WHOOP headquarters.
Soon all three spies landed on a comfortable cushion as they fell from the ceiling as Jerry walked towards them.
"Good evening spies."said Jerry with his usual mocking attitude.
"Jerry it's better be good as they were going to give pizza in the cafeteria."said Alex as she was hungry and she hoped Jerry had a good excuse for whooping them!
"Sorry girls but currently there is a crisis in Regina, Canada that needs your attention."said Jerry as he played a video of the Mounties being slowly chiseled out of a huge block of ice.
"Wow."said Clover as none of them were expecting that.
"These Mounties were investigating a break in at Old Canadian military warehouse. Although long since abandoned, there was rumors that several components for a top secret military project along with the documents for said project being somewhere locked away in that very warehouse."said Jerry as the spies looked at the screen.
"Yeah so how did those Mounties end up like popsicles?"asked Clover as the video showed the Mounties finally being freed from the ice before being covered by thick blankets and being given hot chocolate to warm them up.
"We don't know as at the hospital both Mounties claimed that some kind of walking corpse shot them with some kind of freeze ray."said Jerry as the spies raised an eyebrow at that as soon as they heard walking corpse.
"First Bane, and now a walking corpse. What's next some guy who shoots mustard and ketchup out of squirt guns!"said Alex who had a bad feeling about all this as something was not right.
"Can you tell us more about this project the Canadian military worked on?"asked Sam as she felt like that they all needed to know more about the secret military project the Canadian military was working on if they wanted to catch this mysterious perpetrator.
"All we know is that it was called project Lungfish. The Canadian government is still refusing to reveal more than that so I'm sorry to say spies that you will be going in blind and you will need to do some detective work if you wish to know more."said Jerry who hated sending in his spies with little to no knowledge.
"Since whoever did this used a freeze ray, we should be prepared for ice based combat so gadget us up Jerry."said Alex as Jerry pressed a button to give his spies their gadgets.
"For today's gadgets you will be getting the heat seeking sleep dart ballpoint pens, precision lip balm lasers, the A.W.F.U.L boots to help you move around, the net throwing extendable rod mascara. and last but most importantly a all terrain snowmobile as this time in Saskatchewan is especially snowy so you'll need a vehicle to help you move."said Jerry as Sam, Clover, and Alex took the gadgets with Sam taking the keys for the snowmobile.
Meanwhile Bruce had listened in to everything they had just said thanks to his tracking device that was placed on Alex's backpack. He overheard everything and immediately suspected who was behind all of this as he only knew one person who liked to use freeze-based weaponry.
'Based on everything he said the only person I can think of who would do need any of this is none other than Victor Fries aka Mr Freeze. What does Freeze want with this Project Lungfish? He must believe that it will somehow save his wife but I know Freeze too well to know that he will not be afraid to use innocent people as guinea pigs to make sure his experiments work. I have to get to Regina and stop Freeze as those girls have never faced anyone like him as there's nothing more dangerous than someone who feels like they have absolutely nothing to lose." thought Bruce as he stood up from his lunch table and ran out of the cafeteria.
Mandy and many of the other students were confused by this. Bruce on the other hand went to his car and quickly turned on the auto pilot and tinted the windows before driving off. As Bruce was putting on his Batman costume, his autopilot was driving through the streets with the intention of going to Bruce's Beverly Hills home / temporary secret base to get access to something Bruce had finished building a few days ago.
Thanks to his money and mechanical skills, Bruce has successfully built another bat wing although although it was smaller than the original. Batman built this bat wing to act as his fastest mode of transportation to get him from place to place as it was built to be more aerodynamic than the original Batwing, along with stealth technology to help him move around without drawing any unnecessary attention.
"Freeze must be planning something. There is no doubt in my mind that he's even more desperate now that he's stuck in this world so far away from his beloved Nora. Freeze is probably more dangerous than ever and those spies have no idea what monster they'll run into. I have to stop Freeze from using this Project Lungfish to hurt a bunch of people before those girls end up becoming ice mummies."thought Batman as he drove into his garage.
Within the next couple of minutes Batman's new batwing popped out of a beach cave not too far from his home as it began to soar into the sky. Batman quickly activated it's stealth technology as he began to fly towards Regina: Canada to stop Mr Freeze from doing whatever he's planning as he is clearly more dangerous than ever!
