"High, welcome to Chicago Girls Monthly. How can I be of service?"asked a receptionist at Sam, Clover, and Alex walked up to her reception desk.
"Um, yeah we are the girls that called for the audition."said Clover, as the receptionist began checking her paperwork.
"Oh yes Maggie, Wendy, and Isabella."said the receptionist.
"Yeah, I'm Maggie."said Sam, using her undercover name.
"I'm the gorgeous Wendy."said Clover, replying to her undercover name.
"And I'm Isabella."said Alex, responding to her undercover name.
"Great! It is going to be great working with you girls as we loved the pictures you sent and it's clear that you all are model material."said the receptionist as that she stood up.
"We are just happy at the chance."said Sam, even though being a model wasn't her thing.
"Yeah, we're ready to make our debut into the fashion world."said Clover, who didn't mind this role as she always wanted to be a model.
"But first can you give us some cappuccinos or something that it's cold out there."said Alex, who was shivering.
"Coffee and other warm foods will be provided after the photo shoot."said the receptionist as she motioned for the girls to follow her.
And within a few minutes they followed her into what look like a fully furnished photo shoot studio complete with multiple cameras, lighting, and a professional looking photographer with an oversized scarf and a beret for some reason...?
"Alright girls! My name is Antoine and I'm going to be your photographer today."said Antoin, as Alex made a beeline for the cappuccinos and quickly started drinking one..
"Hah! I'm warming up already..."said Alex, feeling the warmness of the warm beverage warming her up.
"Sorry about her. It's just that we walked all the way over here and it's really cold."said Sam, as Alex did have a habit of breaking character every once in awhile in order to satisfy her need to be warm or cool...
"Oh, think nothing of a young Maggie! I completely understand what she's coming from outside myself cannot stand the Chicago cold... and luckily my contract is up on election Day so I can get out of this freezing City and head back to a warmer climate."said Antoine under his breath, but the spies could clearly hear what he was saying.
"Well... what are we waiting for! Let's make our debut as models!"said Clover as she pulled Sam and Alex over to where Antoine was standing.
"I love the enthusiasm Wendy, it clearly shows that you take modeling seriously which is something that is unknown in the industry but I'm glad you get."said Antoine has he heard a heavy knocking at the door.
"Oh, come on... I already made the payment to that freak this week so what else does he want."said Antoine as he went to open the door.
But as soon as he did that several well-dressed thugs knocked into the side and began charging towards the girls with baseball bats.
"I think our cover has been blown."said Sam, as the spies prepared for a brawl!
One skinny thug swung his bat a clover, who just rolled out of the way before kicking him with a roundhouse kick to his gut, sending him hurling into a nearby wall!
Other large thug tried to bear hug Alex, but the feisty girl responded by kicking him in the face before delivering a punch to the left and to the right before finishing up with a spin kick!
Sam on the other hand was surrounded by a thug wearing a bandana over his face and swung his baseball bat, but Sam responded to a straight kick to the man's sternum, before she followed up with a full rotation roundhouse heel kick, sending the thug flying into his large buddy!
"How did Two-Face discover we were here?!"asked Alex as despise went back to back with one another m
"I don't know, but we need to get out of here before we're captured!"said Sam as she noticed that more and more thugs and working for two face were entering the photo studio.
"Oh, that is it! I'm done doing Two-Face's dirty work!"said Antoine as he made a beeline for the exit, leaving the girls behind to fend for themselves.
"So much for caring about his models..."said Clover as the spies found themselves surrounded.
The thugs just begin giggling among one another thinking they had the clear advantage before a smoke canister fell to the floor and quickly silenced them. As the dogs begin coughing on the floor, Batman appeared and started attacking them one by one with super aggressive attacks!
"The Dark Knight!"said Alex, surprised to see that Batman appeared before them so soon.
"My hero..."said Clover with a blush on her face.
"How long has he been here?"asked Alex, wondering how long Batman has been watching them!
Meanwhile Batman had knocked out the last of Two-Face's thugs as any of them that were still conscious we're picking up their buddies and running away with their tail between their legs as fast as as those legs in question could possibly take them!
"Okay, this is the third time you've come in and saved us! Who are you?!"asked Sam as she got in Batman's face.
"Two-Face is someone I know personally and I will deal with him. For now all of you can just go home and relax at the beach or something, I honestly don't care."said Batman as he tried to walk away, but Alex grabbed him by his shoulder.
"Look! We appreciate you saving our butts the last two times with Bane and Mr Freeze, really we do. But there's no way you're going to face Two-Face on your own! Not with this many people working for him!"said Alex, determined not to let Batman get away.
"You don't know what Two-Face is capable of! You didn't know what Bane and Mr Freeze were capable of and that's what almost got you three killed!"said Batman, reminding the spies that he had to step in every time and save them from almost getting crushed or frozen into popsicles.
"Okay, yeah we almost got killed Mister tall, dark, and handsome. But we've been doing this for a while so we know how to hold our own."said Clover, not willing to let some masked vigilante show them up when they have been doing this for a while.
And have dealt with their assortment of villians!
"Besides! Working alone isn't the best idea right now, especially considering that Two-Face and his organization made us before we even had a chance to try to infiltrate."said Sam, as Batman began to ponder on this.
"You do have a point. How is it that Two-Face already knew what you were up to before you even signed up as models at one of the agencies he's muscling for extortion money."said Batman, wondering how exactly Two-Face would know that.
"That's my point! You don't know how he made us, and neither do we! So I suggest we make a temporary truce and figure out what exactly is going on as I have a feeling this case is going deeper than any of us could imagine."said Sam, as she had to admit that they needed his help.
"Woah, what the heck, Sammy?"wondered Alex, wondering why Sam was suggesting they work with someone they were supposed to capture.
"Look, he knows Two-Face, we dont. We need all the help we can get, especially considering that we just been made."said Sam, as her initial plan to make being models and follow Two-Face's thugs has went out the window.
"Yeah, but can we trust him?"asked Alex, as Batman was suspicious.
"Saving our butts two times in a row isn't enough reason to trust him?"asked Clover, because as far as she's concerned, that was more than enough reason to trust Mr tall, mysterious, and handsome
"Okay, good point. But still, there's just something about a guy in a mask that you can't really trust, as you never know who's under there."said Alex, who didn't believe that good guy should hide their faces m
"Well like it or not, Alex we need his help. We don't know a thing about Two-Face, so best to work with the expert who knows everything about the person you're trying to catch."said Sam, as trusting Batman was probably their best option at this point.
"While you three you have your discussion, I suggest you send to your lab this analysis on something that was stuck on that large thug's shoe."said Batman as he picked up what look like mold.
"Ewww!"said Clover, even though Batman was using tweezers to pick it up.
"No, this is a good thing! All mold and bacteria have a unique signature and cities keep detailed records on what exact mold is located where. With any luck this disgusting substance is going to help us find Two-Face and his organizations home base."said Sam, as she took the mold from Batman and placed it on the compowder for scanning.
"Okay, with any luck this will lead us exactly to where Two-Face hiding."said Sam, but before anything else could be said smoke canisters were launched into the room.
Batman quickly realized that it was sleeping gas and he quickly put on his gas mask as the girls passed out. He grabbed the closest ones he could before having to do a tactical retreat as more of Two-Face's getting into the building with gas masks and baseball bats.
They quickly collected the remaining spy and began heading out into a nearby set of unmarked white vans.
"What happened?"asked Sam, as Batman administered an antidote for the sleeping gas.
"Try not to move so suddenly."instructed Batman, as Clover began rubbing her head.
"Ah, my head hurts like that cram session I had just to beat Mandy in a test."said Clover, before she and Sam noticed that Alex was missing.
"Where's Alex?"asked Sam, wondering where one of her besties was.
"She was captured by Two-Face's gang, but don't worry."said Batman, before the spies realized that they were in a moving vehicle, the Batwing.
"I managed to put a tracker on her before I retreated and right now she is leading us to where Two-Face is! Your friend is tough, I'm sure we'll be able to get there in time."said Batman, as both Sam and Clover worried if Alex would be okay.
Meanwhile the girl in question was tied up and gagged, but struggling in an unmarked white van as she was being taken to wear Two-Face and Babyface was!
