Hi, everyone, I hope you're having a happy New Year! I was inspired by the Disney Chibi Tiny Tales to create this new series. For those who might be worried, I will still be working mostly on the original Xiaolin Dragon King series. For this one, I will be doing random updates. Additionally, the chapters will be quite short, and there will be little to no dialogue. It will mainly focus on describing the wacky antics of the Xiaolin Warriors and other characters while they're in cute, chibi form.

Now that's out of the way, let's get on with the show! Disclaimer: I own nothing except my OC.

The Xiaolin Dragon King: Chibi Tales

Chapter One: Snow Day

The Shoku Warriors, Dojo, and Ping-Pong all looked out one of the windows of the building they were in. It had started to snow the night before and they were seeing what the result of it was. Nearly the entire temple was covered in white, cold powder, which was a few feet above the ground. The group looked at one another and grinned excitedly at the thought of playing in the snow. They all scattered to their rooms, coming back a second later and wearing winter clothes.

Going into another room, the humans and dragon found Juno, who was sitting down on the floor with her legs underneath a large kotatsu. She sighed contently as she leaned against the table. The monks went over to her and pointed to the snow that could be seen from the window. They told her all the things they were going to do, such as build snowmen, have a snowball fight, make snow angels, and many more. Then they gestured for her to come and join them.

However, Juno shook her head, pointing at the snow and making an 'X' with her arms. The monks pleaded with her, wanting her to take part in the fun, but she just huffed and laid down on the floor, snuggling underneath the futon part of the kotatsu. They sighed sadly at the stubbornness of their leader. Then they looked at each other and nodded, all of them getting the same idea.

The group went to stand in front of the redhead and, all at once, grabbed her arms. They tried to pull her out from under the kotatsu, but she held firm and refused to budge. With a burst of strength, she pushed them all and sent them flying. They kept going until they were outside, landing in a pile of snow. The monks and dragon straightened themselves out and looked back at Juno. She gave them a catty hiss, waving her hand.

The door slid shut, making the group flinch from the loud sound. Raimundo, undeterred, turned to the others and suggested that they come up with a plan to get the Xiaolin Dragon King outside. They wholeheartedly agreed, pumping their fists into the air in determination.

Juno was still laying under the kotatsu, positioned on her stomach with her chin rested on her arms. She was enjoying the warm relaxation when a sudden, sweet scent invaded her nose. Sniffing a few times, she opened her eyes and looked to where the smell was coming from.

Clay was standing in the doorway and holding a plate, which had a pile of freshly made dango. The redhead practically drooled at the sight of her favorite food. She held out her hands, wanting him to bring them to her. However, the cowboy shook his head and said she had to come get them herself. She pouted, having no desire to get up from under the kotatsu. They stared one another down, waiting for the other to give in.

Then Juno lifted up her hand and a tree root came out of her plan. It wrapped around Clay's ankle and she pulled, causing him to lose balance and fall to the floor. The plate flew out of his hand, sailed across the room, and landed right in front of the female warrior without spilling a single dango. She grabbed one and happily ate it.

The cowboy sat up and sighed, it was time for a different method.

Kimiko stood over the redhead, holding a gaming console. She knelt down and showed that it was a new Goo Zombies game. Juno looked at it, intrigued, and reaching for the device. But, before she could touch it, the other girl moved back and motioned for her to follow.

The female warrior almost slipped out from under the kotatsu, but quickly realized what was happening. She narrowed her eyes at the Japanese girl before settling down again. Then she pulled out a cell phone and tapped the screen a few times. Kimiko watched curiously as Juno put the phone away after a few moments.

Then, out of nowhere, something crashed through the ceiling and landed in front of Juno. It was a box, which she immediately opened. She pulled out a game console that had the same Goo Zombies video game on it.

Kimiko sighed as the Xiaolin Dragon King started to play on the device. She was starting to regret teaching her about online shopping.

As Juno was engrossed in playing her game, Omi and Ping-Pong sneaked into the room. As quickly and quietly as possible, they slipped a mat underneath her and the kotatsu without her noticing. Attaching a rope to it, they jumped to the ceiling.

A few moments later, the redhead and the kotatsu were slowly lifted into the air. Halfway up, she realized what was going on and looked around in great surprise. She turned her head up towards the hole that was still in the ceiling, seeing the rest of the rope wrapped around a transformed Dojo, who had Omi and Ping-Pong on his back. Before she could go any further, the redhead grabbed a nearby support beam.

The two short monks saw this and encouraged the dragon to pull harder. He did, but the female warrior held on tightly as they both struggled. Quickly getting an idea, she summoned her Xiaolin Dragon Blade and used it to cut the rope. She dropped back to the floor while the others screamed as they were sent sailing across the sky, going far, far away.

Juno simply went back to playing her game and eating her dango.

The Xiaolin Monks and dragon gathered together and were sitting outside, feeling defeated. Their leader had countered every plan they threw at her and they were now out of ideas. It would seem she would be staying under the kotatsu after all.

Suddenly, a lightbulb turned on above Raimundo's head. He had just thought of a plan that might actually work. Making his friends huddle closely together, he whispered what was on his mind.

Juno was snuggled contently under the blanket of the kotatsu. It was a perfect time for a nap. Just as she was about to drift off to dreamland, she was shocked awake by the sound of sudden screaming. They were screams for help that she instantly recognized as the monks'.

She was about to get up to see what was wrong, but stopped when she thought that it was another trick to get her outside. Not a second later, though, there was a loud roar. The monks screamed loudly again, calling desperately for the redhead.

Juno, now convinced something bad was happening, imagined what was attacking her kids. They could be getting hurt by an evil snow monster, getting cursed by some kind of winter witch, or, worse, getting eaten by a yeti! With those thoughts in her mind, and the terrified screams in her ears, she quickly got out from under the kotatsu and raced outside. After her feet touched the snow, the redhead looked around for any sign of the Xiaolin Monks and the enemy, summoning her weapon to her hand.

Above her, the kids were standing on the roof of the building, completely fine. They had pretended to be in trouble, Dojo and Clay proving the roaring, to lure her out, knowing she would come to help them. Grinning at one another, they all stomped their feet on the roof, causing the large amount of snow that had gathered on it to slide off and head towards the female warrior.

Juno, hearing the snow, turned around and her eyes went wide. Before she could get away, she was covered and buried underneath the white powder. The Shoku Warriors and Ping-Pong jumped down and landed on the snow pile. They laughed and cheered at finally succeeding in getting their leader outside and in the snow.

However, their celebration was short-lived when they felt the snow underneath them begin to shake. A second later, it exploded and sent them flying across the area. After they landed and recovered, everyone looked and saw the Xiaolin Dragon King standing up and looking at them with a none-too-happy expression. They gulped and let out nervous laughs.

Juno held up her guandao and pointed the blade at them. Dozens and dozens of snowballs rose up around her, soon shooting towards the monks. The group screamed and ran away, getting pelted by the balls of snow as they took cover behind some trees. Deciding to fight back, the Xiaolin Monks made their own snowballs and threw them at their leader.

Snowball after snowball was tossed back and forth by both sides. As the fight waged on, the anger and fear that started it eventually simmered down and it become more out of doing it for fun. After some time, when everyone had calmed down and some apologies were said, they switched to another activity, the Xiaolin Dragon King finally agreeing to stay outside with the monks.

The team made snowmen versions of themselves, which didn't turn out so bad. They skated across the pond in the garden, doing all sorts of tricks and spins. The climb up the hills outside the temple was tiring, but it was worth it as they rode back down on sleighs. Lastly, just as the sun was beginning to set, everyone laid down in the snow in a circle, making snow angels.

The team laughed happily at themselves at all the fun they were having. However, that laughter stopped when Ping-Pong let out a rather loud sneeze.

After changing out of their wet, snow-covered clothes, the Xiaolin Warriors and Dojo were all settled around the kotatsu indoors. They sighed contently as the heat source under the table warmed them up. Everyone ate from the assortment of snacks that were on top of the table, as well as drunk from cups filled with delicious hot chocolate topped with marshmallows. Outside, snow once again began to fall from the night sky.

All in all, it was the perfect end to a perfect snow day.
