A/N: Wow, okay here is a one shot I came up with after reading something out of the book, "the 7 habits of highly effective teen" by Sean Covey, the story was also in readers digest. I made the story longer, fluffier, and about the IY people.
No I do not own Inuyasha or his friends nor do I really own most of this story. Hope you like!
A Paradigm Shift
It was early in the morning at the Las Angeles airport, when a young raven-haired woman, named Kagome, found her self with some spare time to waste before her flight to Tokyo. Deciding to buy a cup of coffee and a small package of her favorite cookies. Stumbling, with her over sized yellow backpack, to an empty table she sat down. She soon started to read one of her favorite novels, sipping on her coffee every so often, when she became strongly aware of a rustling at her table. Looking up from her novel, she was stunned to see a neatly dressed and very handsome young man with long silver hair and two little triangular dog-ears at the top of his head, helping himself to her pack of cookies. Not wanting to lose her temper or cause a huge scene she reached over and took a cookie from the package. Returning to her novel for about a minute she, again, heard the sound of more rustling. He was helping himself to yet another cookie.
Now, they were down to the very last cookie and by this time she was steaming, but still couldn't bring herself to say anything to him, this person this cookie eater. Then, the man with the adorable ears and white hair broke the cookie in two. Sliding one half across the table towards her, then eating his half before leaving the table.
Some time later, Kagome needed to go to her terminal and present her ticket, still dumbfounded by the handsome man. Opening her yellow pack to retrieve her ticket she was suddenly assaulted with her package of cookies. Embarrassingly enough she had apparently been eating his. Turning red at the realization she stepped onto the plain to take her seat.
Placing her bag in the overhead compartment, she took the seat closest to the window. After a few seconds she felt somebody sit next to her. Glancing over her shoulder, she was greeted by long silver hair and triangular appendages. It was the same man that was at her table. Turning a candy apple red again, she mustered all the courage she could and pulled out her package of cookies. Turning to him she tapped him on the shoulder. When he turned, he smiled at her. Sucking in a deep breath she forcibly pushed the hand that held the cookies towards him and said, "cookie?"
