It's cold. It's New York in February and there are very few things for them to do before they have to fly out for the next set of tapings. Zack hums. Rubs circles in Dolph's back while he reads some book that Zack hadn't bothered looking at the title of for longer than a couple of seconds. At least they're keeping warm, in bed, with the heat running, the noise of it kicking on and off every now and again a constant comforting lull in the silence. "Hey, bro?" Zack asks, leaning in to kiss the middle of Dolph's spine, gain his attention back from the words sprawled across the pages a few inches from his nose.

"Yeah, kid?" he mumbles, sounding lost in whatever he's reading.

Zack almost feels bad for distracting him, but continues to kiss up his back until he's resting next to his face, tilting his head to press a kiss to the side of Dolph's mouth. "I've been thinking."

Dolph somehow notices the seriousness in Zack's voice because he finally looks up from his book, takes one look at Zack's face and locates his bookmark in the sheets, placing it between the pages and shutting it soundly before sitting up to face Zack properly. "About what, kid?"

"I've been thinking about what I can do to get my career back on track after my injury." He exhales gustily. "I, uh. I sort of think I need to move to Florida, bro."

Dolph blinks. "Huh?"

Zack smiles a little at his confusion. "I mean, I haven't full on decided yet, but uh. You know, everyone is down there, and the performance center, and NXT is like this huge land of opportunity right now, and I just... think maybe... if I prove how dedicated I am to the business and everything, they'll finally... see... and give me a chance... revitalize my career. Make things better."

Dolph stares at him. Slumps forward a little. "Geez, kid, and I just bought a summer house here and everything."

Zack barks out an almost sad laugh, leaning forward to cup his face. "We can get a house in Florida, if you want. And you can keep the house up here, we'll, uh. We'll use it to stay in whenever we come back to visit my family or just spend some time in New York again. I just really feel like I need to do something big, or this... I might not have a job by this time next year, bro. You know? Does that make any sense?"

Dolph smiles at him. "Well, hell, I'm already announced to the ring as being from Hollywood Florida, might as well make it reality, huh, kid?"

Zack's eyes gleam warmly as he leans in to kiss Dolph in relief. "Thanks for accepting this so easily, bro. I know I'm still just thinking about it, but if you had been more against the idea, I would've understood. It is a big change, especially at this stage in our relationship and everything..." He leans against Dolph for a minute, staring at his ring. "But I think Florida could be good for us both."

"I think so too," Dolph murmurs, tilting Zack's face up and kissing him. "Anything that could make you happy, kid, 'll make me happy." Zack grins up at him and Dolph winks. "Now, can we talk about this later so I can finish reading? And you can go back to giving me that massage."

Zack laughs but nods, settling back down next to Dolph in their cocoon of warmth as he finds his place in the book again, Zack's fingers returning to his spine, and they resume their snowy day activities.
