"Hey, bro, what's this about?" Zack asks, looking up from his phone and finding Dolph lost in one of his many books. He sighs, not surprised at being ignored again. "Bro? Bro. Hey, bro."
Still no response. Zack rolls his eyes and flops off of the couch, getting to his feet and heading over to the chair Dolph is sprawled out in, legs hanging over the arms in a way that shouldn't be comfortable but somehow is anyway. "Bro," Zack says once he's closer, but Dolph still doesn't respond, so lost in the words on the page that he probably wouldn't respond if the fire alarm went off right now.
Grimacing at the thought, Zack leans in and pinches Dolph, sending him yelping off of the chair. "Kid! What the hell?!" he demands, frowning up at Zack as he smoothly collects the book from where it went flying onto one of the tables, knocking over a mess of things scattered around.
"I've been trying to talk to you for like ten minutes, bro," Zack tells him, hands on his hips while he presses the book against his side, keeping it from Dolph's hungry gaze. "Listen to me and you can have this back until supper, alright?"
He scoffs. Squirms until he's sitting more comfortably, gaze locked on the book held in Zack's hand. "Fine, what do you want, kid?" Zack dangles his cell phone in front of Dolph, who stares at the tweets stretching across the screen. "Seriously?" He sighs hard. "I- it was my gum. God, these guys always do this. Smallest bit of spit leaves my mouth after I get punched and they immediately jump on twitter, Ooh there goes another tooth, he's going to need dentures at this rate!"
Zack freezes during the rant, then barks out a laugh. "Seriously, bro? Maybe you should stop with the gum, then. They wouldn't have a reason to tweet then." Dolph looks far from impressed at the suggestion and Zack laughs at him some more. "Alright, bro. I know how you are about your gum... Forget I said anything." He stares down at Dolph's book, aware that once he hands it back, Dolph will go back to not hearing a damn thing he says. "Well, maybe I should just make sure for myself that all of these people's fears really are unfounded..." He grips Dolph by the collar, guiding him into a more proper sitting position before kissing him, humming slightly as he teases at Dolph's mouth with his tongue.
Dolph exhales into Zack's mouth, parting his lips as Zack's fingers trail through his hair and allowing him to lick in lazily, exploring a bit before pulling back with a small laugh, pressing his forehead to Dolph's. "Yeah, I guess you do still have all of your teeth," he says quietly, flushed and grinning boyishly down at him. "You can have your book back now."
Dolph stares at the book for barely a second before rolling his eyes, tossing it over his shoulder and grabbing Zack before he can get too far away. "Forget the book, you missed a spot, kid."
