"Ugh," Dolph grimaces, tossing aside his phone and glaring at Zack. "You just had to buy a large pizza, didn't you?"
Zack smirks. Picks at some more pepperoni, chewing noisilly on the gooey cheese. "You said you were hungry, bro."
"Bah." Dolph pats his stomach and rolls over, making a face as he presses into the pillows. "I swear, if people start calling me Tinman now that you have on Twitter, I will never forgive you."
Zack laughs at him. "It's not the first time I've called you that on there, bro," he says, leaning over to kiss Dolph on the shoulder. Dolph swats at him but relaxes into the warmth as Zack noses against his jaw and kisses up to his mouth, nipping at his lips. "C'mon, you know you're not really mad at me," he says with a small smile, not that surprised when Dolph grips the back of his head and kisses him back, tasting the savory mix of the pizza on his lips and tongue. "See?"
"Shut up," Dolph mumbles. "Besides, when else did you call me tinman?"
Zack thinks it over as Dolph kisses him some more, the pizza cooling next to them. "I think... I dunno, it's been a few years," he hums, shrugging. "Besides it's kind of a compliment. You can eat whatever you want and still look as hot as ever, bro," he says, tracing fingers down Dolph's abs and making him tremble.
"Such a charmer, kid," he exhales roughly, reaching up to shift Zack closer and press their foreheads together, searching his eyes. "Any particular reason you're spoiling me with all of my favorite foods this week anyway?"
Zack hums. Kisses him. "Not really. Just, I guess, want to make sure you have plenty of energy for your match against Sheamus Sunday..." He sprawls his hand out over Dolph's ribs and grins. "Besides, it's still our honeymoon, kind of, and even though we couldn't actually go anywhere, I'm doing what I can to make it special. You know?"
Dolph smirks affectionately at him, tilting his head and kissing him warmly. "Yeah. I know it, kid." He laughs when Zack rolls his eyes, reaching over to grab another piece of pizza, offering it to him. "You really are trying to make me fat," he sighs, feigning his exasperation as he bites into it.
"Nah," Zack says, biting into the slice as well before offering Dolph another bite. "Just don't want it to go to waste, bro. You can do empty stomach cardio some other time."
Dolph's lips twitch up smugly. "Pretty sure I'm going to get cardio one way or another tonight, kid," he says, gripping Zack's hip and tugging him closer, biting into the pizza and leaving just enough behind for Zack to take the last bite. "As you said, it is our honeymoon still."
"Oh, probably," Zack laughs, his face flushing softly in the faint lamp light of their hotel room, leaning into Dolph's touch. There are a lot of things looming before them- Dolph's match against Sheamus, Zack's further attempts to get back on TV in a more significant role, and on and on, but for this moment, they forget all of that, deciding to focus on themselves, the near giddiness they share when they feel the coolness of their wedding bands against each other's skin.
