The Labyrinth and it's characters do not belong to me. (Must this be said on every chapter.) I would love to have owned them, and maybe Jareth. Ok Especially Jareth. In this chapter, Sarah will face her greatest fear, a blind date by her best friend Will she notice something strange about her date? Time will tell. Read and review. Thank you.

As Sarah pulled in the driveway, her cellphone rang for the twelfth time. She had several more missed calls, voicemail, text, and other notifications all from Jasmine. "Hello." Sarah said in a sing song voice. "Where have you been?" Jasmine yelled into the phone. Sarah opened the front door, phone in hand. " I take it you are excited about tonight. Even though it's only 9:00, and we never get to a club before eleven in our life." Jasmine scoffed. "Yes. I am very excited. Tonight you officially get to meet my boyfriend. And you know that is a very big step for me." Sarah sighed as she began to undress, preparing to get ready for the night. "For a while, I thought you had make him up. Still do."

She shifted her phone from on bear to the other. "Well, you will meet him tonight. And you will have the privilege of meeting his cousin Robin. Robin Goodfellow 35, single, and very well off. Lucious is calling on the other end. Don't be late." With that she hung up. Sarah stared at herself in the vanity. With a last look, she decided to get the show on the road.

Jareth...next mid-day at the castle

Jareth had eventually fell asleep, though he was rudely awoken right before mid day by his irritating brother and equally irritating cousin. "Wakey! Wakey!" His brother said from a safe distance. "I've bogged others for less. Walk away, Loki, and no one will get hurt." His cousin snickered, and grabbed a peach off of Jareth's fruit bowl. "Same goes for you Puck, if you value your life." Loki sat at the edge of Jareth's bed, as Puck threw him the peach. Jareth sighed, and conceded defeat. He walked to the wash basin, and began to wash his face. "Ready for today's festivities already boys?"

Loki smile at his brother. "Why yes. We are about to embark on our dates. Good thing you decided not to go. It's not really your environment." Puck for once remained quiet. Jareth began pouring himself a drink. "What you two do is not my concern. Just don't come crawling to me when you two get in trouble." The two stood up, Puck grabbing a handful of grapes on his way out. Jareth just stood in silence, soon there was a knock on the door. A maid entered the room bringing Jareth a plate for him to break his fast, curtseyed and left.

Sara walked into the club fifteen after eleven, this place was known to stay open until five a.m. This was the place they frequented, her and Jasmine. She was friends with the owners, and even some of the bouncers. If she really wanted, she could probably sneak Toby. Twerp. Can't believe he sold me out. But that is how men are, of all species. Be my slave my ass. Sarah tried to get her head out of the clouds, and enjoy her evening. She went straight to the VIP lounge where she agreed to meet Jasmine. As soon as she walked up to the red rope, she saw her friend and a blond haired man around 5'10 or 5'11. He was hugging her tightly. She noticed his feral smile and sharp pointed canine as he smiled and laughed.

Next to him was a man, drink in hand, about the same height. He could almost pass for Daniel Henney. Her friend, indeed had not let her down. Though she did find it hard to believe that these to were cousins, until she saw him share the same smile. Before she could put more thought into it, Jasmine came running up to her, pulling her by her hands. "My lovely Sarah! Fashionably late as always! I was just reassuring Mr. Goodfellow here that you would not let us down."

The two men walked towards her, each taking their turn to introduce themselves. Robin took Sarah by her hand, turning it over and placing a delicate kiss on her inner wrist. She felt her pulse skip a beat, and saw Robin's smile widen. Lucious took her hand as well, kissing the back of her hand. Sarah took note, and filed the information for later. " Jasmine gave a weak description, you are everything more than I expected. It is unusual for me to be amazed, yet here I am. Shocked and amazed." Sarah smiled. "I hope you don't expect to much of me tonight. It would all be down hill from here." They all laughed, and took seats again in the lounge. "A drink perhaps?" Robin asked. "Sure." She said. "Would I offend you much if I just stuck with beer. I have never felt comfortable taking unopened drinks, let's just say I had a bad experience once." He nodded and smiled. "Not at all. Order what you wish." Jasmine kept staring at them both, while Lucious kept quiet. "So. This is the famous boyfriend." Sarah said. "Yes. And you are the infamous Sarah." He smiled at her, causing her to feel skitsh.

Jasmine took a sip of her drink. "Well. We will leave you two alone. We are going to dance." Sarah and Robin sat quietly when Sarah decided to take charge of the conversation. "So. How did your cousin convince you to a blind date?" A smile crepy to his face. "Wow! Straight to the hard questions. To be honest, he just asked. I believe he wanted to take her out for a bit of fun, and introduce him to a family member at the same time. Jasmine insisted I meet you. So, how did she convince you? Blackmail?" He teased, with a twinkle in his eyes. Sarah pretended to think, taking her time to answer, sipping on her drink. "Part asking, part begging, a few favors owed, and emotional sabotage." She leaned in closer to him, as he took a sip of his drink. "Plus a few pictures she has in her possession that could possibly incriminate me." He turned his head, as he spat his drink out, and began coughing violently.

Sarah laughed, and handed him a napkin. "Just joking." He nodded, blushing slightly. " I don't owe her any favors." Robin smile, finally able to compose himself. "Do you like games, Sarah?" He asked her, never taking his eyes off of her. "That depends " She replied in a semi-serious manner. "On?" He asked. His face getting closer to her, as a smile crept upon her face. "If the prize is worth the loss." He was liking her more and more already. "Why must there be a loss, if there should only be gain?" Robin asked. "Because, even if you win, it will always be at a loss." "And here I thought my night would be boring."

There you have it. This chapter was fun for me. Sarah's night isn't over, so don't get bored on me.

Guest 2021: Thank you for your kind reviews. I am glad that the reading is going much smoother. And yes poor Sarah, but as we see with this chapter, Jareth suffers as well. I too, hate when that happens. As for Toby, he is based on two of my younger brothers. There is also an age between us, around the same as Sarah and Toby. And they would both sell me out if the price was right, and neither would be too ashamed. Interesting you ask who the owl might be. No comment as of yet, you will have to wait and see.
