The Labyrinth and it's characters do not belong to me. Jim Henson was a brilliant man. I had seen the movie, and was very shocked to see Bowie singing with so much talent, Chaka Khan Luther Vandros, and Cissy Houston. Amazing.

At one fifty A.M the house was quiet, too quiet. Not a peep, which surprised Sarah. She walked to her bathroom, and began the process of washing her make-up off. She was tired, but not so much to go to bed yet. Her date with Rob had gone better than expected. They had exchanged numbers, and he said he would call to set up a date. Once Sarah's faced was washed and she had changed into her PJs, she thought a drink was in order. On her vanity, was the remaining wine that Hoggle had given her for her. She called the only one she could think of. "Hoggle. Hoggle. Are you awake?" She asked. Even though she had drank earlier, it had no effect on her. She didn't even aquire a buzz, more so she just had something to hold.

Hoggle finally answered. "You called?" He asked. "Hey. Want to join me for a drink. We didn't finish the wine you brought." Hoggle's eyes had turned wide, eyeing the bottle like a man lost at sea and the bottle she had would be his salvation. "Well. If you want to share .." He said. "SHARE! LADY SHARE!" Sarah turned quickly around as five goblins jumped from under her bed. "Hello Lady!" Said one. "Lady still look good for being more years than toe." Said another as he winked at her. Hoggle just sighed. "Goblins." He replied. Another asked Sarah how old she was. One replied."Too old to keep, too ugly to turn." With that the five laughed and ran down the stairs.

Sarah shook her head, looking back at Hoggle she just shrugged her shoulders. She saw Sir Didymus and Ludo appear next to him. They both looked at her hopefully. "Come one guys, before they eat me out of house and home. There are still left overs. "Lady!" One goblin yelled. "Where is your cat?" Sarah laughed and ran to the kitchen quickly, hoping it was not too late.

Underground

The High Queen's birthday was always a weeklong event. Jareth never stayed as long, but with things being what they were, he had to stay. There were rumors of a war brewing, whispers of the high King no longer fit to rule. The high King took the threat in strides, but not Jareth nor his brother. Unfortunately, neither of them were enough to show a United front. More allies would be needed. He sighed as he had seen his brother and cousin walking toward him. "Brother, why the long face? And where is your...?"

Jareth frowned. "She will arrive shortly. How was your...date?" He asked, with a look of disdain. "Marvelous. Better than I expected. At least for our dear cousin." Puck remained quiet, with a guilty smile on his lips. "It is a good thing that you did not join us, cousin " Puck finally said. "I don't think the company or the environment would have been to your liking."

Jareth pretended to ignore him, looking around. "Unlike you, cousin, I find the women above to be rather challenging and intriguing. I dare say, I like a woman with a brain, unlike some fae women you consort yourself with." Puck said with a smile. "The fae women you tend to keep in your company are much like your goblins, always drunk, boring, empty headed, but smell better. Wouldn't you say cousin?"

At that exact moment Lady Leahnor decided to make her appearance, putting her arms around Jareth. "I see you have come to rescue you me. "Jareth said, still not smiling. "She looked at him and smiled. "Of course." Jareth took her arms from around him and led her to the dance floor. Loki and Puck stood in place, smiles gone from their face. "I do hope he knows what he is doing." Loki said quietly. "It is a dangerous game he plays."

They both looked each other in the eyes. " Even though I had no previous knowledge that I would be set up on a blind date with the Labyrinth's champion, there is no regret. He had his chance." Puck said. "If he has not made a move, maybe it is time someone did." Loki took a quick step toward Puck, and grabbed him by the collar with both hands. "Don't take my aloofness as no love for my family. You maybe my cousin, a very dear one at that. Just remember, he is my brother, and therefore my loyalty will always remain with him. You do not want to challenge me...Puck." With that, he pushed him off and walked away.

There you have it. A short chapter, but very emotional. Especially the ending. Thank you all who are reading. Even though I do have other stories that sorely need updating, I can't seem to walk away from this one yet.

Mr.MeowMeow: There you have it. More per your request.

Guest 2021: Sorry to disappoint. There were no mention of the games in this chapter, but I will be mentioning them in a later chapter. You will have to wait.

Margot Grazyna: Always a pleasure to hear from you. Sarah has been very busy, but not because she has looked for this. She is Innocent. I am glad you are fiding my story unpredictable, as it will start to make sense in later chapters, I hope. You maybe right about the sharp toothed stranger. And yes, the goblin King is not too far away, I can't wait for that meeting between them as well.
