The Labyrinth and it's characters do not belong to me. The story is written for pure enjoyment and no monetary funds are being exchanged. Not even for brownie money. Sad, but true.

UNDERGROUND...

The party was ending for the night, guest beginning to leave. Jareth grabbed Lady Leahnor by the arm, and took her aside. He slipped his hand behind her neck, taking a step closer to her. "Wait for me in my Chambers, I must say goodnight to the high King and queen. Rules are rules." He said with a sigh. " Of course. I will be waiting. " Lady Leahnor said, before walking away. Jareth stood there in place, watching her walk away. He frowned as he saw her stop, speaking to someone hidden in the shadows behind a pillar. Finally, her saw her move on.

When Jareth entered his room, having taken the long way. Maybe his brother and cousin were right, he thought. Maybe a small reprieve to the above would help him clear his head. He opened the door to him quarters, quietly, watching Lady Leahnor with her back towards him. She appeared to be looking around for something. Finally, he cleared his throat. "Sorry my dear, but my cousin and brother would not let me leave." She turned, blushing. "I thought you were to bid a good night to the majesties." He walked up to a desk, and poured himself a drink. Taking a sip, he cocked one eyebrow up. "Those two ambushed me, regailing of the night with mortals. Something about going back soon, and insisting I join them."

Lady Leahnor pouted, slipping off her dress. "Perhaps I can convince you from allowing those two to drag you away." She smiled sheepishly at him. "I see you healed the love bites I left you. Perhaps they need be reapplied. You seemed to enjoy it the last time." Jareth sat his drink down, smiling, and walked up to her. " I couldn't think of a better way to pass the time. Do see if you can pursuade me, dear." She stepped closer to him, kissing his jaw with light pecks. "It's about time that your fascination with the above has ended." She purred. "Fascination?" He asked. "Yes. Years of constantly going up leaving me alone here for days on end."

His jaw tightened. He grabbed her by the jaw, and gave her a feral smile as he felt her shiver next to him. "Well, you know it is my duty to be knowledgeable in all things above. Besides, you never complained about the many trinkets I have brought you." Lady Leahnor took a step back, as she composed herself. She smiled at him. "Of course not. Your gifts are wonderful." Lady Leahnor reached for his hand. "Come. The night will end quickly. Let's enjoy it while we can."

SARAH'S DREAM(or is it?)

Sarah passed out. She had never consumed do much underground liquid courage ever. Not even when Hoggle brought her the bottle as a gift on the seventh anniversary of there run. Now, she slept and soon began to dream. Sarah found herself walking down a unfamiliar corridor. Strangely, she was in her pijamas, and barefoot as she could feel the cold flooring. "Where am I?" She asked herself. Nothing really stood out, torches lighting the hall, and a few doors along the way. Up ahead, she saw a door opened, and the lighting from a fire dancing in the hall. Sarah heard someone rustling about the room, and began to tip toe to the entrance.

The first thing Sarah saw were scrolls on a desk in disarray, a very familiar bottle, and a half filled glass next to it. "My. My. What do we have here." Sarah's eyes darted to the left of the room, where a half naked Goblin King stood. Her eye began to trail from his boots all the way up his marked abdomen, chest and neck. She felt herself flushing all over as she finally met his eyes." I could say the same."

Sarah walked into the room, looking very confused. She paced around the room lightly touching the books on the shelves and everything in between. "Am I dreaming? Maybe I died." She stopped in front of his desk, where he now stood straight across from her. She looked into Jareth's eyes, the 'man' she hadn't seen in fifteen years. "That's it. I died, and this is my own personal hell." A smirk grew on Jareth's face. "No, Sarah. You are not dead, nor is this really a dream, but you will wish it is once you awaken." She tilted her head at him, biting her bottom lip. "So the question is, how are you here?"

Sarah wasn't paying attention, she walked around the desk, and began poking him hard. "Ow!" He yelled. "Would you cease and desist." Sarah smirked. "You feel real enough." She began sniffing his hair, and began sneezing hysterically." Damn glitter. Well, you smell real." She hopped up on top of the desk as he stood between her legs. He took a step closer, bridging the small gap. His chin was touching the top of her head. Sarah saw the bite marks, the indentions of teeth, but chose to ignore them. She slid her hands down his chest. Sarah felt him shiver under her hands and tips of her fingers, as he quietly said her name.

Sarah felt him stiffen, and breath her sent in deep. She put her hands on his hips, and looked behind him. Suddenly, she pushed him hard, and he landed very ungracefully into his chair. "Never have been afraid of me, have you precious." He winced, adjusting himself in the chair.

Sarah began to laugh. "Ok Gollum." She sighed. "Well, that didn't work as planned. Next time I drink, no more Hobbit movies. Or no more from your...wait a minute." She jumped up quickly, moving back tripping on dropped scrolls. "I really am here?" Jareth crossed his arms behind his head, legs propped where she sat a moment ago. "Do continue." He said. "What did you drink? Sarah?"

She took a step back, looking very much like a dear caught in head lights. "I have to wake up. There's no place like home."She muttered. "There's no place like home." Jareth stood and took a step towards her. "Been in my things, Sarah?"

Jareth twisted his hand, forming a crystal ball. A vicious smile slid across his face, like the Cheshire cat waiting it's prey. He began playing with it, tossing it up and catching it. "It is a dream, of sorts. Yours actually." Sarah began to stand up straight, and scoffed. "Poor lonely Sarah. All grown up, single without an ounce of companionship. Spends her 30th-30th right? Drinking with goblins dwarves, and such." Sarah could feel the anger burning within her, but kept staring at the crystal.

"You seem to have enough companionship for the both of us" She manager to say, in a calm even tone. She quickly eyed his chest and abdomen. Jareth's jaw tightened, and glanced quickly away. She would have guessed shame, but knew he had none. They were both silent for a moment. Anger quickly appeared and his face transformed into Elking. He began tossing up the crystal ball much more quicker. "I do pity the pain you will feel, once you awaken." Sarah saw his intention, as he caught the ball in his hand. He looked like a baseball pitcher about to throw the ball. Sarah herself quickly twisted her had, and formed a crystal herself. For added measure she did a double twist with her left hand and added extra force as she threw her crystal. The two crystals collided, and an explosion could be heard throughout the castle.

As Sarah felt herself disappear, she saw a shocked look on the Erlking's face. All she could think was Sarah. You've got a lot of explaining to do.

So. How was that. Were any of you surprised about the ending. I just hope I captured it as I had it in my mind. Tell me you love it. Tell me you hate it. I hope you enjoyed, and thank you for your time.
