I DO NOT OWN THE LABYRINTH NOR DO I OWN IT'S CHARACTERS. My two chapters, I did a little editing. I hope that helps. This next chapter will hopefully answer some questions. Thank you all for reading and the reviews.

Also, I am attempting to set up many back stories for a possible sequel.

Sometimes the way forward, is the way back. Isn't that what that daft old man with the birdbrain said? Well, this road was certainly leading to certain doom. Hoggle just hoped it would be quick. Ludo was with him, of course. And despite his size, he could very quiet when he wanted.

He was there when Jareth made the decision to find the Unseelie Queen He knew who he took, and what path they would go. Hoggle even helped, being that he knew the way there more than he ever dared anyone know. What no one knew, the dwarf fell in love with a queen. And she despised him for it.

Queen Tatiana had sent a small search party, with him in charge. She ordered him to scout a different route, and to see if he found any trace of Jareth or his party. It wasn't safe for him, but for Sarah he would be brave. Besides, she didn't need to know he vomited when the queen ordered him on this mission.

The road they were on was more twisted that the labyrinth itself, and twice a dangerous. The sunlight barely penetrated the clouds, the misty path hiding shadows around each corner. They had been walking half a day in the unseelie woods. There was a path dead in the center, if you knew where to look. Hoggle knew it was the path often used, so he stayed off it. He stayed close, but didn't dare walk on it just yet.

Neither were left defenseless. Hoggle had his survival instinct, plus his trust bag of jewels. Ludo took a few "friends" of his, small harmless looking gravel like rocks. Hoggle turned every so often, reassuring himself Ludo was still walking behind him.

Ludo walked slowly behind Hoggle, a soft grumble here and there emitted softly from his throat. It wasn't enough to be noticable, but the him of the ground and the relayed him much needed information. The rocks talked to him, let him know what was further up ahead. The rocks let him know there was danger.

Hoggle felt the shift in the atmosphere, he sniffed the air, and took a few steps back. Hoggle looked around quickly, he knew he couldn't be too far from his destination. It had been so long since he had passed through here, maybe his calculations were off. He heard the group he had spotted coming towards him. If he could only find the gnarled tree he knew he could continue being unobserved. Today he would not be killed by redcaps nor those murderous trolls.

Hoggle grabbled Ludo by the hand, and ran in the opposite direction, closer to the main road. He heard shouting, but didn't dare stop. He didn't dare look back. The closer he got, the more he recognized where he was at. "There!" Hoggle said to Ludo, winded from his run. Ludo picked up his brother, and ran to the mighty oak tree, that could easily hide Ludo twice over. Hoggle grabbed a green jewel from his pouch, and threw it on the ground behind the tree. "Ludo jump?" Ludo asked. "Do it you big oaf! They're gaining on us!" Hoggle yelled back.

The entrance they fell into would led to a tunnel. Great. I's love tunnels. Hoggle thought. The tunnel would double their travel time, but they had no choice. He had his orders, find Jareth and see if he was still alive. "Hoggle tired. Ludo tired." Hoggle stopped and turned around to see his companion. He had to admit he was tired. "Just hold on a little big guy. We'll stop up ahead, where's it's safer." Ludo nodded, grumbling in agreement.

QUEEN TATIANA'S CASTLE

Tatiana sat at a small table across from Sarah and Stephen. Sarah could feel the cold hard stare of the queen. She wasn't sure if it was because Stephen was there, or if it was just Stephen. Tatiana took a sip of her tea, remaining silent. Sarah would not break and speak first. She just hoped that Stephen would follow suite, but by the way he was squirming she had doubts. Stephen was shifting in his chair, and began coughing uncomfortably.

"So...um, you're queen Tatiana? Like Shakespeare?" He said with a scoff. "That brainless twit, made me look like an idiot. He was just being petty that I would not leave with him." This got a reaction out of Sarah who spat out her tea. Tatiana's servant ran up to her, cleaning her face as fast as she could. "Sorry. It was an accident." Sarah said, wiping her own mouth. "Look, I know bringing Stephen was not the best thing to do, but he is here."

Tatiana swiped her servants hand away in fury. "You may be the Goblin Queen in title only, but Jareth is my son! And here you are, bringing THIS...human," she added in disgust. "Into our realm! There are laws! This is forbidden!" The queen stood up abruptly, and began pacing. She began speaking a language that Sarah had only begun to learn. And the words she understood she felt insulted. "It's too late now. He's here. Get over it." Sarah stood, never wavering. She took a deep breath, holding it for a moment and released it slowly.

"I know you are worried about Jareth and Lucious. I will do everything I can to bring them back. All of them." Tatiana nodded, taking a quick look at them both. She went up to a wall, waving her hand. A door appeared, a plain simple wooden door. Tatiana opened the door and walked straight into the room. Sarah followed with Stephen hurrying behind. Ten feet away on a bed was an injured man who not too long ago promised himself to her.

Puck layed on the bed, being attended by a fae woman with two goblins assisting. The fae woman was redressing his wounds, arguing with the two goblins as she did. "This is Cara," Tatiana began. "She has been treating our dear Puck from his injuries. They are quite extensive." The two goblins looked up from their bickering, and ran to Sarah. Cara looked up, quickly curtseying to them both. "Majesties." She said. The two just nodded in return.

Sarah knelt down opening her arms to them both. "Hey! I have missed you both! I haven't seen you since my birthday!" She felt Stephen stiffen behind her. "Tik! Roach! This is my friend. Stephen. Be nice, ok?" They both looked at Sarah and then to Stephen. Stephen jumped back a step. "Don't show fear." Sarah said. "Now. What is wrong with Puck?" She asked the two, as the two goblins growled at Stephen.

Sarah took them both by their hand, and walked towards Puck. Tatiana was already at her side looking him over, speaking quickly to Cara. Cara nodded, bowing quickly and left. "Sarah. It's time for your next lesson, healing." Sarah's smile faded. "Tell me how to begin." Sarah looked down at Puck, his face and body badly bruised. Before Sarah layed the man who had promised himself to her. He had what appeared to be a stab wound, and small burnt patches of skin. "Your power translates into crystals, manifests as crystal balls like Jareth's. Let me show you, healing isn't so much my gift, but if you are anything like Jareth.." She left it at that.

Sarah nodded. "But, that does not mean that I don't have any skills. Observe." Tatiana waved her hands in intricate patterns, inhaling and exhaling as she did. Her hands started slowly glowing. Her fingers began gliding over his arms, a dark misty air began seeping through his pours. The skin began to clear up slowly, bruises began fading, but parts of Tatiana's began to darken. Tatiana began to slowly remove her hands once the glowing ended, shaking slightly. "Are you ok?" Sarah asked, leading her to a nearby chair. "Like I said, not my gift. The healing comes from me. My energy. Jareth's power and yours come from the labyrinth itelf. Never forget that."

Sarah began to concentrate, making the motions she had learned to form crystal. So far she had b en able to creat two with each hand. She rolled the crystal balls i each hand, just like Jareth had without as much flare. They glowed, slowly becoing brighter. Sh flipped her hands over, roaming them over his body. His wounds began to heal. The darker bruises began to fade, turning yellow while the lighter ones began to fade completely. His stab wound started closing and healing almost entirely.

The crystal popped loudly in her hands, and shattered into glitter. Stephen barely caught her as she fainted. Puck on the other hand gasped for air as his body shot up. He turned to his left, and seen Sarah passed out in another man's arms.
