Chapter 1: Meeting the Genie
Danny Fenton started at the town he lived in now on the rooftop. He was still in disbelief at everything that had happened to him on that day. It was a miracle that he is still alive and he would laugh about it from time to time.
He was thankful that his best friend Sam and his parents were there for him during that disaster.
Flashback, A few months ago….
Danny brought his best friend over, Sam Manson, to see his parents' newest invention, the Fenton Ghost Portal.
The portal was a large circular structure with a small hallway. "Wow Danny, your parents made all this?"
"Well….kind of. You see, my parents and a guy known as Vlad put it together. They had some hiccups on the way and well….they had a hard time trying to deal with it."
She stared at it for a while, until she had a sly smirk. "Dare you to go inside of there."
"What? Why?!" He looked at her in disbelief.
"Oh come on, it will be fun~"
He thought it was silly. He shrugged "Alright, alright."
She watched him head to a room. He came out, wearing a unique white hazmat suit, he walked right into the so-called portal hallway. He walked until he reached the end of the portal hallway. At first, he couldn't see a thing and used the wall to help guide him, but at the same time, his hand brushed against something, causing his world to become nothing but pain.
The last thing he heard from a distance was his name called "Danny!"
Blinding white-hot pain, the young teen couldn't even describe this feeling. He felt being touched every inch, every cell of his body of nothing but coldness and pain. For what felt like an hour the pain came to a stop, yet the coldness was still there.
The 14-year-old, who looked different than before, then stumbled out of the portal in complete pain. His body had smoked before he fell into Sam's arms, who was sobbing for her best friend.
The young Goth was able to get him up to his room before anyone noticed. Fortunately, it would only take a few hours until the pain was gone. A white ring shot across Danny's body, making him look like his old self.
"I see he became like us earlier than we expected."
Sam and Danny turned to see his parents, having a solemn look.
"What do you mean?"
Both parents looked at each other and nodded. Maddie closed her eyes and a familiar white ring appeared and her red hair went blue, her suit dark, and her eyes a more vibrant purple.
While his father, Jack, his hair went all white as snow and his blue eyes glowed more.
"W-what the?!"
"We are Half ghosts, thanks to the machine."
"We assumed it would have affected our children, that is why Jasmine transformed when she was 14 but girls mature faster than boys so you shouldn't have transformed till your 16th birthday. Maybe it might have been accelerated because the machine did that."
After Danny woke up and learned the truth about his parents, along with his new abilities, it got him surprised about being some sort of hero of sorts.
The second part, which became something they didn't expect, was how the portal was now active. When the young teen was walking inside the portal his hand brushed up against the ON button, the ON button was on the inside of the portal.
"I suppose I have to deal with this now. Great…."
She hugged him and replied, "I will help you out in any way."
His father smiled and said, "Not only her, but we will help you out."
Danny finally felt he found companions that would support him on his problem.
End Flashback
After the incident, Danny has been trying to get a handle on his new powers with his parents and Sam's help. However, his powers seem to be far different than his parents. While his parents are immune from getting hurt from the other ghosts and their powers and having the basic ghost powers that all ghosts have; they also can make all of their ghost equipment stronger when they are in their ghost mode. Strong enough to go after higher-class ghosts.
Although they have classified some ghosts from SS, being the strongest in the group, the rumor of a god-like ghost is still on the air. The weakest are the E rank ghosts which are the squids or animal-like creatures. His parents, and the assistance of Vlad, were able to tag some ghosts, but they are yet to make any sentient human-like ghosts yet. Monstrous once, which involved a large squid-like being was the only SS rank they could find based on how tough it was, and how much Vlad had to pay to keep it silent from various media. Mass panic was the most unnecessary thing needed.
The young ghost in training learned he has other abilities that gave him an edge. His parents were proud of going further than they have. Sam would also notice he is faster than the average person, and he also seems to have moments of his aura glowing. Just those moments. He would also have the ability to sense ghosts, once his breath reaches cold degrees.
On his patrols, he would fight off some basic ghosts and defeat them easily. His parents would jump in, in case it became rough; however, they began to notice their son could take care of himself and would only provide the ghost capture device to capture the escaped ghosts.
Danny was suddenly brought out of his thoughts when he heard a scream in the distance coming from the park. Flying as fast as he could, he made his way to the park. The young teen followed the scream until he reached the wishing fountain and he was surprised at what he saw once there.
Standing a few feet away from the fountain was Dash Baxter, the teenager that torments him at school and puts him down. It wasn't surprising to see him, but it is the state that he is in.
"W-what is g-going o-n-n-n?!" Dash shouted as he stumbled away from the fountain. "Wh-why is it s-s-s-so cold?! I wanted to be c-c-cool, not c-cold!" He stumbled away from the wishing fountain. "That woman….she ran away….damn….."
Once far enough away Danny looked into what was going on.. transforming back to his human form to investigate.
"I wonder who did that to him?" He looked around, investigating who caused him to be frozen."
"My, oh my, I see a good-looking boy here." A feminine voice said behind him. He nearly 'eeped' and his breath began to freeze more.
Whipping his head to the fountain, Danny was stunned by what he saw floating above the fountain. It was a beautiful woman, wearing puffy blue pants and a blue strapless crop top with purple trim on her busty breasts. She had long black hair that reached to her waist and it seemed to go well with her green skin. The white-haired teen was awed by the beautiful ghost woman he saw.
"What's wrong, cat got your tongue?" She had a sly smile.
Danny's cheeks turned red "S-sorry. It's just that, you're the first female ghost I have ever bumped into." He then murmured "A beautiful one."
She saw how shy he was becoming and saw this as her advantage "Hehe. That beautiful looking huh?" She sauntered over as her breasts jiggled, making the young teen gulp.
Danny shook his head and said, "Who are you, and….what have you done to the guy that was here early on?"
The woman gained a mischievous smile. "Oh, you mean fake macho man? How could I put it this way? Let's say his date wasn't as great as he expected, and well….he wished he was cool. And well, I gave him the wish to be cool. Cool as the winter nights."
Danny blinked for a moment and realized what she said "Wait….you granted him a wish?"
The woman smiled as she let her hands glow. "I am Desiree, the wishing ghost." She outstretched her arms, making her bosom jiggle. The white-haired teen's hormones have been going crazy lately.
Sure he found Sam attractive, and even another girl named Paulina. However, this ghost was way ahead of their league.
"You grant the wish of anybody near the fountain? As in hiding there." Danny asked.
Desiree suddenly gained an even more mischievous look on her face. "Oh I do grant them alright, but there is a bit of a catch" She warned with a smile.
Now Danny was curious about this endeavor "What catch?"
"As the old saying goes: Be careful what you wish for."
Danny blinked for a moment, and that is when he was the flashback to a moment of a certain story. "Like the Monkey's Paw."
"Yes. Careful what you wish for, otherwise it might have certain dire consequences."
"Why dire though?"
She began to ponder whether she would tell him about it. Plus, he is a man, but he's nicer though and hasn't attacked yet.
"It's difficult to explain though."
"Try me."
She sighed "Let's say that I used to grant wishes to another man, and he would have made me a happy woman. That is until his wife banished me and cursed me to oblivion. I left and let's say I don't exactly see men in a good way."
He blinked and pointed this out "You mean it should be women. From what I heard, shouldn't you realize it was a woman that did that, instead of the man?"
She blinked for a moment and began to laugh at herself. Few tears were coming out and said "Hahaha….you're correct. Heh….I feel pretty stupid."
"I think all your blindness is blaming the Sultan more than the wife."
"Right, well anyway who are you exactly? And how are you not freaked out about this?"
He smirked and transformed. Replaced with white hair and green eyes, with a black jumpsuit, the young man still had that smirk.
"What are you?" Desiree asked as she floated closer to him.
The young half replied "I'm a halfa. Part ghost I would say and part human mortal." He shrugged.
She circled him to check him out. She could see a bit of muscle on his stomach and arms, and she liked what she saw. He wasn't over muscular like Dash, he was just perfect in her eyes.
She shook her head and said, "I have never seen someone like you, to be honest."
"Heh…you are right on that end." He looked at her and gave a sad smile.
Desiree gave the young man a sad smile as she looked at him. "Have you faced any ghosts, recently?"'
Before he could answer, a roar was heard, and said "Excuse me." He flew immediately in the direction that wasn't far from where the sound came from. He noticed a few squid ghosts, and one of them had a familiar brown-skinned woman.
"Help me!"
"They got Paulina!" Danny thought.
He flew right at one of them and tackled it hard. He punched it for a bit and knocked the first one out. He went after the second one and avoided a tentacle attack that was heading his way.
While that was going on, the third squid ghost was getting a bit….handsy. "Hey! Don't touch me there, you creep!"
"This is a hot body! After years of rejection, I can finally touch a woman's body!"
He then noticed his comrade was taken out. Now it was just between him and this guy with white hair not far off.
"Hehehe….don't get near, or she will feel my….tentacle." He waved at one of his tentacles.
"Eww, eww, eww!" She felt disgusted and had heard stories of nerds talking about this thing called anime, and what tentacle creatures would do to beautiful women.
He raised his hand and thought "Just as dad told me…..focus." He closed his eyes, felt some energy on his hand, and released it.
This surprised the squid ghost and it was taken out. Paulina went over to hug the white-haired teen.
"Oh thank you, thank you!" She began to kiss all over his face. If he were in his regular form, he would be red as an apple.
"Ummm…it was nothing to miss, but I have started sending them back to their world!" He lowered his voice, to try to disguise it.
"Of course my hero." She kisses his lips and holds them for a short while. Then she leaves him.
He blinked and thought "I hope Sam didn't see that…."
He looked for the ghosts and gathered them together. He then remembered he left his capture ghost device back at home. "Oh great…I wish I could send them back to the ghost zone."
"Your wish is my command."
He saw a portal opening and they were getting sucked in. He felt a bit of a shift of being sucked in until he transformed back to normal. He was more balanced now and then the portal closed. He turned to see the ghost genie with her hands placed back down and a smile on her face. "Thank you so much, Desiree."
"You're welcome…Ummm…"
He chuckled "Danny, Danny Phantom."
She smirked, "Nice name there." She went over and gave a kiss on the cheek. "I do hope to see you around, hero."
She then was gone.
This left Danny staring there and sighed "What a day." Then his communicator went off "Yes mom?"
"There was a ghost activity in your area that just spiked. Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm good. The threat was taken care of. I will head back home now."
"Got it. Dinner is in the fridge, sweetie."
He smiled and flew out of the place.
As he finally reached home and turned into a human he couldn't help but touch his cheek for a second remembering who it was that just placed a kiss there, making him blush a little. Sam was not present so he shouldn't be in any trouble.
He entered the kitchen and the place was cleaner than most hospitals. He knew his mother had more in hand to it, due to her ability to get things done fast and move on to hunting ghosts.
He walked over to the refrigerator and saw that dinner was mostly stewing with a big hash and some vegetables. His mother had prepared his food and it was sitting in the fridge, she even placed a tag with his name on the cover.
He looked at it and saw it was microwave safe so he placed it in the microwave and set it to auto warm. The food took a few minutes to heat up and finally was ready to eat. He placed it on the table and was about to begin eating when he heard his mother clear her voice.
"Well son, mind telling me how your little adventure today went?" He looked at his mother and relaxed for a minute. He assumed he was going to get a lecture about missing dinner time. She did notice something odd about him and ran a scanner on him to find that there was an ecto imprint on his face, lip mark? Did someone kiss her son? This ought to be interesting. And more about the discovery of the first human-like ghost.
He looked at his mother and put down his spoon "Not much to tell, I was training my ghost powers so I went to the park. I went over to the center of the park right where the fountain was, and I figured I would not bother anyone there if I trained there. As I was about to start, I saw my school bully near the fountain. It seemed that he had a bad day himself and made a wish on the fountain and well….it came true but not the way it is expected."
He ate a spoonful of his stew and decided to make sure she understood that before he continued, "As it turns out there was a ghost in that place. It grants wishes, but she essentially had a bad romance and felt like her lover betrayed her. Because of that, when men make a wish, she unintentionally twists the result into not-so-pleasant situations. The bully wanted to be cool so he ended up feeling cold."
He then took a drink and continued "A few ghosts attacked Pauline, and I did my best to rescue her before it escalated into a bigger problem. Thanks to the help of Desiree, the wish-granting ghost, we managed to send the ghost back to where it belongs, and everything pretty much ended there with everyone safe. I even managed to clear up the confusion that Desiree had made her realize; she will be no threat to men since it was the wife of her lover that caused her harm in the first place."
He continued to eat as his mother simply sat on a nearby chair in almost shock. "And all this because you simply were training in using your ghost powers. It appears that you made a friend, and you managed to resolve a situation." She then got a bit serious. "I need to talk with your father about finding a way for you to capture ghosts. That way you, can bring them to be sent to the ghost zone through the portal back home easier ."
She then began to smile a sort of teasing smile Danny had never seen before. "So is what essentially is a genie ghost cute? Cause I ran a scanner on you to see if you were hurt and I found a little mark on your cheek, so is your girlfriend cute? Come on son, spill it, the suspense is killing me!"
The one part he didn't want to talk about. However, he pretty much had no other choice. He ate his dinner while giving his mother a detailed description of Desiree. He spared nothing from giving her a complete and accurate description and the range of her powers, up to the point of the surprise kiss he got in the end.
"On the one hand, I want to lecture you about flirting with women you have never even met before, and how that could lead to all sorts of trouble. On the other hand, I have to admit that she does appear to be a rather sweet person, now that her negative emotional conflict, in other words, her grudge was resolved. That does not excuse however that she is older than you, me, your father put together. So be careful."
Danny simply finished his stew and was eating his fruit salad when he asked himself "Be careful of what? Sam was not present and I am not going to mention it to her."
This made his mother laugh for a second and made her realize he was still a teenager, he didn't have that much experience with older women.
"No secret remains hidden forever. Sam will eventually find out. I have already advised you, to be wary of the type of women who prefer men who are younger than they are. These women are colloquially referred to as 'Cougars'" She gives her quotation in gesture "from the way she kissed you before she left, I think that is a cougar out on the prowl. So don't end up making me a grandma before my time."
This made Danny blush three shades of green and nearly made him choke on his salad. He had to take a big gulp from his juice glass to help him pass it down. "Mom, we just met, for crying out loud that is embarrassing." "Let alone if ghosts can even get pregnant….can they?"
This made his mother decide to simply smile. She told him to be sure to wash everything before he goes to sleep. Danny did as he often did, clean everything he used and placed it in the right place while placing away the dried items on the rack.
He decided to go to his bed and sleep.
He began to dream that Desiree, Pauline, and Sam were arguing about something, and their argument was quite heated. The worst part is that it was happening in his school of all things. The argument had gotten so heated that the other students had left the cafeteria to leave the three of them alone.
Danny couldn't help to feel that somehow, he was the cause of that argument; he had secretly hoped that this dream was just. He had heard of visions, and the results of that happening of it sometimes.
He slept through the rest of the night, but not his parents. His mother spent a few hours explaining to her husband what her son had told her, and he couldn't sleep because he already was thinking of potential Fenton capture tech that his son could use.
He had no problem at all with the fact that a busty green wish-granting female genie had the hots for his son, no problem at all. After all, he married the most beautiful girl he ever met in his life and they even have two children together; much of the initial rivalry between him and Vlad had been due to both of them being interested in the same girl.
Next Day
The family was eating breakfast when his father decided to drop a bombshell of a question while he was eating. His parents sure had the worst timing when asking about these sorts of things, "So when do we meet your ghost genie girlfriend?"
This pretty much made him put his fork down with the bit of cooked food still on it, "So mom told you about her. Why am I not surprised!" He rolled his eyes a bit "We just met, and isn't it a bit early for the whole meet the folks' thing? Never mind that she probably is scared to come anywhere near our home, since she thinks you will send her away for simply being a ghost. In short, near our home, not any time soon."
This made his father think for a little bit, and that gave him a chance to try and finish his breakfast before any more embarrassing questions were asked. "Your mother told me about the problem you had rescuing Pauline from that ghost. I was thinking of ways to make a better capturing device for you to use. At least you are not denying that she is your ghost girlfriend." This made his father laugh.
Danny finished his meal and went to clean everything, but not before telling him "Why would I deny it? She was a girl and she was my friend, so there is no reason to deny it."
As Danny finished cleaning his plate, glass, and utensils, his father and mother let out a sigh and his mother simply said "There is nothing like being young and so clueless is there?" To which his father only replied, "I'm beginning to realize how bad I was at his age."
Walking outside of his door, Danny said "I just did what I thought was right. Plus like I said earlier, she is a good person."
A moment later
Danny runs into Desiree
Desiree decided to ask Danny some questions.
"Danny Phantom, what do you think of ghosts?" Desiree wanted to know what kind of young man he was.
The young teen thought for a moment before answering. "Honestly, I used to think all ghosts were like those Ectopuss, plus that's what Vlad told me how ghosts are." He said, making Desiree frown. "But seeing you do nothing but a prank. Someone makes me think that not all ghosts are bad. So I don't know what to think." Danny said while rubbing his head.
The busty genie had a blank look on her face before smiling, it was an honest answer and he was willing to keep his mind open. "Alright, well you see Phantom, not all ghosts are bad and not all ghosts are good."
"Like people."
Desiree smiled again when she heard him. "Almost like people," She said, getting a confused look from Danny. "You see all ghosts have an obsession, something that drives them and something they love to do. Sometimes, that obsession can take over the ghost's action and nearly make them do whatever it takes to for that obsession."
Danny was listening closely, this was the first real ghost-related information he had not been told by his parents and Vlad and he wasn't going to miss it. "So, some ghosts might do something bad because it's related to their obsession; however, that doesn't mean they're bad?" Danny asked if he got that right.
Desiree nodded with a smile. "Exactly, for instance, your obsession might be fighting for protection. This might be bad for ghosts, whose obsession might cause some mischief or worse. Another example is my obsession. I must grant anyone their desires, such as wishes." She said before a serious look crossed her face. "But not everyone's wishes are good so I must be vigilant when granting wishes, or there will be a price."
Danny started to understand more and more about ghosts just from listening to Desiree. "Well, you can just ignore bad wishes right?" When Danny saw Desiree flinch and look away he got confused. "Right?"
"...I must grant every wish I hear, it is my curse since I became a ghost," Desiree replied as she looked at her hands.
He gave her a sympathetic look. She seemed like a nice ghost, helping him with his problems without anything in return. And she's forced to grant any wish she hears. Then an idea hit his head.
"Wait, I wonder if this will work then." Danny thought, not noticing the betrayed look on Desiree's face. "Desiree, I wish-"
"No-"
"That you can choose which wish you can grant."
Desiree's sentence died in her mouth when she heard those words, suddenly her hands started to glow. "So you have wished it so shall it be." She said in an almost disbelief tone.
As soon as the words left her mouth, she felt the binding of her core was gone.
She was free.
Desiree looked at Danny in disbelief and could only ask only one thing. "Why?"
Danny rubbed his head a bit. "Well….. you seem like a good person and you did help me. I didn't like how your powers we're keeping you from having more freedom. So I decided to help you."
There was a long silence between the two that made the teen fidget a bit. Suddenly, without warning, Desiree grabbed Danny and brought him into a hug.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Desiree shouted as tears ran down her face.
Danny was red all over the face from the hug. It wasn't just the beautiful woman giving him a hug that made him blush, it was the fact his face was right in between her incredibly large breasts. Her busty breasts felt soft and felt a moment of being sunk in deeper.
Suddenly the freed genie pulled Danny up to her level. She gave him a mind-numbing kiss right on the lips. The kiss was so good that Danny accidentally changed to his ghost form, but Desiree didn't stop the kiss. The fact she moaned when she felt the tingly sensation of the change from him.
After about a minute of kissing, Desiree finally pulled back. Poor Danny had a goofy grin and felt nearly weak from the kiss.
"How can I ever repay you?" Desiree asked in joy.
"Oh…" He tried to snap back into it, but the kiss was so different than he imagined "the kiss was enough, more than enough." Danny said in a weak voice, though he still had a goofy smile on his face.
"But there must be something?" Desiree asked as she got closer, which caused Danny to get a great view of her breasts. "I know, I can help you with your powers."
That seemed to get the young teen to look at her eyes. "Help me how?"
"I can give you some advice on how to get a better control of your powers." She offered.
That was something Danny could easily accept, so he agreed to it.
Desiree told him that the best way to get a handle on his powers was to meditate, have a clear mind, and connect with his inner ghost. It will give him a better feel of his powers and have better control.
She also suggested he train his human body. That is done to be able to improve his endurance as a ghost and be able to deal with them even on his human form.
The final piece of advice she gave was to keep training his powers with any free time he had. She mentioned it took her a good long month to change her hands into weapons.
"I appreciate the advice you're giving me," Danny said as he finished writing everything he heard down on his phone.
"I should be the one thanking you, no one has ever shown me kindness before," Desiree replied while giving Danny a big smile.
Danny rubbed his head while blushing. "I just did what I thought was right. Like I said earlier, you're a good person. Just try to make sure your wishes don't get out of hand."
Desiree nodded before giving Danny one last hug, putting his face between her large breasts again. "I'll never forget this, ever."
Danny smiled as he carefully returned the hug.
After a few seconds, they separated, both smiling. "It's time I go," She said as she started to fly away. "I hope we meet again."
With that Desiree started to fly away. Danny sighed as he started to let everything sink in. He learned a lot about ghosts, he helped a ghost, and he learned not all ghosts are bad. He got some great tips for his powers and how to handle things this time around.
But best of all was what Desiree did, which put a smile on his face.
"Man, first I get two kisses from a hot woman, then she put my face between her breasts, twice, and I got some advice on my powers," Danny said as he let a big smile across his face. "Man, I wish I was always as lucky with girls," Danny said to himself before flying off to go to school.
Unknown to him Desiree was still in earshot, thanks to her power of granting wishes she would hear a wish from nearly a mile away. She didn't have to grant Danny's wish, but she decided that she wanted to, as a 'thank you for what he did for her. Another mischievous part of her wanted to make the young man's life a little more interesting.
"So you have wished for it, so shall it be."
With that said Danny never felt any different, but his life was about to become a whole lot more interesting.
To be continued.
(Notes: Oh dear, I am going to take a small break before doing chapter 2. They were a lot of things I had to correct and remove. The reason I removed mentions of humanoid ghosts is that I would feel that Vlad and the Fentons found nothing but Squid ghosts to strong creatures that were long since dead. So I prefer that as the story progresses, we will have more humanoids coming out.
This will cause the Fentons to be more challenged and Danny to push himself to get better. Now, of course, he is still trying to get the hang of it, so I might make it more challenging for him. I will also see if I might throw an idea or two on how he manages to increase his output of power.
For now, though, I had to get rid of part of the ranks. Just an idea on holding out some parts until later, that way the reader won't feel all the information being dumped in one go. Instead, it slowly shows how ranks in ghosts are. Fentons picked up those ranks, based on how tough the ghost they dealt with in power, not in intelligence or anything in that manner.
Lastly, I had to shorten parts of it, because it was repeating itself a lot. That is all I did. That is all)
