"Watch that back foot." Morgan said gently. "You're turning it out again."

"Sorry." Reid replanted his foot.

"Much better. And bend your knee a little more." Morgan coached. "Two sets. okay."

Reid nodded before starting.

"So have you talked to Elle?" He asked between sets.

Morgan nodded, "She's good. Misses work. I thought I might take her out fo a movie or something, before she gets cabin fever. Wanna come? We could ask JJ too."

"Worried Elle might think it's a date?" Reid teased, catching Morgan off guard. Normally it was the other way around.

"No, I just thought we could all use some fun. And since Hotch had the family thing and Gideon is still hiding out at his cabin. We've only got two days before we are officially back on."

"I suppose it could be fun. But nothing too serious."

"Agreed." Morgan nodded. "Other leg. Two sets. I was thinking maybe that new Samuel L Jackson flick."

"The one about the FBI witness and the snakes." Reid shook his head. "Sounds totally stupid."

"Yeah, well it is Samuel L Jackson." Morgan laughed. "We go, we watch, we grab burgers or a pizza afterwards and nitpick it to death. Unless you have another idea."

"Not really. Snakes it is."

"Great." Morgan led Reid over to the weight machines. He hadn't been shocked when Reid came to him after the Virginia case, wanting some coaching on handling himself in a fight. He had been a bit surprised at how fast Reid took to his training. The kid was actually in very good shape. And he was eager to learn. And Morgan was eager to teach. Over the weeks, it seemed like Reid was becoming more comfortable around him.

"So, you had a nice visit with your mom" Morgan said as casually as he could.

"Yeah. It was nice. I mean other than my mother nearly having a panic attack on the plane. She really hates flying."

"She seemed pretty cool."

"For a nutcase."

"Yeah. Well we all have our thing." Morgan smiled softly. "You know, if you want to talk."

"Not really." Reid said more sharply than he meant to. "Morgan, thanks. It's just that I"m wasn't ready to bring up that bit of family history and I'm not really ready to talk about it."

"Well, when you are."

"Sure."

"Speaking of ready. You ready to kick it up a notch." Morgan pointed to the free weights. "Put some muscle on that scrawny chest."

"You gonna spot me."

"Or course, man. I always got your skinny back." Morgan laughed, loading weights on the bar.

Spencer stretched out on the weight bench. "Then bring it on."
