As we enter Tsunade's office Itachi, Sasuke and I stand more towards the right of the room as Aphrodite and her team take the other side. With this Tsunade's gaze moves from one side to the other as she openly sighs seeing the obvious tension in the room. "What happened this time?" She speaks quietly causing me to frown. I go to step up out of line to speak however Itachi places his hand on my shoulder before he does so himself. "We located the disturbance and figured out it was an interdimensional portal. Kira noticed that the location on the other side was that of her home. However, she did not know the two teenagers that stepped into this dimension shortly before the portal closed and vanished." Itachi explains as Tsunade's gaze falls on him. "They were speaking a language that I could not understand, however, Kira was able to translate what they were saying."

Itachi pauses with his report as he glances over his shoulder towards me before looking back to Tsunade herself. "The kids did not seem like a threat so she decided to try and speak with them. She found out that Damen was supposed to meet them there, as they also considered us enemies even though they did not want to fight. When they turned to leave Kira moved to stop them only to be stopped herself. Sasuke and I moved in to intercept when it seemed as if the boy had caught her in some kind of genjutsu. We realized it wasn't when she managed to ask the boy one last question." With this Tsunade's gaze moves to me as if silently telling me to inform her what I had asked. "How they were able to open a portal." I spoke up and nearly cringe at my own emotionless words before I can stop myself. "He simply said they have the key and disappeared."

"Why did you just stand there and let them get away?" She rightfully questions and I raise my hand to the back of my neck. "I couldn't move or even blink after I barely managed to ask that question." I answer her honestly and Itachi gives a grunt of agreement. "Yes, and after they left Kira couldn't even stand. Seems the boy was able to disrupt her chakra flow enough that she hadn't even realized her chakra blade had been released." When I thought Itachi was done he turns more towards the Anbu in the room. "It seems Aphrodite knows something about the two and has refused to share the information." This had me tilting my head and looking from Itachi towards the Anbu in the room. I hadn't really expected him to mention it since it wasn't necessarily from our point of view exactly, however, the blond now has both Uchiha glaring at her.

"Damphire?" Tsunade questions as her gaze moves to the shortest of the three Anbu as well. Aphrodite openly sighs before stepping forward. "The two teenagers are two of our newest members of the family. Born exactly five years before Kira and I were trapped in this world." Huh, I was right with their ages but that doesn't explain why Aphrodite refused to say anything in the forest. "What can you tell me about them?" Tsunade questions more gently this time than when she had initially addressed Aphrodite. "Not much, they were far too young to have shown many signs of their powers."

She's dodging the real question. I found my eyes narrowing upon her form as I take a step towards her. Itachi and Sasuke both caught me as if they thought I was going to hurt her. Closing my eyes a moment now that I have everyone's attention I take in a breath to steady myself. "Who are they?" I ask the same question again. Allowing my icy glare to show through my words moving from me, empty without emotions. "They are our.." I pull my right hand away from Sasuke and raise it cutting her off. "I'm being serious. You knew Krista's name when I spoke it. Who is she?" I watch as her mask turns away from me almost as if she was looking to Tsunade to save her. "Aphrodite." I speak her name to bring her attention back to me. The longer she was silent the more I could feel my temper boiling. "She's..."

"Out with it." I snap coldly at her causing her to openly flinch again. "She's your little sister okay! She and Lucas are your siblings!" That one truth I got out of her felt like a solid punch to my face. I found myself looking away from her towards the door fast enough it probably seemed like she had in fact hit me. "You didn't think to tell me about them before now?" I speak simply even though on the inside I was anything but emotionless right now. "I've known for years you are keeping things from me." With that I leave the office, this time no one even moves to stop me. I nearly make it outside before I hear a pair of steps behind me. Without a word, I feel his fingers intertwine with mine before he more fully holds my hand. A small gesture but enough to ease some of my anger.

Without a word he pulls my hand as he moves forward, guiding me as I had done with him when I decided to tell him more about myself. His black hair shimmering with blue highlights in the afternoon sun. Looking away from Sasuke I set my gaze slightly more towards my right so I was peering past him. Honestly, I don't care where he is taking me right now. My anger is still boiling inside of me as if it is about to blow. The entire way he didn't say a word or even look back towards me until he stops in the very same trees I had found him and Itachi training in before we had been officially labeled a team. Suddenly he turns as his hand leaves mine. Gripping onto my shoulders he guides me back against a tree. In his dark gaze, I could see his own anger within the depths. "Kira..." He goes to speak but before he could say a word I found myself cutting him off. I don't want any words of encouragement, I don't want to be told that I shouldn't be mad at her for what she just told me. I don't want to hear any of it. I just want a distraction from my own emotions. Raising up onto my toes and pressing my lips against his I prevent him from speaking as I close my eyes. As I feel him meet my kiss he pushes more against me causing the bark of the tree to dig against the bare skin on my back. I found myself curling my fingers into fists in his shirt.

As his tongue dives into my mouth a low inhuman growl escapes from me. Matching his kiss my tongue meets with his as his hands move from my shoulders and grip onto my hips. Almost as if the tree wouldn't hold me in place so he felt he had to keep me there. Through my now simmering anger, I find myself smiling against his lips as I release his shirt and bring my hands up over his shoulders. Sifting my fingers into his soft black hair. At this moment, I didn't care about what I was doing. whether it be right or wrong, I'm simply glad for this distraction.

Sasuke pulls his lips from hers, nearly chuckling as he watches her bottom lip poke out in a pout. Leaning his head down he brushes his cheek over hers as he lowers his head to rest on her shoulder. Memories running through his mind of every time he would watch her while she was training when they were five. How happy he had felt when he saw she was in his class at the academy. Every moment he would watch her during training and class afterward. Then the feeling he had gotten when her name had been called for his team. Every time he had wanted to approach her during the academy but with the look of pain in her gaze, it made her practically unapproachable. Every time he had wanted to tell her how he feels but never could get the words out. The first time he had actually held a conversation with her and she first called him Emo Boy. How she had felt the first time he had actually touched her that day she had collapsed during training in the land of waves. Then the memories of those nights on top of Tazuna's house when he had finally gathered up the courage to get her alone. -"Sorry to burst your ego. You aren't my type."- Her words had stung him deeply. She had so easily brushed him off and unknowingly admitted his feelings were one-sided.

A smile comes back to his features as he relives the vision Itachi had shown him. Proving to him he had always been wrong. She had lied back then, probably afraid he would treat her like the other girls if she had told him. Raising his head he catches her ear lobe gently between his teeth. Taking pride in the breathy gasp and the bumps now skitting over her skin. He finds himself taking in a breath to steady himself in a way he has seen her do countless times, before speaking quietly into her ear. "I've loved you since the first time I saw you training with Aphrodite when we were five. I used to watch you every chance I could get. And then when I saw you in the academy our first day of school, all I could do was watch you. I loved every tilt of your head, every glare, every twitch of your lips when you would fight not to smile. Kira, I've loved you nearly my entire life." He finally said it. After all of these years, he was able to tell her exactly how he feels. "You... even before.." She breathes just as quietly as he was speaking causing him to smile. "Even then I loved you."

He could feel her try to move. Trying to slip between him and the tree. -Not this time.- He thought to himself as he keeps her in place by tightening his grip on her. Pressing her further against the tree he raises his head and looks down into her charcoal gaze. For once none of her emotions were hindered from her eyes. Her eyes holding more feeling than he had ever seen her possess. "It's not wrong." He speaks as he rests his forehead against hers watching as her eyes widen. Visibly questioning how he would know. "Itachi showed me what happened after I left our date. I know. I remind you of him."

"But.." She begins before he cuts her off by placing a brief kiss on her lips. "It's a good thing. It means you love me like you love him." -I hope.- He had expected her to fight against his words, he had expected anything but the smile that danced over the very lips he used to wonder what it would be like to kiss. A smile that is more open than any he had ever seen from her. A smile that finally met her eyes. He found his eyes widening as her cheeks flush. A blush warming her cheeks so beautifully it only enhances her already gorgeous features. He couldn't stop himself even if he had wanted to. He claims her lips again and this time she presses her lips further against his automatically. As if she had wanted this kiss as much as he did. -Kira, with you, my life is complete.-

It didn't escape him that not once did she tell him that she loved him too. But he had finally told her. After eleven years, he finally told her. He had no idea how long they had been caught up in each other until the night was upon them, the trees already casting them into the nightly shadows. Yet when he went to release her he watched at first as she set down on the ground leaning her back against the tree. He found himself confused but he set down next to her. She waited until he was situated as comfortable as he could get before he found her head on his shoulder and her fingers entwining with his on her lap. -She may not have said it. But she is mine.- With these words running through his thoughts he leans his head back against the tree and closes his eyes taking in the feeling of her at his side like this.

By the time morning came, she had shifted in her sleep. Her head now rested in his lap as he runs his fingers through her ponytail. Much like when he had spent the night at her place. He couldn't sleep. All he could think about was the girl next to him and now in his lap. When he had seen her again for the first time in three and a half years he thought he had lost her. There were no emotions in her eyes as she looked at him. No pain, no anger, not even the happiness he had seen in Naruto and Sakura. Nothing. But the longer they have been together in the leaf he has been able to watch her emotions return. Her emotionless mask fading even unable to hide her true feelings at times. Then last night, her barriers finally crumbled and he was able to see the woman hiding beneath them. The best part of it, there was no one that had lingered just out of sight as there has been every time he has tried to be alone with her. No one was there to witness her true feelings but him.

That day she had taken him back to her place and cooked him breakfast. The very emotions he had seen the night before still swirling in her gaze. Since neither one of them had any money they had decided to stay in her apartment for a day inside. When normally they would be out training. A comfortable silence between them even when they had laid back on her couch with her head against his chest and his arms settled around her. He found himself wondering what all he doesn't know about her and even settled on the probability that there was food in the fridge because she was using it to deter her cravings as she had explained on their date. Thoughts were running through his mind more than he'd have liked. Even though he was curious, not once did he chance breaking the silence. As Kira accepted the company he was offering and took the reprieve from her usually empty house. She wanted to tell him how she feels but the words kept leaving her. Or when she felt them on the tip of her tongue she would think of the very man he reminded her of most. She knows how she feels about Sasuke has nothing to do with Light, but she wasn't sure anymore if her loving anyone was best for them. Could she continue to be selfish as she always has been? If she utters those words she will hurt Itachi and Kakashi, could she be alright with that? Just as if she speaks those words knowing it means she has chosen she knows it would end the life he could have had without her. Can she hurt him in such a way?

Either way, she looked at it. She knew she couldn't continue on as she has been. Not choosing would be beyond selfish. In the end, she can't keep them waiting. With those thoughts, she raises her head and slowly pulls Sasuke's shirt collar away from his neck. His eyes on her she watches his adam's apple raise and lower as if he has a lump in his throat. It wasn't until she seen him close his eyes as he gently placed a hand on the back of her head guiding her lips to his neck did her lips pull back and bare her fangs. Though unlike what he had thought he felt her tongue run over his neck causing his breath to catch. He could feel her fangs move gently over his skin but never puncture causing him to shiver. "Sasuke.." She speaks causing her breath to cool his damp skin where she had just licked. "I love you too."
