Chapter 307 Beaulieu Manor

Tuesday, January 31st, Morning

The morning came early; even if the sun weren't up, she would be. Brooke Davis would get up before the sun and headed to the North Range as she's oft to do. There she would use the gym in a morning workout. Once complete, she would return to her suite of rooms to begin her day.

Brooke would shower after her workout, then select her outfit for the day. Image is everything, and being who she is, one could not skip out on displaying the proper image. Once dressed, Brooke would head down to the family dining room, tablet in hand.

Once in the family dining room, she'd meet with the butler, whom most people call Lurch, behind his back. After a quick conversation with Lurch, Brooke would inspect the breakfast buffet. Once satisfied, she would make herself a plate and take her position at the head of the table. There she would review her business stuff and eat her breakfast.

The first person to join Brooke turned out to be her daughter. Now Brooke had several, but it was her daughter Trin. Brooke looked up over her tablet.

"Morning Trin," Brooke said.

"Morning, Mom," Trin said while making her breakfast plate but had her back turned to Brooke.

"You look nice this morning," Brooke said.

Trin turned around and carried her plate to the table. She set the plate down and took a seat at the table. "Thanks, Mom," Trin said.

"You're welcome; why are you so dressed up?" Brooke asked.

"I was going to put in an appearance in the East Range and use one of the hoteling desks, or Bobbi-Lee's office," Trin said.

"Can't work wait?" Brooke asked.

"Fashion week is less than a week away; I have details I have to hammer in place," Trin said.

"What about Wyatt?" Brooke asked.

"He's going to spend time in the reading room doing his school work and later spending time with Jess," Trin said.

"You should spend time with him before the chance is gone," Brooke said.

"Try to spend as much time as I can with Wyatt," Trin said.

Brooke nodded, "Well, it's nice to have some of you girls under this roof; maybe you could rub off on your sister," she said.

"Keni?" Trin asked.

"Yes, Keni," Brooke said.

Before Trin could respond, Fallon walked into the room on her smartphone. She looked around the room and stopped before she walked into anything. Brooke noted that Fallon dressed stylish but casual. Fallon nodded a few times and hung up her smartphone. Slowly, she looked to Brooke.

"Morning, Fallon," Brooke said.

"Morning, Brooke," Fallon said as she made up a breakfast plate.

"So, what do you have planned for today?" Brooke asked.

"Mainly work," Fallon said as she came to the table.

"Do you need an office?" Brooke asked.

Fallon shook her head. "No, I figure I'd head over to RBR and work there," she said.

"Sounds like a good plan. Would you need a limo ride?" Brooke asked.

"No, I'll just use the car I keep here," Fallon said.

"Okay," Brooke said.

Izzy entered the family dining room; she's dressed in a stylish business suit and headed to the buffet. After making herself a plate, she joined the rest at the table. She looked them over and smiled.

"Morning, Mom," Izzy said.

"I take it you're working today?" Brooke asked.

"US representatives are always on the job," Izzy said.

"So, you're heading into the office today?" Brooke asked.

"Yes, and well, it's going to be a dreary day, and I'll take the SUV," Izzy said.

"I know you can't use my limos," Brooke said.

The two teenagers of the house entered the room. Sawyer went right to the buffet. The blonde teenager wore her cheerleader outfit, and cheekily, had her hair in pigtails tied with blue and black ribbons.

Keni followed Sawyer, also dressed in her cheerleading outfit, but her brownish-black hair was a mess. Brooke shook her head when she saw Keni. The two teenagers took their place at the table.

"Lost your brush, Keni?" Brooke asked.

"Yeah, I've got one at school," Keni said, in her customary pose, foot upon the cushion of the chair and milk dribbling from her chin as she ate cereal.

"Is everyone excited about tonight?" Sawyer asked.

"Ugh! When will this end?" Keni asked.

"When it's finished," Sawyer said and giggled at her cleverness.

"You'll miss it when it's gone," Fallon said.

"Eh! I don't think so," Keni said.

The next people to enter were Candi, Fawn, and Madyson. The three young doctors went over to the breakfast buffet. One of them, the one named Madyson, looked at Fawn. "We need to get one of these for the beach house," Madyson said.

"Mads, you've been saying that about everything you've seen here," Fawn said.

"Well, you have to admit that this place is nice," Madyson said.

"That it is," Fawn said.

"What do you think, Candi?" Madyson said.

"Aunt Brooke, is this the organic bacon?" Candi asked.

"Yes, it is," Brooke said.

"Avoiding the question, masterfully," Madyson said.

"And I will keep doing so," Candi said.

The three young doctors took their places at the table and started to eat breakfast. Slowly, the rest of the guests shuffled in and took their place at the table. The two younger Scotts who would be honored tonight took their place at the table.

"So, Kay, are you going to cheer me on tonight?" Sawyer asked.

"She's going to say it's just cheerleading," Keni said.

"Keni, be nice," Fallon said.

"I can't say I did miss this," Ellie said as she finished her coffee.

Andy looked to Karen, "Ever thought you'd be a matriarch of this lot?" he asked.

"No," Karen said.

Angela looked to Jess. "Jess, now, remember; do your homework and don't goof off with Wyatt," Angela said.

"Mom, I'm not going to goof off with Wyatt," Jess said.

Candi turned to Madyson and Fawn. "I've got some running around to do today, and I need to do it alone. Are you two good?" she asked.

"Are you taking off after brekky?" Madyson asked.

"I was going to the sauna first," Candi said.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Fawn said.

"There's so much to do around here; I'm good," Madyson said.

"I'll take you site seeing the rest of the week," Candi said.

"Okay," Fawn said.

"I'm going to hold you to that," Madyson said.

Fallon looked over to Lucas. "Do you have a moment to talk before you go to school, Uncle Luke?" she asked.

"I can give you a few minutes," Lucas said.

"In private, please," Fallon said.

"Sure, sure, just after breakfast," Lucas said.

Kay looked at Ivy and took hold of her hand. Brooke looked over the full table and smiled; she missed having a full house and took everyone in. Brooke turned back to her tablet, breakfast, and enjoyed the full house.
