AN: Now I do have an idea of what type of trainers I want Lynn, Ronnie Anne, and Clyde to be. I am still not sure which Pokemon for the most part, some of them I already picked. Their Pokemon will be more aligned with the type of trainers they will be. Unlike Lincoln's Pokemon in this story's predecessor, I picked most at random and selected others to match comic heroes and villains.

Chapter 2

[Viridian City]

The sun was starting to set as the 3 trainers were just leaving the pokecenter, they were officially registered for the gym challenge. "Alright, so where do we go get my Pokemon?" Clyde asked, smiling.

"I talked to nurse Joy and she gave me direction to a breeder nearby" Lynn replied while looking at a device in her hand. "Follow me and don't get lost."

"What's that device Loud?" Ronnie Anne asked, seeing her put it in her pocket.

"I'll tell you later for now let's get moving, I want to get there before they close" she replied, while not looking at her. The 2 teens were getting used to the older girl's cold attitude toward them and just followed her. After a few minutes of walking they found themselves at a nice looking house with a large fenced yard just on the outskirts of the city.

Lynn knocked on the door and it was answered by a woman. She wore a long lime green overalls and a pale yellow shirt. She wore a lime green bandana over her long light brown hair. "Hello, how can I help you?" She asked in a kind and surprised voice.

"Hi, sorry for bothering you this late…" Lynn replied with a friendly voice and shaky smile. "...But these two here just got their Trainer License and wanted to see the Pokemon you have to sell for beginner trainers."

"It is getting pretty late," the woman said while thinking of what to do. "But I suppose I could still let them see them. My name is Lydia by the way."

"Lynn Loud Junior and thank you so much" the older girl said while shaking her hand. "Is it alright if I leave these two with you for a few minutes? There are some things I need to take care of."

"Sure that's no problem," Lydia said with a smile. With that the sporty Loud ran off back into the city. "Well come inside and I'll gather the Pokemon that would be in your price range."

"Thank you for this Miss Lydia" Clyde said with a grateful smile. "I'm Clyde Mcbride and this is Ronnie Anne Santiago."

"Just call me Lydia, now you go through that door to the yard and I'll bring them out there." They did as they were told and waited. Soon a small herd of different Pokemon approach them. Within the group was a Venonat, Paras, Psyduck, Rattata, Pigey, Ekens, Koffin, Oddish, Sperrow, Nidoran male, Nidoran female, Poliwag, Bellsprout, and an Exeggcute. "These would be the Pokemon within your price range" Lydia spoke up from behind the Pokemon.

The Pokemon themselves swarmed the 2 teens with excitement. Clyde crouched down to look and talk to them, while Ronnie Anne stood off to the side. She had one that she desperately wanted and was hoping Lynn could find someone that would have. While Clyde was talking to Lydia about each of the Pokemon, Ronnie felt something rub against her leg. Looking down she saw it was one of the Pokemon. Curiosity getting the better her, she bent down and picked it up. "You're a friendly little guy aren't you" she said to it and began to pet it.

"That's actually a girl" Lydia spoke up seeing the 2 interact. "That's a female Nidoran, you can tell because of its blue coloring and smaller horn. Male Nidorans' are pink and have a larger horn." She then points out the male Nidoran near Clyde.

Ronnie looked at the 2 different Pokemon in surprise. "Wait, so the male is pink and the female is blue?" Clyde asked. Lydia nodded and Ronnie Anne snapped out of surprise and went back to petting the Nidoran.

"It seems like you might have just found your first Pokemon partner" Lydia remarks, turning her attention back to the Mexican-American trainer.

"What! No I don't think-" she started to deny. However at that moment the Nidoran cuddles closer to her, causing her to look down at the Pokemon. Seeing it cuddling to her and cooing at her made her heart melt at the sight. "Okay fine, I'll take her" Ronnie Anne gave in with a smile, with the Nidoran crying with excitement.

"Perfect! How about you Clyde?" Lydia said happily before looking towards the African-American trainer. "Have you decided on one to pick?"

Clyde looked at the Pokemon surrounding him, the truth was he had it down to 2 choices. After weighing the pros and cons, he made his decision. "I think I'll pick the Oddish" he said while pointing to the grass/poison Pokemon. Said Pokemon started crying with joy while jumping up and down.

"Fantastic! You can take those two inside and wait there while I put the rest back inside" Lydia said with a smile. The 2 did as they were told.

As they waited for Lydia, Lynn came through the front door. "I'm back, so Mcbride did you pick a Pokemon?" Lynn asked upon entering the building.

"Yeah and not just me" Clyde replied with a smile while pointing his thumb to the other trainer in the room. Ronnie Anne grumbled a bit, but otherwise said nothing.

"So you found one too, Santiago?" The older girl said with a raised eyebrow. "Good because I couldn't find any you-know-what in the city. So you'll have to catch something else or not take on any Gyms until I found one. I wasn't going to waste another day looking for one."

"Oh Lynn you're back" Lydia said with a smile upon entering the room. "Did you finish what you needed to do?"

"I got enough of it finished" Lynn replied with a smile. "So how much do these two owe you for the Pokemon?"

"The Nidoran is three thousand pokedollars and the Oddish is two thousand pokedollars" the breeder said with a smile. This caused the 2 new trainers' eyes to go as wide as dinner plates. "I only showed them Pokemon that were less than three thousand, since they would've only got five thousand for being new trainers."

"I appreciate that" the red wearing girl said with gratitude as she pulled out her bank card. "I'll pay for them, I told them I pay for half for each Pokemon and this will make things easier for you."

"That's very kind of you," Lydia commented with a smile. After they finished the transaction, Lydia walked to the two trainers with 2 pamphlets, 2 pokeballs, and 2 paper bags. "Here are their pokeballs, a pamphlet of each Pokemon to help you raise them, and some food and treats for them." They both took the items with a smile and thanked her. "Take care of them and be careful on your journey."

All 3 trainers said their goodbyes and left the establishment. Both Ronnie Anne and Clyde kept their Pokemon out of their pokeball and were holding them. "Well let's get to the area where the city allows trainers to camp" Lynn said while looking at the 2 holding their Pokemon.

"Wait, shouldn't we try to get a room and a bed at the pokecenter?" Clyde asked in confusion.

"The pokecenter is already full" the sporty Loud replied without looking at him. "I asked nurse Joy when I was getting directions. So your first night as a trainer and we will be roughing it."

"Well not like we're not prepared for it" Ronnie commented with an eye roll. "Nidoran is cool and all, but part of me still wishes my first Pokemon wasn't a Yveltal." This caused both Lynn and Clyde to turn to her in confusion and shock.

"Wait! That's the Pokemon you wanted?!" Lynn screamed in disbelief.

"How did you pass the Trainer's test?" Clyde asked, shaking his head while facepalming.

"I study just what I needed to pass the test" The tan skin girl asked in confusion. "I'll admit I didn't study every Pokemon, only the ones that would most likely show up in the test. Why what's wrong with wanting a Yveltal?"

"Yveltal is a legendary Pokemon from the Kalos region" Clyde responded, still shaking his head. "There is no way some unofficial breeder is going to have a Yveltal for sale. Did you even study anything about the Pokemon that you wanted?" Receiving nothing more than her blinking in response, he let out a little groan. "We are going to need to teach you about Pokemon while we're traveling."

"You mean you'll need to teach her Mcbride" Lynn said with a shake of her head. "My job is to teach you both about being a trainer and watch over you. You were supposed to study everything you needed for the journey beforehand. As for legendary Pokemon, only very special or lucky trainers managed to catch legendary Pokemon. Linc is one of them, Terra his Diancie is a legendary Pokemon. Once we set up our tents then will sort out the money you both owe me."

Both teens were surprised by that, but said nothing. They just continued following the older girl and were excited about what tomorrow will bring.

[Vermilion City, Vermilion Gym]

Within the building a Pokemon battle had just concluded. On one side was the gym leader Lt. Surge. He had spiky blonde hair and wore a sleeveless green shirt, camouflage pants, black boots, and dog tags. On the opposite side of the battlefield was a 16 year old with long white hair in a ponytail. He wore a black vest with Toxic on the back stitched with purple thread, his old worn white muscle shirt, black cargo pants, and purple and black sneakers. This trainer was Lincoln Loud, who had just gotten to Kanto that morning.

"I'll admit, that was a heck of a match," Lt. Surge praised with a smile. "Even though you were just going for your first badge, you made it entertaining being an experienced trainer. I was able to use stronger Pokemon then I normally would and still lost. Then again I expect no less from one of the two siblings from the other world. There's your sister Lynn Loud, better known as Lynnsanity the fighting American. Then there's you Lincoln Loud, mostly known as the Other Worldly Trainer."
