So, I wasn't quite sure about this chapter. I'm not really good at fillers which is essentially what this chapter and the next are. Though, this chapter does have some further plot points that will be more heavily featured in future chapters. The next chapter will be a one and a half year time skip from this chapters and then the chapter after that will see Holly's time in the Underworld coming to an end before we return to the Wizarding World and begin our journey through the Goblet of Fire.

Holly stood between Tisiphone and Alecto, smiling softly as Molly fussed over her before her sisters would take her to the Underworld for training. She had woken up a couple of hours ago and Molly had practically shovelled several potions into her mouth before she could even string together a coherent sentence.

Her mind was somewhat clearer now; more so than it had been the last few times she was conscious. Holly's mind had certainly cleared enough for her to slowly start working through everything that had happened so far.

One: she had almost died; her Uncle beating the shit out of her like he usually did. Her beating had forced her into her Creature Inheritance two years before she was actually supposed to go through it.

Two: she now had three sisters who looked supernaturally beautiful and were downright terrifying in their own rights.

Three: she had seven 'fated' mates; a concept that didn't really settle well with her. Holly kind of felt like her choice was being taken from her. Again. And it had only been the assurance from Ron – telling her that she would be the one to ultimately pick who her mates were – that kept her from raging at the unending unfairness that seemed to be her life.

Four: she had one year to find, and 'mark' said seven mates before magic caught up that she had come into her inheritance and the ministry would attempt to put her in the CRP and force mates upon her whether she wanted them or not. The thought was utterly terrifying and yet, she felt angry more than anything else; a deep-seated rage that they would even dare to try and force her into anything.

There was still so much for her to work out, but Holly was still trying to work through the first four problems, and it seemed her brain wouldn't allow her to fully focus on anything else either.

"I've packed all the nutrients potions you'll need to get you to a healthier weight," Molly continued, "it won't help the height, I'm afraid, dear, but it will help with the malnourishment."

"Thank you, Molly," Holly mumbled, stepping forward and wrapping her arms around the older witch's waist as best she could, her face burying in the woman's stomach, "for everything."

She heard Molly sniffle, the older witch tightening her hold on Holly before she released her, and Holly found herself being pulled into a hug by Ron. Holly relaxed in his hold, her head resting on his chest as his chin rested on the top of her head. She hadn't really noticed how much Ron had grown over the summer. She could even feel the muscles he had developed as well.

"Don't get into any trouble while I'm not there," he told her, earning an amused huff from the small witch, "seriously, Hols, be safe."

"I'm going to the Underworld, Ron," she began, smirking up at him, her chin resting on his chest now, "what's the worst that could happen?"

She giggled at Ron's groan before squeaking as she was suddenly yanked away from her friend and found herself sandwiched between Fred and George. Holly's eyes widened, her body stiffening like a board as she sought Ron's disgruntled gaze with pleading eyes. It wasn't that she felt unsafe, but Holly had never been hugged by Fred or George before let alone both of them at the same time.

"Oi!" Ron exclaimed, glaring at his brothers who, like always, completely ignored him.

"Our ickle Hollykins is on her way to the big bad Underworld, Gred," Fred exclaimed dramatically.

"And all on her own, Forge," George replied just as dramatically, "what if she needs our help?"

"Or misses our handsome selves," Fred added on.

"If anything," Percy cut in, removing Holly from his brother's grasps, and gently righting the obviously flustered witch, "she will be happy to be away from the both of you."

Fred and George glared at their brother, but the looks went unseen by Holly who had found herself back beside her sisters. She smiled at the Weasley's, wide eyes searching out Ron who gave her an encouraging nod before Holly grabbed Tisiphone's outstretched hand and she disappeared in a cloud of black smoke.

"Well, now that she's gone."

The brothers turned to see their mother and sister standing side by side, both of them giving identical smirks as they held up two sabre's each. "Time to train if you want to be able to win over Holly," Ginny said, her smirk turning into a devious grin.

Ron didn't even need to train but he paled just as quickly as his brothers.

Yup, women were absolutely terrifying.

Holly didn't know how she felt about travelling the way her sisters did. There was just something strange about your entire body turning into smoke. Not that the sensation had been unpleasant. In fact, it gave her a similar feeling to flying; like she was weightless.

She looked around her, blinking a few times just to make sure that what she was seeing was actually in front of her.

"It is not what you had in mind, sister?" Tisiphone spoke up, even as Holly's three sisters moved forward, Holly following behind them.

"Not gonna lie," Holly began nervously, "I was kind of expecting screams of pain and torture, and dead people walking around. Maybe some blood. Definitely some fire."

"We are in a pocket dimension in the Underworld," Tisiphone explained, "it is here that we will train you and you will get to meet Lord Hades and Lady Persephone."

Holly froze at her sister's words. Her eyes widening as she processed what she had just been told. "I'm going to meet Hades and Persephone?" she whispered to herself.

"Not today," Alecto informed her, "today we will show you our domain and you will settle in. Tomorrow we will begin your training and you will meet with the Lord and Lady in a month."

"A month?" Holly paled, "but you told Ron I'd be back in time for the Quidditch World Cup."

"Times works differently here," Tisiphone assured her, "for every hour there, a month and a half passes here."

"You will be here for twenty-four hours to your friends," Alecto lectured, "but for you, three years will pass before you see them again."

"Three years?" Holly whispered, suddenly feeling lightheaded.

A clawed hand gently grasped her shoulder and Holly looked up at Alecto who appeared out of her comfort zone. "Do not…worry," she began slowly, like comforting someone wasn't something she did often, "the time may seem long, but it will go by quickly. For now, you must focus on learning control and training. Many will come for you, those who will wish to mate you, and you must be prepared to kill."

"Kill?" Holly squeaked, her face paling.

"At the least to seriously maim," Megaera retorted, and Holly blinked owlishly at the other woman.

"Did… did you just make a joke?" she stuttered.

Her only reply was matching smirks from all three women as they continued on.

One month in the Underworld…

Like Alecto had promised, time went quickly when one was unable to feel their arms or legs for days at a time.

Training was hard and her sister's did not go easy on her because they were 'related'. If anything, that fact only seemed to make them work her harder. Her first month had been split between training her to fight both with and without her bident as well as meditating and learning to control her new abilities and instincts.

Holly hated meditating. It was one of the most boring things she had to do, and she seemed to have to do it for hours. Tisiphone was the one who helped her with meditation because, like her, Alecto and Megaera seemed to hate it and would find anything else to be doing at that time.

Alecto and Megaera had taken to training Holly. Alecto with her bident and Megaera with hand to hand, or claw to claw, combat. It was slightly less painful to call upon her wings, but Holly didn't do it as often because she hated the feeling of her skin ripping open so that they could come out. Still, she couldn't deny that she loved having the ability to really, truly, fly through the sky. She had always loved flying on her broom, but nothing could beat having your own wings.

She missed her friends. In the moments where Holly was allowed to rest, or when she dozed off during meditation, she would think about her friends. She hadn't even had a chance to talk to Ron about everything that had happened, and she most certainly wanted to talk to her godfather. Sirius and Remus were the only two father's she had, and she had wanted nothing more than to be sandwich between them as she allowed herself to cry and complain about the injustices that seemed to make up her life.

It wasn't all bad. Holly enjoyed training and today they were actually going to be meeting Hades and Persephone. She had asked about meeting her 'mother', but her sisters were quick to tell her that Nyx was someone who came to you and only when she wanted to.

Holly followed her sisters into the palace, now sporting the same dress as her sisters. It had taken Holly an entire week to get used to the new clothing and to stop blushing every time she saw her reflection and how much skin she was showing off. Not that she had much to show off. Her sister's had been furious the first time they had seen her naked during the time they would all bathe together. The protruding bones and the faded scars had done nothing to soothe their anger.

She was slowly gaining weight and could feel her muscles developing as she trained. The nutritional potions Molly had given her had helped immensely and she still had a few months' worth of them as well. Holly had already made a mental note to thank the older witch, again, when she went home.

"Holly," Alecto hissed, gaining her sisters attention, "keep up."

There was never any heat behind the hissed words her sisters would send her way; it just seemed like it was a permanent part of their speech. Still, it had taken Holly two weeks to stop flinching every time they spoke to her like that, and she had seen how frustrated her sisters had been with her fear.

"Sorry," she mumbled, hurrying her footsteps as she followed them down a labyrinth of hallways.

The trip was long and confusing, and the only reason Holly wasn't gasping for breath was from all those times Dudley and his friends had gone 'Holly hunting'. The door opened as they approached, and Holly followed nervously behind her sisters as they entered a large room with a roaring fireplace and two occupied thrones.

The man, Hades, was pale with aristocratic features; high cheek bones, sharp jawline, straight nose, and piercing black eyes. His skin was lightly tinged blue, his black hair braided over his shoulder, and his black robes did little to hide the strong physique he possessed. Long, slim fingers, were curled around a beautiful bident made of black steel and decorated with blood diamonds. Holly vaguely noted that her bident had taken on a similar appearance only hers was decorated with emeralds.

The woman, Persephone, was the exact opposite of her husband. Flawless brown skin, soft features, and eyes almost as green as Holly's. Her hair was wildly curly and was a red so bright anyone else would need dye or potions to accomplish it; left down to fall around her hips and accentuated by a floral crown atop her head. She wore a beautiful green Grecian gown adorned with flowers and her delicate feet were left bare though they showed no sign of having ever touched the ground.

They were night and day and yet Holly could sense the love surrounding them; could practically see the bond that joined them to one another for eternity. She had heard the tales of Persephone being stolen away to the Underworld by Hades who had grown obsessed with her. However, she had also found an obscure little journal in the Restricted Section; a journal written by the very woman smiling coyly at her now.

The journal had detailed how Persephone had always been aware of Hades watching her. How she had observed him without his knowledge. How she had felt the potential bond between the two of them but knew it would go no where if left to the unusually shy man. She had written about how she had journeyed to the Underworld and stormed the palace, coming face to face with the man she was coming to love and demanding that he join her for a picnic in her mother's garden. Hades had been hesitant, but no one said no to Persephone and the woman had gotten her way in the end.

Hades had not sequestered her away in the Underworld; instead, Persephone had infiltrated his domain as easily as she had infiltrated his heart and mind. She had refused to give up on the man she loved, even when faced with her mother, and had willingly eaten the Pomegranate seeds. Hades had urged her not to, not wishing for such a bright and beautiful Goddess to be surrounded by darkness and death. In the end, Persephone had brought her brightness and life to the Underworld, seen in small displays around the palace.

People read her story and believed her to be the damsel in distress when, in actuality, Persephone's temper could rival her husbands and her skills in battle were just as great.

Persephone was no damsel; Persephone was a Queen.

"Holly Potter."

She tore her eyes away from the smiling woman and bowed her head politely as she met the fathomless gaze of Hades.

"Lord Hades," she replied nervously.

"You've come far, child of Lily and James Potter; Hecate's blessed-born and chosen child of Nyx, Goddess of the Night, daughter of Chaos," Hades continued, leaning forward slightly in his throne as he looked her over, "future wielder of the Deathly Hallows and future Mistress of Death. Your fate was written millennia before your conception. The magic wielders of your world call you the Girl-Who-Lived or the Prophesised Child. Destined to defeat the one they call Voldemort. What say you?"

"I, uh, I'm…" Holly's mind had drawn a blank at the 'Deathly Hallows' and 'Mistress of Death'. She was sick of titles being thrusted upon her. Sick of people telling her what her 'fate' was or what 'duty' she had. Sick of being called the 'Girl-Who-Lived' and everyone completely ignoring that she'd be dead if not for her mother's sacrifice. A sacrifice that had left her in the hands of abusive muggles with no knowledge of the world she came from or belonged to.

She was sick of being told what was expected of her. Even now, she was told she had seven mates that she would need to find, or she would be forced to mate with government chosen wizards. Holly was angry. No, Holly was so passed angry. She was rageful. She was vengeful. She. Was. Done.

Done with being a shield for adults with more experience than her. Done with being kept in the dark about things that concerned her life. Done with being told what to do and what was expected of her.

She would still defeat Voldemort. That objective had been made personal the moment that bastard had murdered her parents. She would defeat him because his views would harm the people she loved; would see Hermione killed and most likely the Weasley's as well.

She would find her mates because, as unfair as she found the circumstances, Holly had always craved love. She had always desired a family of her own.

"That's it," Hades urged, now out of his throne and striding towards her, bident in hand, "think about it, Holly. Think about everything they've ever done to you…"

"Lord Hades," Tisiphone warned, feeling the mounting pressure of both Holly and Hades.

"… your mother and father, killed because of a prophecy made by a quack in a shady pub. Your godfather, locked away without a trial so that you would be forced to live with your mundane relatives. Abused, beaten, starved by those who should have cared for you. Thrusted into a world you always should have been a part of only to learn that even there, you are what your mundane family tried to beat out of you; a freak."

Tisiphone glanced at her sister, seeing her chest rise and fall as her eyes glowed an eerily beautiful green, red leaking through. She had never seen Holly angry; even the 'fight' they had had at the 'Burrow' had been out of fear that had sent Holly into a battle state.

"Put in danger, year after year," Hades continued, "forced to watch your friends suffer with you, knowing they do it because they love you. Distrusted by your peers for a skill you possess which they do not. Almost killed on multiple occasions. Given hope at a chance you may not have to return to your mundane relatives only for it to be stolen from you by the very man who sealed your parents fates.

"And now? Thrusted into a creature inheritance you never had a chance at avoiding. Seven mates to find and bond with and given no clue as to how to find and chose the right ones. The threat of forced bonding should your government find out about your early inheritance. Taken from your loved ones to be trained to do the one thing you have never wanted to do. To kill."

"Holly, you must be calm," Alecto hissed at her sister, "remember your training."

"Even now," Hades mocked, "you still take orders from others. The perfect soldier. Beaten into submission from a young age. 'Rescued' by the very man who seeks to use you as a weapon. The ultimate weapon. To end a war, he started. You believe your biggest enemy is Voldemort, but this blinds you to your real enemy; one much closer to home.

"Voldemort may have murdered your parents, but it was him that urged your parents to choose Peter Pettigrew as their secret keeper; already knowing that he had been swayed. It was him who dropped you off on the doorstep of your mundane relatives with naught but a note and a blanket. Him who kept you isolated from the wizarding world; knowing your parents had friends who would have petitioned the right to raise you the moment they learned of your situation.

"He was the one who convinced the ministry that your godfather was too dangerous and deranged to be put on trial; knowing your godfather, if left free, had a magical claim to you. And he was the one who chose how to reintroduce you to the wizarding world, still pulling the strings of his little puppet. His pawn. Little Holly Potter, so eager to make him happy in the hopes he would save you from a hell of his own creation. So, tell me, Little Erinyes; if you and Voldemort are merely pawns in a chess game, who is the chess master?"

Holly's bident had slowly materialised in her hand, Hades smirking at the weapon so reminiscent of his own.

"Say it," Hades growled, "give words to the thoughts you have been too scared to entertain. Say it!"

She didn't speak but she did release the pressure that had been steadily building and her sisters found themselves buckling under the pressure.

Holly's wings sprang forth, as did her claws and talons, and she flew at Hades with a bird-like shriek.

Hades met her head on, their bidents colliding in an impressive show of raw strength and power. Holly, after only a month, was showing much improvement from her time spent training with her weapon; managing to wield it like an extension of her body. Tisiphone, Alecto, and Megaera watched, kneeling on the floor, as their sister glared furiously at Hades before she vanished.

They weren't startled that she had vanished per say; more how she had done it. They were familiar with their own form of travel and also the travel of wizards, but Holly had done none of that. She had sunk into the floor, as if she had melted into the very shadows.

"Well, well," Hades smirked, "aren't you an interesting little creature."

Holly flew at him from above, seemingly reappearing from the shadows she had disappeared into. Hades dodged with more grace than a man his size looked to possess. She disappeared once more into the floor only to appear again from a separate part of the room. Each time, Hades dodged or parried her strikes, smirking the whole while as Persephone watched from her throne.

"Your turmoil will only begin to end when you give words to your thoughts," Hades told the young woman, grabbing her arm and bringing her back to his chest. "Say it, Holly," he whispered into her ear, drawing a shiver from the young woman, "no more hiding. No more denying or ignoring. You know whose fault all of this rightfully is. Now. Speak. His. Name."

"Dumbledore," Holly whispered, her chest heaving and her body feeling overly full.

"Louder," Hades hissed, throwing a look at his wife who vanished before reappearing in front of Tisiphone, Alecto, and Megaera.

"Dumbledore," Holly growled, the pressure inside of her reaching new heights.

Hades saw Persephone and the three Erinyes vanish within a shield of enchanted vines before he spoke once more. "It's time, Holly," he whispered, "time to let it out. Scream for me, Little Erinyes. Scream."

And she did.

Holly felt something inside of her snap as she screamed, a black energy racing out of her and sending Hades flying through the wall of his throne room moments before the room was completely decimated.

Persephone felt the pressure vanish after a few moments and recalled her vines in time to see Holly passed out on the floor, her wings wrapped protectively around her.

Alecto, Tisiphone, and Megaera, now capable of moving, rushed to their sister, forming a protective triangle at her as they hissed at Hades and Persephone.

"Be calm," Persephone ordered, standing in front of her husband as she glared at the three women imperiously, "whilst my husband's methods leave much to be desired…" she glared at her husband who smiled sheepishly down at her "… he did it for Holly. Had her emotions been allowed to continue to build and fester she would have become an easier target for the hardships to come. As it is, the fate of those she loves has already changed. The Fates informed us that this needed to happen if we desired the best outcome to the approaching war."

"Why help her?" Tisiphone enquired even as she and her sister's relaxed, "what purpose would you have for aiding her?"

"Do you not feel it?" Persephone asked curiously, "Nyx may have given Holly her creature inheritance but even she could not foresee what mixing her own magic with that of Hecate would do."

"Holly is destined to acquire the Deathly Hallows," Hades continued for his wife, wrapping his arm around her waist as she slowly lifted Holly from the ground by creating a bed of roses for the young woman. "The added power will be too much for her mortal body to handle, even with her Erinyes blood," he told them, "the Fates have foreseen that she will transcend the mortal realm and become a Goddess in her own right."

"A Goddess? A Goddess of what?" Alecto asked, looking down at her youngest sister in concealed awe.

"The Fates would not release that information to us," Persephone said, "but they urged us that Holly must been trained in the ways of our kind as well as yours. She will unite a magic trinity that has not been seen in many centuries and will need all the aid that she can acquire."

"You wish to take her from us," Megaera frowned, moving closer to her unconscious sister.

"She will live in the palace, yes," Hades answered, "but you will be free to visit with her whenever you desire and for however long you wish. She will still require your training and guidance to better control her creature inheritance and Holly will need all the family she can get in the coming years."

Tisiphone, Alecto, and Megaera shared a look, silently communicating with one another before they all gave a firm not. It was Tisiphone who spoke, meeting Hades eyes with a fierce determination that would cower lesser men.

"What would you have us do, Lord Hades?"

I love action so I needed to add one here. I also kind of liked the idea of Hades helping Holly to release all of her pent up stress. Well, most of it. Persephone and Hades will play quite a few roles in my story because I love them and just wanted to add them. I've played around with the story of Hades and Persephone so please tell me what you think and I'll see you all in the next chapter :)
