A/N: Wow, chapter 10… Never thought I'd get this far. Unfortunately, this means we're nearing the end. I only intended this to go on for around 12-13 chapters, about the same number of chapters as in a normal animated series, but fret not. Due to the popularity, I'm thinking of doing a full 26 chapters, in homage to the original series. As always, thanks for reading and enjoy the new chapter!

The universe is filled with billions of extraterrestrial beings, many of them new and undiscovered! But one man named Dandy plans on finding and registering them all! He travels the universe with his crew and amazing pompadour in search of adventure, excitement, and boobies! These are the adventures of the dandiest guy in space, Space Dandy!

Space Colony 280-B was never anything special. In fact, it was hardly a colony at all! It was more like a space motel, with several small restaurants and businesses. There were a few residents who lived at 280-B, but they were all workers who tended to their customers, the hundreds of travelers who either stopped by or simply kept their ships docked at the colony, including our four heroes who kept their ship docked here.

Speaking of which, our four heroes happened to be at the 280-B Supermarket. Carrie was in need of some new bras, plus the ship's bathroom was out of toilet paper, so the trip was a necessary one. Unfortunately, the trip wasn't an enjoyable one.

Meow poked his head out of a rack of women's clothing. He wore a pair of women's panties on his head and was using an empty toilet paper roll as a telescope. Behind him, a long tail covered in brown hair moved above the endless sea of clothes racks like a shark's fin.

"Go bra shopping with Carrie, they said," Meow muttered as he scoured the clothing department for the now-missing Sepian. "It'll be fun, they said…"

Dandy poked his head out of a clothes rack beside Meow. "Shut up and keep looking for her. I'd like to get out of here ASAP." He pulled his head back into the clothes rack. Meow groaned.

"Carrie!" Meow called, making a clicking noise with his lips. "Here girl! I got a steak for you!"

Behind him, the tail moved closer and closer until Carrie popped up out of a clothes rack behind him. She had a frilly bra tied around her head with the cups covering her eyes and a pair of wire clothes hangers tied to her back.

"Wooga-ooga-booga!" Carrie screamed, scaring Meow. The Betelgeusian screamed as he leaped several feet in the air and came crashing to the floor.

"Carrie!? What the hell?"

"I am not Carrie," Carrie said in a whispery voice. "I am Bugzor the fly queen! Bzzzt!"

Dandy and QT emerged from a rack of women's clothes behind Meow, both of them looking quite worn out.

"There you are," Dandy groaned. "Now maybe we can start shopping. I wanna get out of here as soon as possible. All the women in here are old and wrinkly…" Dandy grimaced as a couple of heavy-set elderly women walked by, winking and blowing kisses at him.

"We shouldn't be here much longer," QT assured Dandy. "I brought one of Carrie's old bras for reference this time. Now we won't have to spend eight hours trying to shove Carrie in the fitting room and forcing her to try bras on." QT opened his storage compartment and pulled out one of Carrie's rather large, H-cup sports bras.

"Ahem," Dandy and the others heard.

They spun around and standing behind them was the store manager, two policemen accompanying him. He was a large man with a big mustache and wore a blue business suit with a black tie. He had a badge pinned to his chest that read "manager" in gold letters. He pointed one of his hairy-knuckled fingers at Carrie.

"Is this young lady a member of your party?" The rather upset store manager asked Dandy.

"Unfortunately… Who's asking?"

"I am! I'm the manager of this establishment! That lady has caused nothing but mayhem and destruction since she walked through the door!"

The manager took a disk-shaped device out of his pocket. He pressed a button and a holographic screen containing security footage of Carrie wandering around the store. It showed her eating merchandise, climbing on top of and knocking over shelves, and scaring customers with her "Bugzor" costume.

"Look buddy, just send me the bill for the damages and I'll write a check," Dandy sighed.

"And risk keeping you in my store any longer!? Hell no! I want all four of you out of here! You're all banned!"

The two police officers grabbed Carrie by the arms and pulled the bra off her eyes.

"No!" Carrie wailed as she covered her face. "Now everyone knows my secret identity!"

The policemen escorted Dandy and his crew out the front door.

"And don't any of you bother coming back!" The manager shouted after them. "I'm getting an order of restraint on you four! That way if you ever come back, I can have you thrown in prison!" And with that, he stormed back inside his store, the two police officers following him.

"Oh yeah, well I hated this place anyway," Dandy shouted back.

"So much for bra shopping," QT said.

"Eh, we can always just buy her some online," Meow added. "And the Hundred Woolong store sells toilet paper cheaper anyway."

Suddenly, Dandy's cell phone started ringing. Dandy reached into his pocket, opened it up, and put it to his ear.

"Hello, Dandy speaking…The mailman? No, I wasn't expecting any packages… Okay. Can't you just leave it with one of the dock workers...? You need a signature...? No that's fine. I can be there in a few minutes. I'm not too far away… Okay, thanks." Dandy closed his phone and shoved it in his pocket.

"Who was that?" QT asked the alien hunter.

"I bet it was Roach-Man, my arch-nemesis!" Carrie exclaimed.

"It was the mailman. They've got a package for us, but they need someone to sign for it. I told him to wait at the docks until we got there. Was any of you expecting anything?"

"No, not until next month," Meow answered, checking his phone.

"Nuh-uh."

"Bugzor always expects the unexpected!" Carrie shouted. She grabbed her old bra from QT and tied it around her head.

The four of them walked back to the dock where their ship, the Aloha Oe was docked. Waiting for them next to the ship was a creature with a mushroom-shaped head. He wore a light blue postal service shirt and khaki shorts. He held a big box in his hand.

"Afternoon, ladies and gentlemen," he greeted Dandy and his crew. "I've got a long-distance package and a letter for you."

"Okay. I'll sign them and you can be on your way."

"Okay." The mailman looked at his clipboard and at the label on the package. "Oh, sorry. This package is for a… Miss Caroline Antilles? Is she here?"

Dandy turned around to Carrie, who had swiped a tarp from the maintenance closet and tied it around her neck like a cape.

"Carrie, we need you to sign for this package," Dandy told her.

"Sorry, but Bugzor only signs for priority overnight." Dandy covered his eyes and groaned.

"Look, she's standing right here. Can't I just sign for it?"

"Well, I don't see why not."

The mailman handed Dandy the clipboard and a pen. Dandy signed his name and traded the clipboard and pen for the package and letter.

"Oh, and the letter goes with the package. It looks like it's addressed to all of you."

Dandy looked at the letter. "Damn, I didn't know people still sent these…"

"Yeah, just how old is our writer, anyways?" Meow asked. "Hasn't he ever heard of e-mail?"

"I'm heading out," the mailman said. "You folks have a nice day." He stared at Carrie, who was trying to make her "cape" flap in the wind. "Erm… you too, ma'am…"

The four of them went inside the Aloha Oe. Dandy handed Carrie her package and he took the letter. Carrie removed the bra from her eyes to look at the address label on the package.

"Hey, it's from Dad!" Carrie tore into the package, throwing bits of cardboard and packing peanuts everywhere. "He always sends me the coolest stuff!"

Dandy examined the address on the letter, learning that it was sent by a "Dr. Gregory Z. Antilles." He opened the letter, finding a check for five thousand woolongs and a hand-written letter. Before Dandy could read the letter, Carrie shoved a cantaloupe-sized rock and a stack of comic books in his face.

"Look what Dad sent me!" Carrie shouted. "He sent me some of my old comic books and this sparkly rock!"

Dandy took the rock from her. It looked like some sort of purple crystal and had quite a bit of weight to it for its size. Meanwhile, Carrie continued looking through the pile of comics.

"Oh wow, Captain Lethargy and the Couch Cushion Caper! And Zorbak the Destroyer number sixty seven!"

"This looks valuable," Dandy said, examining the rock.

"It is!" Carrie answered. She shoved her comic books in the alien hunter's face. "This is my old first edition copy of Bugzor vs. Roach-Man the Garbage Snatcher!"

"I'm not talking about your stupid comic book!" Dandy swatted the book out of Carrie's hand. "I'm talking about this rock."

"Hey, I know what this is," QT said, taking the rock from Dandy. "This is dragonite. It's a very valuable substance. At one point, it was the most efficient fuel source for warp drives, which made it the most sought-after ore in the universe."

"How much is it worth now?" Dandy asked.

"I'm not sure. I know most of the mines have been cleaned out, so there isn't much left that isn't artificially manufactured. But if this is a naturally-mined piece of dragonite, it could fetch as much as a million woolongs!"

"Damn!" Dandy exclaimed.

"I told you my Dad sends me cool stuff!" Carrie took her rock from the little yellow robot.

"Hey, is that a check?" Meow asked.

"Yeah," Dandy answered. "I wonder why he sent this."

"He might've said in his letter," QT said.

"Dear Mr. Dandy and crew," Dandy read. "My name is Dr. Gregory Z. Antilles. I am the stepfather of your crewmate, Caroline, or Carrie, as I'm sure she has told you to call her. Along with a few gifts I've been trying to send to my daughter for some time, I have also sent a check. My reasoning behind this is because I am an interstellar archaeologist, and am seeking a team to accompany me in my latest archaeological expedition. I am traveling to the Meszeron System to dig around an old abandoned stronghold built by the Sepian Empire. I was hoping to bring my daughter with me so we could learn more about her roots together, however I have found myself in a bit of a sticky wicket; my entire expedition team seems to have abandoned me. Since my daughter is a part of your crew, I decided that I would like to hire you all as my new expedition team. From your records, I understand that your crew is in the alien hunter business, Mr. Dandy. The Meszeron System has not been explored since the Alien Registration Center was founded, and the planet we are exploring is capable of sustaining life, meaning there is a strong likelihood that an unregistered alien or aliens live there. You will be allowed to capture and bring with you as many unregistered aliens as you like and may keep all funds you receive as part of your payment. The check enclosed is an incentive payment, and should you accept my offer, you will be paid much more. I am planning on heading towards your system, so you may meet me at the Alien Registration Center and give me your answer. I don't plan on arriving there until April 8, as I have business to attend to beforehand. I appreciate you looking after my daughter all of this time! Please consider my generous offer, and tell my little Carrie-poo that I love her and that her mother should be out of prison very soon! Sincerely, Dr. Gregory Zak Antilles."

"April the eighth? That's tomorrow!" QT noted.

"Well, this letter was sent two months ago," Dandy said, looking at the front of the envelope.

"So, are we going for it?" Meow asked.

"Hell yeah we are, baby! Think about it… a whole planet full of rare or undiscovered aliens! We'll be set for life! Plus, I'd like to have a few words with this Dr. Gregory…" Dandy glanced over at Carrie, who had laid her stuff on the floor and was eating from the garbage can.

"Bugzor never goes on a mission without eating first!" Carrie told Dandy.

"Of course not…"

Dandy placed the letter back in its envelope and set them on a table by the phone. He shoved the check in his pocket and picked up Carrie's dragonite stone she had set in the floor.

"We'll head out tomorrow after lunch. Hopefully we won't have to wait for this guy very long."

The next day, after they had cashed the check, bought toilet paper, ordered Carrie's bras online, and eaten lunch, Dandy had flown the Aloha Oe to the Alien Registration Center. The four of them walked into the main lobby, searching for anyone that might look like an interstellar archaeologist, whatever the hell that was…

"Carrie, I hope you remember what your Dad looks like so we can recognize him," Dandy told the Sepian.

"Of course I do! He's a silly little man with a big, bushy moustache!" Carrie beamed.

"I don't see anyone here with a moustache," QT said, looking around the room.

"Guess that must mean he's not here yet," Dandy replied.

As the crew looked for somewhere to sit down, Carrie's nose had caught a familiar scent, gunpowder with a hint of Boston Harbor-brand tea. She turned back to the door and saw a short, stocky man walk through the front door of the lobby.

He was an elderly gentleman with a large nose and a huge, bushy, grey handlebar moustache covering his upper lip. He wore a tan safari outfit, complete with a brimmed hat, as well as a pair of small, round-framed spectacles that hung loosely from the bridge of his nose. His legs were short, bronze-colored mechanical legs that made loud, clanking noises when he walked. Slung over his shoulder was a large, antique .547 caliber elephant gun.

"Daddy!" Carrie cried as she ran towards the man. Dandy and the others spun around.

"Oh, there's my little Carrie-poo!" The man exclaimed with a thick British accent as he and Carrie embraced each other.

"Heh, Carrie-poo," Meow sneered.

"Hmm, you're not so little anymore! You might ought to cut back on the milk!" The man patted Carrie on the head and chuckled a bit.

"Dr. Gregory, I presume," Dandy greeted the elderly man. Dr. Gregory let his daughter go and hobbled around her to shake Dandy's hand.

"Ah, Mr. Dandy! You're a dashing young lad! Where did you get that sporty smoking jacket?"

"I got it from my dad," Dandy said, smiling a bit. "But it's not really a smoking jacket. So you're Carrie's dad?"

"Step-dad," Dr. Gregory corrected him. "I'm afraid Carrie's good looks come from elsewhere in the universe."

"I bet my other dad was a superhero!" Carrie exclaimed. "And my other mom was a spy!"

"Ha-ha, she's always had such a colorful imagination! Now, let's talk business, good sir. Have you considered my offer?"

"Yeah… I think we'll take you up on your offer. There's been an alien hunting drought lately…"

"Good, good! We shall leave post-haste! Do you mind if we take your vessel? I seem to have damaged mine."

"Sure thing!"

Dandy, his crew, and Dr. Gregory walked out to the docking bay, where a large, green spaceship had crashed into almost every other docked vessel, crumpling them all against the wall.

"I couldn't find a parking space," Dr. Gregory explained. "So, I had to make myself one."

"I see…" Dandy said, looking at the destruction. "I suppose you're where Carrie gets her destructive tendencies from."

Dr. Gregory laughed. "No, no my boy! I believe she gets that from her step-mother, Agnes. That woman's a real crackerjack! Last year, she started a protest in the Ctarl-Ctarl Empire that leveled an entire city. That's also why she's in jail at the moment."

"Fascinating…" QT muttered sarcastically.

The five of them boarded the Aloha Oe and headed for their destination. Dr. Gregory met Dandy in the cockpit, a small data chip in his hand.

"I hope you know that the Meszeron System is considered private property," Dandy informed him. "It's owned by some private corporation."

"Pish-posh! I know how to get past those fancy corporate-types! Follow the directions on this data chip, and we'll get around them with no issues!"

The Aloha Oe shot off into deep space as fast as its warp drive would allow it to go, until it stopped at a small, five-planet solar system with a bright blue star burning at its center. The yellow ship flew towards a small, grey and blue planet with very few clouds.

"Land in that clearing," Dr. Gregory told Dandy, pointing towards a clear spot.

Aside from the clearing, the rest of the ground below them was blanketed in thick, greyish blue-colored vegetation. A massive, square structure stood in the distance, towering over even the high mountaintops in the far distance.

Dandy and the others disembarked from their yellow starship. The air around them was humid and tasted like cigarette smoke, making it difficult for them to breathe. Brown, funnel-shaped plants seemed to be the culprit, as white smoke spewed out of their tops. They could hear loud chattering noises that reminded them of crickets, only much louder.

"Doesn't this place look nice," Dandy muttered.

"Look Dandy!"

QT pointed towards a small, grey-colored creature with large cracks in its stone grey skin, a neon red light glowing out of them. It had six short, stubby legs, and a mouth shaped like a hippo's, but with a jagged, toothless set of jaws. It plodded past the group, moving at a turtle's pace.

"I've never seen anything like this before," Dr. Gregory noted. He pulled out a small notepad and a pencil from his pocket and scribbled a few notes in it.

"Let's get catching!" Dandy shouted, as he bent down to snatch the slothful creature.

"Hold on, my boy! I need you all to come with me first!" Dr. Gregory slung his large rifle over his shoulder. "We're going to explore the structure in the distance. Then, when we're done, you can catch all the aliens you want. Did you all bring any weapons?"

"I've got my laser pistol," Dandy said.

"I never bring anything," Meow answered, typing on his cellphone.

"I'm programmed for cleaning, not combat."

"Then, you must take these."

Dr. Gregory opened up his coat, revealing a belt vest with two holstered Magnum pistols attached to it and a small machine gun tucked under his arm. He handed Meow the vest and QT the machine gun.

"That vest should adjust to fit you. And if you need any extra clips, I've got them!"

Dr. Gregory turned around and pointed to the back of his belt, which had various pieces of ammunition clipped to it. Once they were ready, the five of them began their hike through the forest.

"I thought you said you were an archaeologist," Dandy said. "You look like a poacher to me, with all these weapons."

"They're purely for protection! You never know what you'll encounter in old structures like this one. I've encountered grave robbers, bandits, pirates, and all sorts of ne'er do wells in expeditions like this. Not to mention the potentially dangerous creatures lurking in this jungle."

Dr. Gregory noticed that Carrie had gone ahead of the group. The Sepian was digging through every bush she came across and peering inside every one of those funnel-shaped plants similar to the ones they had seen earlier.

"Don't wander off too far, my dear!" Dr. Gregory shouted after her.

"Okay dad!"

The five of them continued onwards until they finally arrived at the enormous structure. It was carved entirely out of a black, marble-like substance with dull, golden streaks running through its granules. The building was massive and looked like a giant, square mountain. A large crack ran through the center of the building, splitting it completely in half. The right half of the building had begun to sink into the ground. In the upper stories, they saw several openings lined with giant, double-barreled cannons; this was obviously some kind of war fortress. What appeared to be chunks of a massive front gate lay in a pile of rubble along the entrance of the building. Oddly, there was a clear path through the rubble large enough for them to fit through and enter rather easily.

"Wow," Carrie said as she stepped inside and looked around, Dandy and the others following behind her.

The inside was dimly lit, but they were all able to make out everything inside. A large crack ran through the floor, with the right half of the room much lower than the left half. The floor was littered with humanoid skeletons with long, slender tails and larger than normal teeth. They were all fitted with some sort of high-tech armor and covered in cobwebs. Long-dead wires dangled from the high ceiling and part of the ventilation shaft had fallen to the floor. The walls had scorch marks on them from plasma fire and empty plasmoid shell cartridges littered the floor.

"I wonder what could have done this," QT asked as he examined the room.

"So Doctor," Dandy said. "I've been meaning to ask you… How exactly did you find Carrie?"

"I was doing research on the ice planet of Archaeon. I had found an old, abandoned laboratory buried under an ice shelf. When I excavated it, I discovered some sort of research laboratory that was genetically engineering Sepian infants. There were thousands of them placed in suspended animation, but all but one of their specimens had been eaten by ice rodents. The power hadn't been completely turned off, keeping this one infant alive, and I took her in. I didn't get to do any more research on the laboratory, for after I took Carrie to my ship to be revived, the lab slid into a deep, underground cavern."

Dr. Gregory bent down to examine one of the skeletons. He noted that something sharp had been used to kill this one, as there was a large gash across his chest armor, also severing his ribcage. Dr. Gregory pulled a plastic bag from his pocket and a pair of tweezers. He used the tweezers to pull a fragment of the armor from the gash.

"I do believe all of these skeletons belonged to Sepian warriors. They were all killed by cutting weapons, despite all of them wielding plasma weapons. Considering how strong Sepians were, and how powerful their weapons were, this is quite puzzling."

"Hey, look at this!" Carrie exclaimed. She had wandered deeper into the building and had found herself in the next room.

Dandy and the others followed her voice into a small room. The ceiling had fallen in, cutting off any further access to the rest of the building. The accessible side of the room seems to have been spared by the collapse. A pile of Sepian skeletons lay next to a large crack running along the floor. There was a relatively new, but obviously used bed in the corner next to a television set and a small camp stove.

Lying in the bed was a very tall, physically fit man with spiky blonde hair, the same shade of blonde as Carrie's hair. He had grey stubble on his face, which was slightly wrinkled with age. He wore a faded blue jumpsuit with the sleeves torn off, revealing his arms, which were fairly muscular. His left hand gripped the neck of a bottle that reeked of alcohol. His eyes were closed, but he wasn't dead, as his chest steadily rose up and down.

"Is that someone living in here?" Dandy asked.

Dr. Gregory aimed his rifle at the bed's headboard and blasted a hole through it, waking the man up. He groaned and sat up to look at the group. He wiped his eyes and looked at Carrie, who was watching him curiously.

"Sh… Shusuka?" The man groaned. "You're shorter than I remember, and you… dyed your hair?" Dr. Gregory pointed the barrel of his rifle at the man. The man noticed this and shouted out of surprise. "Whoa!" He jumped to his feet and put his arms in the air. "What's going on!?"

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" Dr. Gregory asked him.

"I'm Matto," the man answered, still shaken by the sight of Dr. Gregory's large rifle. "I used to work here a long time ago, but now I just live here."

"This place hasn't been in use since the Sepian Empire was dissolved over six hundred Earth Years ago! You couldn't have worked here!"

The group stared at this guy. He looked really familiar, but they couldn't quite figure out why. Dandy, QT, Meow, and Dr. Antilles looked at Matto, then back at Carrie. Matto rubbed his head and threw his bottle on the floor with a groan, causing it to shatter.

"Has it been six hundred years already?" He took another look at Carrie, who tilted her head at him. Matto smiled at her. "You're not Shusuka, but you're the spitting image of her…" Matto's eyes suddenly widened. "Wait… No way! You've got my awesome hair, but Shusuka's face and body. And you're… really short."

"Hey, I'm not that short!" Carrie protested. Matto chuckled softly.

"Guess now I know what Shusuka did with that blood sample she stole from me on our wedding night…"

"Wait, does that mean…" Dandy said.

Matto shrugged. "It looks like it." Matto looked down at Carrie. "I guess that makes you my kid." He rubbed Carrie on the head, making her hair stick up even worse than it already was.

"But, you don't have a tail…" Meow pointed out. "I thought Sepians were supposed to have tails."

"Nope, I always kept it cut off. You don't know how many times I've closed it in a door!"

"Hey, I do that a lot, too!" Carrie exclaimed.

"Remarkable," Dr. Antilles said. He put his rifle down and walked closer to Matto to examine him. "How have you survived all these years? And how did you learn our language?"

"I guess I've been lucky, first of all," Matto replied. "I usually steal from the survey teams those Black Lotus guys send here. The animals here don't taste all that bad either, as long as you cook 'em right. Second, I learned your language by listening in on the survey teams. It took me a few hundred years to learn it, but I got it down pretty good… I thunk."

"Wow, I have two dads now," Carrie pointed out.

"Err, I don't think so," Matto said.

"Um, well Mr. Matto, this is a bit awkward, but I am Carrie's step-father…" Dr. Gregory explained. "Dr. Gregory Antilles. I found your daughter in a laboratory, who had been placed in suspended animation as an infant."

"You named her Carrie? What kind of name is that?"

"It's short for Caroline. I named her after my wife's mother."

"Who's that in there?" A gruff voice shouted from the front room. "You're not supposed to be in there!"

"Oh great, it's one of those Black Lotus guys," Matto said. "You guys led him right to my hiding spot!"

"I know someone's in here!" The voice shouted as it got closer. "We saw your ship parked in the clearing."

The source of the voice, a Black Lotus Imperial soldier, walked right into Matto's room, where he was met with two Magnums, a machine gun, an elephant rifle, and a laser pistol pointed in his face. He dropped his plasma rifle and put his hands in the air.

"Uh, Shusuka! A little help!"

Before anyone could do anything, a large sickle-shaped blade lashed out at the soldier from a dark hole in the wall, impaling him through the chest. The blade retreated back into the darkness, causing the soldier to collapse to the ground, blood pouring from his chest.

Out of the shadows stepped Shusuka. The sickle-shaped blade attached to the tip of her tail coated in the soldier's blood. Matto locked eyes with the android Sepian, who glared at him with both her organic eye and her cybernetic, red eye.

"Sh…Shusuka!? Bu-but I killed you!" Shusuka merely stared at Matto silently, the hairs on her tail standing up. "I stabbed you in the eye with that metal rod!" Matto stared into Shusuka's artificial eye, the skin around it brown and rotting.

"I remember you from the incident in the tunnels!" Dandy shouted. "We fought you with that Gen character back in Chapter 6!"

Dr. Antilles aimed his elephant gun and pumped three shells into Shusuka, one in her stomach, one in her forehead, and another in her left breast. Shusuka doubled over, bleeding a bit, then she stood back up and let out an evil hiss. Her wounds glistened from both the blood and the metal exoskeleton beneath them.

"By Jove, she's some sort of bio-android!" Dr. Antilles exclaimed.

"She's also the one who attacked and killed everyone in this prison!" Matto explained. "I was a guard here, and one day, for no reason, she attacked this planet and killed everyone here. She's insanely strong!"

"She can't be that strong," Meow argued.

"Oh yeah, did you notice how this whole building is split in half?"

"Yeah, so?"

"She did that. By striking the ground. That's why this planet is grey-colored. She not only broke this building, she shattered the planet's tectonic plates, and since then, this planet's suffered from constant volcanic activity."

"She… broke... the planet!?" Dandy, Meow, and QT all exclaimed.

"Yeah. She wasn't the strongest warrior in the Sepian army, but her strength wasn't anything to sneeze at."

"I think we can all take this wench!" Dr. Gregory shouted.

"No!" Matto lifted his bed and threw it across the room, revealing a large hole in the floor. "You guys get out of here. I'll try to hold her off as long as I can."

"Wait, I'll stay and help," Carrie said.

Matto put his hand on Carrie's shoulder. "No, Carrie. I want you to go with your step-dad and your friends and protect them. Mommy and I have a score we need to settle alone…"

"You'll meet us outside when you're done, right?" Carrie asked.

Matto sighed. "I can't promise that. On the day Shusuka and I fought, I didn't stand a chance. I threw a punch at her, but she caught it, and shattered every bone in my arm. The one I have now is prosthetic. If I wouldn't have put that metal rod through her eye, she would've killed me, too. Now go."

"But dad…"

"Now Carrie, listen to your father," Dr. Antilles told the Sepian girl.

Carrie hesitated, but crawled through the hole in the wall. Dandy, QT, Meow, and Dr. Gregory followed. Shusuka started after them, but Matto stood in her way.

"I don't think so. You may have killed all of my co-workers, but I'm not letting you kill our daughter!" Shusuka scowled at him. "Still not the talkative type… You never were."

Shusuka lashed out at Matto with her tail, but Matto side-stepped the attack and grabbed Shusuka's tail. He squeezed it as hard as he could, causing both blood and electric sparks to shoot out of it. Shusuka used her tail to lift Matto off the ground and slam him into the wall. Matto pried himself from the huge indention his body made in the wall and threw a punch at Shusuka. The cybernetic Sepian caught his fist, but barely. She held it back, but had a little trouble doing so.

"You're not as strong as you used to be 'dear'," Matto taunted.

Shusuka responded by punching Matto with her free hand, planting it through his ribcage and leaving a big hole in his chest. Matto coughed and backed away, his chest bleeding. Shusuka grabbed the damaged tip of her tail dangling uselessly with the blade still attached to it and ripped it off.

"Somehow… when I watched those Black Lotus guys take away your body… I knew you'd be back…" Matto coughed. He pulled out a small, pill-shaped device with a button on the top; a thermal bomb.

Shusuka wrapped Matto's body up with her injured tail and began to squeeze the life out of him. She then plunged both her severed tail tip and its blade deep into his shoulder. Matto screamed in pain.

"Let's see… you survive… this!" Matto wheezed. He pressed the plunger on the bomb with his thumb.

Meanwhile, Dandy, his crew, and Dr. Gregory had reached the Aloha Oe. As they started to board the ship, they heard a massive explosion behind them. The ground shook violently beneath them, and they watched as the massive prison fortress behind them collapsed as the ground swallowed it up.

They boarded the Aloha Oe and the yellow ship took off as a huge ball of fire shot up from the crater where the building once stood. The ship shot off into the planet's atmosphere, where they saw a strange starship orbiting the planet. The little yellow starship shot past the much larger ship unnoticed.

"What about our unregistered alien!?" Meow asked. "We're going back for it, right?"

"Not with those Black Lotus guys crawling around everywhere," Dandy answered. "How's Carrie holding up?"

Meow looked from the cockpit into the lounge, where Carrie sat on the floor, staring at her comic books.

"I was right," she mumbled, smiling. "My dad was a hero! That was so cool!"

"Pretty well, actually," Meow told Dandy.

"Sorry that you couldn't get your aliens," Dr. Gregory apologized.

"It's alright. It was worth it to meet that Matto guy. If his sexy, psycho wife wouldn't have shown up, we could've been good drinking buddies."

"There is a small chance he could've survived that explosion," QT said.

"Yeah, but what about those Black Lotus goons?" Dandy added.

"Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing any other soldiers," Meow said.

Meanwhile, back on the planet, close to where Dandy had taken off, a Black Lotus dropship sat silently, a pile of Black Lotus soldiers lying on the ground. Each had a large puncture wound in their chests.

"Maybe they were all on break," Dandy said. "I just hope that's the last we'll see of that Shusuka lady…"

Back at the ruins of the Sepian prison fortress, the burning rubble of the humongous building laid in the new crater made by Matto's thermal bomb. Matto's lifeless body laid under a huge slab, Shusuka's tail still wrapped around him. Shusuka's tail had been completely severed in the explosion, leaving Matto trapped in her tail's deadly embrace.

Close by, a chunk of rubble stirred, pushed aside by a skeletal, mechanical arm with bits of charred flesh dangling from it. Shusuka's torso followed, her synthetic flesh burned away from her cybernetic endoskeleton. Her enormous breasts had been completely vaporized along with most of her synthetic flesh, exposing the internal battery that gave Shusuka life. The battery was damaged by pieces of shrapnel. Her long, brown hair had been completely burned off.

Shusuka dragged herself from the rubble and up the rim of the crater, her heavily damaged ethrite battery crackling as she moved. Shusuka stood to her feet and limped towards the direction of the Black Lotus dropship that brought her to that planet. She kept going until she was within a few feet of the jungle. Her ethrite battery died before she could continue further, and her body froze like a statue. Her red, biomechanical eye dimmed into a black void as her bodily functions shut down.

As she stood motionless and lifeless, another Black Lotus dropship landed behind her. Claire, followed by two soldiers, emerged from the dropship. Claire examined the rubble, then walked over to Shusuka's lifeless body.

"Examine the rubble," she commanded her soldiers. "Make sure that Sepian man is dead."

"Yes ma'am!" The soldiers saluted Claire and ran towards Matto's dead body. Claire examined Shusuka's body as it stood motionless like a mechanical sculpture.

"He sure did a number on you, Shusuka," Claire said.

She smirked as she pressed a charred button on Shusuka's skull. A small, rectangular device made of light popped out of the side of her head and Claire snatched it. She held the small device to her head as it pulsed with a yellow glow. This was Shusuka's mind that Claire had removed from Shusuka after her first fight with Matto six hundred years ago. The yellow glow started to dim, but Claire plugged a fiber optic wire in it from her jacket, and the yellow pulse lit back up again.

"Sorry, but I can't allow you to die just yet," Claire sneered. "I still have some use for you."

Claire's guards returned holding the broken helmet of the soldier that Shusuka had killed in front of Dandy and the others.

"Ma'am, the Sepian is dead," one of the soldiers said. "Also, you might want to see this."

The soldier pressed a button on the helmet and a holographic video popped out of the broken visor. It showed what the soldier had seen before his death, Dandy, Meow, QT, and Dr. Gregory aiming their weapons at him, Matto and Carrie standing behind them side by side. Claire pressed a button on the helmet, causing the video to pause and zoom in on Matto and Carrie.

"So, there is another Sepian left, and surprise, surprise, she's one of my experiments from the ACHILLES Project from before the fall of the Sepian Empire. And she's Matto and Shusuka's daughter, what a discovery." Claire saved the footage to a data chip and handed it to one of the guards. "Commander, I want you to save this to our main archives. I want you to place her on our most wanted list, second to Space Dandy."

"Yes ma'am!"

The two soldiers went back into the ship. Claire poured some sort of acid on Shusuka's skeleton, causing it to dissolve into a silvery pool of liquid metal.

"A reality-warper and the sole survivor of my ACHILLES Project… If I got my hands on both of them, I would be unstoppable."

Claire placed the device containing Shusuka's mind in her pocket. She turned and boarded the dropship, concocting her next plan of action…
