IN THE MANOR…

"What just happened?" asked Paige shocked at Wyatt's move.

"My son threw us out" Piper stated the obvious, rubbing above the bridge of her nose.

"We should go back" said Paige outraged now.

"No. They need to cool down" said Phoebe eyeing Chris.

"Mom, I…" Chris started.

"No matter what. We don't attack each other. Ever" she turned to face her son, trying to keep her tears from flowing. "We need to find a way to help them, not confront them" she explained disapprovingly, turning away from Chris, avoiding eye contact with any of them. "One way or the other, I doubt Wyatt would listen to anything we have to say right now"

"I thought we agreed this couldn't wait" argued Paige.

"Be that as it may, this is not the moment to try and talk sense into him" said Piper firmly.

"Maybe we could… monitor the party guests instead… see if there's any actual exposure problem to begin with" suggested Chris apologetically. "Try and erase the memory only where it's needed" he turned to his Aunt Paige. "At least for now" his tone drenched in defeat.

"Maybe we should have done that first" said Phoebe feeling Piper's fear for both her sons. She wouldn't be able to take them fighting each other.

BACK AT WYATT'S…

Wyatt ran a wash cloth on Sam's forehead as her eyes almost closed.

"Honey, you need to stay awake for me, OK?" he kept dipping the cloth in the water and then dabbing it against her skin.

"Funny" Sam whispered.

"What is, sweetie?" she tried holding onto his hand but it kept slipping off.

"I can make ice and I'm boiling" she made an attempt at a chuckle.

"I don't think using your powers would be a good move here" he said earnestly. He could hear the children starting to cry. It didn't matter who was crying. He knew it would undoubtedly start a nasty chain reaction and it was a bad idea to leave them unsupervised when upset. They weren't in full control of their powers, so the danger of them hurting each other was something to be constantly worried about. He thought for a second. He couldn't ask for help to anyone from his family at the moment. He wouldn't. "Bianca" he muttered orbing his phone to him from the nightstand.

"My Bianca or yours" she laughed silly as Wyatt started to dial. "I wanna say Hi" she tried reaching for his phone.

"Bianca?" he told her. "We need you to come over right now" he said urgently. A moment later, Bianca shimmered in.

"What's going on? Why is she in her clothes?"

"No time to explain. Please just… get to my children"

"Sure...? Everything alright?" Wyatt nodded, his eyes still on his wife. "I'll call Chris and…"

"No" he said flatly. "Don't call him. I need you to take care of them just for a while"

"I don't think I can"

"Please, we need you right now. I promise I'll be right there" said Wyatt as he kept dabbing the wash cloth against Sam's skin.

"OK…" said Bianca unconvinced. "She gonna be alright?"

"Yeah, just need to break the fever" he said orbing the thermometer to check her temperature again. Sam rested her head on the edge of the tub, her eyes closed, her breathing uneven.

"Let me know if you need anything else" she said before leaving the bathroom, still unsure she would be able to help with what was being asked of her in the first place. Wyatt was already putting the thermometer in Sam's mouth. After a few seconds the little device started beeping.

"105. OK. We're going for a dip" he said and they orbed out of the house. They orbed into the water just below the San Francisco bridge. Wyatt used his powers to stay afloat while keeping a firm grip on Sam, both shivering from the coldness of the water. "It's OK. I got you" he knew this was only a temporary solution so he needed to act fast. He orbed to Samuel's house next. "Samuel!" he shouted as he laid Sam on his couch, dripping as he walked in search of his father-in-law.

"Wyatt?" asked his fiancé Alika coming out of the bedroom. "What's going on?"

"Where's Samuel?"

"He's in surgery" she stared at Sam. "What is wrong with her?" she knelt by her side. "Why are you all wet?"

"Her temperature's down for now, but I think she needs a shot of Acetaminophen. Her fever was at 105 before we went into the cold water"

"Has she had any already?"

"She had a 500 mg pill earlier but it had no effect" Alika ran to the kitchen and took out a visibly large emergency kit. She kept rummaging inside the box.

"Here!" she said preparing a syringe. "Her father thought this might come in handy one day. We're lucky this was in here. Courtesy of one of the ER doctors I guess" she was running back to her again her hands full. She wiped her arm with a cotton swab and gave her the shot.

"Thank you" said Wyatt sitting on the coffee table still dripping all over.

"Who's with the kids?"

"Her… cousin" explained Wyatt.

"That should help the fever, but she might need to go to the ER to get another shot if it gets too high again" she handed him a thermometer.

"I'll handle it" he said going to check her temperature again, stopping as logic dawned on him a second later.

"OK…" Alika was afraid to argue even though she didn't think agree with him in the least. "You gotta give the medication a couple hours to be fully effective. That's for later"

"We have one at home" Wyatt placed the thermometer on the coffee table behind him. He orbed the emergency kit to him and closed the lid. "Thank you. We'll call you if we need anything else" Wyatt was very aware they had snitched to his mother now. Without another word, he orbed them back home, where he took care of her wet clothes, glad her skin felt no more than warm to the touch.

MEANWHILE BIANCA…

She managed to get breakfast on the table and was barely taking down Kai to his rocker downstairs when Angie aeroported and Meghan and Julian orbed their way down behind her.

"OK…" she stared at them for a second, after putting Kai down, wondering how this was gonna work. "Hi…" she said hesitantly. The kids orbed to their seats. Julian orbed his baby sister to her high chair so she could have her breakfast too. "Cool. You guys have a solid routine" she smiled as the kids started munching their fruit stars. Kai started to cry catching Bianca's attention. "Milk, right" she ran back to the kitchen to find a bottle. There were clean bottles and powdered milk but she had no idea what to do, Kai's screams made it even harder to concentrate. She read the instructions on the can and prepared a very watery formula, but Kai was well satisfied once he was handed the bottle. He didn't even seem to mind it was nowhere near warm. Bianca sat on one of the dining room chairs to watch them eat. "Just don't ask me for a new diaper, cause then we'll all be in trouble" she told them taking the fruit star Julian offered her.

For the next three or four days, Wyatt kept a very close watch on Sam, so Bianca agreed to come around and help for a few hours a day. She kept Chris posted and with him everybody else on their situation, but thought wise to not come around for the time being.

The clan organized to keep an eye on the party guests, keeping it all in the DL like harmless bystanders around them all. Nobody had even mentioned the party so far. At least, as far as they knew they were still safe from exposure.

In the underworld however, demons who knew about Vizkaroth's plan were growing restless.

"What are we waiting for? They're ready!" Viz ignored him. "If we let them make peace with the Charmed Ones all of our work would be ruined!"

"Our work?" he finally turned to face his fellow demon. He chuckled to himself. "Any creature who tries to get near them right now would meet their end faster than they can register. Not even the Charmed ones are in the picture. They've become unpredictable. They've lost faith in them to do the right thing" Viz delighted in the sound of those words.

"So, what then?" asked the other demon impatiently.

"Once the queen's out of danger, we will force them to push even deeper into the dark"

"How are we gonna do that?"

"You'll see. You'll all see" Viz smiled to himself.

"There's a good chance you'll die, even if you do infect them with the Source's power"

"If I shall die bringing a worthy King and Queen into this world, then it shall be a glorious death"

CHRIS AND BIANCA…

"How're things at my brother's?" asked Chris tangling his fingers in hers.

"Everything's fine. Sam's doing better and the kids are…"

"Hard to handle?"

"Surprisingly, no. Your brother and Sam are doing a wonderful job with them"

"It's amazing, huh?"

"It truly is. I could never do what they do"

"How do you mean? You are kind of already doing it"

"Oh, I'm just a handy backup, but they barely need me around to be honest"

"Then…?" Bianca sighed.

"I know we've seen… our son from another reality, so we know the possibility exists in our future" she paused.

"Are you not happy about it?" Chris was afraid to ask.

"It's not that… even in that other reality, things didn't seem to go too well…"

"What are you talking about? Evan was a great kid"

"What if our kid is meant to be great, but I'm not?"

"What? You've come a long way, Bianca. I know you'll be a great mother one day. If that's' what you want" he caressed her chin.

"I'm really not sure, Chris" her words made him ache for a child that might not be in their future. "I don't know if I'll ever be ready. I'm not sure I'll be able to handle it like they do. Like your mother did"

"You think they're always in control? Mom went through hell raising us on her own before dad became a mortal. My brother…" he gulped. It was hard talking about what his brother was supposedly doing for his family's well-being. "Is not always right" he tried to stay focused on the issue at hand.

"Still, it takes strength that I'm not sure I'll have"

"You will" Chris' smile wore traces of his concern. "And I promise you, I will be by your side every step of the way. No matter what, we'll get through it together" he held her hand, kissing her wrist before putting it to his chest solemnly.

"What if…" Bianca's thoughts had finally started to burst out of her. Helping with the children had brought a lot of her own insecurities to the surface and now it was hard to keep them hidden any longer. Chris could see that it was something she just needed to say, so he waited in silence, still holding her hand. "Our children turn out to be like future Meghan instead? And… we are forced to stop her like they were? Would we be able to do that?" Chris gulped. He wanted to say of course but to be honest he wasn't sure he would. They sat in silence for a few moments, staring at the floor, still holding hands.

"I can't… assure you that evil won't try and take our kids away, but… what I can swear to you… right now…" he knelt in front of her. "Is that we would never stop fighting for them" he stared into her eyes, which burnt as she held back the tears. She never allowed herself to cry, if she could help it. "Even if I had to rearrange the world to do it, I will never give up on them…. Or you" she kissed him as hard as she could. Their lips going numb in a heartfelt and silent promise to each other. Chris couldn't help but understanding his brother the tiniest bit more after his own words.
