A big thank you to the best beta ever ! THANKS ELECTRICGURL!
How I was ever lucky enough to get one of the best 'Drom fanfic writers to be my beta I'll never know!

It was like the last time. Bobby had tied him up then too but then he'd been tied up in crew quarters, not the cockpit. Harper's mind skittered across those memories as he pulled against the wires. There was no slack but blood began to drip down his arms and he shivered. The memories, like the blood refused to stop.

Bobby stood before him, laughing. "I told you she's mine, mutt." He puffed on the cigar, pulled it out of his mouth and stared at the glowing tip. A grin replaced the frown. "Now I'm going to have to teach you your place on this ship little mudfoot." Bobby touched the tip of the cigar to Harper's bare arm.

Harper didn't cry out as the smell of burning flesh filled his nostrils. The burning continued, the smell of sweet tobacco and charred flesh making Harper nauseous.

Bobby used the stogie on both of Harper's arms until there was nothing left of the cigar. Harper's muffled cries did nothing to ease Bobby's temper. He worked out his rage by punching the smaller man.

Harper was able to let the punches lift him off his feet thus easing some of the strength behind the hits. Blood began to trickle down his arms, the salt stinging in the burns. Harper shed silent tears, vowing that once he was free, he'd make Bobby pay. He didn't know how but he'd make him pay. When the larger man finally tired, he released Harper. "You keep your mouth shut if you don't want more, understand?"

Harper nodded. He wouldn't tell Beka. Not for the reason Bobby was thinking. Harper didn't fear the big ape, he did however, fear the captain's reaction. Hell, she'd probably toss him out an airlock for badmouthing her lover. Not that that wasn't in the future anyway but if he played his cards right, she'd toss him out AFTER they landed on a drift instead of while they were still in space.

When they landed on the drift and it was Bobby who tossed out the airlock, Harper could hardly believe his luck.

"This isn't over." Bobby growled as he shoved past Harper. "I'll get you mutt."

"I'm shaking in my shoes." Harper replied.

Bobby raised his fist, Harper flinched and Jensen laughed.

"Go on." Beka growled. "I never want to see you again."

Harper was jolted into the present by his knees meeting the deck. He looked up, fearing Bobby's wrath. Lem stood over him, quivering. "Go. Your captain wants you."

Harper scrambled to his feet and away from the Mugani. Away from the memories.
