Very Important Note Please Read!
Greetings to everyone if you are reading this then i am glad you are. Because this story has to do with a lot of things that are important for you to know before reading the chapter.
Now let me make this clear in this earliest of stages. If you don't like it, keep moving to the next story. Otherwise, if you feel like giving it a chance then please do read this important note, and make your final decision at the end of it.
WARHAMMER 40K
Now in this story Perturabo, and the Iron Warriors will not be turning Traitors or to the faith of the Chaos Gods. They will remain loyal to the Imperium, and to the Emperor...well the latter is at most of the times.
I know what you're thinking or at least I do (Readers: Wait of all the Primarchs, why choose Perturabo)
Answer: Well, I could have chosen Mortarion, Magnus, Even poor Angron who from the gladiatorial arena, to the family he had made there, to the family he was forced to leave behind to die, and to endure the butcher's nail. And yet I have chosen Perturabo, why you'll see further down the road*.
Now as Perturabo and his Iron warriors will not be turning to Chaos, things will change in this story. What do I mean by that, well events from the Great Crusade to the Horus Heresy will be different (Events, Bonding's, Rivalries, and most importantly Deaths).
What do I mean, for example the Istvaan V massacre will be averted. I know it is shocking, and yet true. Now why would I do that, well I always believed that if Vulkan, and the Salamanders were on the defense of Terra things might be different (Less civilian casualties, and not captured. Who doesn't love the Salamanders AND Vulkan)
(Reader: Does this mean that they're going to be more events that are to be changed)
Answer: Yes and No, I must apologize but I can't make any spoilers. What I can tell you right now is that Istvaan III, and the Burning of Prospero are not going to change.
(Reader: WHAT, wait if you're going to avert the Istvaan V why not Istvaan III, or even the Burning of Prospero)
Answer: I truly have confidence in Saul, and Nathaniel to save their brothers, (And we need the Knights Errant/Grey Knights in mere future). As for Magnus I have plans for him (No Spoilers*).
Now the reason why I have chosen Perturabo is simple. From all the Primarchs, Perturabo has definitely one of the toughest, and most enduring personalities ever. He doesn't give up; he knows he will continue to fight until he wins a battle. And yet of all his history of pain, suffering, the desire to be acknowledged (Not just him, but his craftsmanship as well) for something he has done.
Yes His desire for warfare and siege blinds him at the most, and yes he has the most casualties in his legion. Yes he puts tough rules that not all would have approved.
But let's not forget his childhood was tough, his desire to be met with love. Not to be used as a weapon or to spread fear (Olympia).
* Now as a fan of the Warhammer 40k universe, I couldn't bear to see Perturabo struggle in life, and Calliphone's death as well. As such, this story will be different as I mentioned this story will see a different side of him, and his bonding with Calliphone she is after all one of the important people in Perturabo's life, and that's how it will change him. Not just a ruthless warlord, but also a caring one as well, for the anticipation of meeting his sister again. (I'll explain further down the road)
BONDINGS:
Rogal Dorn: Friendly Rivalry (I know, SIEGE, FORTIFY, SIEGE, FORTIFY etc.)
Vulkan: Who doesn't love that Huge, Caring Primarch (Hey if you were a guardsman, you would definitely want him watching your back)
Corvus Corax
Sanguinius: No Spoilers*
Magnus the Red: No Spoilers* (Readers: RAGE*)
Hephaestus: 50-50
RIVALRIES:
Lorgar Aurelian
Fulgrim
Ares
Hephaestus: 50-50
?
If you reached this far congratulations, but there is more, again it's your choice.
Also i recommend you to read Primarchs- 04 -Hammer of Olympia, and watch the channel of: Wolf Lord Rho

(Alert Spoilers in coming)
Percy Jackson and the Olympians
I'll be Honest, never in my life have I ever felt more ashamed than ever. For never have I ever taken the chance of reading Rick Riordan's Books, not even in my childhood (I KNOW, HERESY!)
Until Now, I have taken the opportunity to read Percy Jackson chronicles, and so far I'm in the Titan's Curse (AWESOME...AND SAD ); ).
Also I am totally disappointed in the Movies, not even close to the books. Hopefully, the series that will come out will be great...I hope.
Anyways back at the matter at hand. Calliphone is one of the most important characters in the story. Of course along the way Perturabo will make new bondings with new people as well. However, until that happens she will be on the planet of Pluto III. It will be the same as earth, the same year as the books have taken place.
Only difference is it will be a remote planet from the eyes of the imperium, Aliens, and of the Dark Gods…...Mayyybe (;.
(Readers: Wait identical as earth, is that possible)
Answer: Yes why not, I mean the Hrud had the possibility of being aliens from the future, and mere evolution of humanity, and they could perhaps control time. Or the Cabal who predicted the future, and made the Alpha Legion to make a choice on whose side they were going to be (If they can do that, why not a planet).
(Readers: When will Perturabo reunite with Calliphone)
Answer: After 215-250 years (Readers: '_' )
THE END
CONGRATULATIONS! Yet again, I hope you understood the meaning behind this very large note, of course any questions you can ask me by PM or Reviews. Although, I must warn you that any questions that are related to spoilers, I will not answer.
Without further ado please enjoy.
Prologue: The Beginning
806.M30
LOCHOS OLYMPIA
In the deep corners of the Imperial Palace, where no mere person could venture in, was the study place of one certain prodigy. Whose life had changed the moment he had arrived here, in these dark infested lands, and the Lord of these Lands, happened to be his foster-father the Tyrant of Lochos. He remembered the court, he remembered the day he met his foster-father, and the test he had done to prove who he was.
From that day he had been living in the Imperial Palace, and soon he had become a son to the Tyrant. Even though he had found a family, he never actually felt as being one of them nor among the court. He hated it, he had to live with snakes, whose only ambition was to rule, and betray, and yet not all had the same motive.
Not everyone would seek power, and use it against those who deem them as enemies, one such individual was his own little sister, Calliphone. Although she was but a girl, her mind was that of any Tyrant in Olympia, cunning, and shrewd. Unfortunately, their father forbade her from becoming a ruler, for the mere reason of her being a girl.
Though they were Female Tyrants in Olympia, he wouldn't acknowledge it as he had further ambitions than to concern himself with his children. Or at least some of his children.
Soon he had a glimpse of the true passion his foster-father had, and his ideal of peace. Peace, not a word used in this Planet, only war, and he hated it. He hated to see people use him, or underestimate him. But for every stretch of anger running through his body, there was also rejoice, as his sister's voice would always be the voice of reason.
He remembered fondly of how he spent time in his attic, and at the same time how Calliphone would visit him. Unannounced, and to the annoyance of her caretakers her constant disappearance from her daily tutoring. It was a pleasant feeling at that time, how remarkable it was for one to change the course of someone's else's behaviour. But at the same time the slightest horror of seeing her develop into a monster, into an item to be used, and nothing more.
A mere thought, that he wished it would never come to pass. He cared for his little sister, and to see her unharmed had been one of many priorities. Even though he was renowned for his coldess. Few people would see him smile, laugh, or express his feelings.
A few ideas, and some audiences with his foster-father about Calliphone's future plans, were met by deaf ears. Until the day he was studying at the Castle's Library, for any new potential languages or architecture. Instead he stumbled upon a few scrolls. Old ones, dated back long before Lochos was built, and the knowledge they were holding.
It took him less than a day for him to decipher them, and he discovered the design of a teleportation machine. Used by the ancient Olympians, as a means for them to travel from far distant locations. From what he could remember, it was the perfect way for Calliphone's safety, and he didn't lose any precious time from building it.
Once he had finished, he knew that persuading Calliphone from leaving wouldn't be an easy task. But to his astonishment she agreed with him wholeheartedly. She didn't tell him of the reason as to leaving the Palace without even a sign of struggle. But he remembered her telling him "I had a dream".
He didn't need to question her further as he knew what it meant. That dream wasn't the first experience she had. Over the course of his stay in the Palace, many had claimed that Calliphone's dreams were a gift from the Gods, that she could predict the future.
He didn't believe it, no matter how many times the priests would say it, he didn't believe that the Gods would give her visions of the future. He already had a possible theory that her mind was half asleep, and half awake during those excursions. But he knew better than to have an argument with her.
As they reached their destination, he saw In the far corner of his room two metal Crescents were facing each other, cables exposed to their sides, to which led to a small control panel. As they approached he could feel his sister's hand trembling.
"B-Bo" she said "I'm scared"
He couldn't blame her, for every other fourteen year old who would face the challenge of going somewhere unfamiliar to them would feel the same. He turned to look at her, kneeling to the ground, and grabbed her hand more firmly.
"You shouldn't" he said with a rare gentle voice "What you are about to embark on. Is a journey of a new life, away from our Father's ambition".
She looked at him with teary eyes.
"What about you" She asked, "I am to remain here" He said, as he looked at his teleportation machine.
"It will not hold for the both of us, and as such it can only be used once".
She cried, as she went forward, embracing him with her arms around his neck.
"H-How a-are we to meet again" she mumbled into his chest, each word a was a small strike to his heart. With his left hand he grabbed her from the shoulder, and with his right revealed her an item. As she looked up, her face red, her cheeks puffed, and her eyes wide "You will have this" He said.
As he scooped her up, he presented her with a silver necklace, with a green emerald in the middle, and above it the words "Wait for me" was carved on it .
"This necklace is a tracking beacon no matter where you are, I will find you sister" He said, as he saw the small hint of hesitation in her eyes.
"H-How will you find me?" She asked, with a small sniffle, as he put it around her neck.
"I have made another necklace for myself. Once I am able to free myself from here, I will be coming for you" "Do you think father will let you" She asked.
"Sooner or later, my real father will come for me. As to when I do not know. However, I know that I'll be leaving this place, and I promise you that the second I do, I will come for you".
The way he said it, made her less scared of what's to come, she wiped a tear, and sniffled one last time. Before giving a beaming smile, and a nod.
"Alright" she said with confidence "But please promise me that you will not forget me, promise Bo" he smiled at her "I won't, I promise".
As they hugged, little did they both know that their chance of seeing each other will be filled with obstacles that not even Calliphone, or Himself would be ready to face them. As the engines were ignited, and as the wind picked itself up. He glanced one last time at his sister. Her once chignon hairstyle was now loose showing her Dark Hair flickering around, her Black eyes met his Ice-Blue ones, and he saw a small smile on her face, before disappearing into the unknown.
He gripped his hands together, and felt a wave of shame coming to him. What he did felt necessary, but the mere thought of not being able to protect her from where she was.
'No' he thought 'She is safe, away from the Tyrant, and I promised her that I would be coming for her' he told himself.
As he walked towards his desk, he saw the other necklace he had made himself for, and as he grabbed it. He stared intensely at the emerald, and when he saw the small beam of light coming from it, he knew then that she was safe.
As the Night passed Morning came, and the Boy who didn't take a moment's sleep was working tirelessly on his new plan for a mill. However, half his thoughts were drawn to Calliphone's wellbeing. The moment she was transferred, he made sure to destroy the teleportation machine, and the plans for it. As he feared for what could happen if they discovered it.
Before he could think of something else, the doors to his room burst open. Soldiers flocking around him with their rifles aimed at him. With a small hint of annoyance he turned to look at them, among them he recognized the familiar face of Miltiades.
The same man who discovered him climbing the Phrygean Cliffs, and brought him here. The man wore a disappointing face mixed with anger.
"Where is she" He said begrudgingly.
"Who" Perturabo asked "You know who" responded Miltiades.
He gave him a sigh "If you are to continue asking half questions, then you should leave. I have work to do, and I am in no position to play games"
"Your sister!" Said Miltiades with anger "Where is she?" he shrugged.
"As you can see, she is not with me" the man scoffed. "She is always with you, and if she wasn't she would be doing her daily lessons, which she isn't".
"Well as you see she isn't here, so I recomm-" "Enough of your foolishness Boy, your Father demands an audience with you, and he is not happy with your constant retaliation" Interrupted Miltiades, as he glared at him for doing so.
"Yes yes you can glare all you want, now come" with that he turned around, and marched towards the throne room.
As he entered the hall, he saw the court, the soldiers guarding each entrance, and the two titanic statues standing on each side of the throne. Sitting on it was a middle aged man, wearing a crown of stylised iron pine needles on his head, a round hump of a stomach, his imperial purple chiton, his Black hair, a feather on his scalp, and a frown on his face.
Dammekos, eighth of his name, Tyrant of Lochos, third of the twelve Tyranthikos, Lord of Irex, Kerroitan, Domminiki, and the Septologies of Alka.
Was sitting on his throne room with a destesful look, as he stared at Perturabo trying to do his own deciphering. As he approached, Miltiadles tried once again to force him to kneel, and again he failed.
He stood like a mountain, and he wasn't going to give to neither of them the pleasure of doing so. He stood in the middle of the court, all the nobles looking between him, and his foster-father. Among them he noticed Herakon, his supposed brother.
"Perturabo my boy, it is good to see after so long" He said with amusement in his voice.
"After all, being closed up to your attic has become somewhat unusual. Are you hiding from the world my dear boy" He asked.
"No my Lord, I have not" Perturabo said, but before he could continue "My dear lad, there is no reason for formalities, you know I see you as my own son, so please father would do" He said with a smile, Herakon scoffed.
"As it may be...father" Said Perturabo with a small disday on the word "I have been working on a new project" "Oh do tell" "A new mill that would help the farmers during their harvest, it has-" To his annoyance he was interrupted again.
"A mill" Said Dammekos "My dear boy a mill would be of great use to the farmers. But don't you want to use your talents for...I don't know a better cause".
It was coming, he knew what's about to be said next as he had predicted.
"Such as" He asked "Such as...Making defence mechanisms for the purpose of protecting your Home" He said with a small grin 'Home' he thought of the word, not knowing what to think of his home, and how to see it.
"I shall make preparations for that my Lord. It will take me some time to calculate, and design some sort of defence system, but it will be done" He said, trying to sound enthusiastic about the idea, Dammekos smiled "Excellent" He said before he turned to that of seriousness.
"Now" He said, as their eyes met "To more important matters. Where is my Daughter".
"As I said before to your sub-optio, that I have no clue as to where my little sister is" Dammekos scowled "You know better than to lie to me, my boy. I know that both of you went to your attic, and that afterwards she never left"
He grasps his hands tightly "She is safe" "So she's gone, is that what you're saying" Perturabo didn't reply as Dammekos sighed.
"Where is she?" "I do not know" he raised his eyebrow "She didn't tell you where she would be" "No" He raised his left hand, and with his index finger he pointed to his chest "And may I require as to the whereabouts of this beautiful necklace of yours".
"I made it myself, the emerald, I found it during my climbing of the Phrygean Cliffs" Dammekos interests of it quickly disoriented "I see, but it still doesn't answer my question as to where my daughter is" He thought for moment "Miltiades" He said as the grumpy man of his soldier came forward.
"Yes my Lord" "You shall gather a group of men, and you shall investigate every rock, every house until you find my Daughter" "Yes my Tyrant".
"Good, and as for you my dear boy" Said Dammekos as he looked at him disappointed.
"You should have watched your sister more carefully, who knows to what trouble she must be into" He said with concern, though he could predict the mere hint of disinterest as well.
"Now the lot of you begone, I need to gather my thoughts" Dammekos said, as every person in the room started making its way towards the gates.
As Perturabo turned to make his way outside, his foster-father's voice sounded again "And Perturabo my dear boy, don't think for a moment that you will not be punished accordingly".
'I didn't' he thought as he made his way out, thinking of how this was all but a show of power, and nothing more. His thoughts came to a stop as he focused on the one thing he had missed in that moment, his sister.
1775
Arizona, Pluto III
In an unknown location, Calliphone tried to navigate herself through the dark corners of the forest. She didn't know where she was, only that it was dark, the moon was shining right above her, and she was scared. The forest didn't have any similarities to that of the forests of Lochos, and she knew that she was in an unknown territory.
Clutching her necklace tightly, she walked as far as her feet could carry her. Exhaustion took her instantly as she fell to the ground, she whispered a small "Bo where are you" before closing her eyes, and praying to the gods.
As she was about to give up, she noticed the familiar smell of roasted food coming from a far. As her stomach growled, she rose to her feet, and forced herself to walk towards the delightful smell. Her exhaustion was gone, and was replaced with the mere thought of eating something.
As she came close to a clearing, she spotted a small campfire being lit up, and huge tents all around it. And as she walked closer, she stumbled into some branches, and before she could do anything.
Loud voices were heard all around her, and to her horror, arrows were pointed at her. However, what had surprised her the most was the ones who were holding their bows. She was shocked to see that each, and every one of them was a girl, and yet she was relieved at the same time.
As she was about to speak, one of the girls beat her to it. She was tall, graceful, and beautiful. She had brown eyes, a slight upturned nose, copper-colored skin, and a silver circlet braided into a top of her long dark hair.
The tall girl shouted at her, and yet from all the yelling Calliphone didn't understand a single word that had been said from her. She looked at her with an incredulous look, as trying to determine the words she was saying. But she couldn't as if she was hearing a different kind of language.
The situation became more heated, as they came closer, her eyes filled with terror, as she shot her hands in the air, the gesture of surrendering to them. If her brother was here he would remark at how easy she had given herself to them. But since he wasn't here to protect her, she hadn't any other choice.
As they approached ever so closer, her heart almost stopped. Before another voice was heard, the sound of that person was demanding, and to her surprise they lowered their bows. As she glanced towards the person that had just rescued her from a certain point of death.
She saw another girl emerging from behind the group. She saw a mixture of cold, bright silvery yellow eyes were piercing her soul. Her fear came back, as the girl approached. Her Auburn hair gathered as a pony tail, while her silver bow was placed behind her, to her relief.
As she was standing in front of her, she said something to her, but didn't understand what. As she became frustrated she said "I don't understand you"
They all were shocked to hear her, as if they didn't understand her as well. The leading girl however didn't flinch, as she just raised her eyebrow before saying something again.
Then it became more complicated as the leading girl raised her hands, and touched Calliphone's head. She didn't move an inch, as afraid of what could have happened if she did. Not long after she let go, and to her astonishment.
"I am Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt, Wilderness, and the Moon who are you young maiden"
