Diana, Sue and Nancy are now waking up in bed and went to the bathroom to brush their teeth. Then, they spit the toothpaste out of their mouth and put their toothbrush away. They are about to celebrate Thanksgiving Day at Diana's house as a matter of fact. Their parents are making Thanksgiving dinner of course. Let's hope that Diana and her friends will be having a good Thanksgiving dinner.
"Morning, mom." said Diana.
"Good morning, Di." said Mrs. Evans. "It's Thanksgiving Day today."
"I heard that, mom." said Diana. "In fact, it's going to be a good one this year."
"I hope so, Di." said Mrs. Evans. "I am making turkey right now."
"That smells good, mom." said Diana. "What kind of turkey is it?"
"It is smoked turkey." said Mrs. Evans. "You can watch the Thanksgiving Day parade on TV."
"Sounds good to me." said Diana. "Here comes my friends."
Diana saw her friends came downstairs.
"Good morning, Di." said Sue.
"Good morning, girls." said Diana. "Our parents are making Thanksgiving dinner right now."
"I saw them, Di." said Nancy. "They are good at it."
"We can watch the Thanksgiving parade on TV." said Diana.
"We are watching it right now, Di." said Sue.
Diana and her friends saw the turkey balloon on TV.
"That is a big turkey." said Nancy.
"I know, girls." said Diana.
"Did you smell something, Di?" Sue asked.
"Smells like Thanksgiving dinner is ready." said Diana.
"It's ready now, girls." said Mrs. Evans.
Diana and her friends went to the table and took a seat.
"That is a lot, mom." said Diana.
"We have been working hard in the kitchen." said Mrs. Evans. "Let's pray."
After they pray, Diana and her friends are starting to have their Thanksgiving dinner.
"This is a good turkey." said Sue. "Who made that?"
"My mom did." said Diana. "It is a lot."
"We can save some for later." said Nancy. "Let's continue eat."
"Okay, girls." said Diana. "We don't have to finish them."
